Horrible teacher and does not know how to teach her claa. Very boring and do not take her class. Acts like her class is a RS 400 rather than RS 100.

This class is HELL. She is so far of the wall that it is extremely hard to keep up with the crap she is trying to put into our brains. Do not take this class if you have a choice, trust me, you will regret it.

she teaches an english class yet she can barely speak english herself. her pronounciation is so bad. her accent just makes it worse. i cant understand a thing she's saying. dont take this teacher.

She is soo easy. I agree that she rambles about her life a lot. Also likes to show off about her daughter studying law. Basically u just have to pretend u listen to her, agree with her ideas (even though u dont), and she'll like you. Her accent is a pain in the neck though. I got an A!

She does not know alot about race. She gives useless assignments. You have to agree with her or get marked down. She talks about unrelated unmeaningful topics. I can't believe she is a professor. I agree, wierd! Avoid at all costs.

Not organized at all. Half of the time I think she doesn't even know what she's lecturing about. And then she talks about something that has nothing to do with the class for the whole class time. Waste of a semester, didn't learn anything. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS especially if you are Asian/Korean, she gives you a hard time.

This Professor is crazy and very hard to understand. It's not a Journalism class but you will write write and write- so if you don't like writing I wouldn't advice taking her. She also makes you take a pic of yourself to give to her and she KEEPS it weirdo!! Stay away- will u learn much probably not... If you view it her way then it's the highway.

I hate to be mean but she is pretty much useless. As a person I have nothing against her, but as a teacher, you really have no idea what's going on in her head. Two 6 page essays due the same day based on the SAME movie. It was weird. I cannot explain how the hell I ended up with an A.

VERY EASY! But she doesnt know how to keep track. She seriously went from talking about Oprah to Rome, Jesus, Africa, and then how her daughters take out brown water for the plants. I was so confused. And how she plays the devils advocate SUCKS! OFF THE FREAKING TOPIC! And its like you HAVE to be there for she drops you after 3 absences.

This was by far the worse class I have ever taken. She was not clear with her assignments. There was way too much work for a 100 level class. Lots of take home quizzes, tons of short essay papers, a group project, and a final. Be prepared for homework just about every night.

Shes CRAZY!! This woman made us write an essay on a chicken and its importance. She also has the idea that shes always right and that one has to "love one's self to succeed." She is totally looney. She always gives HW but its rather easy, so much that most of the students don't even bother doing it. She always expects the class to discuss.

She is absolutely horrible! It's an online class where you don't get the benefit of talking to the teacher and asking questions in person. And yet she ignores e-mails, doesn't respond to questions, gives very unclear and convoluted instructions for assignments, and writes in horrible English which makes it very hard to understand her expectations.

She is one of the worst professors I have ever had. Has very definite opinions. If you don't share her opinions then you are in trouble. Tends to favor certain students. Forgets to stop for breaks during class (the class was 2 hours) and her lessons were hard to follow. Don't take her if you want to learn something.

I am neither lazy nor stupid. This prof teaches based on her on prejudice; which is both frustrating and unfair. If you have another option then take it. If you are female and korean, you will do just fine.

This is the worst professor I have had yet. Does not teach at all and is highly prejudiced. She rips off any ones heads who do not share her same opinion. I have learned absolutely nothing.

First day, she seemed like an easy going, fun professor, but after the second week I had enough. She goes off subject a lot and doesn't follow her syllabus. Class lectures are irrelevant to the tests and quizzes. She makes you redo your papers and is a hard grader. By the far the most confusing professor I've had. Recommend different professor.

Professor failed to follow syllabus and due dates were really confusing. If you are lazy, avoid taking this class. She is a very hard grader. Several reading assignments a week with outlines due throughout the semester.

Do NOT take this course with this Professor. She gives you work not pertaining to the subject. She will talk about life, and her personal stories every single day (TRUST ME). Then the next day she will unexpectedly give you a paper. For my midterm she talked for 30 minutes about herself giving me less time on my essay question. I tried and lost.

She is the worst professor I have ever had. She is not clear about anything, she makes tons of mistakes and she doesn't want to help you whatsoever. People told me not to take her and I didn't listen and I really wished I had. DO NOT TAKE HER.

Honestly, not worth it. Do not take her if it's possible. Her grading is really unclear. I went to her office hours to ask about my grade and she told me she doesn't know my grade but i shouldn't worry too much. Lectures are long and off topic. Don't even think about skipping class because you'll fail after 3 absence.

Gives you so much work in one week than all your classes of the semester combined. She doesn't communicate with her students well either. If you needed help, she would ask the students to answer it for you rather than her clarifying her assignments.

I took AAS 100 last Fall 2014 with the hope that it will be worth it. It wasn't. She was so unclear about so many things and there was even an instance when she told us what she wanted in our paper ON THE DAY IT WAS DUE. She also throws occasionally insensitive comments out there, so watch out. Did I learn? Yes, but not from her.

The worst professor Ive ever had. She isnt clear on her outlines she wants certain material on the outlines but gives you such a broad topic. At office hours she will give you a lecture of what you're doing wrong but will not tell you how to better your work. And she's off topic 90 percent of the time. She also treats you like grade school students

Simple. Do not take her. She never replies to emails, she's very snappy in group chat if you ask a question. She also gives low grades on assignments and it is a requirement to watch movies in the library (even though it's an online class). She grades work late and gives a ton of work and it's only a 100 class. Everyone in my class failed.

This professor only lectures about why students should be good people and be classy. Come time for our midterm, everyone asked what the test was going to be on because no material was covered or understandable in class. There wasn't even enough time to take her midterm because she talked the majority of the time about her day. Never again.

