I highly recommend Professor Dorothy Easley. She is one of the best and helpful professors at BCC. You have to dedicate and do homework and you do fine.

She is very easy to understand and she explains things thoroughly. There is quite a bit of exercise work but as long as you pace yourself it's very manageable. Plus she gives you outside worksheets that add points to your test grade, and she's always giving extra points for those who attend math workshops. Well worth it if you need the points.

It is impossible to fail her class. You really have to be stupid not to get an A. She gives you so many chances and extra credit. My only problem were with the idiots in the class because she wont move on the next topic until everyone understands what she just showed you.

Her tests aren't multiple choice, but the questions aren't too complicated, just a few from each section to make sure you understand. There is a decent amount of homework, but she rarely grades it, and practice makes perfect. Also, I'm absent at least 2/4 days of the week (weakened immune system) and I got A+'s on her test and I suck at math.

The clearest Int. Algebra teacher BC has yet. She has a coy attitude but, she teaches in a way so that you will finally understand math. Drop by her office during hours and she will be MORE than glad to help you until you understand the material. She's worth it guys, just learn to crack open the book and do the work for once.

I hate math and needed an easy class to take. She is funny and helpful. Her handwriting is horrible and she moves fast. I only put makes you work for it because it's math. Unless you're good at it, you have to work for it. I'm not good at math, but she's totally willing to help you. Just show up, do the work, and she'll help you in any way she can. She offers extra credit and she curves grades. If you aren't good at math, take her. I would definitely take her again.

I like her teaching style because she goes step-by-step and goes into full detail if you ask. She's a very fast-paced teacher so you'll need to write fast to keep up. Don't really need to open textbook; her notes are very clear and useful.

Pretty good professor if you don't get anything you are more welcome to go to her office hours, at first i struggle hard failed both test, she allowed a retake for the first one and then put the average grade of both tests for example is you get a 50 for the first one then a 100 for the retake your overall grade for test one would 75. Professor Easley is the absolute BEST math instructor I've ever had. I use to love math in middle school (where I got my credits for Alg & Geo). Professor Easley was a great math teacher. During lessons, she provided great examples and gave lots of opportunities to earn extra credit points. Although, she gave lots of hw, it helped prepare me a lot on the test. An extra bonus is that she allows students to redo hw questions an unlimited amount of times until that student receives a 100%.

I took her intermidiate algebra class (mat1033). At first I did horribly on the first 2 exams she had this thing where she would give you a review and if you get every answer right on it (you must show work) she will let you retake the first test and then combine whatever grade you get in it with the very first test you took and divide both by 2.

Prof. Easley is most definitely, by far the BEST!! Math teacher I've ever had in my life. I was extremely nervous about the class because math was never my strong suit, but I can honestly say I'm a better math student because of her clarity and detailed teaching. I highly recommend her, I'm currently taking her for MAC1105. She's amazing!

I took her class in the summer of 2016 and even though it was a four hour class once a week it was still worth it. Whenever I would email her she emailed me right back as well as any questions I had she answered them. I'm horrible at math but because of her I got an A in that class. She is definitely a professor I would love to take again.

If you do not like MAT 1033/MAC 1105 blended/fast track then this is the prof for you. She will answer ALL your questions without making you feel stupid for asking. She responds to emails in a timely manner and gives extra credit left and right. I took her for MAT 1033 and taking her now for MAC 1105. I wish she was teaching MAC 1114/MAC 1140.

Professor Easley is extremely caring and understanding. If you don't understand something, don't worry because she'll break it down for you by going over all the steps, even the easy ones, when working out a problem. If you are not good in math, this is the professor for you. Ive taken her for MAT0057, MAT1033, and MAC1105. She is absolutely amazing at teaching. She makes difficult concepts seem like a breeze. So sad shes not teaching STA1001, but hopefully I can take her for STA2023.

It is kinda funny that the students who are not prepared and don't want to work don't like her. The students who are prepared and want to learn, do their work and love her. She teaches really well and gives good examples as well as lots of tricks. I think she is just the best teacher I have had so far!!!

Her class was extremely fair. She is such a sweet lady! Just pay attention and do all your homeworks and youll pass. She is accesible outside of class and willing to help. She also offers extra credit that brought my grade from a low B to a High A. Take her! Its not an easy A but its worth your money b/c youll learn and love statistics :)

Professor Easley is the best math teacher I've ever had. She explains concepts so well and is especially patient. She constantly reviews material and provides lots of opportunities for extra credit. I'd been out of school for 10 years and failed my math classes in high school; I passed her class with nearly a 100%. I highly recommend her!

I loved her class so much shes an amazing teacher . I hated math I still kinda do but she made me hate it a little less . If you just do the homework everyday and practice you will pass the class with a high grade . If you skip her class you will miss a lot of stuff and she gives test reviews before the test and answers questions

She is amazing, she is so helpful outside of class if you don't understand the subject she will help you. study her test reviews and do the homework on time you will pass the class. I am extremely bad at math but with her, she made everything easy.

