Great teacher, very funny, entertains while he teaches, big on attendance. Open book quizzes, easy tests (no suprises) fair grader, overall a great teacher. I would definately recommend him.

Amazing teacher!!! speaks in a way that is easy to understand, no crazy terminology. Have had twice MGF1106 and MAC1105.Very easy if you keep up, and do HW. Explains cearly and grading is very fair.

OMG he's the guy from Fear Factor (so hot!!). Explains everything, funny in class, never a boring moment. Actually WANTS you to learn. Curves grades, reteaches when necessary. If i needed more math i'd want him as a teacher! You earn what you get.

No surprises in this class. Clearly explains (several times if necessary), always ready to help during class, before and after, makes class more fun than usual... and you learn while you're doing it. He teaches easy ways to remember things too.

Talk about wired! This man will keep u awake N still interested, but dont b fooled if u don't do the homework it won't hurt ur grade, but how u do on exams.test are basically lecture problems a little more compilcated, but quizzes are easy A'S if you take good notes. i loved his class.

Great teacher! Very helpful and trys to figure out how to explain subjects so everyone understands it. Tells you exactly what's going to be on the tests. Doesn't grade homework, but do it to stay on top of things. You take about 9 quizes and drop the 2 or 3 that are the lowest.

Great algebra teacher. Had others who were not as clear or as helpful. He does yell though in class. Do your homework, take your quizzes and exams seriously. Explains subject matter over and over again until you get it.

This guy is one of the best professors in math..he will motivate you to do better even if ur not interested in math. His tests may be hard, but they are well worth the challange. I would definently take Doug again for any of my math classes. Too bad he is not teaching calc II this semester.

Thank Ya Jesus for giving us this man to teach trig. Unless you already have a very good understanding of trig, don't take this class from anyone else. I made that mistake and almost failed with another teacher. Windham makes way more sense and I'm good at math. Don't confuse his loudness with meanness. He's a ****cat. MEOW!

Two words TAKE HIM! He is intertaining, has a great sense of humor and totally knows what he is talking about. I worked really hard in his class and pulled off a B... so if you're a slacker and would rather stay in your bed then he is not the one for you. However, if you go to class, pay attention, do homeworka and ask for help you'll be fine!

I took Dr. Windham for Calc I. All I can say is that he is a great teacher who cares about his students and that they understand the material. He's extremely helpful if you ask and treats his students fair. He's not stuck up, but just a great guy who does his job well. He's funny, supportive, and tells you what he expects out of you on tests, etc.

GREAT TEACHER! I suggest taking him, he knows his stuff up and down, and he keeps you interested as he teaches. Attendance is pretty mandatory just because it's math but you can miss a day here and there and be fine. He gives weekly quizzes which are easy and help your grade, his hw is on coursecompass and never closes.

He's very loud, which was great for me since I'm the type that falls asleep in class. :) I switched my major to engineering because of him.

Ok so if you suck at math or think your good, your wrong. There was probably 50 students when class started now remaining there are about 20. His teaching style is very difficult to understand. Hes extremly cocky because he knows his stuff. He was a good teacher but honestly choose a different one.

THE BEST MATH TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD. Im normally terrible with math but he makes everything very clear. Quizzes are open notes and gives 4 exams. Great Algebra teacher. After taking Susan Wessner and Donna Massey in my previous developmental math classes I wanted someone who would continue spiking my interest in Math, and so he did! Come to class, and ask questions or go to his office if you do not understand the material. He is more than willing to help if you do your part also!

DO NOT take ANYONE else besides him for your college math courses. I had him for both College Algebra and Trig and I passed both, one with an A and one with a B. I had absolutely no math background thanks to my school when I came to TCC also. He will help you like no one else will and I promise you that you can know math if you don't already.

I hated math before I took this class, but while taking this class I have gained a high respect for it. He was able to explain each and every point of the material with incredible clarity to ever student in the class. If you take college algebra and do not take this teacher you are completely missing out.

