Nice teacher, just do your work and easily get an A on his easy tests, they are directly from the hw!

Pretty easy class...If you read the chapters and do the homework. All tests come from hw and there is a midterm(which comes from the tests) and one letter to do. He does treat you as if you were five...but deal with it, do the work and get an easy A.

I took both him and Smith, and I have to say he is a much better and easier teacher. He is big on attendance, and scares a lot of people. But I promise you will learn a lot in his class.

He is a very intimidating teacher, but show up to class everyday, do your homework and you will do well.

Dr. Crane is really strict, but also very witty and funny. he'll pick on you if you don't do your work and count off for not coming to class, but I guarentee you will learn so much in this class. He is so smart and cool!

Do your homework. His quizzes don't count for much, but his midterm and final are 35% each and are comprehensive.

Extremely intelligent prof, pay attention while in class and you will get more out of this class than any other at dunwoody

He is very arrogant, but he knows his stuff. He is very easy compared to Smith.

I learned a lot in his class. He tells you what is going to be on the tests. He can, however, be intimidating, and so I understand why some don't like him. He is great if you really like government issues.

Craine is pretty full of himself but he does know his subject well. That being history and Poly Sci. He's definately challenging so i was happy to come away with a "B" in his class.

Make sure to answer the questions he gives for homework...they are the same ones as the quizzes or atleast they were for the class I was in. Also write a good letter the first time and you don't have to write a second one. The final is the only hard part.

I wasn't looking forward to this class when I started the semester, but now it's my favorite. Do your homework and don't be late, and you'll be fine. The lectures are entertaining and informative, and the quizzes come right off the homework. Reccomended!

He lectures very little except to use the class as a bully pulpit for his own conservative Republican views. Lots of homework and many quizzes which account for only 30 percent of grade. Class attendance is mandatory. Exams, unlike lecture are not politically biased.

He's quite a fair teacher but he likes to appear intimidating. Homework sounds like it will be a very heavy load, but is not terrible. He does not count against anyone for their political opinions and his lectures are usually interesting. I recommend him greatly.

This class requires work, no doubt about it. Do the homework assignments he gives becuase all of the questions on the test come from the homework. It's not as bad as the below comments. Dont let him make you feel inferior. He tends to feed off of thatsoBECONFIDENT!!! =)

tries to scare people away at beg. of term, i think. really a cool guy. never be late and do every single hw, he counts off each time you mess up. tests n quizzes dtraight fr hw. you will learn alot about current events, though he is mouthy bout his views, he will hear yours.

like all of the other responses say you must do your homework and go to class if you want a good grade. if you don't miss any hw or class you get 5 points added to your final grade at the end of the semester an easy B or even an A. and if you need some help he will help you. this is college people.

He was intimidating the first time around and I dropped his class. This time I have stayed with it, and realized he is not at all like I originally thought! He is a very nice man and really does care about his students. I love his class!

Dr. Crane can come off as an extremely harsh teacher, but the class is easy. He gives questions each week and then the following week quizzes. He is very clear about assignments and genuinely wants his students to succeed. I highly recommend taking his class

Very straight forward. The class is outlined from the get go. Quiz and test questions are EXACTLY the same as homework questions, which he goes over with the class. If you o your homework, never be late & never miss class not only will yo pass with flying colors... he will even gives you an extra 5pt to your over all grade, which you won't need!

Lots of homework but quizzes and tests are straight from them. He doesn't do a lot of teaching except preaching. DON'T EVER BE LATE OR HAVE A CELL PHONE RING THOUGH. Group work is the usual, really easy class.

I was kinda scared when I first walked into his class, but it's pretty straight forward. Just come to class on time and do the homework. If you do the homework and skim through the chapters.. for the most part, you should be fine.

Easy easy class..just do everything you are assigned to do and you will get an A. Quizzes are identical to his study guides. The only bad thing about him, is that he will never give you a break. Has no sympathy for you.

He is a very stright forward teacher. Go to class and do your homework, and you will be fine. His Quizes are EXACTLY like the home work questions, so make sure you get the right answers. His class is very slow, but it should be an easy A!! I definently say take him.

Very easy to get an A in this class.. if you do all the assigned book work - quizzes come straight from these questions word-for-word. Come to class on time and do the homework and he automatically adds 5pts to your final average. He's interesting to listen to - extremely educated and well-spoken.

