Great Professor, Makes difficult subject easy to understand

prof. anderson needs no book to instruct her class and needs not reference anything besides her mind. she is helpful, fun and eclectic. she makes the learning environment fun and keeps the knowledge fresh. she is fair and honest.

She is very intelligent. Her exams are challenging she wants you to know the text book and you have to write your own words making sure they are correct with no grammatical error. you know what! just study the damn text book and you will pass.

She was aight, average professor. Some of the things she said contradicted what some of my other history professors have told me. But she is good to take. She is easy is you want her to be.

She's a great teacher,one of the best at Hudson,very down to earth,funny,fun,fun and an interesting class,time seems to fly, one of the best classes I've taken.She's one of my favorite. You will love this class.

The easiest professor in HCCC so far. U can tell she really knows a lot. She has a very childish way of teaching that is not at the level of college. Does not care about attendance and class is never held for even half a period. If u want an easy a take her, if u wanna learn take someone else.

I took her several years ago. She made class fun and INTERESTING. I never liked History before and I changed my major to History because of her. I am now a secondary History teacher! I hope to someday be as good as her!

Professor Anderson is the BEST teacher that HCCC has on its staff. I have never found another teacher who knew their information like her. She teaches without books or notes in front of her but check your book! She covers every topic in complete detail. GET IN HER CLASS. But if fills up very fast so regisster early. You will definitely learn a lot!

Had professor Anderson for multiple classes. Took the second one specifically because she taught it. I have been to four colleges, she is by far the most capable and engaging professor I ever had. She even named a bansai tree of her's after me. It is simply impossible to not like her. Take her classes, all of them.

The best teacher hudson county community college took time hiring. She knows her stuff, is reasonable with her grades, and best of all never teaches out of the text book. In the begining of the class she makes you feel history before looking into it. literally...love her and her love for teaching.

She might be 'easy' but you better know your stuff. No textbooks required in class but you are expected to read at home and while you only get two papers to do these dictate your grade so they better be great. Other than that this lady is the bomb, knows her stuff, is engaging and really cares about her students.

Prof. Anderson is the best part about HCCC! Her class was awesome. She knows so much about history she makes lectures fun and interesting. I am not a fan of class but she made me look forward to it! No tests - just a paper for the midterm and final. Very enjoyable class, wish I took her for Western Civ 1. She is HILARIOUS! Even lets us out early!

Anderson is the best she really helps you and she makes history pretty amazing and I hate that subject. She is concerned with her students passing and understanding the topics, make sure you take notes it helps with midterm and final.

Makes history this huge drama where it keeps you interested and asking questions. Really makes it fun to listen, learn, and participate. You have to read, or at least know what you're talking about. If she notices the class not reading the book, she will make class 10xs worse. She's really knowledgable in her field. Great person. Genuinely cares.

Took her for US History 1, 2, and Woman in American History. Thorough knowledge about the subject. Makes lectures and classes fun and easier to learn. Must take!! You'll love her.

I had the pleasure to take Ms. Andersons class on summer 1, I loved her class & I loved her as a person. I learned so much in her class that I wanted & still want to take her for USA 102. Amazing professor. She makes history interesting, and makes you want to learn about history. Her tests are really hard though. If she asks what you want on your test never choose multiple choice. Overall amazing teacher.

Professor Anderson is hands down the BEST professor I have ever had. She is such an inspiration, we developed an out of class bond and she would push me to do more with my work and tell me I will be great in the future. One of my favorite professors. She inspired me to referred to black people as African Americans, which allowed me to have a greater appreciation for Black History Month. She is extremely intelligent, which means she will allow you to shoot questions you have at her. It helps that she has a great personality to match her level of education.

Majority of my professors at this school were a blessing. Professor Anderson is an exceptional individual. If you have to take a history course take it with her! Her work is doable. If you do your work you will pass. I had her for my last class and I was blessed. She will make you laugh which is a plus point. Overall, she is an outstanding prof.

Very funny, knows what she teaches that goes beyond the textbooks, sincere and expects students to take the curriculum as seriously as well. Very fair on grading and expects you to put in effort and ask for help in need. Plagiarizing is not tolerated. Respect her as a professor and it will be given back. One of the most genuine professors at HCCC.

Prof. Anderson had some great lectures, interesting life experiences, she feels passionately about history and she wants you to feel that way as well. If you read the chapters you should be fine when taking the tests. No writing responses on her tests,multiple choice.

A wonderful and caring professor. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her job. Very zany and not afraid to get on your case, but in a very motherly way. Loves her students and will absolutely encourage you if you need to speak one-on-one. 10/10, would take again.

I love Professor D, she gives you plenty of time to complete tests (only 4). She is hilarious and will make you laugh "for real, for real". I would definitely take her again and I praise her for being real. She makes sure class isn't boring and knows how to keep you up and laughing. 100% recommend. Will miss her when I graduate :(

Took HIS210 & HIS211Hon with Prof. Anderson way back in 2008. Everything everyone is saying is 100% true. EVERY student loves her. I dont know why there is one 3 star rating, but I'd like to talk to that person in the parking lot. One time, in HIS211Hon, in a 6pm-845pm class with 24 students, not a single one of us noticed that it was 9:15pm.

Prof Anderson is an amazing educator, and I'm grateful to have taken her class at HCCC. As a non-traditional student, I learned a great deal from her. She is very funny, and although she sometimes comes off a little cold, it's clear she cares about her students. There are no assignments; grades are based on your participation and four tests. 10/10!