Great professor. I'm about to finish his summer College Algebra course with a 100-105 percent. He makes mathematics fun and keeps you engaged. I didn't necessarily enjoy math before this class but now I love it. He takes concepts and explains how they can be applied to the real world. He makes mathematics very clear. I loved Dr. Windham! I am not a good math student but he really helped me understand algebra. Attendance is not required but it sure helps considering there is an open note quiz once a week. He is really helpful and tries to keep lectures fun. Expect random yelling and he has very strong views but he is very pleasant!

Dr. Windham is the best teacher I ever had, most probably he will be the best teacher I would ever have. Calculus without teachers like Dr. Windowham could be very hard subject. If you want to understand calculus thoroughly, don't think again make Dr. Winddham your teacher.

Dr. Windham is Brilliant!!! I had to withdraw from his class due to health issues, but wish I could have stayed. I would not try to take Calc 2 in the summer, but if you are this is who to take...I would take any class he offers to teach. IF I get through Calc 2, I look forward to taking Calc 3 with him. Hilarious and inspirational.

Hands down greatest math teacher I've had at TCC. Cracks a lot of jokes he's a great guy loves what does. Gives you old exams to study from before your exam always prepares you for test. Easy quizzes every Friday, attendance is pretty big because you'll miss what's on the quiz. Great teacher would take him every time if I could.

Dr. Windham is a great teacher. If you don't understand something, he makes sure you do. His lectures are very well taught, he keeps you awake, and encourages class participation. He has a very clear schedule for how he does things: 1 quiz per week and 3 tests before the exam for College Algebra. I thoroughly enjoyed his teaching.

Dr. Windham was an angel sent from the math heavens! I have never been this competent in any math class until he was my math professor. Put in the effort, ask questions (no question is a dumb question), and care a little more than you usually do and you'll pass with flying colors. He will explain things until you understand. Math is so much easier.

Windham is hands down the best math teacher I've ever had! I am by no means a great math student at all. His way of teaching makes learning the curriculum ALLOT easier. Attendance is mandatory and he ends the week with a quiz about what we learned in the week. Salek and him practically made the math program there! Respect to this guy!!

this teacher made the class easier and more fun for me. But if you don't show up to class and if you use your phone during the class he won't be happy and he would say something to you in front of the whole class. But I would definitely take him.

Take him if you want an easy A. But be sure to take every other math class with him because he uses methods that are not accepted by any other professor in the school.

Dr. Windham is an amazing math teacher. He is very clear with what he wants. He doesn't just want you to memorize and regurgitate information, he wants you to understand it and use it in different contexts. I would hands down take him again.

Very straight forward guy who knows his stuff! Attending class and his lectures are a must! He also will drop the lowest 2 hws, quizzes, and your lowest test score if you have good attendance. All tests are written response only, besides the final.

Windham was all I would ever want in a trig teacher. He is an expert on the material, applies it to real life situations, and is thorough and fair. He tells funny stories, and sometimes throws things. I had taken this class before, but I still never wanted to miss a class because of how fun it was, plus hes a deadhead! He takes material seriously.

After barely passing calculus 1, I took calculus 2 with Windham. He gives such easy problems on the exams you don't even need to study.

Great teacher, gives a quiz every Thursday to make sure you understand all the material. Quizzes and tests are both very easy, he makes the class enjoyable and always makes sure your engaged. If you wan't to learn math and have a great teacher take him, you won't regret it.

I suck at math but he explains how to do every problem step by step and gives you plenty of examples in your notes to help with homework. I would definitely reccomend going everyday, I missed one class and missed an entire concept.

Great Professor and lectures. He goes a little quick but if you ask questions he is happy to answer. Open note quizzes every Thursday. Provides study guides for all exams that are very useful and extra credit on quizzes and exams. As long as you take notes and pay attention you'll do great.

Windham is a weird guy and really obnoxious but an amazing teacher and he's an understanding teacher and will try to work w/ you. I'm not the best at math but he made it really easy for me to understand the material. You take quizzes every other class and have 3 exams before the final. Great teacher!

My first impression was not good. He yells (to be funny? to get our attention?) and it was very triggery for me due to my past. But, he can TEACH MATH! The yelling decreased as the semester went on. His real personality is actually really caring and quite funny. His lectures are clear & he sets you up for success in his class & future math classes.

