Nice teacher but never lets out early. Somtimes annoying but good teacher

Nice teacher but is weird with grading. She doesn't like to give you an "a" even if you deserve it. Never lets you out early and will even make assignments up to keep you there the whole time.

Take her if you want an easy A. She talks all class, but you do no work... ONLY 1 research paper. Super easy & nice kind of spacey... She dresses very weird though!

Very nice, very helpful, very knowledgable. Infact, she goes out of her way to help her students pass the class. This is one teacher who cares about her students, and what she's teaching them.

Good Prof

Easiest english teacher there is. Although will find errors on your papers even when there aren't any. But she gives you chances to rewrite them. She goes over the entire quiz she's giving (questions and answers) the class meeting before.

Who wouldn't love Mrs. Charron. Yes she can be a lil out there at times but she's a great teacher. She has a wonderful personality and she will always find a way to help you make a better grade. I would take any class possible with her. Even tho she isn't the easiest grader she's still great.

I thought she was nice. She was often pretty involved in my papers too which is nice. I like to have more feed back than just a good job and a number grade and she took the time to run through my paper.

This professor was very fair. I would recommend her to any friends.Just make sure you attend her class, she does'nt like for you to miss any class and you'll be good to go. Easy A

I had to take reading II before comp 1 and she made it so easy for me. She is the most nice and practical teacher I have ever had. She will baby sit you through every paper and is very considerate and understanding. She isn't hard on tarties and will let you go to her other class on other days if you can't make it or if you missed the class.

This class was at the east campus, Nice prfoessor good class, the assignments where a nothing hard at all. If you have somthing wrong with your paper she will show you everything that you did wrong and then make you do it again for a better grade. Final was easy to pass, on computer, TAKE THIS CLASS FOR ENG1101, EASY CLASS NO LIE!

Ms. Charron's class was very easy. There was virtually no homework. BUT she grades hard. I never once got an A on my papers, even on the rewrites. I'm not taking her for 1102.

I took Ms. Charron fro 1101, and she was a great teacher, sweetest lady ever. But, now i am in an 1102 class and i dont feel as prepared as some of the other people in the class. If you can get her for 1102, than take her for 1101. I passed her class wiht an A, with very little to no home work. She was always happy, great lady.

Take her! Shes awesome. SHe gives you the chance to rewrite any paper. Shes patient, funny, and very blonde!! (Ditzy)!! But shes cool and its an easy class!

Very easy teacher. I took her for COMP I and II because of this. Got an A both times. Lets you rewrite papers to raise your grade. She can be boring but its not too bad. She makes the class very easy and a research paper must be done in COMP II but she makes that very very easy also. Take her for an easy grade. Not final in COMP II

I took her for 1102 and she a great teacher. Hardly any homework. When given any, it was nothing drastic. Highly recommend. You are able to redo your essays for a better grade. If you do not understand something, she more than happy to help. Not a harsh teacher whatsoever. You get light work, but she explains everything in her lectures Take in 1102

I took Mrs. Charron for both 1101 and 1102. She's a good teacher and is extremely easy. No homework, quizes/tests, etc. The only homework there is are essay's, no biggie. You can redo essays for a better grade, and late work usually isn't a problem. She doesn't mind taking time to talk with you, which is always a plus. : )

I have her now for 1101, the class was far easier than I expected it to be. Some essays and paragraphs and stuff like that, but for the most part not much homework or classwork. sometimes its hard to pay attention to her lectures but I have ADD lol. Shes very helpful and very friendly, shes a great teacher and I plan on taking her again for 1102.

I took her for english 1101. It was beyond easy. I was expecting a ton of essays to do. I did two essays outside of class and both of them were optional rewrites. NO homework outside of class, short paragraph essays in class. She is a little out of the ordinary and slightly boring but I would recommend her to anyone because it is an easy A.

Super easy class, all you have to know how to do is write a decent paper. She lets you redo all papers for a better grade. Final is reflective essay. 6 grades (all papers). One research paper. No quizzes or tests. Just participate in the discussions and you're good. She understands this is not the only class that you are taking.

Yes, the class was super easy, and all you have to do is a short paragraph at the end of the class and you can leave. But for some reason the teacher was so boring like i didn't want to listen to her talk. Just tell me what i need to write so i can leave....

Took her for comp I&II. got an A both times, can be a tough grader but you can revise most everything... nothing more than 2 pages ever except for the research paper in comp II (even that I got an A having only 5 pages) Grades on content not length.

Ms. Charron was very nice to everyone in the class. Although at times the class was very disrespectful to her, she still managed to put on a smile and help everyone. She never demanded much from the class. Afterall, it is a english clas. It's expected of you to write something. Overall, I took her 1101 and 1102 class and I passed with no problems.

I recommend her just because she is approachable and pretty easy. She may be a little boring and/or be kind of flaky but she's pretty easy to pass. Just write an paragraph to leave the class, and only 6 graded papers in one semester. take her! =]

Ms. Charron is a great teacher overall!! She will always help you if you need it. The essay topics are something that you care about and she lets you rewrite if you are not satisfied with your grade. She gives lots of extra points and is so nice!She also throws a few movies in there. She also dresses beautifully.I am taking her again next semester!

