Fantastic professor. I would absolutely recommend taking this class. His teaching style is step by step and easy to follow. The tests are fair and on the content he teaches. He offers extra credit. Great professor. If youre taking Stats 2, take him. All exams are basically just in order of notes we took and was pretty much open notes. Homework was exactly like notes as well and made stats seem super easy. Easy A if you take the notes IMO.

I highly recommend Professor Doyle for Stats II. I took him during the summer, and all of his notes were online and easy to follow. His homework and tests were very easy and straightforward, so as long as you do the course material, you should be able to pass without a problem.

I love Professor Doyle! His lectures were straightforward and to the point, and the tests mirrored the lectures. Homework (as always with MyLab) can be a little tricky but not hard at all. Take him if you have to take stats!! So amazing, cannot say enough great things.

Take Professor Drew if you can! He taught his lectures in great, clear detail. Didn't interact with him much due class being online, but he responded quickly to emails. If you pay attention and take notes, you'll be fine on his exams.

I have had an amazing experience taking STATS 2 with him. His teaching is straightforward. Its so easy to to get an A+, all you have to do is attend his lectures and do all your homework. He is caring, responsive, and gives plenty extra credit opportunities. He makes stats very easy and applicable

He is one of the best teachers I ever had! His lectures are clear with many example types. The class started to be overwhelming with many steps and errors that can happen but with the help of the lectures and good note taking I was able to breeze through the class. HW stayed with the lectures and the exams are personally made. Highly recommended!

Very chill professor. Exams and quizzes are fully open-note. Took online and the due-date was end of the course. But DON'T wait until the last minute, spread it out so it's not as overwhelming. By far my favorite math class, took this as summer class. Professor gives outlines for chapters to fill out during lecture. Extra credit opportunities. His lectures are very engaging, I believe he turned a difficult class into a very comprehendable and fun one. At end of this class I found math fun!! Would take his class in a heart beat again!

This class is super easy compared to the other stats classes at UCF. His lectures and guided notes are super helpful and make the class much easier to understand. I don't like math but this class was extremely do-able and easy to get an A in if you try. The class was at your own pace, and none of the quizzes or exams are proctored .

Easiest class I took all summer. Barely gives any homework but enough to learn the material. Lectures come with notes that have already been filled in so you can easily focus on his teaching. Highly recommend.

Everything was organized from the start. 5 exams and extra credit for each, 9 quizzes one gets dropped, 1 homework dropped, final was optional with extra credit. never attended lectures, prof gave us reminders every week of when something should be done. Professor Doyle is an extremely clear and fun instructor. All of his tests and quizzes are open notes, and he gives a ton of extra credit that adds points on to your average. The tests are all short and very easy, and the due dates are all soft due dates. As long as you don't put anything off, you'll easily get an A in this class.

Instructor Doyle is amazing. He goes above and beyond when teaching to make sure everyone understands. Math is a pretty hard subject for me, but he made this class super easy. With all of the notes and informational videos he puts out on Webcourses, it wasn't even mandatory to attend the in-person class. Also, the work is due at the end of the sem.

Theres almost nothing else you could ask for in a professor. The lectures are very in depth and easy to follow, plus he provides so many extra materials to help you understand as well. Amazing professor. We had some old dude at the beginning of semester who wasnt very nice but got sick so Mr Doyle came in. He made everything due on the last day of class and the test were extremely easy. The lectures were amazing too and he cared about the students. He tried his very best to make sure everyone passed. Would 100% take him again

Professor Doyle worked with me to make sure I passed this course. He always responded back to every email and gave me every chance he could allow so I could get a passing course grade. My grade is low because I did not try. If I tried a lot more I could have easily had a B or A. I would take another course with him if he is the instructor!

All assignments are due the last day of class. He gives suggested due dates though. Super easy to procrastinate, so please dont! Concepts arent too hard. 10 chapters.1-2 hw (can be long) and 1 quiz per chapter. Hw has unlimited attempts and even offers help. 10 question quizzes, 20 for exam. Offers zoom explanations, videos, and note outlines.

Professor Doyle was an amazing professor who gave you a lot of chances to pass his class. The final exam (for my term at least) was not mandatory and if you were satisfied with your grade at the end of the semester, you're good to go. He also gave us multiple extra credit chances with each exam that really helped my grade.

