he's really easy, test answers are in the library word for word...but you can't understand what the hek he's saying cuz of his deep accent and low voice..but he's kewl

Very easy class to get an A if you follow his study guide. All answers to test are on it. Great class to take during the summer. His Nigerian accent is a little difficult to follow.

Don't buy the book!!!! Never used it once! Class was a very easy A if you follow the study guides and his test review.
Once you can understand him you'll know that is a very intelligent teacher.Eary in the semester the students listed three topics of interest and he spend more time on those topics.He is best dressed teacher on campus
He is strict about class distruptions and evaluation.You are in for a surprise if you expect a passing grade without all his extra credits especially CPR and First aids.He gives few A and B grades .I was in his class last sping semester.
He has an impeccable sense of style! Dont even bother to buy the book! Just show up for the review and highlight everything he says...funny guy when you can understand him!

One of the best Cross Country coaches out. He knows his stuff, from experience. Talks alot though, but a good man once you get to undersatand his accent. A little hot headed about track. If you want to do both XCC and Track, do it.
very easy!!! no book needed just copy the notes he puts on the board or make a copy of them in the library. he gives you every single question that is going to be in the test one class meeting before the test, and all the answers are in the notes
VERY BORING, but gives you all the information you will need. There's no real need for his 100 dollar book if you take notes when he tells you to. Don't ****this guy off though, he thinks everyone is out to get him because of his race.
Easy "A". Follow directions, write down only items he says. Do the extra credit to give your self a cushion. If you have 210 points after test #4 then you won't have to take the final.
Excellent Professor. Accent a bit strong, but listen carefully and you will get all the info you need. Extra credit assignments are a must, if you want to get an A. Also, listen to his test reviews, thats where you'll find the answers!! He's Funny too
At first you need to get use to his accent. After the class doesn't seem too hard. Do the extra credit, it really helps and isn't hard to do.
EASY. Just make a copy of his notes in the library, he'll go over all the answers to the test the day before. Don't buy the book, he doesn't use it. He tends to rant on and on too long, but he's pretty amusing. Assignments are few and simple.
This teacher really cares about the subject he is teaching, very passionate. Gives lots of extra credit--real easy stuff. If you do all extra credit, you can either skip the final or get real low scores on exams. You do need book to clarify.

He is one of the best cross country Coach I ever known. He helped me to improve my running time by at least two minute. some times it can be hard to understand him, but after a couple of days you get use to it and began to understand him better.
Get ready to snooze! Wow, this professor really just spits it at you and hopes it will stick. All the material you're tested on is almos right out of the notes. I slept through 3/4 of his summer class and passed with flying colors. Easy A!
Ugh...this teacher is very easy but is weird. He will show up almost 1/2 hr late if there is a CC problem to be dealt with. And then will hold class overtime if he wants to. He is funny and offers a lot of xtra cred. DONT buy the book...dont need it!!!!!
His accent was hard to understand at first but you get used to it. I really liked his class a lot. He teaches the material very well and makes the class fun. He is a very good teacher.

The only way to get an A is if you get atleast a B on each test and do all the extra credit. If you get atleast a D on each test you can still pass, just do the extra credit and you pass. Don't buy the book, trust me your not going to find the answers in there. Just copy down what he says.
Wow, this teacher is great! He knows his stuff. He is the nicest, funniest, coolest, professor I've ever had. I really enjoyed being in his class and he seems to love everyone who works hard for what they want.

he was very hard. very hard to understand because of his accent. he teaches you 3 chapters at the same time which makes his tests really hard because you have to ACTUALLY read everything WORD by WORD.

He was an ok teacher it was very hard to understand him. He spent a fifteen minutes trying to explain a seating chart and it was more confusing then the beginning. Best advice, read the book and just take notes in his class.
Very good teacher, gives enough easy extra credit to bypass the final. Very easy A if you study at all! Very passionate about the health subject. Informative class.
This class was easy, he was a little hard to understand, but if you study the notes he gives you in class, you will pass. I passed this class with an A and all I did was study the notes, I didn't even use the book.
kind of hard to understand. make sure you copy down what he's saying and not JUST what he puts on the overhead. he tells you what kind of questions will be on the test. lots of extra credit opportunities
This guy can barely speak English and somehow got a PHD. He's an easy grader and don't need the book but exteremely boring
If you're looking for an easy class,don't take him! No doubt that he's a nice guy and that he really knows what he teaches, but his class is hard. He has a heavy accent,so you really need to listen! Weird tests! Lots of extra credit,but for stuff like joining a gym.
Mr. Agbede has an accent which at times can be hard to understand, but what makes his class difficult are the tests which I noticed had questions which required you to remember little obscure details from the reading or comments that he mentioned during lectures.
Very rude person in general. His way of teaching is more of a game for him to see who can actually beat him into scoring points. His tests are tricky. He also speaks unclearly due to an accent. Get's upset over minimal things. Yuck.

Horrible teacher. I thought he would be a nice guy in the beginning, but turned into a real jerk. Professor will dock points off your tests if you do ANYTHING at all that he doesn't approve of, including not sitting in your seat, according to his seating chart. Mis-pronounces so many words, due to his VERY HEAVY accent. Stay away or suffer!
He has a very heavy accent. Which makes it difficult to understand although he's always willing to repeat. He offers lots and lots of extra credit. I failed every test including finals but did every extra credit with the exception for one and passed the class with a B.

