Definitely a man's teacher. If I had a daughter I wouldn't let her take him. Needless to say, he has A LOT to offer and is very experienced. Very very clear and logical and the tests are not hard except for the last one. Someone I will remember.

Best teacher I´ve had at UNCW. Not only did he explain things so well that I wanted to change my major to operations management but he´s a really good friend to have as well. def one of the best professors at UNCW. don't take him if you like professional/boring professors... you might not learn much from rosen (well at least textbook kinda stuff), but what you do learn is valuable and you'll have a good time doing it

Drew is great! I've had 3 classes with him and plan to take another one next semester. He knows his stuff and teaches you practical information in his class. He is the best teacher for POM 370, and other OM major classes. Very helpfull and if you are cool with him he'll help you out in anyway possible even outside of class

Rosen kicks butt!!! he's an awesome instructor and you really learn in his class and have fun and that's what school is all about. he teaches things that make sense!

You can't miss his curly black hair when he's walking through Cameron! Funniest professor I have EVER had...so entertaining, if you have to take a 3 hour night class, opt for Rosen! Don't forget to actually study for the tests, he says they're easy but sometimes he forgets stuff in his notes.

Drew is awesome! He helped me realize that I wanted my second major to be Operations management. He is very helpful and soo interesting. You learn so much about real life stuff, not stupid text book things that you never use again.

I'm actually surprised at how much I learned from this class. All of the concepts make sense and can easily be applied to every day encounters. Drew is an awesome professor and sweet man, I would recommend him to anyone.

He is a great teacher. He's very funny but he can forget what he's talking about fairly easily. However, he makes up for it by joking with students and telling very funny stories. If you have to take POM 370, take him!

Taking another class from Rosen, he rocks, best professor ever, he has the ability to relate abstact concepts to what we can understand and comprehend, its hard stuff but he breaks it down to be easily understood -awsome prof.I wish I would have picked OPS as a major, I could learn so much more from him.

Drew is THE best professor I've ever had. I was an Ops major and had 3 or 4 classes with him. Hes hilarious and very good with the material. Make sure to drop in during his office hours and get to know him. He'll go above and beyond to help you out!!

Love this guy!! He will make you laugh every class! The exams are somewhat difficult if you don't do any reading. But he definitely keeps you interested throughout the class. I would definitely recommend this guy for OPS!

Rosen is AMAZING! He was super helpful at answering questions in class and keeping everyone engaged. This was honestly one of the few classes I didn't dread going to every week. Not only was he helpful in class but he always answered emails and made time out of his busy schedule to meet if you needed help.

If every professor was like Rosen, life would be good. He treats his students well, cares whether we are learning, & teaches us the material in a way that relates to real life. He doesn't act superior or talk down to his students, like so many others do. And he has a great sense of humor! Take him for any class possible...you won't be sorry.

by far the best class ever taken at UNCW, Rosen makes class fun and exciting which makes it eaiser to learn. only a quarter way thru the semester and I have to say this guy is good, he is extremely knowledgeable and makes difficult concepts easy to understand, he always has a story to go along with his material, AND he is always in his office if you need help-he is the best take him you will not be sorry.

He definitely makes class interesting. Attendance is mandatory. Likes to joke around and doesn't give many practice problems or examples. Overall its an easy class and he is way better than other teachers. But if you are the type of person that needs examples and a visual to understand concepts, don't take the class.

Rosen is entertaining, but can be offensive in some of his jokes and comments. He typically just discusses topics which makes it hard to take notes and he doesn't go by the book. There's 2 tests and a final. Attendance is mandatory.

Best class I've had; he set the pace from the minute he walked into the room. He jokes, makes the students feel at ease to ask questions, and is open-minded. He has self-confident in himself and believes in growing his students; I would work for him! You do not want to miss a single class because you're afraid you'll miss something fun & exciting.

Loved this class. Rosen tells great stories that relate to the subject, and gives great advice. His class is easy, just make sure you do the hw (which is easy) and study for the tests. He goes over the material on the test the day prior, so make sure you don't miss it.

I loved Dr. Rosen and his class. In the first class he lets you know his expectations and how he will be in class. He is extremely helpful and really helped me out. I had a death in my family and had a test that same week. I went to him and he told me to go home and not worry about his test until I got back. Take with Rosen if you can!

Rosen was such a funny professor, he was rated the the Professor of the Year at UNCW. His lectures are so interesting because he relates the concepts to his personal experiences and to college (ie drinking, partying)... so you never forget the information! He's so good he reconstructed the Domincan's tourist system. He really cares. Great guy!

Guys and gals, listen if you do not take one of his classes you are just making things very hard on yourself. you have 3 exams and they make up 75% of your grade. exams are 50% math(which is +-*/) and 50% reg questions. 50 questions all MC. hardly any HW.

The kind of professor you'd want to buy a beer if you saw him outside of class. Wish I was an OPS major just to have more of his classes. If you have half a brain you'll do well, dude is hilarious, best professor I've had in awhile. He's the Patch Adams of Professors, if you failed one of his assignments- you deserved it. Professor Rosen is a great teacher!! I highly recommend taking him. He makes class interesting by being funny & overall having a good personality. The class is pretty easy, show up and take notes and you will be fine.

