Ok this class was a breeze, but I cannot speak for my classmates...they needed curve grades in order to pass...anyways not the professors fault but theirs. I got an easy A anyone else should. Take him with confidence, he is very helful provided you ask for help. Expect tests to cover the homework material and you will get an A

I accidentally signed up for lab instead of lecture, so it was hard for me to (re)learn objectives. Donny was very patient and taught me things until I understood. Hard to understand and I am Vietnamese LOL. He lets you take tests twice and keep the higher grade. Also has learning lab hours so he's usually around for help! No book needed.

I haven't taken a math for over 5 years but Professor Le help me understand math again. Professor Le isn't a bad professor. Although he has a language barrier, it's not that bad. He breaks everything down as much as he can. He wants you to pass and its solely up to the individual to pass the class. He gives you ample time before test to study.

He is very good and very intelligent professor I have ever had. He made everything simple and easy. His test is hard but help you learn a lot. Every question make you think. He always be there to help you. Take him with confident.

Mr. Le was a good professor. He has a thick accent, so I was a bit worried when I first started class, but after a couple of classes I got used to it and his explanations became easier to follow. Funny guy, the stories he tells can be a bit distracting at times during lab, but overall he does his best to communicate course expectations.

I just passed my DMAT 310 this Spring 2018. I love this professor, he taught me a lot. He always helps you whenever you needed it. If you have time, go to CSM and ask him as many questions as you can. If you understand his practice test, you will pass the test. He is really smart teacher. I will take him again if he teach college algebra.

One of the most great teacher that I had. He established my math in good foundation in 305. I passed his class with A and now I am in calculus 2. He taught me all bases of college Algebra.

Hes very smart and is a good teacher and you will definitely learn IF you pay attention at all times because his accent is a little hard to understand but you pick up after a while. He is not strict and as long as you try hard he will give that effort back. Also hes funny and will tell interesting stories :)

His tests are similar to practices. If you have any questions, you can ask him in class. He will spend time with you to explain any questions you ask.

If you have trouble understanding Vietnamese accents, I would stay away. If you don't, he's a really good professor and preps you well for exams. Definitely a tough course, but he gives you the resources to pass with a high grade. He goes on tangents about his life sometimes, but they're fun and provide real world examples to the class work.

I came back to school after 15 years out of High School and never had a good Math teacher in the past. So needless to say I was worried about this one. Professor Le is a great human, has been through a lot and uses real life scenarios to relate to math problems. I would absolutely take him again. Stats is difficult but he made it bearable for me!

I love this professor. He is very good and smart. I took him just past semester, Spring 2020. At first it is a lecture but then the pandemic - covid19, he put everything online. He also went to Blackboard and taught us online. He gave me a very good review. If you do online homework, you will pass class with A for sure. I recommend to you

I took College Algebra 1314 with him. He is real nice teacher. He cared about you. He is very knowledgeable and tell you a lot of good stories and sometime he is so funny with his face. I learned a lot from him. I will take him again if he teach pre-calculus. If you do online homework and test review, you will pass his class with A. I love him

He made sure communication to him was easy. He was available a lot during the online learning semester.

Would give lots of chances for people to make up their work. Had online sessions if anyone needed help understanding anything. Would respond to emails fairly quickly. Could tell that he cared about how the students were doing. The work is hard and sometimes not easy to understand but you can tell that he wants you to succeed.

This professor is awesome!! He is very caring and understanding. You will get at least 3 e-mails a week from him just checking up on us and making sure we are fine(which is great in times like these). He is always making sure we understand every concept and offers the most help he can. Overall, he is amazing and would definitely recommend him.

This class is tough especially not being good at math. Homework is a everyday thing, and exams are worth a lot. The prof is such a huge help if you reach out to them. He will email you every other day sending reminders and good vibes. I wouldn't take this course again, but am glad I got the grade I needed & wished all profs were like this one.

I have taking him for a summer statistics coarse. He wants everyone to pass his class with a B or higher. There were 3 exams, and some reopen for a do over. Also, there were quizes and lots of homework! He tells many interesting personal life stories. Super friendly, strong accent. Did have lecture videos online in case you missed class. Pick him!!

I loved Professor Le. I took his course during summer and he really cares about his students understanding the lecture. Statistics was really fun. He is an amazing professor and wants you to do well. He is also really funny LOL.

