The easiest class ever took it to transfer it to STATE. To all the STATE students atke this class it makes up for IDS290 and it is soooo easy. Busy Work. So much extra credit. A++++.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. I learned a ton from her. Problem is there is alot of busy work and the projects are group dependant. Make sure you choose your groups wisely or your grade will suffer.

Outstanding teacher. Very Professional. She instills team work in every group project. She explains the projects very clearly so that everyone understands the work that is required. Dr. Simpson gives extra credit through out her class for the ones that might need to keep their grade.

Brilliant, friendly, helpful, compassionate. Loves teaching and is evident!

All this busy work people are complaining took 10 minutes to do so suck it up. This is one of the easiest classes to get an A in. She won't throw it at you but a little effort on your part will get you an A.

This class is really easy if you just do the work, but if you miss some of the required assignments you automatically get a C or lower.

this class was easy, just use the book as u take the test, its interesting and practical stuff for anyone though so i tried to actually learn the stuff, i think this class is a little too easy, just because i dont think its interactive or challenging enough if you want to retain the material

She is the most awesome teacher ever. I had her for both Business Intro and Communications. I love having her as a teacher. She is very easy to talk to and will try to help you as best as she can. You can't ask for a better teacher.

This was a breeze of a class. She keeps you interested with current events and humor. She is an awesome teacher. If you keep up with the homework then you will pass. If any one says that she has a hard class then they are morons. Even if you don't get all of the homework done you still get a B. Two thumbs up...WAY UP...Fonzi style!

This is an awesome class - work at your own pace and there are no deadlines for tests or homework. As long as you have everything done by the end of the semester your good. Actually there is one project that is due in the middle of the semester. She is very nice and always willing to help. If you get less then an A its because of pure laziness!

This class was so easy. You can do it at your own pace and you turn it all in at the end of the semester. Just follow directions carefully and once you get a hang of the class you'll ace it with flying colors.

This was by far the easiest class I've ever taken. Most the stuff you do in groups, and I ended up making several friends as our group became very tight knit. All of us the group had achieved A's with still 2 weeks left in the class, so we could just goof off towards the end. I think EVERYONE gets A's unless they mess up their notebook on audit day

BEST TEACHER EVER!! The class was extremely easy! Lots of group work in class, not much hw. Weekly quizzes (easy!), all classwork due at end of semester. No final, No midterm! Very helpful and pleasant teacher! Overall, a very fun class! I actually looked forward to it every week! Great teacher!!

Dr. Simpson is so knowledgable on business subject matter and wants to give that knowledge to the students! She is always there to help and explain things. She truly cares about student success, but only if you are willing to work hard as well!

wooow easiest teacher ever! my friends all took this class at State.. and they ended up getting a C.. do your self a favor and take Business law with this teacher ONLINE... took it for intersession (4 weeks) and it was super easy!

BEST online class of 13 I have had! Well-organized, very clear instructions. Immediately apply what I learned. Books are real world applications and GREAT! Follow instructions and get an A. Be lazy and fail. Only someone lazy or who could not speak English would have trouble or be unhappy. Doc is the greatest!!!

Doc is a great online professor! If you do what is asked on the syllabus and complete assignments on time you are golden! No mid-term, no final, two shots at each quiz and a set guideline to help you learn the subject. I took a 4 week online summer course that was crammed with info yet had a reasonable workload. TERRIFIC PROFESSOR. You know what is due and when and get all the information you need to get an A. Gives lots of freedom but I procrastinated and got a B. Still she is great and will reallyh miss her online teaching.

Very helpful and caring and checks email frequently. Taught things that I can use at work. Well organized and detailed assignments instructions. Book is easy to read. My boss was impressed with what I learned and because of this I will not be in the next lay-off. Take her if you don't want to do busy work or to be bored.

I agree with the previous posting. She is semi-retired now but still teaching Business communications online. I didn't know there was so much interesting stuff yet to learn in business. I had to drop due to family reasons but will definitely take her again in the futurte.

Took the class online. A lot of work: online, message boards, blackboard emails, and in books, but not difficult. Must complete all of both books. Only three due dates (two assignments and a final audit on campus), the rest is self paced. She responds within a day or two to emails, and reminds you to not fall behind. She's nice.