SO BORING. you learn all about poetry, but theres no test on it, so there is no point to be bored to death. Shes a nice lady, but when she grades the papers, you get torn apart. last enc course i was getting all As, now i get Cs. the only way to improve your grade is if you meet up with her after class at the lab. remember, she is so boringgggg

I took her for 1101 as well. Great teacher seems easy with the movies and extra credit. but shes a tough grader (especially in 1102). Tests are harder than they would appear and shes crazy with the marker on your essays. Dont miss class! It cost me my A this semester. Buy your book and bring it to class.

Nice lady, however, She grades papers EXTREMELY strict. She finds things that u didnt even know was there. Tests are ridiculous! They are easy and usually based on ur opinion, but the way she grades them is based on HER opinion! Pray she makes u write an essay instead!Gives u many chances to rewrite and is a bit too nice on deadlines. Love her tho

She was an okay teacher. Pretty strict on attendance. She was tough on grading papers and was marker happy. But she let you re-write your paper for a better grade all the time. The papers weren't too hard if you paid attention.

She gets pissed if you are late or walk out to go to the restroom. She drops you on your 4th absence. She does grade very strict!! I've always been told I'm good at writing, but never made over a 85 on her papers. She lets you rewrite them-but only gives you like +2 extra percent points. She's alright. Not taking her for ENC1102 though.

Class=easy. Graded on attendance, homework n class assignments, n 5 top essays. Attendance=go to class everyday. Assignments are to be done; I think she grades on completion. As for rewrites, she FIXES UR GRAMMAR MISTAKES FOR YOU! Rewrite it WITH HER CORRECTIONS for a guaranteed B or A depending on ur content. I suck at writing and I got an A.

amazing!!! she does hate cellphones but what teacher doesn't? she does get marker happy on your essays but it is not necessarily to reduce points... it is also to help you out if you want to rewrite your paper ( you can rewrite all of your papers) she is amazing and really was fun to be around!!!

I had her for comp 1 and comp 2. Comp 1 she doesn't give homework. comp 2 she does a little. She shows lots of movies and gives you alot of time to turn in papers.1 5 page paper she gave us over a month. She takes points off if you are late and she WILL withdraw you if you miss 3 classes. she give u the option to go to any of her othe other classes

She's a very sweet lady... marks up papers a lot, but always gives opportunities to rewrite. Tip: when you rewrite, ALWAYS use her changes (even if they don't make sense). Attendance is mandatory - don't take her if you tend to skip classes. All in all though she's not difficult - this class was an easy A for me.

She is a hard grader. But she is a good teacher, she let's you rewrite your paper and she can help you re write them in her office. If you do all of the extra credit assignments and go to class everyday and rewrite all of her papers, You are going to be ok!

She is very strict on attendance! NO CELL PHONES! She lets you re-write papers and she is pretty ok about being tardy but the best part is she lets you attend her other classes if you cant make yours. Its not bad if you do the work. and what she wears is always fun.

Professor Charron is a good professor. A little hard when it comes to grading, but she gives tons of extra credit. English is my second language but with a lot of effort I manage to get A's in both of her classes. ENC 1101, and ENC 1102. So its not impossible. If I did it, you can do it too! Take Her

Professor Charron is amazing!If you don't take her something is truly wrong with you! I went from a 68 to 91. She gives out so much extra credit its unbelievable!Take her you will not regret it!

Ms. Charron was Fantastic. She helped me with every paper that I wrote. She gives extra credit for attending the writing center and doing the workshops. Tests are easy; however,you have to write at a COLLEGE level. I will be taking her again, for ENC 1102. I would definantely recommend her for ENC 1101.

She is a good professor and she is nice. Do not get on her bad side. People got withdrawn for bad attendance. Some also received 0's for having their cell phone out. She is helpful, and lets you rewrite papers for a separate grade. Basically, to get an A, be nice, listen carefully, rewrite your essays exactly as she marks them, and attend class.

SO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT!!!!!! I have never been good at writing. She is nice, easy to talk to. I had a C close to the end of the semester, but I did all of the extra credit throughout the semester and got a 98%!!!!! Do the extra credit people!!!! EASY extra credit too!!!

Show up to class, do the extra credit throughout the semester, write papers that are simple and to the point. It is a very easy class to get an A in.

She's a very sweet lady and her class is pretty easy. She does however demand a lot. Like all assignments must be completed and you must visit her office at least once. No cellphones and attendance is mandatory. Countless extra credit given all I had to do was write ONE paragraph for her final. Good class overall

She is a bit strict with essays (grammar, punctuation, etc), but any competent student should not have a problem. She gets irritated when you miss classes, arrive late, and get up during lectures, which is understandable. She is very clear about what she wants; it's impossible to fail this class unless you're an illiterate moron.

Charron is tough and stands strong with her attendance policy, but her class is significantly easier than it seems. English classes tend to be the most difficult for but she made is interesting and not boring. Watching Hitchcock films is also regardless of the paper that is due afterword. No complaints.

