hes a good professor
very funny
He is very funny but very hard teacher. You have to know math very well to understand material.
He is definitely a good professor. I have taken him two semester in a row. He is so helpful. You can always go to his office which i always find no student was there. Use the office hour wisely if you wanna get a good grade and learn.
Lots of homeworks, really difficult professor, do not take him.
Good professor like has been said, but hard. He has a passion for math and I guess feels that everyone else should share that with him. So that's why he tries really hard to teach the "concept" instead of just "put in values and crunch out numbers".
pierre is type of professor who deserve alot of respect from the cuny school around the country. i like him he is a professonal math proj
Very Enthusiastic, makes learning fun. While hes teaching you feel like your learning but when the test arrives it a different story. Cant explain it. Would reccommend...
He is very kind, he gives a lot of homework and his exams are booklets which means a good amount of questions. Don't take him if your lazy or had a D in your pass math courses.
If you're not a math major, AVOID THIS MAN! His tests are unpredictable and 2/3 of his students usually drop his class. He's intelligent but doesn't know how to teach.
I admire his passion for Math, as that is something I have never been good at. He knows his stuff but I feel as if his pace is too swift and sometimes if u hold your head down to write something, you might miss a critical information. I think he needs to slow down a little but overall he is good!
You get out of a class what you put into it. Professors cannot cater to every individual student's style, so you have to remember the point of the class: to learn the subject matter as best you can, and get a good grade in the process. I never took him for math, but I hear he's very good overall.
He has a way of entertaining you while he teaches math. His tests include information from birth up until the last chapter you learned before the exam.He will challenge you to become a better student.Just remember to bring your A game to this class otherwise youll get a F.
Lots of fun and jokes.Interesting class. There is often homework. He doesn't check it.Tests are often take-home quizes. Not easy to get an A,nor too hard. You can really learn sth.Not many chances to ask hard questions in class.Overall: I'll take his MAT303 class, though the class time will be 8:00 am.
He is a type of professor that will teach the course his way and its ur responsibility to understand it. If you can't understand it, he will simply tell u to catch up. If you wanna do good in his class, u gotta put time into it and find a friend or a good tutor that can help you through the course.
Want an A+ in Pierre's class? Study/Practiced/Complete the theorems for the assigned homework from your Calculus Text and you will be fine. Pierre is a great professor, he is clear with the materials. However,it is up to YOU to take responsibilty to study and practiced for the exams, not Pierre.
Pierre is a great math teacher! He is very funny and makes the class enjoyable. I love learning from a teacher who's definitely knowledgeable in the subject that he/she teaches.
A professor who knows what he's doing and can relate to students.

The worst professor alive.evrything that everyone wrote is a big fat lie. I took him and unless your have a math background ..dont take him. Very knowledgeable with the subject but he does not empathize w/students weaknesses in math Precal cannot be understood just like that!!!
Grea eacher, very unique and thorough. He actually cares!!!!
To pass this class you either have to be familiar with the material or do the homework...no easy A from this professor. But he is very clear and entertaining teacher and willing to help. Don't take him unless you are willing to do the work.
prof. pierre rocks..math is fun, the sun will rise..
he's a very laid-back, funny, and smart professor. you can get an A from him but you have to be in class everyday and willing to spend a lot of extra time to review your work. sometimes he explains things very quickly but sometimes very slow also. therefore, you have to be able to adjust. =P overall, i might take his class in the spring 06.
good professor , very funny, make a lot of joke, easy to have an A in his classe if you study your materiel. He is very helpfull.I had him for math 056 and math 206, and i am willing to take his class if he is teaching math 303 next semester.
While math 056 is pretty simple and yes he does know he stuff maybe a bit to well and has many jokes there is always a gap between the student and him. He assumes you know some stuff which you might have not learned(after all it is 056, he should assumed there somethings you dont understand if you in that class)
Great person. I had no problem in his class and did not study but I am good in Math although my friend struggles in math and she did in his class because she could not understand the material. Overall a nice person and a good friend.
Professor Pierre's is very poor teacher. He wastes time trying to be cute instead of teaching. Pierre encourages his students to drop out of his class, xeroxes his exams out of textbooks and will not follow a clear lesson plan. The bottom line is that Pierre does not care if you understand math and if you pass his class.

Prof. Pierre just don't know how to teach math. He think he hot but he is weak in math.
