She is a young professor just started teaching at BCC. She started teaching this summer. I took a summer II session of Bio 109 (Anat and Phys I). She is a very understanding professor and explains things well and is helpfull. She gives examples that you can relate to. study everything and in detail and you'll be fine. she is fun too.

Really great teacher.

this class was amazing.it was the best class i've ever taken.Dr.b is amazingly helpful.she will review until you get it and she's really easy to come talk to.It was extremely helpful that we didn't have to use the texbook.she read over it and told us what to know.everyone in my class loves her.

Dr.Beckman was simply amazing! took this class for summer II session and although it is a very demanding course, she did an amazing job of teaching us. No textbook is required which is great because the thing cost around $300. Tests were straight from her notes and her ability to be able to teach is amazing! Love her Love her, oh and you will too!

This was a very demanding class, Dr. Beckman made it very enjoyable, when it comes to her lectures she is pretty straight forward she focuses in the most relevant information and her lab practicals (test) are a lot fun, she gives pretty good reviews before each test, I bought & I used a lot for pictures and to answer the lab reports. SHE IS GREAT!

Dr. Beckman is a nice, young and smart woman. Her classes are very interesting and very helpful. Although I was a Business major, she dragged my attention towards this class and learned a lot. Her methods of teaching and examining are excellent. Good luck Dr. Beckman!!! You are great professor!

Very enjoyable class. She was extremely fair with everything from homeworks to tests. Class goes by quickly. Highly recommended.

Dr. Beckman is a great professor that really tries to convey the subject matter in a crystal clear form. She takes her time and makes sure everyone understands. By no means are the test easy. All test are fairly difficult but she keeps it fair by testing from her notes. Take good notes and you can get an A. She is pretty damn good looking too!

Dr. Beckman is a wonderful professor. I graduated from college with my BA a few years ago. I just started taking classes to go to nursing school. Dr. Beckman was fair and made class really interesting. I was very nervous about being in a classroom again, but Dr. Beckman put my nerves at ease with her humor and straight forward teaching method.

Dr. Beckman is super! Anatomy is a hard class and she will not give away an easy good grade, but if you study and attend the lectures, you can get an A. The tests are made from only what she talks about so the notes taken are all you really need, but the textbook helps too. She takes the time to explain fully and answer questions. Highly recommend!

Dr. Beckman is one of the best Biology Professors at BCC..Her classes are very interesting, and her explanations are very clear. Her lecture exams are best on the notes that you take in class, and they are very fair. The HW's are very simple and besed on what you do in lab. so if you are going to take A&P I, take it with her. Highly recommend!!!

DR Beckman is by far the best professor. I never knew a professor can teach so well! Her lecture is very clear! her tests are all based on her notes which are verrrrrrry good! i HIGHLY suggest you take her. you wont regret it.

If you have to take anatomy take her. Her tests are not that easy but she goes over material thoroughly and you actually learn and as long as you study you will pass the class! she is also really sweet! highly recommend taking her

great professor, all and a lil moro of what ppl mention, she if very flexable with the grading, as long as you try hard you will do fine, one thing to keep in mind get to class early otherwise you get****y seat and therefor****y notes cause cant see or hear. but over all great prof. highly recommended.

Prof. Beckman is a great professor for Anatomy I. Her tests are challenging but all you have to do is study the notes she gives. THATS IT!! The only reason why people do bad is because they don't study her notes but i can guarantee if you study notes then you'll get an A. She always answers questions and is very intelligent.

What an awesome teacher, she is going above and beyond to make sure that everyone enjoys and understand all material. She is very passionate about what she is teaching. Her tests are hard but as long as you study the notes you will secure an "A". Her teaching methods are straight forward. Anything that's on the board is to remember!!!

Professor beckman is the best!! She explains subject clearly and will help you understand. Tests are hard but study her notes from class and you will do fine. She tests from her notes form class...so be there and you will pass

Dr. Beckman is a great teacher. Her lectures are clear and to the point. She tests form the lecture notes,so if you pay attention in class ,you sure will pass with great grades. She's very approachable and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend her.