I really enjoyed this class. Professor Charron is strict and at times, often seems really flustered, but she is a nice woman and pretty funny at times. Although she is strict with attendance and how she marks papers, the class is pretty easy. You will use the text book a lot and she is usually more than willing to help you with your mistakes.

Professor Charron is a nice lady who makes her class interactive. There are a lot of times when we worked with others in a group and at the end she makes you do a group research paper. The textbooks are used a lot and a huge percentage of your final is essays and attendance. BE IN CLASS! But other than that, great prefessor, recommended to anyone.

Very helpful professor, but this class is no walk in the park. She is very particular on how she wants essays written as well as using the textbook. Pay attention, don't be lazy and you will do fine :)

Ok. This class is super easy. All you really need to pass is the 2 books, attendance, don't use your phone and extra credit. Before a paper is due, i recommned that you go to her so she can edit it. Follow her corrections and you'll get an A. Great teacher!!

Professor Charron is a great Professor, she is so sweet and helpful. Yea, there are those times when she seemed a little out there; but I that's no reason to judge her. I highly reccomend her class. Also don't use cell phones. She hates it, but I mean as a college student it's kind of common sense not to be disruptive. We're in college people!

This is an easy class to pass with an A as long as you go and pay attention. Have her look over your essays before they are due and she will correct your mistakes. Also do the extra credit she offers throughout the semester it is SUPER easy and it makes a difference to your grade.

This teacher is a really easy teacher to get along with as long as you do your work, and pay attention. Do not text in class, she hates it. Bring your book she uses it. She is strict on her grammer but use the writing lab, very usefull. A lot of extra credit is offered.

class is somewhat easy, but teacher is really boring. no big papers, just a few essays that are about a page to two pages long the most. If you don't like to write take her. If you want a teacher that is enthusiastic and won't bore you to sleep, don't take her.

If you follow her directions it is really easy as she lets you re edit anything you did wrong. I don't recommend her though because the class was extremely boring and even though I received an A it didn't feel worth my time.

She is a nice person but, she can make you feel stupid some times. She grades really tough. If you put a lot of work & effort you should be alright. Warning, she HATES cell phone use & will call you out on it.

Proffessor Charron is extremely passionate about the subject she teaches, which is refreshing. I think she is a bit of a tough grader, but I think it really helps improve your writing.I'd definitely recommend her. She's not an easy 'a', but your writing will definitely improve with her critics.

I took professor charron for developmental and eng 1 she's very laid back just attend class and do the extra point to your avg it will make a difference at the end.

Sweet old lady, need text book, no tests, assigns papers but they aren't hard, just make sure you turn in papers on time or half credit will be taken off, no cell phone use but you can probably get away with it if you're good at hiding lol

Attendance is mandetory. She makes this class easy and fun! Participate and you can pass with an easy A. I highly recommend this instructor.

She is easy to understand and makes sure everyone understands what is discussed in class. Easy A class assignments. NO HOMEWORK. She even gives chance to work on your papers in class. Also, i had incidents where i couldn't make it to class and she gave me the opportunity to make it up by attending another class or just seeing her in her office hrs.

Tough, but sweet. Fashion conscious and looks really young. Loves to travel and tells us all about it, making class so fun!

She is amazing. Many students doesn't like her because she is strict and very to the point. I took ENC 1101 and 2 with her. I learn a lot about writing essays, she really cares and also she provides assistance with her student leaders. If you go to tutorings and you work hard you will get the grade you deserve.

i really enjoyed prof. Charron's classnice and cool teacher. Makes you feel like you really matter when you're working with her. i had to show up to class enough cuz we do a lot of graded work in class. Glad she gets grades back on canvas and in class so good prof.

Professor Charrons lectures are easy and clear to understand and follow. If you try in her class (and not just bs it), you get what you should get for a grade. I wanna take her for ENC 1102!

Prof Charron is awesome! She is helpful and works with you throughout the semester. Knows what she's talking about definitely, and always sticks with one topic at a time clearly in class. take her!

Most of her grading are based upon in class mini assignment but her heavy grading is on Research Papers. Show up to class do the work and there is no reason you should fail.

Super easy class. If you have basic English skills you can pass with an easy A+.

this class is very easy. watch movies, read poems and only 3 papers that are very easy to do. all work is done in class and she keeps up with the grades weekly only thing outside of class would be the essays. no reason to not pass this class. you must go to class there are ways to make up the days you miss but if you don't your grade will go down!

One of the easiest comp classes I have ever taken. Would recommend to anyone looking to breeze through a comp class.

PROS: -Only 2 big essays to write throughout the semester. -We watched 3 movies and read a lot of cool poems and short stories, which was nice. CONS: -Her idea of MLA citations is completely different from what the MLA style guide on Valencia's Atlas says to do; get ready to learn a botched version of MLA

Really nice professor! Don't annoy her or you won't have a good time. Very strict grader, no paper is ever a 100% but easy to get an A overall just show up!
