Easy to understand.

This class is easy. He is VERY helpfull. He gets confused a lot and makes a lot of mistakes. Make sure you review your tests and homework cause he might mark it wrong when it's right.

Prof. Boles is really nice and helpful. I must admit that he is not as clear as you would want a professor to be but thats what I get for taking stats in 6 weeks. The q2uizzes in the class have the same value as the test. Hes hot too! Built right!

This prof is the best ever i suck at math and i am passing, his class is not designed for anyone to fail. if you go there and you say the grade you want he will work with you and help you to get that great. super funny and cool.you will laugh all throughout his class. he make math fun.

There is no way you should fail this class if you study. Prof Boles gave many opportunities to pass class. Very easy going and will stop to explain questions.

Prof. Boles is a great teacher. He will challenge you to learn. Write abd study everything he writes on the board. He will provide many opportunities for you to learn and pass his class. I am a student at FAU who needed this class to get my BA and Professor Boles is the Best professor in the world. go to class and do the work.Tell him the grade you need and he will make sure you get it with his help and some work.His class was a pleasure i laughed in class every night he is super funny.i am the worst in math and got a "B" YEAH

Professor Boles is one of the best professor of mathematics i have come across at broward college his instruction were clear and once u paid attention and did your asigments there was no way you should fail his class

I enjoyed his class, i'm not that great in math but was able to bass the class with a mid B. If you need help after class he is able to help during he office hours. He gives test reviews before each test which are helpful In order to pass you must show up to class and study he is not one of those teachers who just pass you just because you show up.

I read some of the descriptions and I realized that in any given class you will have many different opinions since we're not all the same. He understands the material and explained it the way I needed it to be explained. Whenever I was confused, I asked questions and he answered them. I took him for two consecutive courses and got an A both times.

Great Professor, really glad I took him. He actually came to class an hour early to help with a study group! He is really there for his students.

He is good professor. Just study, and you will pass!

before taking this class I hated math with a passion (still hate it but to a lesser degree)Mr. boles is very helpful and i felt very comfortable asking for help when previously i would suffer in silence.he also gives more than enough time to complete homework.so as long as you pay attention, do homework and take notes u will pass.

Prof. Boles is very nice. He's also thorough and fair. Do your homework and extra credit, review for your tests and you'll also get an A.

Very helpful to students who ask for help. He will give little jokes here and there.Writes too much on the board though and he gets alittle confused at times. Participate in class and make him know your name and show that youre interested in his class. Do all the extra credit homework he gives.. it helps.

Do not be discouraged to take his class I was when I read these reviews. I did not open my book this semester at all I studied from the notes and mainly from his practice tests. Study from his practice exams & you'll be fine. He gave us the option online or in class for the final, don't opt for online. He is very fair I would def. take him again!

Professor Boles is very helpfull and a easy going person. I took him for MAT1033 in the summer, he write very clear and go step by step so students can understand. Alot of people says he is unclear, but am sure they never asked questions. If I was unclear i would ask questions until i got it. Overall my experience in this class was good.

Just follow his notes and do all of the recommended work he gives you in the book. its all about practice, you cant expect to just KNOW these things inherently. He's a good math prof, better than most at least.

I took this professor some time last year and now I'm looking to see if he teaches MAC105.. I thought he was wonderful. He does not tolerate childish and immature behavior and I don't blame him. He was very very nice and extremely helpful. I will admit that he was 5 minutes late sometimes but he was also willing to stay after class to help out.

Great professor. I believe he's also a high school teacher so he explains everything until everyone gets it! Tests aren't hard. Great class. Had fun. Would take again.

Stat is not an easy class. This prof is very straight forward if you listen to him. He makes stat fun, I hate math and I enjoyed taking his class. I highly recommend him over Paul beulieu. Professor Boles knows how to teach stat !

Professor Boles was a great teacher!! He explains everything to fullest, so that even a child could probably understand him. I love his teaching strategy and he helps you as much as possible. He is not out to fail you, his goal is to help you learn and be successful. He also has a very nice body;)

Took his accelerated 8 week course and got an A on everything. Follow his notes and do the reviews before tests and you're guaranteed an A. Nothing difficult about this professor. He's extremely patient and cares that EVERYONE understands the information. Taking him for regular Stats next semester.

