Hufnagle is one of the best profs I have ever come in contact with. He's really big at exploring th depth of your own intellect. His class was really easy, and he's very entertaining, so therefor I learned alot!

Good teacher. No tests. Expect to write papers though. Easy to get along with. Just share your opinion, and it will be a major help for your grade. Fun teacher to have.

He is a GREAT teacher, if you go to class everyday he will help you if you need points at the end of the semester. no test. you have to keep a journal but its really fun!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED HIS CLASS! THERE ARE NO TEST BUT THERE ARE TWO QUIZZES A WEEK. THERE IS NO SEMSESTER TEST, INSTEAD YOU TURN IN A JOURNAL. ALSO THERE ARE A LOT OF PAPERS!!! OVERALL IT WAS A FUN EXPERIENCE!

Nice, funny, very passionate about writing. Expect to write at least 3 papers. He gives quizzes the first half of the semester but gets lazy afterward and stops doing them. Major grade is just proofreading your old essays and writing in a journal. Easy grade, fun class, I highly recommend him!

The BEST professor I've had! Very real, passionate, helpful, funny, and creative. He challenges you in order to bring out the writer in you. There are no test which helps you to focus on the many papers you will write. Just ask him and he will help tremendously while inducing growth in your critical thinking. Awesome dude!

Don't be scared off in the beginning, he makes the class sound difficult to weed out those not interested in participating. Read the material and write a few timed papers, he is very knowledgeable and willing to help. Do the work when it is due and participate in the discussion and you will do well.

He's strange but I didn't find this class to be difficult. We got a poetry layup to end the semester with, and a three page handwritten analysis. I didn't like it at all early until the room thinned out. He was a better instructor over ~10 humans than 25. Be prepared for lesbian poetry, vampires, "southern gothic"...and ask about the tattoos

One of the best teachers I've ever had. His class is fun and interesting, and he's actually a teacher that cares about what he's teaching, which is always nice. I'd definitely take a class taught by him again if I had the option.

I took Mr. H for a Creative Writing class! It was so much fun! I learned a lot and he is hilarious! I would definitely take another of his classes. I suppose it is true that if you don't want do your work, then it would be difficult to pass his course. However, why are you in college if you don't want to put the effort in to learn and succeed?

I would definitely take his class again! He does give out a lot of homework though but if you do your work and show up to class you will pass.

Dr. Hufnagle is hilarious! I truly enjoyed his class and would take it again. There's always a weekly assignment that's not that hard, and the major grades and final are all projects. He is extremely passionate about his job, which truly inspired me to care about this class more.

Dr. Huf is a tough grader, but totally worth the class. I wish I could take him again in Comp 2! Lectures and assignments are interesting. I missed a lot of class and still got an A. Just do the work.

I took HUMA 1301 , it was a summer class and lots of writing and projects. Class was fair , although if you plan to take this in the summer be prepared to do a lot of work. But I am an average B-C student and I did very well , he is a very fair grader and if you at least do the work , turn in the summaries YOU will pass his class no doubt.

I took him for English and Humanities and he was awesome. He makes it clear what you have to do to pass the class.

I loved having Prof. Hufnagle for Comp. II. I loved taking the class and I always thought his ideas and directions regarding the materials were extremely interesting and engaging. Initially, his formats and expectations for the papers were daunting but I felt his instructions were clear and his comments helpful. I would def take his classes again.

Mr. Hufnagle was a great teacher. I would definitely take his course again. He does give a lot of writing assignments but he gives you enough in class time to work on and complete each assignment.... I appreciated his honesty, in regard to writing feedback but if you don't like A "matter of fact" type of professor, I wouldn't recommend him.

Dr. Hufnagle was a phenomenal professor. At first, his teaching style seemed ambiguous, but there was a goal behind the ambiguity. The goal was to get students to think for themselves. I appreciated the guidance I received on each paper I completed during my time in his class. Those who are saying he is incredibly tough also have bad grammar...

I hate usually hate English classes but, Dr. Hufnagle is an awesome professor who actually makes class interesting and fun. All you have to do is show up to class and participate, do the homework, and turn in your assignments on time, and you'll get an A.

Dr.H is super chill which makes him come off as careless and un-helpful but if you just ask for assistance he's all ears, considering that he has his doctors his grading is rough and he's somewhat picky about things but he'll explain himself if you have any confusion. Although his assignments are easy don't bs them because he grades thoroughly.

Put in effort he will work with you. Great and accessible teacher. He always responded to my emails, he would work with me to think harder and outside the box, and he even exempt me from the final as i had an A the entire semester. Don't join his class unless you are willing to put in the effort, as there are papers/ assignments due every week.