Dr. Rosen is easily one of my favorite professors. His teaching style of teaching by real life examples make it so easy to remember material. A lot of his stories I will remember for a long time not to mention that they were all hilarious. The man is funny even when he's not trying to be. Do exactly what he says in the class and you'll be fine.

Dr. Rosen is fun and he knows his stuff. One of the few professors where you won't really want to miss his lectures. I loved his sometimes off color humor, but if you are sensitive to that type of thing, you may want to skip his class.

Fun guy, but the class was a bit of a mess. He told us at the beginning of the semester that he was looking to totally restructure the class and it seemed like it. Me and a lot of my friends felt a bit lost. However, he does know what he's talking about and is very friendly. He required a lot of group work, but seemed like a real easy grader.

Like everyone else who rated Dr. Rosen, I would most definitely recommend taking him! Uses real life examples to help you understand the material, often does homework with you in class and will help you on the exams if you have a question. A lot of his test questions come from class discussions, so I would recommend showing up to all classes!

Super cool funny professor and the only one you should consider taking for management!! He has interesting lectures and clearly knows his stuff. Tests are pretty easy and there's only a few (4) homework assignments. Extremely down to earth and easily approachable. Highly recommend! Does take attendance.

Dr. Rosen is an excellent prof. He livens up his classes with funny jokes and anecdotes from his personal life, and makes the class easier. You're guaranteed to be in stitches by the time his class his over. However, I really do wish he would've dropped the lowest exam grade! Overall, great guy + prof despite his various controversies.

Class was very easy. Rosen is so funny although his jokes get repetitive. He gets off topic pretty easily, but he makes the class incredibly easy. No tricks, no gimmicks. I didnt study at all for the final and still got an A.

Rosen is an INCREDIBLE professor! This is my favorite class I have taken at CSB! Rosen presents material in a way that is DIRECTLY related to the real business world! Kind of off the wall and long winded in lectures. 3 tests and a few homework assignments make up your grade but not much work in general. If you come to class and take notes it isn't too bad.

By far my favorite professor I have had here at UNCW. If you have a chance to take a class with Dr. Rosen you should. He is a very straight forward guy so get your work done and don't try to bs him and this will be one of the best times you will have in a classroom. Take notes and go to class he also curves all exams. HW is graded for completion.

One of the best professors I've ever taken. He makes learning personal and easy to understand, willing to give countless examples for aid. Not much homework, is collected for completion. Exams are not easy but regular studying will lead to a good grade. He's funny, caring, and a great overall professor.

Dr. Rosen is so funny and makes the lectures way more interesting than another Prof would. I would have switched my concentration to SCM if I had taken the class sooner honestly. His tests are a little challenging but nothing you can't handle if you study hard.

Dr. Rosen is the best teacher I've ever had during my time in undergrad and so far in grad school. Exams come directly from his lectures. The lectures are extremely interesting because he gives real world examples and doesn't just read off a powerpoint and expect you to know it. I hope I have again for my grad school program!

Great lecturer, makes boring content interesting. Only complaint is that he seemed disorganized at times, he is very busy professor and you can tell as his principles class potentially did not receive his fullest attention at times.

There are five homework assignments, two exams, and a final exam. He takes attendance, but he is a funny guy and makes class enjoyable. No notes are posted online, so it's important to pay attention in class. You need the textbook for the homework, but I am pretty sure it is free. I would definitely take him again!

Great professor, almost never uses presentations so be prepared to write as he speaks. He cares about each student regardless of class size.

The best professor at the school. He cares about his students and wants them to do well in his class. Content is not very hard, but he does a good job of using real-world examples to make sure everyone understands. Exam grades are most of your grade but are pretty straightforward if you show up to class and take notes. Recommend taking it with him.

Dr. Rosen is by far the greatest professor I've had in the Cameron School of Business! His lectures are so engaging, and he doesn't teach from slides (some think this is a negative thing)however, his exams are not overbearing and completely doable if you put forth effort. His class genuinely challenged me to think in a new way about business. 10/10

Great professor actually cares! Show up to class and you'll basically pass. Final grade is the only 3 exams you take plus very few homework's. Doesn't do pluses or minuses grading so an A in the class is a 100. Relates to topics you would actually understand, very funny guy!!

I had him for SCM 370, made it super easy. Light homework and is assigned in class as he finishes lectures so just go to class and take notes on his lectures and youll be fine.

Super easy class, sometimes he does ramble on for a while and you'll leave class feeling like you didn't learn much, but atleast everything he does teach is what's on the exams and he doesn't just give pointless lectures.

If you learn best from story telling lectures then you will love this class! Your grade is based off of 3 exams and a handful of homeworks but if you show up to class you should get all A's. He will spend the class before the exam telling you exactly what to study for.

Dr. Rosen is the man!!! 100% recommend to any UNCW student both supply chain and non supply chain majors... take as many of his classes as you can!