Great teacher he is very clear on what he expects from you. just show up to every class because you will miss important info. he gives reviews before each test and doesn't mind explaining until you get it. he is very passionate about his job. If i could take him again i surely will!

Amazing professor! He doesn't mind explaining things to you until you understand. He is always ready to teach. The way he lectures is pretty clear and he breaks down each step for you. His test reviews are very helpful. I wish I could take him again. Other than his teaching strategies, he is very funny and attractive as well.

I'm my opinion Professor Boles is an A+ Teacher. I Took him for an 8 Week course, he doesn't give extra credit by demand, however if your willing to go up to the dry board and do some problems, its well worth it on the tests. You know the old rule, "Ask and you shall receive", don't expect to pass without giving some effort in this class!

He knew when to joke around but also get to work. Although the tests were kind of hard because I'm not very good at math, he knew how to explain and go back if anyone misunderstood.

Mr boles cares about his students he breaks the material down really well for you to understand it. he is big on attendance. just respect him , come on time and study his reviews and you will pass

Mr. Boles is so awesome! I took him for fall semester and passed his class. Most students fail to realize that you have to work hard and can't give up. He is one of the few professors that'll actually do everything to help you. Take his class and you'll pass but you have to do your part and study.

Professor Boles is a reasonable and fair professor. He gives out quite a bit of homework, but it's easy if you listen to his lectures. His lectures are understandable. Don't hesitate to ask questions before, during, or after class. He also offers homework assistance during his office hours.

He is wonderful professor that shows and has passion for his students. He truly has a passion for teaching.

If you really need to learn this professor isn't for you. However, he will help you and go out of his way to make sure you can pass. He says you need the text book but you will literally never use it. Not the most organized person by far so you will really need to stay on top of your stuff but do the homework and participate and you should pass.

If youre bad at math, take him! He makes sure every student understands before moving on. Attendance isnt super mandatory but he will bump you at the end of the semester if you have 100% attendance. LOTS OF HOMEWORK! But it actually helps for the test!

He is a great professor! I love Mr. Boles. I always been bad at math, yet he has helped me out so much. Math is a very difficult thing for me. But with his help and my hard work i managed to pass math :)

I liked this professor. This class was very hard for me. He made the material as clear as could be, he is a good teacher. I only had a minor problem with the fact that my fellow students were very rowdy, lots of young people, and this professor didn't control the class well. I would take his class again.

He's really personable, intelligent, and good at explaining. He'll occasionally get wrapped up in talking to the students/the class, but the professor si worth taking I think. I had him for col alg. His homework and study guides are almost exactly like the tests, too.

He is a very nice professor who will go over whatever you need help on and he tries to make it very clear. He gives random extra credit with worksheets so try not to miss class because he will not give you that worksheet if you are not there. He always gives up to 3-4 quizzes and 3 tests and 1 final. Most of the stuff on the tests are on the review

Prof Boles explains how to solve a math problem step by step & does so w/o making you feel ignorant when you ask for help which was a plus for me being that I dislike math w/a passion. He reviews w/the class b4 each test which was also a plus. If you want to pass: show up, do the HW, study & you'll do well on your quizzes/tests & you will pass!

He believes in you more than u believe in yourself which gives u the drive to work harder. He's very good at explaining the material, and if you don't get it in class, he'll help you during his office hrs. BEST PROFESSOR ON CENTRAL CAMPUS!

He is a GREAT professor. He answers questions during the class and after class. He gives test reviews with the answers. The tests are very similar to the reviews. He cares about the students and tries to help them out.

This teacher is awesome. He explains concepts thoroughly and clearly. He helps his students pass, but you have to want to be successful. He assigns problems and walks around to help you out. This helps you learn the material. Take him and I recommend that you take him.

I took professor boles this past semester and he was excellent. He took time out of his day to help me after class through ZOOM. Professor Boles is efficient when it comes to ZOOM classes because of covid. He is highly intelligent and respectable!