You can treat his course as a in-person or a online class, it’s extremely flexible. Most organized courses I’ve seen. Gave candy to class on Valentines day. Has extra reviews if you need them. Only tests are timed. Online Calculators are useful as long as you know hoe to use them. And homework is from Pearson. And the math makes sense, period.

This class was one of the easiests classes I have taken so far. The assignments are straightforward, if you don't understand a section of the homework, there are videos where he works out the problems. Class is really easy, basically the whole class is online but Doyle is there if you need any help at all. His lectures are good, he works out examples and goes over the notes. Videos were boring, but chapter notes are what helped me pass. Work gets repetitive quickly, but DON'T fall behind. I waited till the last two weeks to do all of the work and I did it but it wasn't easy. He offers a ton of extra credit, and I feel like I didn't learn much but it wasn't a super difficult class and he's flexible with deadlines. 8/10

Professor Doyle was one of the BEST teachers I have ever had. He made statistics a breeze and is incredibly forgiving. Homework is all on MyMathLab, super easy and there is normally only one homework assignment or both hw and quiz due every weekend. However, he is SUPER flexible when it comes to giving extended time for assignments! 100/10!!

I stopped going to lectures a couple weeks in, filled in notes are on canvas, super easy and clear from skimming over the notes. Exams, quizzes and homework were all done 100% online, which was awesome for an in-person class. Take this professor for statistics, I can't imagine it being done better or easier!

Professor Doyle is the best professor I've ever had at UCF. I had him for STA 2014 and STA 2023 and each time, he blew it out of the park. He is extremely organized and very easy to reach. He responds to emails very quickly. The lectures are recorded and he explains everything in a way that an elementary school student could understand it.

Prof Doyle was the best professor I've ever had. Math is not an easy subject for me and I ended with a 97, without doing the extra credit (final exam). I took him completely online, so just make sure you watch the lecture, and I 10000% recommend doing the study guide right before you take the exam because it is basically the same outline.

Attendance is not necessary. He has entire semester planned you can finish entire semester worth of work in first week if u want.

This class was probably the easiest math class I have ever taken. You can tell Professor Doyle is a teacher who wants all his students to pass. All the assignments in Doyle's class were do at your own pace so long as you completed them before the end of the class. However, there was a suggested completion date. There were 4 different exams over the course of the class and a final cumulative exam. I'm pretty awful at everything math-based and managed to pass. Take him if you can!

The best math teacher I have ever had. He explains everything so well and for someone who is horrible at math, it felt amazing to finally be able to understand. Great professor! I usually have a hard time understand math concepts, but Professor Doyle did a great job with his lectures and teaching the concepts. He provides a study guide for each exam, and they are basically an outline of the test. Same type of questions in the same order, with the numbers changed. There's also extra credit offered!

All assignments were due at the end of the semester but I would definitely suggest doing the assignments by the suggested due date. The exam reviews really help with each exam, it was essentially the same questions with different numbers. Overall class was manageable and assignments didn't take up to much time.

Mr. Doyle gave plenty of practice tests (and extra credit)! It definitely helped with exams. Not to mention, the exams are exactly like the practice. This is the first time I've gotten an A+ in a Stats class! :D

Incredibly easy by all means, with extra credit quizzes and incredibly useful exam reviews, I would see it hard to get anything but an A so long as you dedicate a bit of effort into the work. All assignments were able to be submitted at the end of the semester as well, so you could work ahead or fall behind at your own leisure.

Doyle is by far the best professor I have had. His video lectures make the material so simple. This is the first math class I have ever took that I felt confident in the material. Picks up right where STA4321 ends. I had him for both, fabulous instructor, very easily accessible outside class, will do almost anything for his students. His lecture notes he works out during the class makes all the concepts very easily digestible so as long as you understand your notes, you understand all the material, also allows corrections.

Amazing professor, I originally took Statistics in high school and hated it. However, this class was amazing with very easy-to-learn content. Also the study guides were VERY SIMILAR to the tests.

Super easy, everything is due by April 30th, however there's suggested deadlines to go by. He provides notes for each chapter, however I still took my own and I recommend you to do the same. No attendance, but you do have to pay to access the HW/quizzes. He did cancel classes on Friday's frequently, because we were ahead of his other class.