BEST MATH PROFESSOR EVER. He is loud and straight to the point, but has a sense of humor too. There is a quiz every Friday (no pop quizzes) and he gives very clear lectures the days leading up to the quiz so you will know what to expect. Even if you are not the best at math if you put in the work you will earn a good grade.

He teaches you how to do the math with the calculator and without. Goes over practice tests in class and does not ask you questions that you have not seen at least one example of in class. Overall he is a very good teacher and I highly recommend him.

I've had lots of very bad experiences with TCC teachers but Windham is not one. He is truly one of the best teachers I have ever had. He teaches trig concepts in a way anyone and everyone can understand.

This was the best math teacher ever ! I passed with a B, as long as you go to class, do the hw and review the study guides you will pass. There was also open note quizzes EVERY thursday to test your knowledge on the material.

Dr. Windham is the best Teacher I have had in college. He makes failing his class almost impossible. He genuinely cares about the students and wants to make sure that students understand the material even if he has to spend an entire lecture day on a topic. He's a really fun teacher. MAKE SURE to go to class and he will make sure you succeed.

I am not a big fan of math but Dr. Windham made math seem interesting, he has a peculiar way of teaching but somehow it works. I definitely would recommend. However, expect an open note quiz and at least 2 homework assignments a week.

Professor Windham literally handwrites his notes and scanned them into a PDF to send to all the students and teaches them during lectures so that we get what he had written down. Honestly, even without his lectures, I would still pass his class with a A because his notes are just THAT GOOD. Professor Windham is literally my favorite teacher ever.

Dr. Windham is by far the best professor I have had. I had him for Calc III online using zoom. Going to every lecture was very beneficial being able to ask questions in the chat, but the lectures were also recorded. He gave great explanations and responded to questions on homework quickly. The course material became entertaining because of him.

Would have given him a 5 but he was hard to contact via email or after hours so had to use Learning Commons alot. Would definately take him again if I ever need to.

Me and my sister have both taken Professor Windham and now I am at FSU. He is still by far the best professor I have EVER had and feel like his methods have really prepared me for my major ( engineering). He is a hilarious guy and knows what he is talking about!!

Hes highly respected. Gives extra credit even if you dont have the right answer. Hes no longer available for asynchronous or online classes now that the pandemic is mostly over. No clue how he is in person. A+ in his class

One of the best math professors I've ever had. Passionate about what he teaches, teaches very accurately towards the tests. Pay attention in class, take good lecture notes and practice outside of class if you want to do well. You'll never forget quotient rule after he slams the chalkboard for the fifth time.

He has open note quizzes at the end of each week. Tests weren't open notes but when he does a review, it has similar problems to his review. Homework was due every Sunday by midnight. Attendance wasn't mandatory, but he prefers you show up. He talks kind of fast for notes but leaves some on the board. I think he's worth having as a professor.

Professor Windham is a well rounded math teacher. His lectures are great. He goes over concepts many times to ensure that everyone has a good understanding. He gives many extra credit opportunities. He is also lenient on homework. I would highly recommend taking him!

Gives amazingly detailed lectures that are always entertaining, I found it quite easy to focus in his class. Due to extenuating circumstances I missed a large period of in person lecture, but he always kept me in the loop on what was happening in the class. I'm almost certain I would've had to retake the course if I'd had any other professor.

I love Windham! This was my first TCC class in-person since I'm a junior in high-school, and I was worried that it would be difficult. Not with Windham though, he's funny, helpful, and super respectful to our time, our grades, and our questions. Lots of extra credit and he grades very graciously. Highly recommend this guy, he's awesome.

He is a phenomenal professor. He is clear with his lectures. He goes over all the types of problems you'll run into and gives a solid explanation of how to tackle them. I would recommend him over anybody else for your math classes.

I loved professor Windham. it is a math class so I would say attendance is mandatory but as long as you do the homework and are there for quizzes/tests you can pass. gives extra credit on all quizzes and tests and all his lectures and review work match his tests directly. if u show u and try even a little, its an easy class.

Dr. Windham really helped me out during his office hours. Anytime he had office hours I was there. He really seemed to enjoy reexplaining all the concepts to me every day.