This is one of the worst teachers at BMCC. After the first test everyone is usually failing--does not grade on a curve. Does not give partial credit. Who ever heard of a multiple choice math exam--that's what he gives so he doesn't have to have a hard time grading. Acts nice, but seems to enjoy making things really hard. You feel stupid.
Good as a person, not good at all in passing on the knowledge he has in this field. The bottom line is, if you're not a Math expect with a very good knowledge background in Mathematics I recomend you stay clear of this professor. But if you're Asian you should be good to go because he's a big fan of Asians.
He is a good person. That is all he needs to learn how to transfer his knoledge to his students.Unless you are good at teaching yourself do not take him.You will need to do alot of explaning to your self.
he seem like a good professor but the way he teaches is horrible. He goes to fast and does not expalin clear. He dances alot and thinks evrything is a joke.
I was disappointed to take this class with this professor. He seems like a good professor but his teaching skills are terrible. It was confusing, it was to fast and to long. I regret not dropping the class when it was the last day to drop them.
I do not recommend this professor for someone who has troubles with math. He will remind you that he's in columbia univ and your not. His teaching skills are horrible and his part time teacher doesnt mean anything to him. he expects YOU to ask the questions you feel like he's there just to hear you. Often talks about himself and gets off the topic.
great professor - energetic - keeps you interested - very helpful - explains thoroughly - would take him again!
He is a good professor, treacky, but a really good guy.
this is my first time to take mat course, i think he's a very friendly and good professor. he teaches everything in the easy way so you could easily understand. highly recommand. will take him again for cal I
HE IS GOOD AS A PERSON AND HE REALLY WANT YOU TO LEARN BUT HE IS NOT A GOOD TEACHER , NO HOMEWSORKS AND MANY TAKE HOME EXAMS
i took his class in spring 07. Worst experience ever. He tried to cover trigonometry in the last 2 weeks. He doesn't make his own quizzes, and he just rushes and not caring if the students understand. He gets focused on his dance moves and drinkin green tea all day. Oh yeah, he doesn't curve at all. Many people scored less than 20's on his test
Be prepared to devote a good portion of your study time for his classes. The tests are challenging but not impossible and he does give an occasional take home to help boost your grade but even the take home's are hard. Does not curve but a 93 is about an A. A's are possible but won't come as easy as your other math classes at bmcc.
green tea specialist, from the first day the guy started teaching i was so so lost.
very funny professor. Would recommend him only if you are good at math and intend to take calculus. His exams are very tough but he is a fair grader. If you are not very good at math, he just might make it more confusing
He is one of the best I ever had. He is kinda new, therefore, very motivated, inspires you to study. He gives exmples how math is connected to real world and effects everyone. I loved idea of using colored chalk, very clear. He is helpfull, even too much explaining you step by step. Tests are little difficult, but doable.
he is so much fun and he makes you want to learn
horrible teacher. He goes to fast and does not properly expalin anything He jokes alot and always tries to make students feel stupid.he needs to understand that wat is easy for him may not be easy for others
VERY HARD. He wants you to learn all the correct mathematical terms instead of just helping you to understand math to pass the test. He is SUPER fast. I don't think anybody really understood the concepts but he still moved on to new subjects daily. I wouldn't recommend him AT ALL. If you find math difficult DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!!!!!!
Horrible Professor!! If you are not "Rain Man" forget it!! You will be lost if you do not have prior knowledge or backround on the subject. He cares very little if you understand, and instead of clarifying he will confuse you even further. A very discouraging experience!! I should have dropped him when I had the chance to!
WELL, WELL, WELL.....LET ME JUS START IT ALL OFF BY SAYING, PROFESSOR PIERRE TEACHES AT BMCC NOT AT YALE, HARVARD, NOR COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY. SO I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY HIS TEACHING STRATEGY IS SO DIFFICULT, UNCOMPHREHENSIVE, AND ANNOYING. HE IS NOT A PROFESSOR FOR BMCC. HE IS HARD...DONT TAKE HIM! DONT!
Cool professor. Teaches you to think critically. I would recommend this professor over Barbara Lawrence. Barbara Lawrence will make your life miserable in DF's. Lawrence is the Devil!! Run away from her. Pierre is very fun to interact. Fair grader. Take him!!! Don't be afraid.