THE BEST EVER. Right away I used what I learned to get a job and on that job. She is great and you do not learn stuff you cannot use.

Very nice & attentive but assignment info. was all over the place, disorganized. Can work at own pace. Very strict. Have to get a certain % on resume project or you fail the entire class. I got 48 out of 50 but I feel sorry for those who didn’t. This was the most work I think that I have ever had to do in any class, including classes at SDSU.

I got a B because I waited to buy the textbook and fell behind. Really good class. Set up well for an online class and easy to understand. Loved Doc (she lets us call her this instead of Dr. Simpson).

This has been my favorite class I have taken in college! It is very straightforward, so you always know what is expected of you. You learn things that you can apply to the real world, and you have fun doing it. Plus, Doc is very reliable and quick at replying to emails. TAKE THIS CLASS!!

Students love Doc. She's fair and makes it so you always know howyou are progressing and what is expected and when things are due and how they will be graded. Very different from most online teachers this way.

I changed the way I look at the business world because of this class. I learned REAL things and am no longer scared of resumes and interviewing. Doc is the best. Because of this calss I will apply for work and be able to give my kids a better life.

Attended SDSU and was taking 4 classes and 3 at Miramar. Too much stress with 22 units so I had to drop several courses. Dr. Simpson is the nicest and caring professor that i've ever come across in my life. I hope one day to get to meet Doc. I'm sure she is a fascinating woman. She helped me throughout this semester in life and in her class.

Class assignments and grade requirements were very clear and due dates were clear. Doc answers emails soon. Her style of online teaching is one of a kind. I was on DSPS and she worked with me a lot. She said as long as I was trying hard that she would too. She has understanding and patience for all of us as long as we are not lazy or careless.

Before this class I didn't really care about business classes which are my major. Doc really got me interested and looking forward to my future career. It was fun and interesting and I learned really helpful stuff I did not know. Wish she taught more classes but she is partly retired. I grade her A+. Take her. Also she takes crashers like me.

Since I took it online I only saw her one time but she was so sweet! Her instructions online are clear and you will pass if you do your work . You get two spiral textbooks and then make sure to fill in every blank and do the business letters and you'll pass no problem. Super easy just don't fall too far behind.

Amazing professor. Took her online. Must buy workbooks, because that's where your grade comes from. There is A LOT of work to do. Workbook questions, online assignments, & online quizzes. All three things due every week. Fairly easy, just time consuming. Overall good class. Would recommend taking her.

She is a great professor. The class has a lot of assignments, but if you do them and pay attention to instructions it is an easy A. She is motivational and encouraging. She answers email every day. Material and assignments are explained simply and clearly. Down sides- she shows no mercy if you miss deadlines or are too lazy to read instructions.

The amount of emails and changes to things seems a little crazy at first, but once you get the swing of the class it goes quickly and easily. She is very nice, helpful and responsive and although it's a lot of work it's laid out in a way that makes it easy to get a good grade. I would recommend her as a teacher.

Sends weekly email reminde and announcements so you follow syllabus and do not get behind. Sends class updates so you know how you are doing compared to others anonymous. We did practical assignments that helped me at work. Dr. Simpson has seriously been one of my top professors not only in content of the class, but also with communications. A+++

Requirements were very clear. Grade expectations were explained in advance. She reminds you weekly what is due. Doc is on email every day. Learned more that I expected from a required course because I can use this information now at work.

This is the best online website I ever used. Everything is right there and I knew when it was due and exactly what the assignments were. I applied a lot to what I do at work. Most problems are probably b/c of switch from BB to Canvas this term. Some instructions are outdated & conflict w/ what's available. Seems curt in messages. Teach yourself by reading/videos. Few deadlines & can work at your own pace. Saturday audit of workbook at end of semester is inconvenient but has mail-in option. Good for independent learners.

Dr. Simpson is such a sweet professor, she was very responsive via canvas messenger and would send out daily reminders on upcoming due dates and expectations. There are a few projects, and a fill in paper textbook that is needed, but everything is very straight forward.

Dr. Simpson was absolutely amazing. Follow the instructions, put in a little time, and you will do great. She sent me many emails directly commending my work which is also very nice, and goes above and beyond.
