He is a very nice and funny guy. He is also very helpful with any problems or questions. Have to take a lot of notes in class and study for tests. If you do that, a good grade in the class is guaranteed.

Not at all what I expected the class to be. He is a VERY religious man with a strong bias toward Christianity. Shares his personal opinions about religion far too much. Wouldn't recommend taking psychology of religion with him.

Very helpful professor. He will explain theories and give examples that need your close attention to. His tests are mostly examples that you have to identify the theory/concept that goes with it. Therefore it is best to take good notes and study.

This is a hard class. You must come to class and take good notes. Pay attention and ask questions if you don't understand something. Pay special attention to the examples he gives while lecturing--the examples will be on the exam in the form of a question. You must study and read the book. I got an "A," but I really worked for it.

If you are looking for a class to skip this isn't the one to take. He is a super nice person, but go to class EVERY day take really good notes and you will do ok. If you want an A you have to work for it. Tests are multiple choice but are application questions not definitions so you have to UNDERSTAND the concepts. He is extremely helpful.

I've taken Dr. Krull for 2 classes now and I can tell he is by far the hardest grader in psychology throughout my 3 year career. I Repeat this guy is a HARD GRADER. Avoid if possible unless you want to develop a chronic anxiety disorder.

EASY class. All u need to do is study the notes and read the assigned chapters. Tests are 50 mult-choice, 2 pts ea. Don't miss class as his lecture is mostly what you are tested on. There is absolutely no reason to fail or make below a B - as long as you study. INCREDIBLY KIND. Very shy outside class, but will do anything he can to assist you.

I loved Dr. Krull. He is so funny and i love the way he immatates skits so its easy to remember on the test. I found it benifical to study your notes and not your book. He has powerpoints online you can print out for the entire semester. It pays off on the test to pay attention. Tests are rather easy if you pay attention and study.

Great professor, makes class interesting. He really enjoys teaching the material and is a funny guy. A lot of notes covered, easy class if you study all the notes but if you dont study dont plan on passing the class.

He is very entertaining, buy very geeky which just made him even more endearing. His explanations of the materials is crystal clear. His test are kind of hard. Make sure you take notes and listen to his examples. He gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit.

Very nice, but had a tendancy to assert personal opinions in his classes. For example, he made it quite clear that he did not believe in evolution.

The tests do require that you study so it is not an "easy A" He gives random questions of the day as his attendance grade. You get a 5/5 for even writing your name and giving a guess. He loves what he teaches and is easy to relate to.

Dont buy the book.

Intro to Psych in not an easy A no matter who teaches it, but Prof. Krull helps make it interesting. You need to go to class for his lectures, read the chapters, review your notes, and you should do fine. I did better than I thought I would. He can be shy, but he's very open to helping you understand the concepts. Very objective. Great guy.

VERY nice teacher. This class is hard and you have to STUDY if you want a good grade. Don't be like me and drop it because you didn't study!

He is a very nice teacher! He's very willing to answer any questions you have, his tests are hard if you dont study, but that's how all psych classes are, just study the notes and you should do great!

Krull is a funny guy. He always acts out examples and makes things super easy to understand. tests aren't bad if you study and take notes. Attendence isnt mandatory but if you dont go then you won't get the required notes for the tests. You should buy the book solely for studying and reading examples. No homework, he's very helpful.I reccomend him.

Prof. Krull is an outstanding man. He cares so much and goes the extra mile to make you succeed. His tests are challenging but if you study the study guide that he gives you, you will be fine. OUTSTANDING!!!

Very Easy as long as you study a little the night before and show up and pay attention. Makes the subject interesting and very easy to understand. No need to buy the book.

There's a test every 3 weeks. You need to read the book, your notes won't make sense. He puts the notes on Blackboard, but they don't make much sense unless he's explaining them. The textbook is really expensive and you can't find it online because he's modified it to include his own work as well as the original author's. If you study, take him!

This class was hard but he made it fun! He is a pretty funny guy, in a different kind of way! I really enjoyed the class, so I got an A. You have to study really hard for the test!!! Study from his outlines and the book and you should do fine!

Very Nice, sorta Funny, very helpful, need to attend class he puts notes on blackboard you would need to follow them and take your own as well, book very helpful, he wrote first section so lecture goes along with the book, For a Gen. Ed. it was interesting, when choosing a psyc. professor choose him.

First, I missed A LOT of class due to sickness and still wound up with a B. He let me make up 2 out of the 6 tests in his office. I don't know any professor that would do that. Very nice and understanding. Really tries to gives interesting examples in lecture. Very enthusiastic. PSY 101 can be a hard Gen Ed for some, I recommend Krull.

Great professor. Teaching is pretty clear and he makes the lesson interesting. He is kind of funny too.

overall, this was a fun class. he gives lots of extra credit--just make sure you get it done in time. going to class, listening, and taking good notes will get you an easy A. and it will save you from having to buy his personal, outrageously expensive textbook. if you go to class, you don't need to buy it at all. he's funny and energetic

This class was a challenge, there is a lot of material that is covered. The Professor was very clear in his lectures which made this a great class to take. He offers a lot of extra credit. Just show up to lecture and study and you can get a good great. I really enjoyed this teacher. He was also very quick with returning emails and w/ posting grades

I would highly recommend him for psy 100, he does a lot of extra credit points. He lectures a bit fast, but he has the powerpoints outlined so you can print them out. He also wrote the textbook and reading it is just like hearing him lecture, so that is helpful. His tests aren't hard, they are multiple choice, and there are always bonus questions.

