She is the best teacher I have ever had! I love her stories and the way she relates everything we learn in pshycology to our everyday life and real problems that we deal with. She treats us as her peers! I Love her!

She's def. a interesting teacher. She makes class fun and interesting and even though she goes a little off subject most of the time its still interesting and fun. I would def. recommend her.

uses stories to make psy interesting- VERY VERY FUNNY and cool. Covers a lot but gives great notes and time- fair to all, treats you like a peer- respects students! I Learned the most about life and psy from her. best professor I ever had.

brings psy to life with her hilarious to tragic stories. Then you apply it with your own story to make the theory real. It works. Get the hand outs which is most of the test. Took her for Soc Psy- it was more difficult and deep. Really loved this prof felt like she was a REAL prof

If you want an absolute fair classs but it is hard here it is. She curves, tests hard, on line but the stories are very funny. You do learn a lot even though it is on line. She gives her hme phone out! Will work with you and ask!

Interesting teacher to say the least. If you want a class that you can miss and not get penelized for it then this lady is just what your looken for.

She was intresting and somewhat helpful but does talk about personal bussiness with students.

She was different, that's for sure. I took her class online and got an A, so I can't complain too much. She does talk too much about personal things and had a party at the end of the year at her house.

LOVEDDDDDDDDD general psych.... got a B in the class and didnt even do the final.... although it doesnt hurt when your seeing her daughter..... haha AWESOME lady! and she blazes ALL THE TIME.... Crazy....

An AWESOME teacher! The work is easy and the class is fun. She talks about her personal life a lot but it's nothing to be afraid of; she'll always keep you laughing as long as you don't piss her off. I love this class!

Fairly easy class if you study notes given out. Is very willing to do what ever it takes to make sure you understandthe material! Also very nice teacher

very funny and will do a lot to help students-gives notes study guide-prepares you- there are no surprises if you do what told to. Great way of making you think about life- uses stories. Really cares about students- throws a party at end of semester- lives in a mansion! This is my 2nd class with her. never boring.

very fun made me want to come to class everyday if you want an A you need to earn gets a lil side tracked sometimes but makes class enjoyable with all her stories and yes they are all true

EXCELLENT teacher. She always made me want to come to class because you told stories everyday but some of them helped with what we were studying.. shes not mean and VERY fair. Her tests are great she lets you know whats on them. I loved this teacher and will take her again if i can!!!!!

Yes, she does talk about herself and her tenure andnhow none of the staf like her, but her class was amazing. She def knows what she's talking about and (I'm sure she said it to every class) we were her favorites. Class material was easy and the tests are exactly what she says they'll be. If you aren't a wuss and don't mind swearing, take Dr Hopper

Yeah, she likes to talk about how rich she is and how she is so perfect. But she says the funniest sh*t i could sit in her class all day long and not get bored. There is never no work no nothing and when she gives test she gives the best study guide. She is easy and great. Shed loves to swear and keeps things very interesting for her students.take

Best Professor I have ever had. She tell you like it is and she knows her stuff. She is kinda crazy, but she makes it worth coming in for an 8am class!! I would take her again anytime!!

Dr. Hop, what can I say she is amazing! I have to say this women can get a little crazy(in a good way), but she really loves to teach and she cares a lot about her students. I have taken all of her classes and have A's. Just take notes and read the online lectures and you will do just fine!

I love this woman. She is out of her mind but it makes the class awsome. I am in the middle of taking her class so my judgement might be a little off but I absiloutly love her.

Very Fair, just have to do the work...

Don't take this class if you are easily offended. That being said, she takes some getting used to, but she's overall a good teacher. She's not always a straightforward teacher and she goes off on a lot of random tangents. You have to almost teach yourself at some points, but reading the text helps. She gives easy tests, assuming you pay attention.

Hopper says anything and everything that is on her mind. She can be very nice one day but kind of mean the next. She is a fantastic story teller, but I think she stretches the truth a bit. She makes class interesting, but is not always clear. 4 M.C. tests. 3 Assignments. Doesn't use book much: just take notes. Pretty easy class. Exempts from final.

I am older..Last day of class she put up FB and showed us her bandaged kids...She relays experience into psy- She hardly told ANY stories and lectured fast and furious about Psychology. Get there early and for a few min she will crack and joke around before class. Very fair but if you are not there to learn you are one of the unhappy ones! A+ prof

The best teacher EVER!!! She was very funny, willing to help if you were serious. She made classes very interesting by including stories and life stories in her lectures. I would raccomend her to anyone.

Best EVER! If you did poorly it was because you didnt do ANYTHING! People should evaluate their work before they post negative comments about other! Take Dr. Hopper if you have the chance!

A few of people are rubbed the wrong way by her but she is fair, and most definitely willing to help if you show interest. Strong language involved.

Best teacher ever. She is willing to help in all aspects in class and home life. She uses lots of family examples to help understand points. If you ever take psych 100, I highly recommend Dr. Hopper. She is the best teacher I have ever had at HVCC.

By far the best teacher Ive ever had. She told stories all class which you actually learned from. Great person in general, defiantly take this teacher.

She was a great teacher. She gives out review sheets before the tests and all you need to do is study them to get good grades. She does involve the class by giving examples from her own life and sometimes asking students. Be warned do not text in her class or she will call you out on it in front of the class.

I thought Dr. Hopper was a great teacher. She gets side tracked a lot which I know bothers some people but I appreciate it because talking about the same thing for an hour would bore me to tears. She is strict but as long as you are respectful to her you won't have a problem. Definitely study for her tests, but as long as you study you'll do fine.

A very good teacher. Class is very interesting. I admit, she reuses the same jokes, she's loud, she's rather abrupt, but she knows what she's talking about, she'll support you, and she'll defend you. She doesn't use email and she does not look kindly on absences, but if you're a good student, she's a great teacher. I recommend her.

Great Professor! Very informational. VERY FUNNY! Knows what she is talking about. Does not take crap from anyone and is VERY opinionated. I would recommend taking her class though, she made everything even more interesting.

Uses personal experiences to make class interesting. She cares very much about her students and is understanding. She has very stern values and you will know how she feels. Very good overall. If you need to take a psychology class I highly recommend her.

Professor Hopper is an excellent teacher. At first she sounds really strict, but after a few weeks of class you will start loving her. Very funny! If you take psychology, then take it with Professor Hopper, you will not be disappointed!

Dr. Hopper was a great teacher. She was very funny and had any interesting stories. I have never looked forward to going to a class so much, and she made the semester much easier. I miss her a lot! Hopefully I will have her again :)

She is a Very easy professor. I took her class online and all you really have to do is take chapter tests (the answers being from the book) and write essays. Her grading is very easy.
