I really liked him. Cool guy knows his stuff. He is pretty laid back but expects you to come to class prepared. He tends to ramble and go off on tangents but over all he is a good teacher. I enjoyed his class.

He was a pretty good professor he knew his stuff and was really good at getting the discussions going. He kept the class interesting and broke theories down pretty well. The tests weren't easy but if you can take the time to study you should be fine. As a footnote he wasn't bad to look at ;)

he comes to class prepared ready to discuss the topic for today and wants his students to come prepared also.i thought that the test werent to hard in the fact that basically everything he goes over in class is on the test so if you can take good notes and memorize them, you should do just fine in the class. i reccommend him for your phil. class!!

I took this class online, and I would suggest NOT doing that. The readings were very challenging and would have helped to been in class for him to explain them. The tests, even though you have the book, were equally as challenging. Interesting class but don't take online.

I had him the first semester i was at COD. He was very laid back, tended to ramble but knew his stuff. He has a lot of love for the topic and is easy going. He lost a lot of stuff and would lose track of what he's talking about. but he was very very attractive ;)

I took this class Online and I did really well. When I read the 2 other comments I guess they just didn't work hard enuf or something because the quiz answers were right out of the book & they were spaced out a wk apart. & as long as you wrote a simple/clear paper it seems you'd get an A. A real straightforward & interesting one at that. AWESOME!!

I just got done takin his online ethics class and it was pretty well layed out. Yea theres a bit of reading but you got like 4/5 days to do it no prob. The 2 short papers aren't bad either, he was tough on 1 of em but he gave me a better grade than what I thought I was going to get. Im taking him next sem in class, heard hes chill, whew,thats good!

Just turned in my paper for Galic's Phil1110Net Online Ethics course & I kicked butt-100%! The quiz questions are straight out of the book, it's like impossible to screw em up. I did all 3 extra credits and he always responded to any questions I had, I had 3 big ?'s on the paper & he totally helped me out. RECOMMEND THIS CLASS & GALIC BIG TIME!!!

I'm sitting next to my buddy in the lab & he said he just rated our Online Ethics prof and he talked me into it. Well yea I got an A too, I mean what can I say-its a basic Intro. class that's easy to follow. I averaged 85% on the quizzes and then wrote a simple paper that he gave me a 95%. JUST FOUND OUT MY GRADE IN GALIC'S ONLINE INTRO TO ETHICS CLASS--B! Whew-I checked my final grade and it was a 78.5% and I thought for sure I messed up and got a C but nope Galic rounded up-thank u thank u-such a nice dude. The class was pretty simple I just fell behind a bit but caught up in the end-Completely recommend IT-HE ROCKS!

Philosophy major I'm not and my advisor told me that Ethics was a typical phil course ppl took so I took it this 1 with Galic online. My friends took a few online courses and said their classes were tough but Galic's was pretty organized and straight forward--no b.s.! I got a B+ in the course and the paper was not a tough one. Good class for sure!

Just looked on blackboard and ended with an A!! Took it online and trying to teach yourself is hard! Quizes every 5 days, one 5-page paper (easy) .. extra credit, straight forward about what he wants from you. Got frustrating in the middle but i managed. Found errors a lot with new edition(kept emailing him about it). Do the work and you'll be okay

This course has interesting chapters as well as boring chapters. If you like philosophy, it would be worth your time. If you do not like philosophy, take a different course.

If you're looking for a straightforward ethics online class, this is a pretty good one. I've taken other online classes & the expectations & grading were crazy but Galic's is not to tough & not a cakewalk so u def. learn alot about a bunch of ethical issues. And he's pretty understanding and isn't pushy like other profs. Good class for sure!

Galic rocks! Needed this class to fulfill a requirement and I wanted something where I wasn't overloaded with meaningless busy work where I learned alot of interesting stuff-& trust me this is that class. Highly recommend this class and Galic! Loved the chapter on Abortion

Just finished up taking my online Intro. to Ethics class with Galic early as he releases all the quizzes on day one. My first quiz, I didn't do so good but on almost every other quiz I kicked BUTT! And Galic was so helpful on a few occasions when I screwed up. Yea its a bit of work but its spaced out well-HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I actually signed up for this class by accident and after the first week of taking my quizzes I was glad I did sign up-I did pretty well on em-just make sure to have the book next to you when taking em-the ?'s come straight from the first few introductory pages-if u wanna do the extra readings u can but just for clarification-Good class overall!

