Cant understand a word he is saying
He starts in chapters 3,then 2 jumps to 4, then 1 which isnt terrible if it makes sense. chapter 1 should be the first thing you should go over since it lays the groundwork for the class. If I had the option to give zero stars I would. Gives out sheets which hell copy and not explain anything regardless of how many questions you ask.
Terrible teacher. He mumbles his words and simply lists off answers to questions. Easy HW but don't expect to learn anything from it. Rewriting the given info will give you partial credit on HW and Tests. His exams were ONLY 2 questions long, which he gives almost carbon copy examples online to study from. Easy A, but you won't learn anything.
Doesn't teach you anything. Just reads of his paper and doesn't look up to answer questions
People are gonna tear this professor apart and that makes me sad because he's not a bad guy. But the way he taught just isn't viable for the first accounting class you've ever taken. I know coronavirus messed things up, but people don't want to take the effort to do well on tests if you're not gonna make the effort to teach the material. Do better.

I think this guy got his teaching license from a cereal box. He spends 45 minutes on 1 problem, makes 25 mistakes that are caught only by students and then he gets aggravated when you do poorly on tests. Do not trust the one comment that said his students are low life stoners. Im usually a B+/A student and Im failing his class.
If you want to drop your GPA, this is the professor to take. This is honestly the worst professor I've ever had. In the past month he's changed the course format 2x. He's gone from requiring exams to be done in PROCTOR U, to being open book, now a week before our second exam and 2 weeks before our final he wants it closed book and in the Respondus system. DO NOT TAKE HIM. He shouldn't be allowed to teach.
this is by far the worst class ive ever taken. he changed the class format 3x. supposed to have open notebook tests and 2 weeks before the final changed it to closed book and on respondus. will not answer a single question u ask. i am a 4.0 student failing his class. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. makes me question farmingdale. he deserves to be fired.
Don't Even Think About Taking Him Unless You Want To Lower Your GPA.
Class was "online" due to COVID but online to him is an over the phone conference call. Hard to focus when other people aren't muted. You will not succeed if you have a bad attention span. Basically you have to teach yourself.
Okay, Imagine signing up for this class knowing it was gonna be online and then finding out on the day classes start that the only way to "go to class" is by calling a phone number and being in a conference call with all of your other classmates and listening to the teacher's boring voice. Well then buckle up because that's what this is and its bad
worst professor on Farmingdale Campus, His lecture is a conference call so don't even bother taking this class if you have a choice. I'm not sure why he's still teaching, it's clearly not his thing
This professor doesn't understand that "conference calls" doesn't work for online learning. Most of the students complained that we had to dial in on our phone and listen, so the teacher obliged and put it on Google meet. But the professor still dials in on his phone. There's no difference, get ready for pre and post quizzes. Didn't learn anything
So this is what it is like to have a bad professor teach you accounting. This guy belongs in a toolbox because he is not useful in helping or fixing our skills when teaching us accounting. Don't take him please.
He does not care about his students at all and just shows up to teach a lecture and get paid. Uses proctor u and does not care about his students having to wait 2 hours to take a test. He teaches the material by just reading off a screen over the phone and he did not even want to share slides with us at first. THE WORST PROFESSOR EVER. DONT TAKE!!
This class was a rollercoaster of emotions. If you have no choice but to take this class, just know that the textbook is 100% necessary. The exercises for each chapter will SAVE YOUR LIFE!!! Professor was lecture heavy but will give you an extension if needed! Do not give up on this class, try your hardest and you will be rewarded :)
The professor went over the material very quick and did not explain the material too well. The only thing I can say he did well was host reviews outside of class for midterms and final. This was a very hard course and I do believe the professor did not make it easy at all!
THE BEST TEACHER EVER. This professor was by far one of the best professors Ive had at farmingdale. He teachers very well the subject. His tests arent hard at all. MUST TAKE TRUST MEE! In person hes really good

He was ok. I am an accountant major so I needed to learn the material. I got an A+ but beware that he may not be the best teacher if you actually are trying to be an accountant. Other than that its an easy A.
This professor has changed. He changed from the first time I had him. He turned into the goat. So laid back. His test are so easy and hw is done in partners and is also so easy. The tests are all done through blackboard.

All of his exams are online and super easy. He lets you do homework in groups if you want. He gives a week and a half for an exam online so if you miss it that’s on you.
He is strict on deadlines cause he gives you so much time but other than that easy class. I’m typically a B/C student but recurved my first A+. He gives a ton of extra credit.

I am pretty sure he wrote a majority of the good reviews because he is not a good professor at all. Stay far away from this guy unless you want to wreck your GPA.
Using a 5 star rating so you can all read it. His inability to help students understand coursework is just one thing on the long list of reasons why you should never take a class with him. His teaching method is not nearly as effective as it could be on top of not being kind.
I would recommend choosing another professor. Dude talks slow and doesn't know what he's doing or talking about half of the time. He reads right off the powerpoint which don't make sense, so be prepared to teach yourself everything because this professor does nothing to help. He barely answers any questions asked. Gives two midterms and the final.
He is just a terrible teacher. The way he grades quizzes and test don't make sense. Very unclear what is actually wrong and what is right. If you just need to pass he is acceptable but if you need to learn it for accounting 2 DONT take him.
This professor is great it is up to you to pay attention and earn your A. He grades the exams quizzes and HW very lightly though you'll a 70% just by writing debit/credit and demonstrating you have a decent understanding of the quiz subject. He drops 1 of the 3 exams 2 quizzes and a HW. You cannot fail this class it shouldn't be possible TAKE THIS!
Absolutely not. Never again. Biggest mistake signing up for this class. I have never experienced a professor that was so unclear, constantly mumbling/monotone so you cannot understand a word he says... DO NOT take this professor.
I liked his grading policy, drops lowest hw/quiz/exam. Grades HW's based on if you complete it- not on right/wrong answers. Does a review before every quiz. He posts HW & quiz answers on Brightspace after you hand it in. Isn't very engaging with the class but is very easy-going. You have to dedicate time outside of the classroom to study material.
I would never take this professor again!! He would answer your questions but you can barely understand anything he's saying, and he makes the class boring. If an easy A is what you're looking for he's perfect for you but besides that, he is the worst.
I know he gets a bad rep, but this guy wants you to pass. He's a fair grader on exams, and DROPS TWO TESTS. There's barely any homework and gives you the past exams to study from. He might sound a little quiet or shy, and his teaching method might not be ideal, but you can pass his class.
He's not a good professor. RUN AWAY!