Professor Le, is an outstanding professor. He really cares about his students, if you apply yourself and do the homework you will pass. He makes the test similar to the review and will help you with any questions you have and take the time to make sure you understand. You can tell he wants everyone to succeed and will do anything to make it happen!

Professor Le is the BEST Math Professor I've had. His lectures are very good. He makes everything becomes simple and easy to follow. He tells you a lot of good stories and motive you when he meets you. He cares about you and give a lot of chance to make up your homework and tests. If you learn his review tests, you will pass your tests with A+.

Professor Le was amazing. In his elementary statistics class there is little to no homework with everything being done in class through MyLab Statistics. From the first day he lays out clear grading: 30% mylab hw,10% quizzes, 60% tests. He is easy to reach and provides tutoring on-on-one throughout the semester. Easy A and highly recommend.

There are 4 major test + the final. He gives out reviews that are similar to the test. There is a homework due every class. Some are simple, 8 question, but some are long, 30 questions. He has an accent. At first it was hard for me to understand him but by the second week I got used to it and could. If you do the reviews you will pass this class.

Whenever I'm doing self-studying and confusion gets in the way, the next time I go to class, Professor Le will cover everything that I need to know without even asking him (this just showed you how good he is at teaching students all the materials they need to know). His lectures are always fun and he uses real-life examples to teach the students.

Prof. Donny Le cares about his student's success. He sends assignment due date reminder and he also sends email every other day to check on his students. He was always willing to help. I wish all professors can be like him. If you are considering Math courses/classes at Dallas College, please take Prof. Le, he's awesome. Best professor ever!!!!

Very nice and hilarious professor who makes class fun but instructive. He is generous in grading and responds to students in detailed manner.

(Summer-1 / 5 week class): This was one of my favorite math classes yet thanks to professor Le! He's hilarious, very friendly, and takes care of his students. Keep good communication, don't slack, and sit at the front! He'll walk you through any questions you have and is reasonably flexible. Bring energy drinks if you want to make his day.

I was nervous abt taking Professor Le, but I am so glad I did. I was on the verge of an A but still had a semi high B. Professor Le was always kind and understanding about being flexible on deadlines. The whole class is through MyMathLab so you can work ahead if you want which is helpful. 10/10 recommend him and would take him again!

Great professor, a bit hard to understand at first but eventually, you get used to him. He goes through all the concepts in class and will do a problem if you ask him to. I highly recommend taking notes in class. Very helpful professor and responds to emails quickly. All assignments are online including quizzes and exams which have 2 attempts.

Professor Le is the easiest professor ever, he literally gives you the exact problems that will be on the test but with like one number changed. He explains things really well and thoroughly and he's really funny. Love him.

I took this course in 5 weeks, which was a lot of work, but I don't think it would be very hard over 16 weeks. Prof Le was really generous with homework and test extensions and ended up dropping test 4 and having the final count for both. He would explain the concepts, show some examples, then would pull up the hw and show how to solve some of them

This is the first time that I have ever gotten an A in a math class. I worked overtime this semester to make sure I did well in statistics, and Professor Lee was very helpful. He is very funny and genuinely cares about his students and making sure they do well. All work is through the mylabmath system, which provides extra help if needed.

Professor Le is an outstanding teacher He likes to put his students first if you need more time on homework just ask him and he will open it up for you. He does have a strong accent but you won't notice it when he explains math. He tells stories in the middle of class and they are very entertaining. I am very thankful that I took this course.

He was a good professsor! He talks a lot and goes off topic from Statistics but he generally cares for his students and knows what hes talking about. I wish i went to more of his lectures because attendance means a lot to him. Loved him as a professor and would take again.

Professor Le is amazing. I cannot say that enough. He went above and beyond to work with me when I was behind to help me catch up and pass my class to graduate. He is extremely intelligent and is amazing at explaining things in a manner that made it easy for me to understand as I have always struggled with math.

This class was light work, the test reviews were the EXACT same so you just have to study for those questions. Great professor!

Donny is amazing! I took his class during summer so it was fast-paced and presence was mandatory because if you missed a class you'll probably struggle after that. I had his class Math1342 . I haven't met anyone this awesome .He use to reply on the text also whenever we need . As it was the maths we need to do some hardwork but it was worth. Don't miss it out .

I took it online and was very behind but he gave an extension past the last day to turn everything in hes great. if taken during summer he assigns videos and you watch them. He chill those tests are easy to do..