For an online class, Professor Doyle's class was structured amazingly. He has youtube videos as lectures if you need it, notes and completed notes. He really teaches the best he can and he makes everything seem super simple. Hw is on mylab, along with quizzes. 4 exams and a final exam. take him, he is great!

I'm not good at math but I chose this class over the other base level stats class because I wanted Drew as my professor. Easy to access and approachable. All assignments available until the end of the semester, unlimited tries for HW and extra credit opportunities. I suggest trying to keep within a month of work so it does not pile up at the end

Teaches you the subject by walking you through the problems and how you go about solving them. Makes it so easy to learn and remember the material. You can easily get an A and feel like you actually learned statistics if you just show up to class and listen to him teach, but he also posts all his notes/solutions online if you can't. Truly a goat.

One of the best professors I've had at ucf! Great lectures, provides extra credit, and is available outside of class. There's no way you can fail this class unless you don't submit work in at all. I would definitely recommend professor Doyle.

This has been the easiest statistics class ever, and Professor Doyle makes the material so much easier to understand! He has videos available which go in detail about the material. He has tremendous skill when it comes to teaching! Homeworks have unlimited attempts, quizzes only 1 attempt. I highly recommend this professor, it's the easiest A ever.

Professor Doyle was great. Coming from someone who heavily struggles with math, this class was extremely easy. All of the work is online and you do not have to attend lectures as he posts every completed note PowerPoint online. If he knows something is difficult he will provide an online shortcut to help you. He replies hastily to emails.

One of the best professors at UCF, hands down. Between caring for the success of his students and being very kind on grading to his extra credits for every exam, the success of passing the class is very high. He's kind, polite and publishes every lesson on webcourses.

Drew Doyle is an INCREDIBLE professor. He is thoughtful towards his students and he takes the time to explain statistics in a slow and understandable way. This is the perfect class for someone who doesn't like math, I guarantee you will enjoy learning with Drew Doyle. Excellent person and excellent teacher. I highly recommend.

Doyle is such a nice teacher! He organizes the class very well and every resource is in one place. He holds in person lectures but provides videos for the chapters so the course can also be done completely online! Very lenient with due dates and gives extra credit all the time :)

He has in-person lectures, but it is possible to completely do this class online if you choose. His lectures are him filling in the note pages with the class, but he has recordings of these available on Canvas. All the work is online and you have until the end of the semester to complete all the work. Great teacher, and an easy A!

Drew is the best. This man deserves a raise, he is so caring and relates to students. He allows test corrections and is the best prof I have ever had. His class was structured well and he knows his way around Canvas and MyLab better than I do. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to take Stats.

Drew is very kind and very understanding. All of the assignments were due at the end of the semester, but its best to stick to the guidelines he did set. It was nice not having to worry about assignments if my other classes had a lot of work.

Drew is one of the best math professors I've had in my 3 years of college. I'm honestly terrible at math, but his reviews were such a great help! All of the assignments are due on the last day of class and lots of extra credit! There's unlimited attempts on homework assignments. He has plenty of resources if you ever need help. Take this professor!

Incredibly flexible professor, every assignment is opened up alongside online lecture videos that go over the same notes in-class! Everything is taught in the most simple, concise way possible. Definitely the best math professor I've ever had, I wish I could take him for all my math classes. Made my freshman year much less stressful!!

There aren't enough good words to describe the amazing accessibility this class had. Mr Doyle never requires attendance, lets you take the class at your own pace, and makes the basics of stats easy to understand. I'd taken Stats before his course, but his notes and how he taught made me feel like I was learning it for the first time. 10/10 Teacher

This professor is the BEST. Very easy to access outside of class, and we had the option to watch lectures live over zoom. Explains the subject very well. As a stats major, this is the best stats class I've taken because of the resources given and how well explained it was. I wish he taught all the stats courses!

This professor wants you to succeed in his class and gives ample opportunities for you to succeed. Every exam has an extra credit question. 5 exams, each worth 12% of your grade. Homework and Quizzes are both weighted at 20%

Amazing professor lectures were clear and easy to understand with practice problems gone over in class for every chapter. Overall great class will take him again if I can.

