Dr. Wright is extremely funny and laid back. (always late to his own classes) His lectures are never boring and he gives a lot of quizzes (easy to avg.), one easy paper, and mult. choice tests. Highly intelligent and knowledgeable.

very fun guy. a few quizzes sometimes with extra credit. they are easy if you study. 1 report but also fairly easy. i did it in one night for about 4 hours and made an A.

colorful lecture voice draws you into his words/lots of laughs/neat extra info that can be fun/take if you are a psych major/a lil tough but he knows how to teach so that everyone learns-no drops in a 22 person class--he's that good

I hated this class and did not care much for the teacher either. Probably one of the worst professors and best professors I've had all at the same time.

Good teacher. Got an A in his class. Read the book & study your notes (which isn't hard to do since Psyc isn't boring) and you're good to go. I learned a good amt in this class.

he is very intelligent, his class is not boring. he tell you to read the book I never did. I had the study guide too. all of his quizes or test came from there exactly like in the guide, so buy it. Took psych the intro. purpule book

Took him over the summer and it was a great class. He is very intelligent and funny. Read the text and take good notes and you will definately get an A.

Glad to see he's still teaching. I had him in 1977 and it was a very enjoyable class. From the comments I've read I see he hasn't changed a bit.

Currently taking spring 05, nice man, funny at times, quizzes easy if u study his notes and memorize!! Good notes, don't read book, only read summary and memorize definitions. Paper simple, do some research, spend 3-4 hrs., you'll get an A. I'll prob get an B in class

I think this prof is great. The paper we had to do I did the night before and got an A. His quizes are real easy as long as you study. Has an upbeat personality. I 100% recomend him for psych.

I liked Dr Wright. I Aced 2 quizes and got an A+ on the paper but still got a B "?". You have to read the chapter at least 2 times and take very good notes. Sometimes test are hard because they are very subjective.

What a riot. Comes to class every day late, so please don't worry about being tardy. Very helpful and understanding of extenuating circumstances and outside interferences. Can be tough to decide what is going to be on the tests and quizzes.

great professor. he used to be vice president of the college. very knowledgable and fair. don't worry about asking questions. i asked a ton. just make sure YOU know what you are asking. quizes are easy, but the final is tough. only read chapter summaries. easy B if not A

Awesome class! I took it in the summer and it was VERY interesting. Wright is a really smart and funny guy and is easy to get along with. He did come 15 minutes late to my 8:40 class everyday but he never kept us longer. Quizzes and Midterm were really easy, the Final was a little harder (easy B if you studied at all). I want to take him again.

I think he's a good teacher. Yeah the class gets kinda boring but his notes are pertty thorough. make sure you read the chapter summary's. He is easy to ask questions also!

I loved this teacher! I got up in the morning to come to his class. His test are difficult, but you come away with so much knowledge. I still remember most of what I learned. He is incredibly funny, and I wish I could have him again as a prof!

I love Dr. Wright. He is funny, articulate, easy to understand, makes sure you comprehend the subject. Always late to class, which is great for working students. Good tests, not easy. Makes you think. I will take him again if given the chance. Great Professor.

Excellent teacher. Do the assigned reading and participate in his hilarious lectures and you will do great in his class. Always shows up late. Lazy people who do not do their work should avoid this teacher, as he has a tendency to ridicule said lazy people. No pop quizzes, quizzes are always announced the class before.

I really enjoyed having Dr Wright as my Psych Professor. He made learning fun and interesting. I would reccomend this class and this professor to anyone. I admit that there were times when it was a trying class and stressful, but it was well worth it.

Dr wright was a great teacher. I wish he taught more classes other then intro to psych. This class is an easy A if you take good notes and listen to his lecture. Don't worry about being late cause he's always late. He does a very good job of explaining everything.

Never touched the book just went to class and took notes. Gives good examples you will learn a lot. Lots of questions from old quizzes on final exam. Makes you think and very funny and entertaining. Easy A

Dr. Wright is unbelievably amazing! His stories are very informative and INTERESTING and his tests are verbatim to his lectures. He also gives lots of extra credit on your exams and drops your lowest test grade for an even greater opportunity to make an 'A.' I would highly recommend him to anyone!

My favorite prof. ever very awsome guy!

Good professor. He is always very comprehensive in all of his lectures. Quizzes are relatively easy, but the mid-term and final exams are more difficult. The only issue is that he is often several minutes late to class.

Awesome, intelligent teacher. He seems to know everything and will explain if you ask for help. He comes off as very intimidating and will sorta of scare you. Make sure to read the chapters and take good notes. Tests and quizzes are comprehensive so make sure to understand concepts

Dr. Wright has changed my veiw on alot of things. If your taking general psych take this guy! He isnt an easy teacher, he makes you think alot which in return helps you learn. I'm taking him again for psych next year. The final was very easy compared to the mid-term.

This guy is awesome. He made everything easy to understand. He joked around alot with the class, he's very funny. I thought his tests were easy...if you payed attention and took good notes.

I will tell you right now Dr Wright was a blast. He does not make it easy. He gives a ton of notes and expects you to be an adult. If you are a lazy student then don't even bother. He will help you when you need it, I did not pass 4 out of 6 quizzes and his final was hard. His research paper is so easy it was crazy.

There's something about this professor that makes him great. Seems serious, but has a sense of humor.

Hands down an awesome teacher! One of the best i've ever had. If you are the lazy type then this class is not for you. His whole purpose in his class is to make you think. MUST TAKE NOTES! Extremely helpful and will help you with anything you don't understand. A+++

This teacher will be late everyday to class, is very clear, knows how to give good examples and good lectures but you must always take good notes. Also he knows how to make you feel stupid when you ask a question. He has a tendency to immediately give quizzes (literally minutes) after finishing a chapter. I won't be taking a class with him again.