Not sure how anyone can get less than an A in the class, the exams are crystal clear. Dr. Beckman makes every effort to provide each student the opportunity to ace the class. Lectures may become confusing at times, but Dr. Beckman is more than willing to stop and explain.

Dr. B, is a great professor. Her lectures are interesting and she has a wealth of knowledge about the topic. Her lab practicals are easy but her test are hard due to the multiple chapters you have to study (too many chapters). I would take her again if she was teaching during the summer. She is also very personable and easy to talk to.

DR. B is an awesome professor. She is by far the most helpful teacher I ever got. And very hot!! Lecture test are alittle harder then the Lab test but if u study its all common sense. Im deff takeing her for Ant 2 in the fall.

She is the best teacher for A&P1. Her lectures were very clear and she definately has a way of making the class fun and interesting. If you study, theres no way you can pass the class with less than an A because exam questions are so straight foward. Thats what i got !! I am so excited that she is teaching A&P2 in the fall for the first time! Hurry

Very good teacher. Writes everything on the board for note-taking. Lecture exams are straight from her clear notes with reviews before exam. There is no way you can do poorly if you study the notes. Moved at a perfect pace. I am taking her again for A&P2

This Prof. is the best. Not only is she personable but extremely knowledgable. Her exams are straight from the notes she writes on the board for you. Study the notes... easy A. She never has a problem going over stuff more than once, very clear with her explanations. loved her!!! Would highly recommend her -she makes class fun and entertaining

Great teacher! Study the notes and you'll get any easy A! However, I feel we didn't cover enough info... if the course is needed for medical profession, you may want a professor who covers more material.

i thought that anatomy would be hard but she made it easy to understand. She was very fair with her tests. if the majority of the class felt that a question was un fair she would make it an extra credit question. Take her you will learn a lot.

Dr. Beckman conveys the information well to the students but the class was a bit too easy. I felt that some topics could have been taken more in-depth for the students with higher learning ability. I felt the course was sometimes catered to weaker students and, in a sense, watered-down. This ended up making multiple choice exams too easy.

I WOULD RECOMAND HER FOR ANYONE TO TAKE. jUST STUDY HER NOTES AND LISTEN, TAKE GOOD NOTE, ASK QUESTION AND PAY ATT. AND YOU WILL GET AN (A! SHE'S "HOT", BUT MARRIED...LOL

Great teacher! she explains things very well. She is nice, patient and if anyone doesn't get anything, she explains it again. I recommend! I wish I could take her for A&P II :(

Dr. Beckman is a great professor I enjoyed having her as my professor and I would recommend her to anyone taking this class.

I TOOK SUMMER 1 WITH DR BECKMAN, AND AT FIRST I WAS NERVOUS BECAUSE OF THE SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME THAT WE HAD TO LEARN THE MATERIAL. SHE IS SO CLEAR ON HOW SHE TEACHES THE CLASS AND KNOWS HER STUFF VERY WELL. SHE IS SO HELPFUL, PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND YOU WILL GET AN A IN THE CLASS. I WILL DEF. TAKE HER FOR BIO209

Took Dr.beckmens class for summer I. It was a little difficult for me to retain so much information in 6 weeks, but she made it easier to understand.Thanks Dr. B!

Loved her! She is a really good professor, makes the information understandable, and will help any student that needs it. I highly recommend her and wish she was teaching BIO 209 for the summer! Don't bother buying the textbook either, you won't need it!

if you want concise informaton that you will use and retain for a long period of time , use her. if not, if u want information that u will cram and forget then use someone else...she keeps it clear , consise and to the point. if you have a question , she would make the point of researching it and getting back to you ...loved her

Highly recommend her. Her lecture exams are based on her notes, so pay close attention to her lectures. She is very clear and easy to understand. She is also very helpful in answering any questions you may have. She makes a hard subject easy to memorize. I enjoyed her class and look forward to taking her for A&P II.

Dr. Beckman is meant to be an A&P teacher! She takes a difficult subject and teaches it with such clarity. You really learn the subject from her since she breaks it down so well and makes sure each student understands each concept. She will go over it until you get it. She is very fair, nice and makes A&P fun!