He made us study all the book for our final even tho the final only went over 3 chapters. Many extra credit's chances .

Coach Duro is not a hard teacher, no one has an excuse to get lower than a B in his class. I highly admire coach Duro since he's done a lot in his life. He offers a lot of extra credit and explains everything. His accent isn't bad like everyone says.
Prof. Agbede is a great instructor! If you get less than a B in his class it's solely because of the effort you put into the class. He is very passionate about health and he cares about his students. He does have a heavy accent, but if you ask him he will provide clarity. Easy A if you do the work. Very rewarding class! Good Luck!

Ok... so the class isn't that great. Some people just aren't interested in health. But I just got to admit that the class is and easy A. A lot of extra credit for doing easy things. The test is all about the notes so definitely you need to be in class to take them. Do not copy everything in the screen. He will tell you what will be in the test.

I failed this class 3 times and aim now taking it with a different instructor. he wouldnt take my extra credit when i had it done the first week and i never passed because im a procrastinator and a fast starter who wasn't allowed to start fast. the sex part of class is hilarious.The otha swc health classes are much harder though.

Had this instrucor last semester. Will help do your assessment if you come to him early.Gives lots of extra credits and made health fun.He keeps all class notes on BB. You don't even need the textbook.Accept all everyone crashing if he has open seats. Don't bring this man down with your angry comments. Take him if you want easy A.

I got an A in his class, but I can completely understand why people don't like him. For the first week, I wasn't used to his accent so could barely understand what he said. Then he acts very condescendingly to the students. But his info is pretty thorough and I learned a lot.

Difficult to understand, thick accent. He gets frustrated when the class is dead silent, he craves class participation, if not, get a paper and pencil out because he will make you take a quiz on the spot. However, on the up side of taking his class , your safe bet of passing is taking advantage of the extra credit opportunities, good luck!
Coach Duro is tight. You guys just gotta be in XC or Track team and you got the easy A grade Topshelf status... you feel me. if not just do the extra credit at least. Easy a all u gotta do is the extra credit to pass and then u never have to attend his class until quiz day hw dosent exsist with this teacher quizes r very hard beacuse he dosent teach in class anything and when he does u cant understand him so when its quiz day most of the class is lost since the quizes r so hard and he never teached in class

Professor Agbede is very intelligent, he clearly knows health unlike any one I've met. Unfortunately he can come off as rude and his accent makes his lectures a little rough. His tests are difficult, but he gives you everything you need to know. No reason to not get an A and definitely DO THE ASSESSMENT, he will not be lenient if you dont.

I loved this class! He is an amazing professor. His accent is thick but ask questions to understand. Gives you extra credit THAT WILL help your grade. I had an F on my first test and with the extra credit it went all the way to an A! Your points add up! Everything he tells you are on your test, exactly! Be smart and pay attention! You will love it!

This is hands down the worst class experience I have ever had at Southwestern. From the beginning, an expectation was not set for the students to follow- the syllabus took about three classes to get through alone. The course promises "thought-provoking" questions but offers nothing but dreadfully boring lectures. Agbede is rude and inaccessible.
I found the professor to be very disrespectful to his students. Mistakes made by students were blown way out of proportion, and I would go so far as to say I've felt pretty stupid for minor things, and I'm afraid to ask for help. He knows the material but is condescending and rude.
Honestly, this is the worst class I've ever taken. Professor was hard to work with, had deadlines that did not correspond with the syllabus, and obviously could not care less about his position at SWC. I would give him a zero if I could.

Although his accent is a little difficult to understand at the beginning his class was fun! Super easy class as long as you show up and take notes. Everything on his tests is lectures based which is basically Definitions ! He gives very good life talks and easy Extra Credit! You can pass his class with a C just with EC! I highly recommend him!

Very nice professor, is not good at communicating though. Many times I was confused as to what chapter we were on and when tests were. He does offer lots of extra credit and you can get C by doing it all. Tests are very easy as long as you go over the notes that he prints out for you. Would not take again though because class is very boring.
Took this Health 101 course and I have to say his lectures are very inspirational and he gives you so many opportunities to get an A. If you're lazy don't even bother, he basically gives you free extra credit. Just do what he's asking you and you'll get an A. Awesome class, learned so many different and interesting things about health.
Professor Duro Agrede, gives loads amount of extra credit making it easy for a student to pass. Very hard to understand due to his accent, gets very impatient. Also, he tends forget a lot of the things he has mentioned before therefore lots of the time you will hear him repeat himself.
He is so disorganized with his class and does not update canvas at all. It's almost like he doesn't know how it works. I wasn't going to leave a horrible review but he does not know how to operate his class. He lectures all the time and it's hard to understand him. One good thing is he offers enough extra credit that you can pass the class with A

He talks too much about irrelevant things. Dropped out the 2nd week because he kept telling the class anecdotes the WHOLE time instead of letting us work out already. WHICH WAS SO BORING! This isn't speech class it's exercise class. He over explains/stalls a lot instead of doing his job to take up time. Not to mention he speaks at such a low voice.
Don't even bother. The syllabus is messy. When you ask him things, he does not even give a proper answer.