Professor Easley is one of the best teachers I've ever had. I've had her for both MAT1033/MAC1105 this semester & plan on taking her again in the fall for MGF1106. Even though both were 8 week classes, she certainly makes it doable. Keep up with the online work, take advantage of every extra credit opportunity, go to class each day and youll be ok.

Easiest class I've ever taken. I took it for dual enrollment and it did not cause me any problems, as long as you study, show up to class and pay attention, you'll pass.

She's a great professor. I'd definitely take her for my other math courses in the future. She can also go kinda fast during lectures but if you tell her to slow down she will. Also, she gives extra credit. I say even if youre doing well in her class still do the extra work because it helps with your grade in the end.

She knows her stuff. She can go a little too fast, but she is always there to help if you have a question. I suck at math and passed with an A. Just do the homework (which helps a lot), pay attention in class and you will be fine. I would take her again.

This is first time I have received an A in a math course. She is a really nice woman, and if you show up for class and take good notes, the rest is easy. There are many extra credit opportunities and the homework grade will boost your grade by a lot! She is always willing to help, even during office hours. If you put in the effort, you'll pass.

Professor Easley is amazing, she cares about her students. Due to the COVID pandemic, we went fully online and she managed everything perfectly. Her grading criteria is clear, do your work, the labs, and go to class and you will pass! She gives you extra credit opportunities. No book required. I would take her again!

Professor Easley is sooo nice! She is the first professor I am willing to vote for. She will give extra credit if you get less that 75% of your grade. Also she will extend the due date of all assignments at the end of the class, to make sure you have a good grade. She explains the questions very patiently until you understand it. Go take her!!

Do your homework and take notes on it! It'll help you practice and understand the material. Print out everything she asks for such as her packet, formulas, and tables. It'll make it much easier for you if you are able to. She is patient and kind, don't hesitate to ask her questions in or outside of class. She loves when you participate.

Professor Easley was by far one of the best statistics professors I ever had. She truly loves what she teaches. She gives you all the resources and walks you through it. All you need to do is be on top of the homework and classwork quizzes, study for the tests, and do the extra credit when she gives it. I would totally take her class all over!!

Please take her! I took her for two courses so far and she' amazing. I've never been good at math and she' very patient and very detailed. Super sweet and has compassion to all her students. Just communicate with her and she will assist. Workload is average quizzes hw tests! do them all and you'll pass! Wish I could taken her in a classroom setting

Best stats prof! She is so nice and patient with her students, don't be shy to ask for help! Your main work will be Pearson quizzes during class. Also she provides useful notes for tests :)

Absolutely LOVED Professor Easley. I took her in Fall & in Spring. She uses Pearson for all the work. Exams are almost identical to HW and Classwork quizzes. She gives very thorough explanations and gives all the notes to print out for her class the first day. Nothing proctored, everything open book. Passed with an A both times! Gives ExtraCredit!

I took Professor Easley for College Algebra and honestly it wasn't that bad. She explained well, however very quickly so you may need to stay for office hours to ask her a few questions. There is homework and it may seem like a lot but it helps sooo much - great practice! And the homework is a lot like the tests!

Best instructor Ive had in my life. She is amazing at what she does and I guarantee that you will learn. Try not to miss class as you will feel really lost in the next. Tests are always on what was taught and she gives test reviews. Lots of homework though but its worthwhile. You can visit her in her office and she is always willing to help.

Overall Professor Easley is a really great teacher. The only reason I got the grade I was because i got a little lazy towards the end and didn't do my hw. If you want to pass the class all you have to do is do her hw assignments and practice the lessons. I used to hate algebra but she made it really easy. As long as you pay attention you'll be good

She is a very good professor. If she makes a mistake on the board and students correct her she will give extra points and add them to the tests. The only thing is that if you are bad at math, don't take her because she goes very fast. She would slow down if you ask her but is if she is rushing all the time. I took her for MAC2233

Overall this professor is outstanding and has my respect. The only thing I will say is that she is quick in pace at times but will stop to let you finish writing the work down if you ask. At the time of this rating, there are only 4 total tests and some homework assignments corresponding to the days lesson due at the end of the month.

Great Professor, she is passionate about math, you will learn if you pay attention she moves pretty fast however it is a lot of topics to cover in a short period of time. She has outside office hours where students are free to get some tutoring from her, she also gives out extra credit to boast your grade i 100% recommend taking her class !

AMAZING!! She was the best professor I have ever had at BC. She is very well organized, and does a section a day with notes that you can print out. She really cares about her students and has many office hours so it is easy to get help outside of class and the help is amazing. she's a great teacher she takes attendance every day a lot homework on ALEKS her class was the best, test after each chapter overall her tests are not hard but you need to study.

TEACHES GREAT! I barely never studied and still passed every test because she teaches so good! I woke up late for the final and missed it but still passed the class. She did learning activities so you have to be present in class to receive the grade or do it at home and show her.