Not a cakewalk course but definitely a good one for what I was looking for and needed. Just follow the directions for the assignments and you shouldnt have problems. And I had some fun do the writing in this class but seriously follow the directions because I got counted off for goin off on what I thought were cool tangents but he didnt. Good class

I took an Ethics online class at another University and the prof was a jerk & harda** But Galic was more than cool and not pushy at all. On the 1st day, you know exactly know what's due and when. So glad I took this class and even more so that Galic is teaching it!!! A+ class for AWESOME!

I took the online class. Gives all the deadlines and readings due at the beginning of the course. Online quizzes are multiple choice/true.false. Unlimited time to take them, open book. One paper throughout course. READ the book, and take your time on the quizzes and you should do good. Try to not miss any, there isn't any make ups. Recommend taking

Such a great course, you can do all your assignments right from the beginning, which is what I did! I took my time with them but I got done with a few wks to spare in the semester that gave me time to focus on my other classes. & Galic was really understanding and seems really knowledgeable about ethics & philosophy. Definitely 1 of the better & well laid out online classes out there. After the first few quizzes I started to do much better & I took my time with the assignments-that's the best part-all the assignments are released on the 1st day so I completed the class around my schedule. Great class & prof!

This professor really made my grade! I should have flunked this class 3 times in a row due to my missed deadlines on tests and even on my FINAL PAPER. He is such an understanding and caring teacher that he allowed me to makeup these grades with extensions (no cut to my grade). I am thankful for his efforts in helping me through!

I didnt think the ethics class was bad however his tests were kinda tricky. Class is at a goog pace and i did it online but i felt like his tests were worded in a way you were second guessing your answers. I got a B and im a A student but if you are really interested in the subject and need to take the class you should def take it with him

Such a chill prof for sure! Yeah the quizzes definitely make you think but in a good way about the reading. And the textbook really wasn't that expensive at all. Galic is the coolest fo sho! His class really helped my gpa. My trick was simple: I got ahead in his 8wk online ethics class. See he releases all the stuff the 1st day, so I would get ahead of the quiz dates. This gave me more time to concentrate on raising my family, work & other studies. Man was i glad i found a good class w/ a good prof. Took a few other online classes & they just loaded you down with busy work but not Galic's ethics online class, roughly a dozen quizzes, paper & discussion board responses. Plus like the others said, he opens up all these assignments up at the beginning so you can work ahead. Pretty easy class

Taking his online summer class was very straightforward.Very important to read the assigned chapters before taking the quizzes. Class consisted of quizzes, discussions board posts and an essay. Overall, the class went very well. Not much interested in philosophy, but as long as you read and keep up with assignments there should be no problems.

Galic's online philosophy course was one of the better courses I've taken. He really helped me out and was understanding. The course is not overloaded with busy work; it's got a handful of quizzes that cover really interesting topics I've never thought about before and he liked my ideas! This wasn't that easy of a class. You were required to read a chapter of the textbook each week than take a quiz on it. DON'T JUST SKIM THROUGH THE CHAPTERS, READ THEM AND TAKE NOTES!! Quizzes are tough and you must understand the information of each chapter before taking the quizzes. One paper to write, but he is a easy grader, so no worries there

WOO HOO! I cant begin to tell you how much I loved Galic's online Ethics class. (also took his online intro to phil class and loved it) I worked my tail off for my A i got and it paid off. Took Galic recently for an online philosophy class and gotta say he was one of the good ones for sure. He was really understanding and really cool. He was sorta tough in that I had some computer issues and told me that I couldnt keep retaking my quizzes but was extremely fair in that he worked with me figure out these problems which were my fault

Releases all work before semester starts so you can pace yourself. There are readings, then online quizzes. Some readings are long and quizzes sometimes a little tricky. 1 paper. When I missed a quiz, prof emailed me giving me another due date bc he saw I did every assignment. Replies quickly. Would recommend.

Took an Intro to Philosophy online class at another school and it was just way too much. It seemed like she wanted us to not do well. Then I decided to take it as a summer class with Galic at COD and I actually enjoyed it. The book, which wasn't pricey at all, was easy to understand and the quiz answers for the most part were right from the book.

Big props to Galic's online introduction to philosophy class. He lays out all the material really well and the answers to the quizzes follow along with the chapters in the book pretty well. I wanted to just say how awesome he was for my Intro to Ethics online class last year when I took it with him. This class can be confusing at times, however, Professor Galic is excellent about answering emails and any questions you have. The class is mostly short quizzes from the readings, 4 discussion boards and a final paper in which you get to choose your topic. Not too much work and a great professor to work with!

Prof. Galic was just an amazing prof. to have as he helped me out so much that I can't thank him enough. His course is set up perfect. Loved the online class! Its kind of a work at your own pace but there are due dates. Although if you want you can skip ahead and do as much work as you wants and finish the class earlier. also there is a paper that due but you have choice if you want to do the midterm or final paper, it wasn't bad. replies to emails quickly and actually helps.

