and i thought i had good teachers through my public-schooling career... he is absolutely the best. engaging, friendly, easy to relate to, (easy, also, on the eyes). if only all these university profs could be so human. he does interesting research too!

He is very easy on the eyes, which makes biology bearable, lol. I just wish he was able to cover everyhting he is suppose to instead of going off on so many tangents!

Good looking, explains stuff well, lots of fun, is interactive and entertaining...you'll miss him BIG TIME when the profs switch up mid-semester :S

Great Prof! Made lecture material fun and easy to understand!

If i wasn't engaged, i'd be all over his stick. That's all i have to say about that.

Lots of fun to work with in the lab. You never run out of topics to talk about with him. Also very passionate about his research - not to mention knowledgeable.

Why can't I have such nice profs in chemistry who aren't out to f**k you over? *Love the glasses*

This class is really similar to high school material, but he's funny and so its not that bad to hear the same things over again. He really "hints" at a lot of stuff that will be on the exam, so that also helps. He's a great prof.

Great prof. Always in a good mood & makes the course enjoyable. Fell asleep a couple times, but mostly because I was really tired and my eyeballs were sleepy, hahahaha.

Great professor. Although his pace is slower than others, it is easier to learn, as he incorporates humour into his lectures (which keeps us awake). Does not throw any tricks into the exam, but attending the lectures gives easy marks:D Dr.Bruce, good job!

All the girls in my class seem to find him attractive. He is a really good teacher, and makes biology bearable. His tests are straight foreward and he doesn;t use tricks in multiple choice questions. Far better than Professor Hunter.

Best prof EVER!!! ...and the kilt.....made class soooo much better lol. he's one of those profs where you could totally skip the class and still get a decent mark but you want to go to class anyway just because the prof is THAT awesome. Kudos, Dr Bruce!

AMAZING prof. I go to this classs just because of him.

Focuses on concepts, not memorizing - easily captured the attention of 500 first year students: not an easy feat!

Really excellent professor, takes the time to answer your questions and in great detail as well. He even sent me a table with bond strengths. Not to mention I'm in love with him so makes lecture a lot easier to pay attention to (except for the drool stain on my binder now).

Dr. Bruce is the perfect man, smart, funny, and very good looking. The class was great, challenging, but putting in the time and effort will get you a good grade. I ended up with a 92 in the course. He's enthusiastic, interesting and sexy.

Bruce was actually really good at explaining everything - and he was really helpful if you had questions at the end of lecture. He even dressed up for Halloween. His exams were perf if you studied.

Great prof. Really easy. BIOL 1F90 was basically a repeat of grade 12 but even easier.

Hands down one of the best professors I have ever had. I had no interest in biology before taking his class; he made his material interesting and having lectures broken up into 1 hour segments three times a week helps. Hilarious, kind, easy to work with and understanding.

Amazing prof, he's able to take such complex concepts and explain to anyone with ease with a guarantee that they will understand. And he's SO funny lol

Women want to be with him, and men want to be him. Bruce is the epitome of manliness.

Everyone loves him, men and women alike have the hots for him and his mysterious ways. He really spices up the content and makes bio feel great, even though you are talking about boring stuff in retrospect. But seriously, a godsend for anyone in bio; and a good prof to make the transition to Uni.

Amazing Teacher!

Funny, and passionate about what he teaches. Gets very excited about the content and gets you excited about the content! Really easy to listen to and takes his time to explain things, really wants YOU to understand. The midterm and final exam are fair, if you study and go to class youll do fine! He gives A LOT of hints in class about the exams!

Dr. Bruce is the BEST professor I have ever had. He is SO passionate about what he teaches and makes biology (surprisingly) fun and interesting. He does an excellent job with relation to students and is absolutely HILARIOUS. And, to make this all even better, he is smokin hot, so looking at him 3 times a week isn't too terrible either.

Doug is hands down the best person I have ever met. He knows what he is talking about and makes class fun. His exam reviews are straight forward and you can easily get an easy mark by doing the assigned reading and going to class. His hilarious clicker questions and sense of humour made this one of the fastest classes of my semester!

He's funny and he's kind and super approachable but his exam was hard

Makes the lectures very interesting and intuitive but it is hard to pay attention because it is the same material from grade 12 biology. He cares about his students and is not trying to make you fail, very approachable and relatable. Mid-term and final exams were quite tough so 's it's best to know everything in the slides and textbook

Bruce is a very good and friendly prof. He makes biology a breeze!!! The only things that I did not like was sometimes he seemed to rush through a few topics and also I found the midterm to be very little like what he told us it was going to be. Other than that, amazing prof. Course is very similar to grade 12 biology.

I enjoyed having Dr Bruce as my prof he was funny and informative however, I thought the exam questions were very specific compared to the lecture notes which were very broad, both exams were difficult.