Wonderful person. I love Dr. Krull. He is so funny and easy to understand. You can tell he has a passion for and really enjoys what he does.

Great teacher who knows his stuff. His lectures can be a tad boring but he explains the material very clearly and loves what he does!! His tests can be difficult if your not used to studying for hours on the daily. But you learn a lot and as long as you study you'll do good! His book has all the material and are straight from his lectures

He is a very tough grader. Studying and reading the book is essential for passing. He wrote the textbook, so the book has the information needed to pass.

He is awesome. Lectures are pretty long, but he cracks jokes in them and makes it very fun to listen to. As long as you take notes, and then study them with friends, the class is pretty easy. I absolutely loved this class and I would take it again in a heartbeat!

Krull is very willing to help if needed. His class is 6 exams, one assignment and participation note cards. Lectures are typical, straight off the powerpoint, and can get boring. The class is easy as long as you study from the book.

Dr. Krull is a really nice guy and gives good feedback. Although his class can get a little bit boring because of long lectures but he's willing to help anytime. That makes him a great professor.

Took this class along with a few friends which overall made it so much easier. Great professor. Very very clear and easy to understand. Basically gives you the exam questions and offers extra credit. Would totally recommend and would take his class again.

Lectures can be a bit wordy since they are lines of text within PowerPoint slides. Does provide a glossary of terms for every test and a study guide. He also does his own Jeopardy game (organized by groups) before each test. Extremely nice guy, always willing to help. He doesn't command the room though, so "chatty" students may not go silenced.

Okay so in Professor Krull's class, you really have to go. Attendance isn't mandatory and the lectures are self explanatory, but go anyway. He uploads outlines of his lectures which are precise to his lectures in class. He uploads glossaries and study guides too. Read them. And yes you do need to buy his book.

The only annoying thing is that he makes you buy a book for $150 but his lectures are identical to the book. However, there are readings from the book that he tests you on. Four tests and only other grades are short papers.

His tests are really easy with tons of extra credit. He does lecture right out of the book but that's because he wrote it. He does have a lot of dad jokes though in his book and on the test.

Good prof. Makes very dumb but funny jokes. Lecture and examples come right from the text. Quizzes are online & open book. Exams are difficult but very doable, study and know names and theories; print the study guide and fill out info around the terms (never got below a 90 doing this). Go to class, follow along and take notes on the powerpoints.

He's very nice and caring but his class is very lecture heavy. Lectures aren't interesting so you have to work hard to pay attention. He posts powerpoints on bb, gives online quizzes before tests, and offers extra credit here and there. Tests are ridiculously difficult and A LOT to study. You will NOT pass if you don't study.

I LOVED his course. And he reordered lectures every week and out them up on blackboard more often than not. Didn't read the textbook at all.

This class wasn't too bad. I would definitely suggest making sure you actually read the textbook chapters because the tests are based primarily off of things you can only find in the book. As long as you're reading the textbook and testing your knowledge, you should easily pass the class. Dr. Krull also seems to respond to emails pretty quickly.

His lectures are funny and if you want to get a good grade in the class you should watch them. There wasn't a heavy workload and the textbook is easy to read. I would definitely take classes from him again and recommend him to others. He made intro-psych easy to learn.

Krull's class is very lecture heavy and most of the stuff you can access on powerpoint on canvas without going to class, however I found that he gives so many good examples and further definitions that you need to know so DO GO. I thought he was super passionate/energetic about psychology and had awkward humor/ was overall nice. i liked his class

In my experience, Dr. Krull has been a very helpful professor and gives good feedback. He seems to be passionate about his field and care about his students. Studying and staying on top of assignments is important for this class because it goes really fast, but the material is not hard to understand.

Super flexible when it came to my 2 week hospitalization and over all makes psych fun. I am in another one of Dr. Krulls psych classes right now. Notes were optional and due to covid we did a small test at the end of each week.

The grades are only based on quizzes and exams. There is one assignment the entire year. His lectures were very interesting. I did not take notes or study and passed with an A. If you show up to all the classes and pay attention you will have no trouble in this class. Overall I enjoyed my experience in PSY100

Dr. Krull is a good professor. The class isn't terribly hard either. The only thing to look for is you don't get a lot of time for exams. Other than that he lectures most of the class but he does a great job trying to make things make sense. I recommend him!

since I took the online course the work is on you. he provides videos of his presentations but you need to read the textbook. grades come from quizzes and tests solely. all quizzes and tests are open note though! he responds timely.

There were a lot of lectures, but there was only quizzes and tests. All exams and quizzes are open book so super easy. Very little work.

GET THE BOOK. His classes are all lectures and he doesn't go over everything. Some of the information on the tests and quizzes can only be found in the book. Those are the only assignments, but it's all open note/book which is really nice. You can rent a textbook for free from the UCAP library, that's what I did. Overall, his class was really easy.

The professor is nice. He responds to messages super fast. All of the quizzes and exams are open book. The ending assignment is a super easy 40 points. You definitely need the textbook and you get two weeks to finish two long chapters and a bunch of lecture videos, which were helpful, but overall this class was good.

He is so funny and very passionate about what he teaches. I totally recommend taking this class with him because it is extremely easy and the exams and tests are online.

Had 4 exams, 4 quizzes, and 3 one paged papers for the whole semester. There is no text book, he just has some online readings that he provides each week on canvas and then has his lectures in class. Show up to class and take notes and you'll be fine. He also is a very funny weirdo.