Great Professor, many students may not get him but at the end of the day you have to be willing to go the extra mile and get the help you need to succeed in class. Don't miss any classes by the way to the person who made the yale comment you should be happy he's able to bring higher standards to your learning. Seriously how ignorant can you be!!!
Very Hyper active professor.May want a semester agenda,to keep from straying from "the streets". But anything is possible."My predident is Black."
OMG!!! THIS PREFESSOR IS VERY BAD...LISTEN DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS..hE DOESN'T REALLY EXPLAIN AND AT FIRST U THINK THAT HE IS NICE AND THAT EVERY THING WILL BE GREAT BUT IT WASN'T TRUE ...HIS TEST ARE VERY HARD AND HE RUSH THINGS THROUGH....IF YOU THINK THAT U ARE VERY SMART U SHOULD TAKE HIM ..BUT IF YOU ARE SLOW IN MATH DO NOT TAKE CLASS WITH HIM!!
THE WORSE TEACHER EVER. DO NOT TAKE HIM, DO NOT PLEASE
GREAT teacher. He is entertaining in his way of teaching. He teaches "Math is fun" which keeps you motivated, not boring & falling asleep. He will stay after class to help you learn if needed, will meet you in Math lab for 1 on 1 tutoring. Highly educated. If you do not get the lessons, its your responsiblity to reach out to teacher or math lab.
WELL THIS TEACHER FEELS THAT HIS MORE SMART THAN EVERYBODY. HE FEELS THAT HE IS WHITE, TOO SAD, HE DON'T CARE WHERE YOU STAND IN CLASS, IF YOU COME OR MISS. IF YOU WANT TO PASS JUST LOOK FOR ANOTHER TEACHER, BUT DO NOT TAKE HIM.
If you think you can do your best in math. Just pass this teacher he feels that you are just a DUMB ass person. he ussually compares you with the new kindergarden generation and says that they are more smart than you simple like that. really bad teacher, maybe as a person he is nice but as a teacher HORRIBLE. DO NOT WASTE your money or finacial aid
students dont bother attending his class. all you going to learn are his new tapping moves during class or his paintings
I really wanted to believe the positive comments and I register for the class. I regret it immensely. To be avoided even if u are a genius. He is very condenscending and treats u like a dumb ass person
Not good at teaching during Summer Sessions.
the worst experience that I ever had as an student. This teacher feels that because we are in a community college, we can't do better. I wonder if the math faculty knows how he treats students, he make sure that you feel misserable in his class and that he is the smart one in the whole world. never ask if any one needs help or go back to fany lesso
You must be able to completely teach yourself this material, and if you cannot you will not do well. Nice guy, HORRIBLE TEACHER!
Dwight Pierre is a lovely man?funny, entertaining, and full of energy. However, the fact is that, without exaggeration, he didn?t cover 1/2 of the material we were responsible to know for the final or compass exam. He spent too much time talking about his personal life, among other things?which I?d be OK with, because it was interesting stuff, so l
This guy was the worst. "His" way of teaching math sucked. I passed the compass no thanks to him but had to repeat the course.
Professor Pierre's good qualities are he is patient, friendly and smart. Unfortunately he lacks the teaching skills needed to help students understand precalculus. After talking to several other students taking precalculus with other professors, our class had the most difficulty and many were failing. He is not recommended by most including tutors.
I read some post and I question the posters. He is not easy but he is the best I have ever seen. He provides elaborate emphasis and will stay on a topic till you say ?uh huh? (but if the person is not truthful, that?s their fault). He really cares but he?s not gonna just pass you for good looks. If you need and fear Calc 1, take this guy!
Professor Pierre is an intelligent and smart person no doubt about it. Unfortunately for students he lacks teaching skills. I learned more on my own than in class. His class will make you confused. Honestly tutors teach way much better than this guy. Do yourself a favor and avoid this guy.
Professor Pierre is such a fun and smart individual. His class is not the easiest. He's the kind of teacher that's made for hard working students. He's fast pace. Very nice guy! very smart and in my opinion, builds an amazing relationship w/ his students. He's awesome!. Take him if you want to be challenged and are a hard working student =)
For those who believe Pierre is a great professor. You do not know what a great professor entails. He is a good guy but a lousy professor. I have never seen a more disorganized professor in my life. He jumps from topic to topic and back to the other topic. His test are poor excuses for text book questions. Avoid if u want to succed in life.
