Honestly, this class is not as easy as everyone makes it out to be. It doesn't take much work to do well, but some of her test questions seem to come out of nowhere (especially on the final). You don't have to attend class very much (EXCEPT YOU NEED TO GO FOR IN CLASS SPEAKERS). Not a hard class- putting in a little effort goes a long way!

Easy class if you attend lecture and take extra notes aside from the powerpoints. Textbook is not mandatory but recommended if you do not plan on attending class. Class consists of three tests and a handful of guest speakers that you have to attend in order to get the full points. Very easy class and she is a sweet professor!

Excellent professor to take for any KIN courses. Easy going, shows clear grading criteria, and makes an effort to make class entertaining. Brings in guest speakers for easy grades. For her tests, just take notes and class and study for a few hours and her tests are easy. Taking her again next semester, I highly recommend her.

such a sweet prof!!! I had a family emergency and could not make it to a mandatory attendance day, and she let me make it up. KIN2501 is so interesting, and you can tell she has a ton of passion for the subject.

Dr. Jacobsen was a ALRIGHT professor, took her during the summer online. All her grades are 2 tests, not proctored, and 13-14 guest speaker. She dosen't accept late work so make sure to turn it in on time, she dosen't take excuses. Grades easily. Would recommend for a easy A

She honestly made a history course actually interesting to me. I've never been a fan of history but she made the lectures funny and actually relatable to the present day. She also used to be a baller in the good'ole days which makes her cooler than other professors

I absolutely loved this class. We have several guest speakers who come and share their journey to their careers in sports. We also get students who have completed the KIN 4835 internship course to come and talk about their experience and what they learned. The assignments are not hard at all and really benefit your professional development.

this class is only lectures, tests, and guest speakers that attendance is mandatory for. The class itself is really easy but 40% of what is on the test is not on the slides and is strictly in lecture so it's super helpful to go to the lectures to get all the content.

only went to class for guest speakers. I used quizlets to study, you actually do have to know the material well in order to do well on the tests as there are very minute details in the wording of questions that may switch the answer.

Overall an easy class. Attendance isn't mandatory, however, a lot of the things she says in the lectures are on the test. You can find a decent amount of quizlets for her course but the test questions are specific and sometimes based on what she says in class. The only time attendance is mandatory is during guest speakers.

Dee is amazing, I love her so much. Even in a giant 400 person lecture hall she can make it seem like she's talking directly to you. Exam questions come mainly from her lectures, would def go to class, even tho attendance isn't mandatory. For a sports lover me, I found the lectures quite enthralling and loved this class. 10000/10.

Dee was a decent professor and I honestly liked her. I'm glad this class is splitting off based on concentration, because I have no idea how anything I learned in this class was applicable to the rest of my Kinesiology degree, though. That being said, It was a pretty easy class. No other complaints.

Dr. Jacobsen is an amazing teacher. She is very open to class discussions. She tells you exactly what to study on power points for tests. Go to class because she will give bonus points for in-class participation or group activities. Absolutely loved having her as a professor!

Dee is the best professor in Sports Administration at LSU. This was my 2nd course taken under her (KIN 2501). This course is purely just internship-based. Based on your company's reviews of your performance. Easy A+ if you have an internship. She communicates well and is always kind and informative.