Dr. Beckman is awesome. She teaches the material very thoroughly, only tests on things she has taught, explains things until she is sure everyone understands and is funny too. Test questions are more than fair and if they are unfair she generally is willing to listen to complaints and even compromise. The whole class wanted to take her again.

It was my pleasure to be a part of Dr. Beckman's class this summer!She is by far one of the best teachers I have ever had.She explains the materials thoroughly and in a manner that you can understand.She not only enjoys teaching but wants everyone to take something away with them at the end of the semester.

Dr.Beckman was wonderful proffseor. she summarized every chapter in writing and repeat important part couple of times in lecture. Her way of teaching was easy to understand and very clear.

Although I got an A, Beckman wasn't as good as her ratings say. She's a nice prof. yes, but her reviews are confusing & the wordings are changed in the exams. Be aware! & you'll be fine. I'm taking Bio 209 w/another prof. as Beckman's class completely stressed me out. Assignments kept me up all & her lack of never changing clothes distracted me.

Professor Beckman is amazing. I took another proffesor previously and did not retain half the stuff I did in her class. She makes sure that everyone understands it. I am taking Pathophysiology now and if I did not take her I would be completely lost. She is very detailed but it pays off later for those who need to retain this information.

Dr. Beckman is best professor. She is really ment for Anatomy and Physiology. I took her for both my AP1 and AP2. She is very hardworking and usually her exams are straight from her notes. Her materials are very clear. I would recommend her. Every one looking AP should take her.

Stop focusing on what she is wearing and focus on the work!!! She made the work as easy as possible, anymore easier and she would of handed the answers to you. I wish she was teaching AP 2 for the summer!

Great, great, great!! I can't wait to take another class of hers. She makes what could easily be a very dry subject interesting. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to learn about anatomy and physiology.

Dr. Beckaman, was great if you take her notes an study you will get an A. Her lab test are fun. I would definitely take her again. People are crazy she looks great and I do not know what people want her to wear she is down to eart and she looks cute.

She's fair. If you take notes and study, you should have no problem passing. If it's needed she will give curves as well. As long as you show that you're trying and put effort into your work, she will pass you.

I took A&P 1 as a hybrid class and it was EXCELLENT. Her online lectures are clear and interesting and really helped me to enjoy the material. I rewatched lectures to study.Learned a lot and got a great grade. She's helpful and fair. Take her. I wish I could take all my bio requirements for my medical career with her online, no exaggeration.

Dr. Beckman is an excellent professor. Very well organized, answers questions clearly and has interesting and creative ways of helping students to remember concepts. Exams are not easy but fair and make you think and lab practicals keep you on your toes. Highly recommended but not the one for slackers.

Took her in the summer for online Into to Human Bio course. I felt the course was well-organized and easy to follow, and she does respond. I was worried it wouldn't be manageable but it was actually easybesides being fast paced. DON'T BUY THE LAB KIT, none of the assignments need it! Don't worry about this course being online and science, its easy.

I got an A in this class without the lab kit. The only thing you will need for the lab is a chicken wing, a knife and a pin. Don't buy lab kit because you can't return it or sell it back to the bookstore. I dodged a bullet taking this online. I see why this class fills up so fast. Take it!

Took her class online. It wasn't too hard everything is organized. The course consists of chapter exams,lab exams and a research paper.I didn't do one lab because I had trouble doing it and she didn't answer my email, but it didn't effect me, I still received an A. Only bad thing about her is she barely answers emails, so your on your own at times.

bio 101 was very easy as it was taking online during the covid outbreak. shes a very generous grader but takes a long time to grade things. the chicken wing lab was very easy/self explanatory

I took her online, there is A LOT of work involved but it's still pretty easy to get an A. Only problem is she NEVER responded to anyone's emails ever. And she never posted any grades (the only grades you saw were quiz and exam grades because they were graded automatically) so that's a little stressful. But I had a 300/100? Without half my grades

Textbook mandatory. Perfect balance between reading chapters and assignments. All weeks' semester are fully loaded so you can get ahead easily. Classes are very interesting.