I love this class! This teacher is great. He really makes you think and is fair. If you think you can slack off, this class isn't for you. But, if you want to learn and have some good laughs, you'll like him. Keep up with his lectures and take notes, read and listen and you'll be fine =)

I believe he was an awesome teacher...every teacher has their flaws , but his were minimal. he does speak a little fast and does not give study guides for the mid term or final.. His test are very difficult and you have to have to write a lot of notes.. those are not just bad things, beacause i did learn a lot

good teacher. you have to read the book at home it was rare that i ever used my book. i got all a's on my quizes they were really easy. take good notes and you will do GREAT! he kinda sounds like morgan freeman at times

This class was fun, and pretty easy compaired to others. Prof gives good examples, and you have to pay attention and write notes to pass, but that's a good thing. Basically if you pay attention, you'll pass. He tends to speak fast, and it's hard to hear him sometimes. Over-all, great Prof and an awsome class!!!

is very easy and funny! uses the text book but gives you his own version the vocabulary and its easier to understand! tests you on the notes he gives you, i would defnitaly take his class again!

I love Dr. Wright. i thought psychology would be interesting but he makes me want to do well in his class where some teachers just piss me off to the point where i dont even listen to them. i will admit that he can be a little harsh on some people with ridiculous questions, but get over it. you're in college not second grade. hes not 'mean' at all

I think he's a great teacher and he does a great job of making the material in the book make sense. He knows his stuff, really smart, teaches you things book doesnt say which is cool. All of his tests and quizzes come from the notes so if you come to class and pay attention you will do fine. hardly use the book but i think its confusing anyway.

Great professor. I took him for Maymester-- and although we had 3 hour lectures M-F, each class period flew by. It is a really interesting class and he works hard to make sure EVERYONE in the class understands the material. He expects class participation in discussions. I wish I would have taken it for a full semester.

Great professor. Keeps the class interesting. Can be a little harsh, but its funny, just don't ask dumb questions. And you can get an A, just study key terms in the book, pay attention in class, & take notes.

Dr. Wright was so amazing. He sounds and looks like Morgan Freeman! I took him for Maymester. It was really fast pace, but if you listen to what he has to say you will do fine. Overall good teacher. Lectures entire class, so you HAVE to attend. I took him maymester and would not have been able to afford missing one single class! Covers so much material that its hard to grasp everything completely. Lots of reading and a ton of notes. Show up, pay attention, take notes, read chapters, and study...I got a "B."

Dr. Wright is an excellent teacher. You don't have to worry about being late because he's usually ten minutes late himself. He will make you feel stupid but only if you say something completely idiotic. He's funny and curses a lot. I took his class in the summer and got a B without even studying. Dr Wright is so far the best professor I have had. He makes you earn the money you spend for tution, he makes you think do not be intimated by him at first he is very funny and cool after the first week of class. take good notes his test are on what he talks about did not have to open the book once for his class

Dr. Wright is one of the best teachers I've ever had. If you listen to lecture and take good notes there is no need for a book. His personality is amazing if you like sarcasm but he will challenge you and make you think. Work load is non-exsistant only one paper and that's it. Highly recommend taking him!

My favorite professor along with Mrs Ramsey (public speaking)He loved my abstract on DMT and would always really make the class think about answers he asked, not just giving them out. And why not? Thinking about HOW you actually think on a daily basis is important if you want to really learn about anything. I hate school, but I love Dr. Wright.

He looks and sounds almost exactly like Morgan Freeman, so if you're sleepy, his voice can put you to sleep. Overall, easy class. Tests and quizzes are practically identical. 1 abstract paper & tests.

Good Professor. He definitely knows his stuff. He lectures so you will have to actually attend class to get the information that he lectures on but reading the book after each lecture will better help you understand the information. I would definitely take him again.

Great Professor! His lectures are very interesting. Showing up everyday is a must, as well as reading the textbook. You'll get bonus points for reading chapters and knowing your information prior to class. Tests are difficult so STUDY STUDY STUDY! I recommend recording his lectures because he tends to talk pretty fast.

Dr Wright is awesome! His lectures were very interesting if you're into psychology. I learned a lot from this class! The quizzes are very hypothetical so you really need to understand the material. The book is needed and very helpful. Don't skip class!He's very sarcastic so get ready for his sassy comments. Just do what he says and be respectful.

I love Dr. Wright. He was definitely an intriguing and fun professor. Go to every class. There are frequent quizzes that will help you secure an A. Material that is not in the book will be on tests and quizzes! At least skim the book to get a sure A! (But focus on lectures more!) Abstract easy, but be prepared. He can grill you pretty tough :(

He can be a little moody some days but for the most part he is very interesting and funny. Be prepared to take plenty of notes. Quizzes are a little tough but if you study they're no problem. Class is NEVER boring. The textbook helped clarify some things but the majority of the teaching was from Dr. Wright. Always show up for his class!

At first he seemed strict, but after the first week he's just very respected! He's super funny, and helpful. He doesn't make you feel stupid for asking questions. His lectures are good and interesting. He likes participation and it makes the class just more fun rather than just lecturing straight thru it. Mid term was a group effort. No hw!

Great professor! All you will do in this class is take notes from his lectures, quizzes are a bit difficult but if you study you'll be fine. Mid term is a group assignment, NO HW, interesting class. Definitely would take again.
