He is different and I mean it very different. He is successful CIO and he is not a typical lecturer. You have to attend the classes and participate in class discussions. No test no paper. Homework is easy to do and fun. He is helpful and smart. Take it and you will sure enjoy the class.

Very informative and fair. Very passionate at what he teaches, using real world applications. If you are a slacker and don't want to participate with class discussion and group work; this is not the class for you. The lectures are pretty long but ample break time are given. Initiative is a must in this class or just go kick rocks.

Professor Glickman is extremely charismatic and engaging. He is fairly laid-back and does not require many assignments, so make sure you complete all assignments! Please freely participate, he is very respectful toward all students. His wide variety of experiences made him an incredible instructor for MGMT 470. Take this class!

BEST PROF as CSULA! Take his class if you want to find yourself. LITERALLY. His style of teaching is very inspirational. Come to every class because that's a big chunk of your grade. Midterm & Final are presentations! No tests or essays! Must take!

One of the very few classes that I enjoyed attending and actually looked forward to!!!!! However, I was disappointed with the final class grade as I feel I earned the A! I only missed 1 class due to illness and that 1 class was the reason for the B+! So if you want the A, be sure to attend his class; even if you are coughing your lungs out!

Prof. Ron is by far one of the best instructors I have ever had. Expect real world experience not just textbook teaching you won't use. He is very fair with his gradings. He is very big with getting student's feedbacks. I was always eager to go to his class. I highly recommend taking him. I wished all my professors are like him. I did learn a lot.

Wish I could rate him a perfect 5 but you do have to work for that A (at least the one you're striving for) so I couldn't rate him 5 on ease since work and participation are required in this class. I really enjoyed the class and found parts of it to be pretty profound. The only downfall were there were a few things that I was confused about because I missed one class. Reading the text won't help if you miss q class. But great class, great teacher.. I would definitely recommend taking it.

Hands down the best professor in CSULA! This is the only class in four years, that I read the least, but learned the most. The class will help you to learn about yourself, get motivated and learn to lead. Professor Glickman gives real life examples to implement the concepts, invites guest speakers and encourages to think outside your comfort zone.

He brought live-experience groups from outside for speeches. One midterm take- home project and a final group presentation, all are easy graded. Must sure you do your work on time.

Professor Glickman's Managerial Leadership & Motivation class was amazing! I think it should be a requirement for all university level students (no matter what their major) to have to take. Amazing professor, two things must be purchased for his class which are two books and an EQ test, so save your money. There will be three presentations for his class, one quiz, and daily reflections. Class is required to attend to do your reflections otherwise, good luck with your grade. His lectures are interesting and informative.

Dr. Glickman is an amazing human being and professor. I agree with another commenter who mentioned his course should be mandatory. Course content and real life examples are spot on and engaging. Participation and class attendance is important. Also, the 2 personality tests offer great information to develop into a better leader/human.

Taking MGMT 4105 with Professor Glickman was the class I never knew I needed. It pushed me, inspired me, and helped me grow into a stronger, more thoughtful leader.
