He is a great professor, I highly recommend him. He is not biased on what religion you are. You do have to do some work but hey we aren't in elementary. If you have a problem he will work with you, he is very understanding but doesn't want you to miss out so attendance is important.But trust me, you won't want to miss a day of his class!!

Quizes 35% of your grade (10 multiple choice). He reviews. 3 Exams(multiple choice quizzes you taken before) plus "Essays" and few questions from the book. Write a 5-8 page "Religious visit Paper" n do a 10min PPT on Eastern religion. follow this rules "come to class (1) every time (2) on time (3) the entire time". Overall a good college class.

I really enjoyed the cornerstone class with prof. DiPofi. He Helped us to discover some new things about ourselves that will stay with us not only in our college career but through life. We are all different and we were shown how we learn, what our personality types were and how that plays into our career choices overall I came out a better person

The World Religions course was very informative. I truly enjoyed learning about different religions practiced across the world. Participation is definitely required by Prof DiPofi. He asks for student input and proves through his teachings that we all have valid thoughts. He encourages everyone to research and know why they believe the way they do

I had Professor DiPofi for World Religion's and for the SLS Cornerstone class. He is an amazing teacher who truly cares about his students. He is extremely off the cuff but that keeps the class interesting. His teaching style is very New Age.. geared toward the 21st century learner and he always has group work up his sleeve. Hands down the best professor to start my freshman year. He is very interesting, he has so many activities which makes every student engage in class. One thing though he doesn't like cellphones because they take away from his time, although you are allowed to use them for pictures and such. Love him he is the best !

Dr. DiPofi is a professor whose passion for both the subject matter and his students' success shows! Failing takes more effort than passing. Read a little, show up for reviews, do the PowerPoint, write one paper and pass. Absences are worked around by communicating with him. He's been my prof for two classes. Wish there could be a third.

Dr. DiPofi makes class a big party. Videos, games, and challenges are used to drive home points being made. We did six journal entries and two PowerPoints. One alone, one in a group. Much of the work was done in class. Dr. DiPofi is always accessible and will give you the tools to succeed. I strongly recommend him.

Prof D. is hilarious, he's an out of the box kind of guy which is great, I took him for the cornerstone class and you cant go wrong with him. Cornerstone is required but Dr. DiPofi honestly made this class so enjoyable. He's caring and hilarious. Get comfortable participating because that's all this class is but so worth it. Dr. DiPofi is everything a great Professor should be. Do your assignments on time, show up for class on time, and you should have no problem with the class. Great professor for incoming freshman that need to take a Cornerstone class. Hes funny, caring, and understanding when it comes to late work. His lectures are inspiring and easy to sit through. Theres not a lot of homework and when there is is easy and you will have plenty of time to get it done. All in all hes the best.

Best teacher ever, if you are expecting to pass this class without showing up to class then do not take him because you will not pass. I only missed twice and grade went down 2%, His class is easy just go and participate, not a single test on the semester, also very inspirational and easy grader only 5 journals of 300 words and final essay 750words

Cool dude, this class was pretty pointless. You have to buy the book & you only use it once or twice total waste. His lectures do get boring after a while, mostly inspirational stuff, "finding yourself." You have to come he does take attendance sadly. But over all he's chill, and class was good. Wouldn't take it for 3 hours straight though.

I absolutely loved prof Dipofi. He's a little quirky, and is very loud/outspoken, but an amazing prof. I really liked that he treated his students w/ respect and never talked down to us, he truly valued our opinions and got to know everybody individually. The class is the easiest I've taken in college. It's kinda pointless, but Dipofi makes it fun.

I took Professor DiPofi for Cornerstone and it was a great experience. He just wants you to show up and participate in class. A lot of group work and a final presentation but I think this really helps you for future classes. He takes a while to grade your assignments but if you put in the effort and follow the prompt/rubric you'll do great!

Throughout the semester, we only did four journals (at least 350 words each), a final essay, our GPS/My Career Pathway assignment, and a group project (which was our final exam). We also did lots of group activities. Participation does matter in this class!

One of my favorite classes and professors! This class really helped me transition into college. I am an introvert, but I really liked participating in this class and I liked the group activities. The work was easy enough, just try your best and you will get an A.

My interaction with Dr. DiPofi not only impacted my everyday life but also set a standard for my first year in college. Dr. D helps me learn my way around Canvas online and worked with my needs as a single parent. His group project helped ease my college nerves as it was more pleasant than I anticipated. Also I was introduced to my first zoom.

You'll have to write some papers, but they're honestly really easy. The minimum word count is 250 words and it's based on your thoughts and feelings rather than pure research. He held zooms to help explain our assignments. The group project is just creating three slides, super easy A. Very friendly and wants to help you succeed.

Dr. D is an excellent prof. He is VERY accessible outside of class. He handled Hurricane Ian after effects well. He understands mistakes and inconveniences. He is a little picky with grading and doesn't provide clear feedback unless you reach out. If you communicate well, easy A. The textbook is free but needed for assignments and exams.

If you're planning on taking him for online class, there are a few initial posts and 2-3 peer responses where feedback is expected. 1 "About Me" writing assignment plus 4 writing assignments, including a final reflective essay. Lastly a group project and peer review. Great class overall.

Cornerstone is pointless but required, so you might as well take the easiest class you can. About two very simple assignments each week, five very easy essays, a project, and a group project. For the group project, you hardly interact with your other group members; it was basically an independent assignment. Take this class!