If you are looking to just get credit for a Business Ethics class, take it with this professor. Class 75 % quiz. (CouHer,CHGG, and GGL will be your BFF). Paper is worth a good amount of your grade, so do make sure to cite and be clear on your thesis statement. This course fulfills the ethics requirement for the IL CPA exam.

Seriously one of the best if not the best prof. out there. Loved how everything is laid out from day one and how detailed it is. Didn't have that many questions because Galic had everything laid out nicely. The book is cool too and the topics for the papers are some real world things I never thought about before. This class and prof. made me think!

Galic is a great choice for Ethics. I highly recommend him. His online class is very well organized and is much easier than taking it in class in my opinion. As long as your read the chapter provided the online ws and the quizzes are very simple word for word. The paper is simple to as long as you turn in something decent you will get an A.

Don't be intimidated by the syllabus! It's pretty wordy! But other than that, it's very clear of what he expects from you. It's quite a challenging course for an intro class but as long as you keep up with the readings, do all the quizzes, and do the extra credit then you'll be in good standing. He also offers amazing feedback when emailing. :)

I admit I was struggling at times but he really helped me out and I learned some pretty cool things in the process. Very caring and understanding. Every time I had a question about a grade, he emailed me back in less than 24 hours. Syllabus is wordy, but you know exactly what he's asking for and what to expect. I'm so happy I took him.

Didn't really interact with Professor Galic a lot in my run. Shining example of how to do an online class. Everything is listed in front of you and the syllabus and due dates are all there. Textbook is required. Just do the readings and be mindful of the due dates and you'll pass the course.

As long as you put in the usual "college" level work, you should be fine. He clearly lists the expectations of you in the syllabus. He replies quickly to the emails as well, so don't be afraid to email him about any questions. Some readings and quizzes can be difficult to understand but not impossible so just hang in there. online class wasnt bad. there was a lot of quizzes so i would set up reminders on your phone because i would always forget. there's a midterm paper or final paper which was annoying to me personally because id rather take a test. there's also discussion boards. you have to complete 4/7. gives you chances to get your grade up. decent teacher.

Took Prof Galic's Business ethics online class last semester and seriously loved how straight forward it was and how clear it all was. Learned alot of cool business ethic principles and wrote a cool paper on the legality of downloading. Really great online class for a great teacher. Highly recommend!

Bottom line, one of the best classes I've just ever taken. I was a transfer student and this was one of my first online classes. I really loved learning about all the Ethical elements within the Business world (my major). Also Professor Galic made the whole experience just amazing and he really cared about how I did. I am so thankful for Prof. Galic and how nice he was with me especially when I was struggling. He gave me some second chances that many other Profs wouldn't do I feel and I even spoke to him on the phone about my paper which helped. Not sure about the previous review here; maybe he didn't reach out to Galic like I did. But best online class ever!

Yes! Literally just spoke with Mr Galic and he told me that I'd be getting an A for the course with all the work I did. It was a bit rough for me in the start but that was my fault. I emailed Galic halfway through and he really helped me out. The course is really cool, no busy work and I actually finished early with it. Phenomenal course--Take it

Seriously just made my day and semester with how much he helped me out. Not too many quizzes and just one paper with tons of extra credit chances. I took this as a summer class. Well-paced class. Have homework and quiz on the chapters that were discussed. You have to choose a paper of your choice either midterm or final exam paper. Either one is due at the end of the semester. The paper was annoying since I thought this class was not interesting. Overall good teacher and highly recommended

i mean.. it's alright. the quizzes are rlly hard. a lot of extra credit. he is open to helping you one-on-one. it was just a very meh class. quizzes, discussions, and a paper. not very interesting for a beginner philosophy class, but it's philosophy, so what do u expect? i'm gonna be having ptsd about those quizzes.

There are 5 units, 11 quizzes (beware, each of these take hours to complete) worth 75% of the grade, a 6-page paper, and weekly discussion boards. Professor Galic is available if you reach out, but otherwise, be prepared for little to no communication with him the whole semester. If you put in the work, you can get a good grade.

Professor Galic's class is a solid choice. The quizzes are challenging but manageable with the free textbook and engaging lectures. unstuckstudy was a game-changer for quiz prep. Overall, a rewarding philosophy course if you put in the effort.

Professor Galic was definitely one of my favorites. He helped me out when I was in a few binds throughout the semester and he taught me how to persevere in the face of adversity when I wanted to give up early. Thanks again for everything. Take him, trust me you won't regret it.

Took ethics online with him. Good professor, responds to emails fast. Only one big paper and the rest is busy work that we have a good amount of time to finish.