Get ready to spend hours on Aleks. Great professor overall. Very caring and understanding. Looks out for your grade. She does lessons everyday so make sure you find a friend to send you the material if you missed a class. I would 100% take her again.

She's great! I suck at math and she actually explained it in an easy-to-understand way. She gives outside work that counts towards her tests go to her office hours to get it done for 100% and it will help you do good on the test. She gives so much extra credit too. If you do the work you will pass she's a great, kind, and caring professor.

She's a great statistics professor, but you have to attend all the classes and stay on top of the homework for it to make sense. She also gives extra credit if you turn in notes filled at the end of the semester. She also gives a great test review, and is very helpful when you go to her office hours. She's very patient and wants everyone to pass.

She teaches pretty fast but if you follow along and pay attention she makes sure you understand the concepts. She gives study guides that are similar to the tests and goes over them. Would take again easy class

She is a great professor. She is teaches her material very thoroughly and allows you ample time to complete homework. Lots of extra credit. Always has office hours and always willing to help. She has five Unit tests, all homework due the night before the test. If you want to pass MAC1105C, would 100% recommend Professor Dorothy.

Professor Easley is a great professor who implements ways to make her students succeed. She teaches fast but she does have office hours five days a week at different times. In addition to this, I also made a lot of tutoring appointments at the Math lab to be successful in this course. She offers a lot of extra credit opportunities too. I a PROOF.

The professor make sure that you understand each and every concepts. She gives extra help if you need it during office hours. She explains everything in a way that you can remember it.

I loved her.Iam BAD at math and I was terrified to take her class but she made it easy to understand and was very helpful. Go to her office hours- they will be filled but she makes time for every student! I had family issues the last two weeks of class; I let her know and she did everything in her power to help. Got a B in the class She's the best.

She was actually extremely nice but she is a fast teacher and the majority of your grade is based on how you do on the tests. The tests are worth 200 points EACH. She does give you a lot of time to complete the homework but for the homework being like 5-7 different assignments in one chapter and only worth 200 points overall is crazy.

HW & classwork every day. Each is worth 10pts but the tests are 100pts. So be careful. She is an amazing teacher but if you suck at math you might fall behind. Go to her office hours for extra help!!!!!! She does open up assignments & lets you make up missed work. She is super sweet & really passionate about math. DONT BE SCARED TO ASK FOR HELP!!!!

She was AWESOME. I failed this course once, I retook it with her and she made my life 1000 times easier. She sometimes gave extra credit, always answers your questions and responds to emails. We get classwork on top of HW but if you show up she gives you points for completing it. She provides her own study guides on top of the study guide on ALEX.

Professor Easley is a fast-paced but helpful instructor. Attend class, do the homework, and utilize the math lab and office hours to succeed. The tests are challenging, but the extra credit opportunities and Unstuck study ai can give you a boost. Overall, a rewarding course if you put in the work.

She is a great professor and part of the testing committee, so she really knows what's going to be on the exams. A lot of extra credit, a minimum of 5 points of extra credit per test, and attendance can also be missed, and you can still receive grades. Very flexible and understanding. Def recommend 100%

Professor Easley is an amazing teacher! Everything is fast-paced, but if you pay attention and do all homework on time, you should be fine. She gives extra credit, hosts test reviews outside of class, and is easy to reach outside of class. As a student, you just need to do your part, and you will be fine. I completely recommend it!

If I had not taken 15 credits, I would have aced her class but since I did, I got a C. She gives TONS of extra credit, just do your part and you'll see how easy you get an A. She makes MAC1105C fun!

This is my second time taking this class but with a different professor and I passed! I was never great in math however with Easley's organized grading and teaching it was very helpful and I was able to learn and get good grades. Definitely recommend.

Her teaching style's good. She gives many opportunities for extra credit. I believe you can get a B or A. I didn't as I was taking it along with other courses and all the work just accumulated. I'll take her again for Statistics as I know she won't leave me at my mercy to figure things out. She likes to make sure you understand and is also funny.

Your whole grade depends entirely on how u do on the test. She makes the test easy by allowing a formula sheet. Small percentage of ur test grade is based on work done by yourself. Genuinely a very easy class if u pay attention, actually do the homework and don't cheat, and study for the test. Go to her office hours if u wanna pass!!!

I unfortunately withdrew from her class because I was beyond overwhelmed. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW the material YOU WILL NOT PASS! this, and like any other math course is fast paced where you're required to learn 3 units in about 2 weeks and take the test. Tests are worth over half of your grade being 52% get ready to study countless nights if needed.

She is very caring about her students, always went to her office hours and never made me feel dumb. Got 100's because of her.

I had her this semester in the morning and she was always in a good mood. She would always make jokes and was overall very sweet. She does have a lot of tests but barely any homework. Personally I am not the best at math but I did get multiple As on my tests because she is very thorough when it comes to lecturing.

This professor is really amazing. She is nice, teaches well, and makes sure that the students understand. The note worksheets are easy and so is the homework but that can be time consuming. Apart from that she's an amazing teacher to have if you don't have a thing for Math. Would 100% recommend.
