Prof. Chung is a blast. There only thing you have to watch out for is sometimes she's a little hard to understand. Other then that she is great! Really shows you how easy math can be.

Nice, patient & funny. True, she does treat her student's like 1st graders. She's great at getting you to understand, but she doesn't prepare you for what you face in Math 35. Although I got an A in both 52 & 35, I stuggled terribly with 35 especially at the beginning. If you have to continue onto Math 35, I'd take Frewing or Parks.

This teacher uses a textbook that makes it easy to follow directions and learn math problems. Math is not one of my best subjects and she makes it easy and fun and I would definently take her again for a different math class.

HER TESTS ARE SOMEWHAT EASY, THE QUIZZES ARE EASY. SOMETIMES SHE LETS U USE UR NOTES. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE WHO STRUGGLES WITH MATH.

Easy teacher and very helpful! She's very silly and likes to make jokes and at times it gets annoying, but overall she is SUPER easy. I did all my homework during lecture because what we learned was so easy. I highly recommend her if you want that easy A!

She was a great professor. She is really clear in her lectures. She gives plenty of examples. Test and quizzes reflect the homework so much it seems they are copies of each other. She gives plenty of after and before class help. Chung is one of the little amount of professors that actually care about your grade. Love this professor. Def take your next math section with her.

She is really easy. My class was half online-half in class. If you have a question just ask & she will help you. Falling behind on homework is easy to do since its online. You have to stay disciplined. She usually extends the deadlines though. For the tests, they are easy just make sure you understand the study guides because they are very similar.

SHE IS THE COOLEST. She is really nice and helpful. She really cares about her students. She also has a lot of patience and she'll help you out until you finally understand it. She is also funny! I definitely recommend her !

she is such an amazing teacher but if you don't listen to her lectures and pay attention you will have a hard time on the tests also be sure to do her study guides half the questions on the tests come from there she is a very helpful person too just be on her good side she puts up a front by trying to act mean at first lol

She is very helpful! I took the hybrid classes. For me it was too difficult to do the work and then learn the section. I still managed to get an "A" but struggled in a subject I have never had an issue with.. She works really hard to make sure we understand!!I would recommend her but consider the face-to-face class...

Well I took this online and I have to say this class isn't easy. I suggest if your good at math and teaching yourself then you should do fine. Since this class is 5 units there is a lot of studying, doing homework, quizzes for each chapter, midterm, and a final. Teacher is very organized on her expectations and what she expects.

Online only class. Book is needed and overpriced. Never met or seen Ms.Chung, although very helpful. I don't recommend an online math class, had to teach myself most things. Online assignments/tests were easy since you can check your answers on mathway first. Midterm and Final are taken on-campus only. Got an A.

Great teacher!!She loves what she does and it shows in her students success. I took her online elementary Algebra class got a C. I took for Intermediate Algebra class earned a B in her face to face class. Count your blessings if you get to take her.

Extremely sweet woman. Cares a lot about your success and will always take time, during or after class, to explain things to you. This will not be a difficult class as long as you pay attention and do the homework! I still would recommend getting a book though... sometimes she can be a bit hard to understand so it's good to use the book, too.

I took a hybrid class, so homework was online, but tests were in-class. Chung is a great teacher! She wants you to pass with an A, so she'll explain things extra in-depth and sometimes gives extra credit for attendance. Her accent can be thick if she talks too fast, but just read the board and you'll be fine. :) Best math teacher I've ever had!

The best math professor I have taken so far. She does everything she can to help her students succeed in her class. She drills and elaborates the information for better understanding. Her techniques make math easier to grasp and is very forgiving if you're not doing well. She knows math isn't for everyone and that's something to appreciate.

At first, you'll be uneasy. However, as the semester continues you'll feel more comfortable with her. If you have a rough time with math in general, I recommend her. She offers three workshops throughout EVERY week if you're confused. Very helpful. It is a hybrid, so everything is online. Such as, homework, textbook, etc. Tests & quizzes in class!

She's an amazing. She'll take her time to make sure you understand the work. There are group quizzes for the class, the first section is worked together as a group and the second part you do alone. Test are multiple choice. She even does a pre-test which will show you what will be on the test. She great and she helped me. I suck in math, take her.

She gives out study guides that are exactly like tests only with different numbers. Her quizzes are fair, she does the first half as a group quiz and the second half you do on your own but they're not multiple choice like the tests. Take her and you will pass, she cares about a student's success when it comes to understanding the material.

She said is an awesome teacher, I'm in her Hybrid class, I attend all the workshops in case you didn't understand something in class. The homework is similar to the tests so you get the concept, she gives extra credit and actually cares about her students passing. She takes her own personal time after class to hold these workshops when you don't understand something

Ms. Chung is amazing. She genuinely wants her students to succeed. She would tend to repeat the same things over and over until everyone in class got it. That was great for everyone except us who understood the first time. Overall she was a great teacher and her study guides were very helpful and she would go over them in class for clarity.

For someone who is horrible at math, Professor Chung was a real miracle. I've taken math 35 twice, and both times were horrible. For the first time I have passed math 35, and not only that, I was actually able to learn. If you really struggle with math, I recommend leaving time (30 mins.) before and after her class so you can attend her workshops.

I highly recommend Professor Chung for Math 35. The first time I took this class with a different professor, I failed. I have always struggled with math, but felt like this online course had more resources than a regular class. I felt like the professor really just wanted me to do well and actually cared. Study guides for finals were also helpful.

So ms. chung is so funny i loved taking her for this past semester in math 65. Ne prepared though she does give quizzes to ensure that you know the material but tests are easy and also if you take notes and do the worksheets she lets you use these as extra credit the days of tests. She is very sweet and cares so much.

Awesome teacher! I was a little unsure at first especially with her accent... but I was able to understand fine for the most part. The worksheets she provides are very helpful. I was able to ace some of the chapter tests because of her worksheets and her after class workshops. She is a caring teacher who will do her best to make sure you pass.

Good teacher overall. She too lenient in my opinion. She ended up making all the homework due at the end of the semester. I don't think that was a good idea, but it still worked out. She is better than the math prof I have now. She really tries to help and you shouldn't be afraid to ask her anything. My only complaint is no calculators allowed.

I took Math 36 Trigonometry with Professor Chung. I wan't sure I would do well in the class, but she made the material very understandable. She also spent a great deal of time doing ConferZoom workshops and answering questions. She was more available than instructors I had in other classes. I would definitely take her again.

The class is easy to understand and taking notes and studying examples helped me a lot! I was at first failing the class but raised my grade to a B when she reopened quizzes and hw. She was understanding whenever I needed extra days to finish hw. Manage your time well and ask for help! Quizzes are worth a lot of points but you get 3 tries.
