I had a very unpleasant experiance with this prof. He yeaches as if he was lecturing other mathematicians. He moves ahead without monitoring students' progress. He only listens to a one student, who he assumes represents the level of the entire class. If you are not very strong in math do not take this class.

Very helpful in trying to make you understand what he is talking about. Although he does not collect hw, it helps a lot on the daily quizes that he gives out. Most of the time he goes on to proofing a formula as a opposed to giving you the formula and letting you memorize it. 3 Exams, quiz at least once a week, and a final.

Absolutely awful.. never coded in python in his life. This dude was debugging his practice problem answers as he was trying to explain them before our final. Gave ridiculously hard hw that nobody could do, unless you've been coding for years. Worst part, half the class busted for using chegg on the final even though he said we could use internet.

In person he was fine even though he would easily get mad at the class for the dumbest reasons. His tests were fair and he let us use a cheat sheet. HWs are done with a partner and the notes are good but they are made by another prof. For the final, he said we could use google then fails half the class cuz of an answer off chegg.

Don't ask too many questions during the lecture b/c he gets irritated. Read his mood towards you: if he doesn't feel comfortable when you're around him he can take a disliking towards you and start being passive-aggressive. I would take him again b/c he knows a lot a bout simulation but I would keep my interactions with him to the minimum.

Solid professor but you'll only pass the class if you're determined to put 100% of your focus in class or if you're just a genius in calc. The pace of the class is fast and if you don't pay attention just a little, you'll slack off. He lack teaching skills and isn't the best at explaining the material

Good teacher! Easy to follow voice and has a nice teaching style. 3 test worth 20% each, nice curve, 1 departmental final (not curved), and 10% worth for homework. Pretty lenient if you try in the class and are somewhat good at Pre calc. But fair and generous teacher!

Isn't the best w tech, teaches the subject in a more classical and not modern way of mathematics. Can get very complex in the simplest things in math… gets confusing and harder. If I was him I would retire… I would look for another professor unless u know what you are doing. Sit in the front of the class if u want to do well!!!

He honestly has anger issues. He gets rlly pissed when students ask him to clarify something he didn't explain well. He isn't good with technology so don't expect email responses very fast. Pretty heavy class, but its passable if you put a LOT of effort. Better off taking someone else

I recommend you do a light intro to pre-calculus before taking his class, if you haven't taken math the previous year. Your focus needs to be 100% into what he is "teaching", and I also highly recommend reviewing the lecture/homework before class. He will cold-call sometimes and moves fast, there are a few pop quizzes scattered in the semester. GL

Polite and patient guy, but if you aren't already good at math, he is not a good teacher. He goes over problems too quickly and doesn't explain simpler ways to do the math. HOWEVER, he is very kind and understanding if you talk to him and PARTICIPATE in class. Class quizzes are easy. Tests are ok.
