Earik was an amazing professor, he cares a lot about his students and their education!

I am horrible at math but with Middleton, he does all that he can to make sure that his students understand. After every problem, hell ask the students if they get it before moving forward because he feels that nobody should be left behind. Hes very funny and understanding. He cares a lot about his students success and offers extra credit.

Overall, Earik is a really solid and awesome professor. If you struggle in Mathematics, he is extremely helpful and will go above and beyond to help you understand the material. Professor Middleton truly cares about his students. He will do anything in his power to help those who want to succeed, but you have to be willing to work for it. He is a highly intelligent man and very knowledgeable of the material (unlike most professors.) Would absolutely take him again.

HOWEVER, if you are a student who tends to be slick with the mouth, he certainly is not the professor for you because Earik does not tolerate disrespect. Earick is very good at explaining the concepts, and you leave his class with no questions on how to do the work. He takes time to make sure everyone knows the material. He is also very witty, funny, relatable, and easy to get along with. If you are taking a hard course, make sure he's your professor so that you are able to understand the material.

He is one of the kindest & most caring professors I've taken thus far. He offers so many opportunities for extra credit bc he wants to see his students succeed. I was so happy everytime I understood what I was learning in class, if I felt out of place he was there for reassurance for all his students. He helped out so much and made sure we were not lost in any topic. Earik is a funny professor and loves to have fun. He cares about the students and their success. He is relatable and humble, plus he fed the class from time to time.

Professor Middleton really takes the time to make sure that students understand material. He is nice and relatable, this makes him able to explain in a way that a student can easily grasp but if you don't, he'll explain it in a way that you can.

Professor Earik is great! I got a low gd because I didn't put an effort on doing my homework and really studying hard. Overall he is easy to pass, just do your HW, study and do good on the exams and you will pass. With exams he goes by the rules of the Math dept, so exams can be tough sometimes. He gives you opportunities to pass and thats great!!!

Professor Middleton has been one of the best professor I've had thus far. Being that Statistics is not an easy subject, he made sure the class understood the material. Hosted reviews for exams, provided extra credit and created his own YouTube channel with lessons which we could use as a guide. I recommend him and would definitely take him again!

Statistics may not be easy for some people, but he provides a lot of time for tutoring and explains the question you're trying to figure out until you get it. He is very understanding and answers emails pretty quickly. Math made easy with this guy!

Very nice professor. He has a lot of assignments so if you slack it will be harder to catch up but if you do everything as he gives it you will be fine. He is very understanding and you won't fail his class unless you just don't show up. His study sessions are so helpful and if you go to them before the midterm/final you will pass. I would retake!

Middleton has been one of the most caring professors I have had through my years in John Jay. He is extremely funny and often encouraged us through this entire online semester. For class, he uploaded complete videos explaining everything that you need to know as well as reviews for the exams/labs. 3 labs, homework, extra credit, and 3 exams.

Professor Middleton is a blessing! This is because he has helped me tutor for my stats class and the final exam. He really helped me grasped the material for the final exam because I was unsure about some topics in the exam. He has helped ace the exam. I can't thanked him enough!

I took Professor Middleton for my first semester in college and back to in person learning and he made me want to go to math class. I have never been good at math and I have been grasping and passing my exams. 3 exams and one final. 14 homework assignments due by the end of the semester and he reviews exams beforehand! 10/10.

I love this prof. He's fun, interactive, super understanding and takes his time to make sure EVERYONE understands the work. Gives homework all the time but it's all due at the end to the semester.

This class wasn't easy but I knew it going in. However Professor E made it understandable and applicable. I never once felt like I was failing which is a shocker to me. Only thing I'd wish was different was having in class reviews but he did make review sheets and videos.

Took STA250 winter course (three weeks). Professor Earik is the kindest soul I've met. It was in person but he switched to virtual. Opportunities to retake exams for grade boosts, and extra credit for the bare minimum. 110% would take him again if I needed anymore math courses.

I took him over the summer and he was by far the best math teacher Ive ever had. His lectures are so easy to understand, he replies to emails quickly, and creates great review sheets. I passed with flying colors and Im not that great at math so definitely take him.

Best 8am Friday class I could ask for. Homeworks are due monthly so you can go at your own pace. Gave multiple breaks during 2hr 15min lecture. Understands that people hate math and vents about his own hard math classes. Genuinely cares about student's well-being and understanding of the course. Constantly asks if anyone needs clarification.