I wasted time and money taking this professors class this summer. First of all the professor himself said he wouldn't recommend taking math during the summer lol who says that?, second he thinks highly of himself as a professor and I do not agree! Stop talking about the Streets and focus on the students getting the help they paid for!
I work hard, 4.0 student. He doesn't care about how we do, doesn't take attendance. He likes math being exclusive. Doesn't follow the syllabus, v. disorganized. Our class is very behind, tests are hard mult choice, and he doesn't prepare us. Barely any homework assigned. Some classes we don't learn anything. You're on your own,& you'll hate math
Explains everything really fast and only once. If you need help with something after he explains it he tells you to "GOOGLE IT" I passed this class by learning from Google, Youtube, and khan academy. Very difficult and stressful class. Take it only if financial aid will pay dont pay for this class/teacher out of your own pocket you will regret it!
nice guy doe not explain things to well he also moves to fast as far as teaching was not clear on what would be on the exam
I too him for a summer course. He is very nice and entertaining. However I took him for the summer and even though he covered everything he seemingly had no time to explain it. He politely refused to clarify topics blaming it on time constraints. I don't recommend you take him during the summer. Overall a difficult unwanted experience.
MOVES TO FAST!!! AVOID!!!!!!!!!
every good take him he explains evrything you need to know. he wants everyone to pass with an A
I can't help but notice that his ratings are so low. But this is simply inaccurate. He is an excellent teacher. He explains things wonderfully, he is energetic, and engaging. He expects that you do the work, but he is super reasonable. If you want to learn he will teach you.
I can finally understand math! Ya, it's work and ya, it's not easy. But you need to learn math and this dude can teach it.
I finally can do math! Ya, it's work and ya, it's not easy. But you need to learn math and this dude can teach it.
Funny guy explain everything fast but understandable thanks Pierre for your help. MC
You have to keep up in order to pass the class. You have to take the initiative to do the work yourself everything is on the computer so focus/self discipline is a must. Not a lot of time to revist past problems because there is so much to cover so at the end of the class if you still dont understand get acquainted with google or a tutor.
he is a good professor he helps if you dont no something and he will also find other resources for the class to help us pass the class .he is very live and his drive is to make us understand every problem and every trick there is to no
The Worst professor ever!! He does not even teach you anything. A 1 year old can teach better than him.
This professor is one of the best in bmcc. Very actives in class,, always motivate students to learn math. Exams are kind of challenging but final grades are not based on exams he gives take home problems from time to time than put them all together with exams for final grades. I highly recommend him.
Really good professor,,,
Professor Pierre is a funny, energetic, intelligent man , but he lacks of teaching math, if he sees that you do not understand the material, he will not care, when you ask him a question about the lesson, he will make you feel very unintelligent, if you want to learn at a good pace, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS,
Overall seem like a decent teacher. It's hard to comment your teaching skills, given the fact MAT012 is a review course, and not a regular one. Aside from that your review methods are helpful and like how you input real life scenarios after explaining a topic. For example, your C train jokes.
His a cool professor but I feel like he gives more of reviews. didn't really learn well in his class.
After every test when I said that some problem was not covered in class, he responded, "It's in the textbook". On the other hand there were subjects he covered that he asked us to study such as the proofs for the calculus rules. These were not on the test. I then realized that there was little point in listening to his lectures. Study the textbook.

This professor is a good instructor. He is really helpful when it comes to class activities. Really learned a lot during the semester.
Professor was ok. I enrolled in his class over Summer session 2 and regret it! If your the type of student to teach yourself subjects then this is your type of class. He didn't really answer questions clearly & blamed it over the short time. I would attend tutoring and watch Youtube videos to understand it. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience.
Professor is Very Energetic and Urge everyone to see the Fun side of math.Took this class in summer II It was extremely hard because of limited time ,you had to WORK your ass off and rely heavily on the text book to learn the things we didn't have time for in class. He urged everyone to bring in questions we had trouble with. I would take him again
Smart man who has a passion for creating a better world in which we live.
He is a very energetic teacher. HE does problems on board and he doesnt throughtly explain them. Although he makes every math problem sound easy. He is very hands on, he utilizes computer rooms. The class wasnt boring. He just would tell you always to practice at home. I wouldnt take him for remedial maybe for a person who already knows math.
He is a talented professor, and try to let everyone feel the beauty of Maths and life. There is no need to buy textbook because he will send you the ebook. There are not lots of homework, but he will let you read book after class. If you are not a Maths person, you should work hard to read and ask him questions. I will take his class again.