An easy A if you do the chapter homework and study it! His quizzes are word-for-word from the homework and in the same order. He's an interesting professor! Fun lectures - he wants his students to participate and discuss gov't so it's interesting! So take his class if you don't mind bookwork and can be on time to class!!

Great teacher! Makes his lectures really interesting. I was not interested in Pol Science before but he made me like the topic! Wonderful professor!

He demands punctuality and attendence. He is indeed conservative, but he is no bully. He will challenge you, but he will also listen to you. He will even occasionally admit defeat. Do the Homework- the Homework is the test- study the homework exstensively. HE DOES NOT TRY TO FAIL YOU. HE WILL HELP YOU IF YOU ASK FOR IT. But you do have to ask

I can't believe people are talking so badly about this man. His class was amazing. I HATE Political Science, but he made the class endurable. His quizzes are the exact same as the homework. Basically, do the homework, pass the class. You have to write a letter to a government official, but it's really not hard.

Love love loved this teacher! He made class interesting. He gives study guides and then takes the question off the study guide for the test. Wonderful man and a great teacher!

COME TO EVERY CLASS ON TIME!!! He is a real straight forward guy but a stickler for attendance. Dr. Crane will not make the class harder than it needs to be. He gives you study guides which are the quizes. Midterm and final are not cake. Set yourself up for success by doing well on your quizes.

The study guides are excellent. The quizzes are basically the exact same questions from the study guides. However, when not in groups he tends to preach.

Anyone who rates this professor low must be a total idiot. He his a wonderful teacher and he makes the class extremely interesting. I didn't like politics at all and now i really enjoy it thans to him. Easy A if you just try and study a ittle.

The best teacher in the world--will make you love politics. He is laid back and compassionate about the subject. Read the book, do the homework and you will get an A. The best!

this is my dude!!! He mad my class so intersting. He preaches but unlike other teachers he speaks the truth! This man is so smart, he knows how to show you why political science is a class that will help you in the future! Slackas BEWARE!!! this is not a sleep class and get an A, doing HW and listening you will be fine ya dig!!

This class is not for whiners who don't know how to manage their time! He is not harsh, he is business-like. That's what THE REAL WORLD is all about.

attendance is mandatory. the tests are the homework exactly. the midterm and final are kinda hard. just do the homework and study the homework well and you will do fine. its extremely hard to get an A but is a pretty easy B. there is 2 letters that are very easy if you follow his directions exactly.

Prof.is very passionate however he tends to push his opinions. Be ready for lots of work! The assignments take a very long time to finish and it's due every 1.5 weeks. i.e. the first one had 78 short answer questions and 14 essay questions.It took me 5hours to finish.You have to ask to use the bathroom. I would not recommend his class.

He gives out infractions for everything: Missing homework/class,not sitting in your assigned seat/asking to go to restroom etc. Get 5 & he'll drop your grade 10 points. He's very opinionated & will spend the entire class period arguing with you. Don't worry- all of his study guides are on his website so you can teach yourself. I tried hard & failed

Dr. Crane's class was pretty challenging. You absolutely have to do the homework, unfortunately theres ALOT of it. The midterm and final are difficult. Half his class dropped midway through the semester.

Attendance & homework are both important. If you don't mind actually doing the work, the tests are easy because they are almost identical to the homework.

He's a pretty interesting guy who's not afraid to voice his opinion. He makes his political views very well known so be prepared. Homework is absolutely necessary if you want to do well!

Super strict. DON'T BE LATE. If you study its not hard, everything is from the textbook. Gives 5 points on your final grade for perfect attendance. If you want an interesting experience and a teacher you'll never forget him. Don't take him if you don't want to work for it.

Brilliant man who knows everything about politics. His whole class is just him lecturing, but he is very interesting to listen to. Relates everything to the real world and how it affects us. Attend every class and do all your HW, +5 on your final grade. Quizzes are straight from the HW. You will learn a lot that you can carry with you for life.

While Crane was very kind to me, his class was my hardest this semester. The homework was sporadic with several assignments one week and none the next. I never knew when the workload would hit, and sometimes I did not know when that work was due. The last quiz was a whopping 100 questions. However, he does mean well and he cares about his students.
