Dr. T was one of the most inspiring English teachers I have ever had. Inspite of what others may think, her grading system is not at all unfair. This is apparent because the only comments on here that are negative are the ones with grammatical errors and terrible writing skills. She is fun and enthusiastic. I highly recommend Dr. T's class!

Can't believe people say she's unfair. Teaches the basics of college writing and clear about what's passing. Her standards are no different from other English profs friends have taken. Now that I have transferred, I feel completely prepared for writing at the university level.

Im taking her class know... she is not hard but not easy she helps you and sets up the essay according to what your reading or studying at the moment and she challenges you to think for yourself. She is a good teacher. At times hard, but shes good.

Dr. T is a superb professor. She mad the material interesting, thought provoking, and vibrant. We had a guest speaker who was the author of one of the books we were assigned to read. Awesome class. If she knows your the studious type though, she grades harder and expects more from you. I was four points away from a complete hundred.

She is a very fair instructor. If you don't understand an assingment, all you have to do is ask her and she will spend time with you until you get it. One of the best Professors at PCC. Her Asian-American Lit class HAS NO TESTS! However, you have to do well on all six journals (each one is 10% of your grade, 60% total). Also, we got to meet one of the authors that we studied; his name was Andrew Lam. Overall a wonderful Professor. She even showed us Youtube videos that relate to Asian culture

She is the best English teacher I have had. She teaches you the correct way of writing a college level essay. She walks you threw everything and is always there to answer questions. If u come late 5 min any days for the project, you won't be able to get an A (that's her rule). She walks around and checks every 5 min to make sure you're working. For English 52, the course is unbelievably easy... easier than an average middle school class. Really? An elementary-level comic book for a college classroom? That's a sign of an easy A class. I expected for English 52 to be filled with novels written by Asian American authors. Anyways, Dr. T is more exciting than any other teachers.

I took Dr. T for 100 and 901. Wish I had her for 1A but couldnt fit her class wmy schedule. She's very clear on how to pass or like she says,"For an A . . . " In 901 you can miss two classes or get incomplete on two assignments. She asks for written proof if you were absent so don't mess around! Also participate every day to get those points.

Best english professor in PCC period. I had so many bad experiences from ENG 1A until I took her class for ENG 1B and ENG1C. Her class materials are full of things you will not expect to have in typical literature classes. Hard work will pay off an A regardless of your language proficiency. Amazing English professor. I had her for English 1A and 1B and I enjoyed her class all the time. Make sure to always be on time and participate in class as well. Never write says, or states on her essays because she absolutely hates that. She definitely made English a fun subject for me.

This class was definitely a unique experience and fun. She always made the class enjoyable, fun and interactive. Also, with the writing responses, she gives you a clear feedback and make sure you use signal phrases because she will mark you off for not using it. And make sure you don't miss class or your tardy, because she is strict on that.

Solid professor. If you want to get an A, you MUST show up to EVERY class on time EVERY time. Also, you should participate as much as you can in class. Class discussions are fun because she is enthusiastic about the literature. The class has three essays and are all pretty easy.

Overall, Dr. T. is a good instructor. My only complaint is that she was very anal about attendance, promptness and classroom conduct. While that does keep everyone "focused", it's a little patronizing and in my opinion, not conducive to the atmosphere of higher education. It felt a little bit like high school. But the class itself is super easy.

As a student that has moved on from PCC, I have to say that the courses that best prepared me for university level writing were Dr. T's Eng 1B and Eng 1C courses. The course materials in both courses were extremely interesting, and I especially enjoyed analyzing superheroes with a philosophical approach in 1C. I would highly recommend the course!

Honestly I did not know how to write until I took the wonderful Dr. T for three semesters. You will learn how to analyze and write because she's clear and organized, plus she gets excited when students analyze the material in new ways. She rewards creativity when you come up with catchy titles, hooks, and conclusions, and of course her projects.

Dr T is awesome. She's a total dork and she's hilarious. She made this class interesting and really fun, and you could tell that everyone loved her. The course itself was very easy, I don't think anyone got less than a B. The final was a group project, so try to make friends early on.

I am surprised that anyone would fail her classes. She's clear, organized, and helpful, a true professional. But she has a unique personality too. If you are not a slacker, she's very understanding and caring. Time flies by in her class because she's funny and encourages discussion. I love her dog stickers--find out what I mean by taking her!

Dr.T is one of the best professors to take for English 1C. If you love comic books, you'll have a blast. She really taught me how to analyze a text and she'll teach you how to analyze visual pieces too! Just don't be late or take your phone out during class.

Dr.T is AMAZING! If you have the chance to take, take her! She provides the textbook and saves you money, essays are on fun topics. She actually takes time to know every individual unlike some other professors. Thank you for everything Dr.T!

Her class is amazing! If you took her English 1A class, then you would be ready for this class! The class deals with superheroes and antiheroes! The only textbook you have to by is a $10 comic book. The class relies a lot on the discussions; so if you don't come to class, you will suffer greatly. She cares a lot about her students! BE ON TIME!

Good professor who wants you to succeed just DO NOT be late she freaks out (or be on phone in class). Lots of class discussion and group work so show up to class prepared and ready to share ideas. Provides tons of help on papers.

There are no words to describe how awesome of a professor she is. She is truly caring and wants you to do well. Go to her office hours; they're really helpful! Dr. T was soooo kind. Class was based on superheros and antiheroes. 2 essays, 1 midterm, and final group project. The only thing we read was a comic book. The final was a group paper and video super fun and easy. She created the final so EVERYONE does equal work.

Dr.T is an absolute gem. I tried to take her again for 1C and her class was full, completely understandable. She's an actual sweetheart, she cares about her students, her teaching method is easy to understand. I've recommended her to whoever will listen. Just don't be late, and don't be on your phone, she will FREAK out. Otherwise, 0 complaints.