Professor Pierre was a nice guy who clearly wanted us to learn but he was super disorganized, his explanations were unclear, and a lot of his work was computer-based which made it difficult if you didn't have easy access to the internet or prefer doing work by hand. I'm pretty sure I only got the grade I got because he made the final open-book.
I loved attending his class because i finally understood math. he made that possible for me. i hated math all my life but by the end of my semester i was as confident as ever. i was really bummed that i couldn't have him as my statistics professor. he's a very good teacher and i was lucky to have him.
He tries to make all his students understand the context but you will have to put the effort. His lectures were okay. He will give a lot of handouts for you to practice which is optional. Overall, his classes were great.
He is easy to communicate with and if you need help of any sort he is willing to help
I really don't understand how people exaggerate about this professor. Professor Pierre knows what he is talking about, mind you this was a winter class for remedial, 6 hours daily so don't expect it to be easy. The professor is a guide and shows you the topic but you have to study and make sure you understand it. He's a great professor!
The best Prof. in my academic career. If your goal to excel in everything that you do then he is the right match for you.
Professor Pierre is fantastic, I can't wait to take him again. He is fun, funny, and makes sure you understand what you're doing. He is straightforward and makes sure you un-learn the confusing terms the use to teach math to children. He makes sure you understand the real language of math.
Probably one of the worst professors here in BMCC. On top of his atrocity, let's talk about how ridiculous he is in terms of in class work and tests. His tests are nothing you learn in class. His homework and class work is one thing, but his tests are just absolutely difficult. If you're the slightest bit of lethargic, you WILL FAIL.
Nothing he teaches in class is on a test or quiz. He wasted time on trivial things that didn't even show up on the final. (Also he teaches like a pastor and he's twitchy, idk if that's good or bad but it sure is strange).
Definitely helped me understand the curriculum better. His energy and humor keeps me alert and wanting to learn. Not many professors can make math interesting but Prof. Pierre does. The load of work may feel overwhelming but he simply stresses practice work to help you.
This professor was very fast paced. He thought we knew things that we really didn't and it hurt a lot of us in the long run. He has a very nice and engaging personality but it did not help me learn or gain knowledge about what I needed. He should make sure that his students make sure that they understand what is happening before moving on.
He is a really good Professor, and actually cares about each of his students, and also he goes a little to fast but you will understand him. Best MATH professor (Math 206)
He's a really nice prof with good humor. I had a lot of difficulties with this course, the prof expected us to know the material when most of the students did not. This class requires a lot of outside work because he explains the topic way different. He gives so many papers. If you work almost full time DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF.
Hes one of the best , always willing to help you understand the topic and have available office hours if you need some extra help! He makes class fun . Just a lot of homework sometimes you arent aware of . But he is very organize.
I'm weak in math and I failed this class because I took pre-cal during the short winter semester but despite that I have little regret as I came out of that class a better student. He gives a lot of work and it can seem overwhelming but if you're able to do the practice work then you'll be able to pass the tests. Take him only if you're serious.
he is very fast, if you want to learn something about math, i will recommend not to take him.
The best professor of BMCC so far. He has a great sense of humor, which makes you love math even more. Replies to personal emails and explains untill you get it. Gives a lot of time for the homeworks. You should do your homeworks and everything will be ok. "Better one tomorrow!"
this guy doesnt how to teach, i am taking this course right now, and i just cant understand him. he explains a lot of theory but he doesnt work with examples and exercises. also he sends a lot of homework wich is hard if you work and support your self
His lecture was hard to understand. But a responsible and humor professor.
While I believe professor Pierre is VERY smart, when it came to teaching the class, he did not do a very good job. Professor Pierre would talk a lot about theory rather than giving examples that would help us learn the topic well. If you know about math and want to learn more about theory, take this class. If you're not strong with math, STAY AWAY!
Prof. Pierre is very smart. He knows math very well.. but teaching math on the other hand, he's not so great. He teaches more about theory rather than teaching the math itself. Many students learn math from repetition and practice. His lectures lacked that practice. If you are a strong math learner, you should take this class. If not, STAY AWAY!
Professor Pierre is a great guy with a great personality but he leaves too much homework and in my class we took 2 midterms and 3 final exams and he wants you to submit the written work and the answers in different forms which takes time and you have only 2 hours to finish the exams.
