This professor has been one of my favorite educators I ever had. He was very involved, kind, understanding, and just an over all amazing guy. He has taught me so much as a student, writer, future educator, and as a young man. I hope one day everything he has been to me I can pass down to my students. I recommend this professor 100% no doubts.

Professor Ross is a great professor!! He works with you and he cares. He gave us about 4 maybe 5 papers but they were easy! Straight forwards and the longest paper was 4 pages. I definitely recommend, you wont find a better Professor. Im definitely taking about her course with him for sure!

Professor Ross only wants to see his students succeed. He definitely works with you to make sure you at least pass the class only if it is a C. He also teaches you content so he is not just going to read a PowerPoint. He will make sure you at least leave his class with something new everyday.

Most of his classes are lecture style, but he throws in group project days and some classes are specific to working on your paper. He is accessible outside of class. He posts everything you go over in class online and your biggest grade is the paper, which he helps you work on. Amazing and funny professor, would definitely take another class!

This class is almost exclusively about comprehension. You are going to be expected to read text and explain what you see within it and then build off of the lessons that the story has given you. You're going to also have to work with other students, so being quiet is almost impossible.

I was in his comparative art class, and it was honestly pretty fun. Yes, there is a textbook and he does require that occasionally you take notes out of the book as a part of your grade; however, he gives you the link to the textbook and it is free. Also, the majority of the class time is you listening to different types of music which is nice.

A good and fair professor. The level of difficulty is reasonable, with most assignments not being hard and the papers being challenging. He does not grade too harshly and gives helpful feedback. ENG1101 with Professor Ross was very enjoyable experience. I am not a fan of group projects by any means, but with the projects that we had to do within the class I had a lot of fun with my members. There were multiple assigned papers in the class, but there was plenty of guidance on the papers to have a good final product.

It starts off as a refresher for English, but as the semester progresses the course becomes more difficult. Manage your time wisely and you'll pass. He will make everyone participate in the discussions.

A very great professor! There was a variety of assignments and activities that had students engaged, so there was always something fun to do while working. If you needed anything he would always be willing to help out and work with you if there were any problems.

Professor Ross has a way of engaging students within the classroom without leaving anyone out of the conversation. The papers assigned to each individual were sought to be easy, however, it was vital to make the necessary adjustments to receive an acceptable grade.

Professor D.Ross is fun and humors. He creative and enjoys working with his students. Communication is the key and participation. He will answer any questions any of his students may have no matter what.

Professor. Ross was very explicit of how all assignments were meant to be done and if not to school standards would not grade our work. Since he was a tough grader, the class was hard, however, I enjoyed the class even though towards end of school semester there was a bigger workload and harder assignments.

Professor D. Ross is engaging and understanding. Attend class, do the work, and they'll work with you. I found Unstuckstudy great for study prep - definitely a helpful tool.

This professor was understanding and flexible, granting extensions when needed. He stayed calm even when I opened a can of SpaghettiOs barbarically with a knife in class. His grading was fair, with clear guidelines for every assignment. After 10 years out of school, I was nervous, but his encouragement and guidance made all the difference for me.

Professor Ross is very laid back and gives great lectures. He doesn't pressure you to respond to lecture questions and has great humor. He does indeed like to give out group projects. So, if you're introverted like I am he will definitely get you out your comfort zone. Overall, a very good professor.

The professor can fully express the material needed in class by reading it, breaking it down while in the process, and having stepping-stone assignments so you can fully complete the requirements for them all.

Prof. Ross is a very understanding and chill teacher who is not afraid to joke around with students. While there is a lot of work, he breaks down the assignments so they are easier to digest.

Professor Ross has been wonderful to learn from and to know as a person. I've had two classes with him so far, and both have been the best classes I've had yet. I hope I manage to get him as my professor in future, and I hope anyone else who has him enjoys the class as much as I have.

This professor guides you through the assignments in a timely manner but at times some projects can seem like they need lots of preparing for but it really is not that intimidating.

Very engaging teaching style. He will simply give you assignments so that you have grades in the system. He gives you many opportunities to have a passing grade.

Honestly, my favorite Professor this semester. Class work was not too easy but, not to challenging really allowing us to build upon the platform he created during ENGL 1101. Don't Procrastinate and you will do fine.

I want other and or incoming students that this professor isn't hard just make sure you do your work and ask any questions you have do NOT be scared.

Professor Ross is an amazing teacher. Although the course is a hard when it comes to continues writing, he makes the work load a bit easier. He makes the assignments we have to do fun and adds group projects/ creative projects to help better our knowledge. Overall 10/10 highly recommend!

Professor Ross was very clear when it came to providing clear cut instructions to his assignments. He made his classes very interesting and compelling. Some of the assignments were a bit difficult but it was mainly due to my own schedule but overall, I enjoyed taking his class and I would happily take the class again.

I enjoyed this class, he definitely took a step back and really helped with things I didn't really get taught in high school. It improved my writing a lot and I learned a lot from him as well.

This professor is good all around, he explain's the material and the assignment's clearly and he also checks up on everyone to make sure everyone is keeping up and he is a really fun teacher to have, yea he dose give out a lot of work to do at times but it is some what easy and simple assignments.

Overall, I had a good experience taking Professor Ross' class and even though I found it to be challenging at times, he was very helpful and insightful with every thing that he taught us. Professor Jackson-Ross is a very caring professor who has a clear and fair grading system. Highly recommend for people who want to take their writing to the next level. Be mindful, the course does contain a heavy amount of work, so plan accordingly.

He's really good at what he does. If you don't understand the basics, you can go back and email him and set up a meeting and get you up to basics. He's polite and understanding as long as you tell him what your problem is, and he wants you to pass. i don't even know the other English teachers and recommend him more than them.

Great Professor especially for oncoming freshman's , we were taught some things and we learned new strategies and meanings the more work the more stuff there is for us to know and I am Thankful for my professor.