An amazing math professor and i'm not the best at math. His class videos were a godsend. Such a quick and easy grader and rounds your grade at the end. Extra credit comes with every exam. A good amount of work but necessary to understand material. He's so caring and super accessible. Take him!

I'm super bad at math and I usually struggle in any math class I'm in but this class was pretty easy even for me. The lectures aren't mandatory but I would definitely recommend going because he explains everything really well. Also, homework assignments weren't due until the end of the semester which was really nice.

I didn't even have this professor but my professor uploaded Drew's videos and it helped me get an A in my own class. Watching his videos and lectures made it super easy to follow! He is so concise and explains things that my brain could comprehend. Truly a wonderful professor and I didn't even have him lol. Credit goes to him not my actual teacher.

I was scared to take this class, especially online, but Professor Doyle explains everything in such an easy way! He prepares the notes for the class, allowing you to follow them while watching the lecture videos, and add your own notes. It's a great way of learning math, it really worked for me. You should definitely take him, he's amazing!

Easy class. You can retry on HW as much as you want. Can turn in assignments late as well. There is a lot of helpful study material and reviews as well.

wish i had more classes with him, he truly makes any difficult concept easier to understand. he's very caring and accessible outside of class and wants all of us to succeed. exams were online and open notes. lectures were on zoom and in person. 100% would recommend him as any stats course professor!!!

The best statistics professor ever!! He really cares about his students (he even reached out to me over spring break). Always quick to reply to emails even over the weekends. He clearly loves what he does and works with his students to help them succeed! Super easy work if you put your mind to it as well.

I have never received an A in a math class before I had professor Doyle. He is a great and understanding professor and provides lots of extra credits. All Assignments stay open until the end of the semester. He provides study guides with the answers to them to help you ace the exam.

awesome professor! everything is organized and he makes a section for each week of the course, which includes his lectures as well as outlines for notes that he completes in those videos. everything is due at the end of the semester, no late penalties. please use his exam reviews as they help so much. he is AMAZING and so kind

This class starts out simple, but quickly gets really difficult with solving Statistics problems with calculus. He gives you every opportunity to succeed in his classes and he is quick to respond to emails. He's definitely a professor that I hope to have again in the future.

10/10 professor all around. class was simple and to the point, and no unnecessary assignments or projects. 3 assignments due every two weeks in mymathlab. final extra credit was literally him asking what his name was lol (and he gave you the answer) I'm not even good at math but I got a B in his class. i would definitely take him again

A chill class with an accommodating professor. Mixed mode so you don't have to commute to class if you don't want to. Had two exams and a final, all of which were open-note. The 2 exams had test corrections if you wanted to better your score, and the final was a take-home exam with a 24-hour time limit! I wish all my classes were like this!

Amazing online course. This professor cares about his students and posts many tutorial videos on each concept. Assignments are open until the end of the semester, so you can work at your own pace. The study guides for the exams are super helpful. I was actually able to learn the content. If I could take this professor again, I would.

The best professor I've ever had, he cares so much for all of his students and will do anything to work with students to help them learn, his formatting for the class is also so easy to follow and doesn't change so you know what to expect, he also gives all the material you would ever need to pass.

Doyle doesn't have mandatory attendance but showing up to class helps quite a bit. You are graded on hw assignments and exams. There is a lot of hw and it is on Pearson (kind of a pain in the neck). Lectures and pre-recorded lecture videos provided are great study material for the exams. Take notes.

Professor Doyle has to be one of the best professors I've had at UCF so far. Not only was attendance not mandatory, he basically made the online material extremely easy to understand and reference which made completing homework and quizzes less painful. Overall, very helpful.

TAKE THIS CLASS! Such a nice and understanding professor. The BEST option for STAT2014. Exams, homework, and quizzes were all online, no lockdown browser. Each assignment all had a soft deadline, making all the assignments due sometime toward the end of the semester. Soft deadlines are comforting but DON'T procrastinate!!!

There are no due dates, everything is due at the end of the semester so work at your own pace but don't get behind. Lectures are boring but help if you don't understand the material from the textbook. Everything is online but lectures.

this class was a breeze! you get provided so much helpful material, lectures, ppts, and worked out solutions so you can understand all content! there are reviews and light homework done on online program! you have a lot of time to complete assignments and the professor is so understanding. would recommend to anyone needing to take stats.