He is an amazing professor. Helped me a lot when I needed mostly because I am horrible at math. It was easy to understand what he was saying, and most people may feel like he is not funny nor helpful, but he completely is. You all should take his class if you really want to learn!
This teacher is the reason I've changed my major. He's not great at all. He's not specific in any way whatsoever. He teaches more about theory rather than teaching the math itself. If you're interested in taking Mathematics, I suggest STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLASS!!!!! Make sure you do your research before attending classes too.
One of the most convoluted classes I've ever taken. He does not post grades, so it's very difficult to have an idea of how you're doing. Question numbers on exams jump around a lot, which makes the submission process incredibly complicated, and requires work shown for all 80+ questions. Not a bad prof, just has idiotic mechanisms for assignments.
He doesn't care about you. He doesn't care if you RE Take this course. He teaches and if you have questions? Oh well, save it. Very quickly bothered, it makes you nervous to even speak to him. It's like you being a college student annoys him.
2 weeks until the semester is over and I still don't know my grade from the first exam, and not 1 maple lab has been graded. Some of the least engaging lectures I've ever experienced - it's really just him circling things in a textbook. Mostly been teaching myself this semester. Giving a 2 because he's responsive when you ask for help on homework.
Save yourself money. Dont even bother. Dont even take him if its the only thing that fits your schedule for whatever reason. Run.
The class was not hard and the professor is skilled but he would take the longest time to explain the easiest thing over and over while harder questions were left unexplained. The exams were hard and had questions about topics we didn't study on which we would also get homework on. You will not get to know your grade till the end of the semester.
He doesn't grade any exams and assignments. Just imagine you complete the course and you don't know what you got in your exams. He just uploaded the final grade on Cuny first. Which seems like a random grade. Exams were too long but the time was short. Keep uploading lots of PDFs. Doesn't reply when asked about grades.
1) He gives way too much work and little time to finish them, I received a handwritten assignment with 39 questions plus another 40 questions on webwork plus an exam all in one week 2) I didn't receive any of my grades I could be failing and I don't even know it 3) he also expects you to read all the notes he gives which are more than 50 pages
HORRIBLE PROFESSOR. THE COURSE STRUCTURE IS HORRIBLY SET UP. SENDS AN EMAIL SAYING FIRST EXAM IS INCOMPLETE, AND THAT MORE THAN HALF OF THE CLASS HASN'T COMPLETED IT. IF MORE THAN HALF OF THE CLASS HASN'T COMPLETED IT, IT MUST BE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE COURSE. WAY TOO MUCH WORK DUE IN ONE WEEK, ESPECIALLY WITH MULTIPLE CLASSES. DO NOT TAKE.
He is a good professor he knows what he is saying and he can be funny thru time. sometimes he wont look at his emails that much af you will have to remind him again. Gives a lot of online work. Some topics aren't related when you take the midterm and final. His class can be boring but when you have someone to talk to you will be fine.
Professor Pierre can be a bit hit-or-miss. While he has a good sense of humor, his teaching style is not for everyone. The workload is heavy, and the exams can be convoluted. However, if you stay on top of the assignments and use resources like Unstuckstudy, you can succeed in this class. Overall, it's a challenging but manageable course.
Pierre has a bright personality and I don't think I'll ever forget that. It seemed like me and others in class seemed to lose traction and interest quick. We ended up bonding over how difficult this class was. He grades only the midterm and final. Nothing else. Not even homework. For those considering, be prepared to get tons of optional papers.
Professor is on Planet Mars. He has no syllabus and grades based on "individual growth," which seems insincere. He only grades the midterm and final, with no transparency or opportunity to review exams! Despite studying hard, I received a C on the midterm and failed the final. The class lacks structure, with typos on practice sheets and the final!
The professor lacks in-depth explanations and the opportunity to review relevant material for exams. He focuses more on handing out sheets (many of them) rather than providing actual explanations. He doesn't assign homework and only evaluates based on two exams, he spends more time explaining simple topics than those that actually requiere it.
He is a kind of teacher whose lecture is too slow but once you bear it, you won't forget anything even if you want to. After taking his class, you won't have any pressure of attendance, assignments, quizzes anything but wait wait you might take him easily but be careful with your course that you might be missing. You can always get him after class.
Only grades midterms and finals and exams in general. No feedback, no extra credit, no chance to retake or get better in general.