I almost dropped this class at first, but then realized this class wasnt so bad. He is a very sarcastic person. At first you read articles and write a summary on each chapter the first weeks. Then, you start to get into the essays, which he lets you revise for a new grade. Follow his basic criteria for essays and you will pass.

The online class fairly seems easy. Hes very understanding and clarity of what he wants. i took him for one month it was great and if do the work you'll be okay. He also helps you if don't understand certain things, he will respond quickly as he can. I certainly will recommend hufnagle to anyone.

Professor Hufnagle taught HUMA 1301 in a unique way. He is hilarious and very kind when it comes to grading. I would recommend taking this class. The class wasn't too difficult. I would do work earlier than the actual due date especially the two final assignments. Overall great professor and class isn't too difficult.

Dr Hufnagle is a great proffessor . he has a great sense of humor and as long as you're willing to put the work in and follow his clear grading criterias, you should pass with a good grade. Do your work ahead of time and for the discussion boards, MAKE SURE you use the reading he provides in every single post and cite them. Very interesting class

As far as his online course for HUMA 1301 this summer, it consisted of 6 discussions, and peer responses for each discussion. For the major projects, those consisted of a research paper and a creative project/presentation. There is a lot of work; however, it is not difficult work. He is very lenient on his grading, as long as effort is put forth

Dr. Hufnagle is the amazing Professor i have ever taken. I took his humanity class and had lot of fun. Class was supposed to meet at tue and Thursday but he cancelled the class for Thursday so just one day in a week. Email him if you have any problem for the assignment he will surely understand it. Good grading. Was an easy A.

He was really nice, some may call him rude but trust me he is not. The best English Professor ever. I learned a lot in his class and got an A. It was nice being his student and the topics he choose for essays are phenomenal.

Dr. Hufnagle is a great professor. Out of all the online classes that I have taken thus far, he is the only one to be able to taken more of a hands on approach for his online classes. If you are needing a Humanities Credit for you degree at all, and need to taken someone. He is the man for the job, and will work work with you. if needed.

I took this class as a maymester course online and it was hands down the easiest class I've ever taken. Grade consisted of 6 discussions, peer responses, 2 annotated bibliographies, a mid term project, and a final project. I finished this class with an A+ and he is not a super hard grader! Very easy class. It consisted of discussion boards, annotated bibliographies, midterm, and final projects. He is very precise on what he wants in his discussion boards but they're not hard. He also responds to messages very quickly and is very nice. I had a good time in this class.

Hilarious, and relatable. As long as you meet the requirements of each assignment, it is easy. Follow the rubrics. Actually read the articles, although there is a lot, they are very helpful. I took this class as a hybrid so we only met on campus once a week. He canceled in person class a lot, but I felt like this whole class could have been online.

Im honestly not sure why theres bad reviews on Dr. H. Everything in this class was very straightforward and easy to understand. Discussion posts almost each week so if writing is not your thing don't take. But I loved this class, he would talk a little to get our in class discussion started but then he would let us take over and learn that way by asking questions and such. No tests just writing assignments, but he lays everything out so if you do what he asks you are set!

Dr. Hufnagle was fantastic. His lectures are very interesting and he is openminded and great with keeping students engaged. I am a Biochem major the class was fun and I like his way of teaching. Beware, there is a lot of work; discussion boards, annotated bibliographies, midterm and final projects, and the occasional in class or group project.

A lot of writing but as long as you adhere to what he's looking for it's pretty easy. He's a very interesting person and has a lot of thought-provoking topics you will discuss in class so if you enjoy that then he's definitely worth taking.

I took him for Engl 1301. It is a bit of a challenge to pinpoint the correct style of writing that will get you good A's as he does want conciseness, but after 1-2 papers its easier. He is humorous, allows time for revision and fast at replying to emails.. Overall, as long as youre good at listening and taking notes during lectures, you'll pass.

I really enjoyed Professor Hufnagle's class. His class starts a little broad but once you zero in on his assignments, it makes for a interesting and engaging class. He also encourages you to relate his teachings to media you enjoy and you can relate to. Overall he's understanding and engaging, you will do group work in class, but it's fun and easy!

I liked the way he keeps things open ended and allows for multiple interpretations of a subject.

I'm torn on this one. On the one hand, I believe what he teaches is very important and on the other hand, I sold my soul to this class. He's a very tough grader, but he also has very clear guidelines. If you follow the guidelines and put a LOT of effort in, you'll do great. When he mentions what part of an assignment you should be on, be on it.

Be prepared for a lot of reading and writing, but Prof. Hufnagle's engaging lectures and thought-provoking discussions make the workload worthwhile. Use unstuck ai and stay on top of assignments to succeed.

I took English II and Humanities with Dr. H.He is really cool. As long as you listen to what he says and do exactly what he asks for its easy grade. Be concise and follow his instructions. He is always ready to help if you are willing to learn.