I can't express how much I disliked her and this entire course. This course should have been driven through discussion and opions, but seems too only care about her opinions. She give too much work and grades way too harshly. If you miss one small thing on notes alone you will fail that assignment. Do yourself a favor and avoid her at all cost

Terrible. She's confusing and not clear about what she wants. She will change her mind every five seconds. Takes forever to grade homework and papers. Everything that she says is "right" so you better agree with her.

The class was not useful at all. The most important thing is that this professor is fake and do not respect the students. Don't take her class.

Do not take any class this woman teaches. All she does constantly is rant and talk about her life. She makes students read a course reader she created and do outline off it, but she doesn't even cover them in class, or outright lies about the info. Sher grading for everything makes no sense, and what she wants from you isn't any better.

Professor Lee rants in class about her life. When she does talk about the course reading, she summarizes it (sometimes inaccurately), makes broad claims about it, and introduces irrelevant ideas. She expects students to agree with her. For grades, she tells students what her criteria is and says that she grades according to it, but doesnt do so.

Avoid at all costs. The syllabus is bad and doesn't explain homework, and the links don't work. She talks about nothing that has to do with the mid term essay during class, she rants about her life. She does not tell you if you have homework and you only get 2 or 3 homework assignments missing from the syllabus. Wouldn't reccomend to anyone.

AVOID HER ONLINE CLASS AT ANY COST. SHE ASSIGNS SO MUCH PAPER, AND THE QUESTIONS ARE SO WORDY! TAKING HER ONLINE CLASS IS LIKE WRITING 5 PAGE RESEARCH PAPER EVERY WEEK.

THIS IS FOR GWS 100 Try to avoid this professor! If you know you are lazy, don't take this class. Also, she's very unclear, so always pay attention. Do all the assignments and you'll pass, midterm and final is an essay. She's tough grader, so everything exactly the way she wants. If you're struggling, she will help pass some way. Good luck!

I have never met a worse professor. We spent the majority of class listening to her life story and she LOVES to pick on people like a middle school bully. She didnt know that Africans came to America as slaves, not immigrants and does not have the decency to be respectful to other opinions (besides hers). I wouldnt wish this class upon anyone.

I'm currently taking her AAS 151 and we're halfway through the semester. All we've done so far is ONE speech. Usually all we do is listen to her talk about her life. She is very strong in her beliefs and wants us to think the way she does. She thinks that if we dont agree with her, There is something wrong with us. DONT take any of her classes!!!

If you want to learn about public speaking or want to become a stronger speaker DO NOT take this class with this professor. Her "lectures" are not about public speaking at all, rather they are her going off on a tangent about her life problems or complaining about modern culture. She picks favorites and grades on bias opinion. Worst professor ever.

Do not take this course no matter how much u need the credit! She could be sweet but definitely much more rude to students. She absolutely hates if u use your phone in class and doesnt let u go the bathroom. Also she is so unorganized and so unclear about what is expected from assignments. You basically rely on your syllabus for more specificity.

A COVID REVIEW This professor is the worst professor I have ever had do not take this class if you want to actually learn. Rude to the students and doesn't care about LGBTQ+ rights. She does not care about your current situation during COVID she expects everyone to have their camera on when she doesn't even have her own camera on. She's ignorant.

Strict grader. Messy canvas and messy lecture. Most of the group speeches and lectures in class have nothing to do with Asian American Studies. Rude to students too.

I am not one to comment, but I must. While she can be nice at times, she is not always understanding. This course was disorganized and assignments were usually unclear. If you ask her to repeat a question, she will get mad. She also makes mean comments to students in the class. I highly suggest a different GWS professor.

literally the most unorganized professor ive ever had. She is SO unclear about due dates and I honestly cant remember one thing I learned that I didnt already know in her class. She also forces us to turn our cameras on but never does herself.

DO NOT TAKE HER she is rude, unclear, messy. Her computer sound is horrendous and she never answers emails or in class questions. Very irresponsible ad does not grade accordingly.

I took her class the first day and dropped out of it the same day. She was very aggressive how she addressed students and expects you to know the answer before she asks the question. She expects her students to be mind readers and told my class that we aren't allowed to email her and could only contact her through office hrs. PLS FIND A DIFF PROF!!

She forces you to have your camera on while not having hers on. Flamed students with a trash mic and camera. Pushes her beliefs and values onto you. If you want to have the worst experience of your life. I recommend you to take this class.

Please... do not take this class. take a different women's studies class. This class might be one of the most annoying classes I've ever taken. Very disorganized... very little communication with students... will change groups mid-semester without even warning you or letting you know. It's hard enough you have to work with other people online.

TLDR: This professor sucks and you shouldn't take them. We do use the course reader in this class but it requires a lot of time to stay on track with it. THE MAIN PROBLEM with this class is the amount of group work she assigns. In an asynchronous class group work doesn't go well at all. She also has office hours 30 min a week so don't expect help.

Easily one of the worst professors ive ever had in my academic career. She is very unorganized and does not give clear instructions about her assignment, yet she is an extremely critical grader. Its been 13 weeks and I still haven't learned a single thing yet. Oh and if you email her on Mon she might reply by Fri. Please do not take her class

Half the class was group work, and my grade has suffered because of who she put me with. There is barely enough work left for me to bring my grade back up. She doesn't believe in extra credit or extensions.

Completely HORRIBLE TEACHER AVOID AT ALL COST. Her grading is complete S#!5, you have to put how much work you did (if you're in a group) and if you forget, that's on you, even if you did the majority. She has that as her "life lesson". As much as I want to type all the BS she has done, there's a character limit. BUT PLEASE AVOID THIS TEACHER PLZ.
