This professor is HORRIBLE DO NOT TAKE HER. The worst part is she is always yelling for no reason. She does not know what is going on in class until the week after the experiment is over. She does not even know what experiment is being done each week. Also tells you that you are doing something right and then when it isn't she grades you down.

Chem is not easy, but she makes it easy. She breaks it down to you as if you were an idiot, and still surprised how people can't comprehend it. Yes she's loud but funny at times. Her tests. Per 1 or 2 chpts she gives you a quiz and then an exam on about 5 chpts. Very helpful and even leaneant at times. Chem not easy, the book explains it clearly.

Dr.Graff is a very good at explaining material but she doesn't always explain it so you usually have to go to her office hours or on campus tutoring to get explanations. You will probably hate her for being rude and annoying, but if you pay attention and do what she tells you her style will work. She also gives tons of extra credit for her 3 exams.

You will learn more in this chem class than any other chem class you've taken so far, but only if you apply yourself. She isn't the nicest professor, but she will make you learn. Apply yourself and this class is pretty easy and you will come out of it with a good understanding of chemistry. I recommend her but you don't have much of a choice.

Dr. Nguyen-Graff is a one of a kind teacher. Her style of teaching is unique and in order to pass her class you need to understand what she wants from you regarding each topic in the class. She is straight forward and gives extra credit to help boost your grade if you don't do so well on the exams.

She has a very strong personality; she's very straightforward and a bit intimidating but passionate about science. Studying is important because she doesn't like to lecture, and she'll have you figure out the problems independently or with your groups for most of the class time. Other than that, I really like how she teaches and explains things.

I enjoyed her class a lot because she is an upbeat person and her lectures were interesting to listen to. I learned so much and the SI was helpful. She basically spoon feeds 90% of the material to you which is through her vids and workbook and the rest you just have to practice to get the hang of. She does go off topic a lot which was annoying.

Dr. Graff is a great and passionate professor. If you're someone who tends to slack off and wants to do the bare minimum in a class, this is not the class for you. Dr. Graff makes sure that everyone in the class is participating. The workbook she gives is where most work will be done and it's a great tool to reference while studying.

She does a very solid job at making chemistry digestible to someone like me who did not understand a lick of chemistry. If you want to pass this class YOU NEED TO PRACTICE THE MATERIAL. I suggest another notebook to pair with the one she provides. Not as approachable as I'd prefer. TAKE TIME TO REVIEW THE MATERIAL. You will be fine.

She is a great teacher who is very knowledgeable about what she is teaching. Except she doesn't put any effort into ACTUALLY teaching, she just rambles on about how you won't pass the class if we don't do this or that. If instead of lecturing on how we were gonna fail the class, she actually taught us chemistry, it would be so easy to pass.

Dislike this professor with a passion, I feel like the 5s on here are the student helpers she has submitting fake reviews. Shes not easy to talk to, has a very aggressive attitude. Said she is not in a good mood because she has many classes. Like girl dont teach the classes if you cant handle the workload without taking it out on the students.

I had mixed feelings about Dr. Graff's class. She was not that bad, she is loud and will call you out if you do not do your work, and is rude to her students and SIs often, however, she gives you all the information you need to succeed in the class. If you do all of her homework and understand it, you are going to pass. I would take her class again

I still don't know what to make completely of Dr. Graff, but I will admit that you do learn some needed information for future chem classes. However, she rambles on for 20-50 min every class before telling you what you really need to know in 5 min. I particularly disliked her busywork and she is often rude, both of which I think are unnecessary.