This has to be one of the easiest math classes I've ever taken at TCC, there are only 3 unit tests which we go over before taking. There are open note quizzes at least once a week based on material we went over in class, there isn't that much hw either. If you show up to class you'll pass easily

Dr W was one of the best professors I had at TCC. The professor makes you feel comfortable in class. All he asks of you is that you are in class everyday and pay attention. He is great at explaining the material and answering questions. An he is always available outside of class to answer questions too. If you put in the effort, you will pass.

I had to take trig after failing from having professor Cindy Lee. Gosh is Windham the BEST. Even though I had covid and was sick for an entire month I was still able to pass the course with a C. If I didn't get sick I would've passed with an A/B for sure. I'm trying to take him for Calc 1. I hate math but he makes me enjoy it. Take him!!!!

I absolutely loved Dr. Windham as my Trig and Calc 1 professor. very personable. He lays out what he expects from u, & helps u when u ask. he provides reasoning and background to the math and formulas. After class he is more than happy to clarify any questions that could arise in class or homework. STUDY AND REWRITE THE STUDY GUIDES AND NOTES.

I honestly couldn't recommend this professor enough. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about teaching and genuinely cares about your success. He sets clear expectations about what will be on quizzes and exams and was always in his office before and after class to help me when I needed it. He's also funny and makes class entertaining!

Amazing professor, cares about teaching and preparing you for the future. His tests are just like the lecture so make sure you write down every question he does in class. For calc you have to memorize quite a few formulas but it isnt too over bearing. Cant wait to take him for calc 3

Trig scared me from highschool but he has a way of teaching it that puts highschool teachers to shame. He teaches you all the tricks and lets you use calculators. He even shows you how to check your answers to prepare you for the tests and the future. His quizzes are almost every last day of the week and are open notes. Make sure to take good notes

If there is any professor I would suggest to someone struggling with math, it would be Dr. Windham. What an amazing person and great instructor. Math can be quite boring sometimes but I always found myself paying attention to his lectures. Drops 2 quizzes and lowest test. 10/10 person and instructor.

Dr. Windham is hands down the best math teacher I've ever had. He cares about his students and makes every class interesting! He'll call on people randomly during lectures but he always keeps in mind how comfortable people are when answering and you always leave class really feeling like you learned, not just showed up.

His lectures are engaging, he's flexible on the few homework assignments he gives, the test questions resemble problems covered in class, and his quizzes are open-note so you really get a feel for whether you're ready for the test or not. He has also postponed tests for students that were especially struggling.

I took Dougie for Calc I & III and realized i never rated him. he's awesome, he tells great stories, and he makes sure everyone is ready for the tests and quizzes. There's a quiz every week, but he made calc so easy that it didn't even seem like it. If you're smart, you'll take him. i've learned a lot from him

Quite literally the best math professors I've ever had. Do NOT MISS CLASS. He moves very fast and covers a ton during his lectures, but if you are present and put effort into understanding the material, you will genuinely learn so much it's unbelievable. Absolutely loved this class.

The first professor I've seen understands that you have more than one class. He really allowed room for you to learn and recall info while not overloading you with work as a student. Professor Douglas is straight to the point when it comes to teaching. Don't expect extra credit but expect him to make sure you know how to do the math. The overall learning environment was chill and he always wanted us to know how to do the work ourselves. If one fails this course, the problem was that they were not attending class.

One of the best professors there. He provides former exams and quizzes to study on as well as provides in depth notes. He allows for open note quizzes and is very available after class. He shows care for his students while also allowing for them to grow on their own.

Professor Windham's lectures were amazing. He gives a simulation of how things at a university will be like. However, the course content is very tough, and he does move fast in lectures. Tests are a huge part of the grade but if you show up consistently and during the exam reviews, you will pass. Getting an A is challenging in this course, however.

This man is my goat. I heard so many scary things about calc 2 but he made this class almost a breeze. He prepares you for exactly what's going to be on the test, is super easy to talk to/go to for help in & outside of class, etc. He really cares about the success of his students. If you study, reach out to him, and stay engaged, you will pass.

Windham was a great professor, only problem was grading. It was hard to know what grade I actually had until it was too late to do anything about it since he did not put any quiz grades in for half of the semseter. However, he gives you the needed resources to be successful and will explain something in great depth if you are curious to learn more!
