What a professor... Most definitely amongst the best ones in LaGuardia, most probably in the entire CUNY and beyond... I was scared of the subject, meanwhile he made it both interesting and comprehensible. His lectures were surprisingly (for an accounting class) dynamic. An excellent pedagogue and an affable, respectful person. Two thumbs up! :D

Goodman will always be my favorite professor...he helps you clearly in everything you need. In exams he will give you guidlines and he believes that he created a hard exam he will work something out with the class. He is very interested in all his students passing.

I will be very sad to leave Professor Goodman. I had to take his class at 8am Mon-Thurs. in the summertime but you know what? He made it all worthwhile. He is late to class for 90% of the semester. Wants to take a break more often than not. Though he is knowledgable in accounting I believe that we are in need of a full two hour class and not a combined 40 minutes.

I'm usually very critical toward prof. However, I enjoyed this class. Goodman teach's by encouraging class participation and by always asking questions, especially to the more conservative students in order to insure that the subject is being understood. I believe he deligated his time well with advanced and progressing students.

Great teacher, I took honors class with him and now I'm taking intermediate accounting also with him. What can I say- very knowledgeable, helpful and funny, keeps the class iterested and involved. He will really teach you and make you understand the subject. Tests are fairly easy and he is a good grader overall :)

This review is long overdue. I had him in the fall. Great professor, cracks his class up. Somehow, he made accounting fun to learn by incorporating his charm in jokes in class. He made me want to change my major to accounting or even teach accounting!

Look no further guys because he is the best best best accouting prof in lagcc. he is clear, funny, cares about his students. the courseload is pretty straightforward. if you do not answer his questions, he will pretend to fall asleep in class but he will also end up assigning homework so just answer the questions, right or wrong.

Accounting is not my thing. Sadly I must take this class since it is mandatory for my major. I'm very happy that I chose Prof Goodman. he did a great job easing us into accting lingo. Great professor! i had to repeat this class since i fail with another professor. professor Goodman makes accounting easier and helps students a lot. I took his class for BTA111 and BTA112 and pass them with B which was amazing how much i learned from him.

It is obvious that he loves teaching. He tries his best to make student understand the concept of accouting instead of memorizing them. Take his class you will not be disappointed but if you don't like professors who comes to the class late then don't take it. He was late every day in average 15 minutes. But he is a great professor.

The lecture is super clear. He answers all questions. Not a hard grader. If he explains and teaches, the problems become super easy and clear no matter how the problems are tough. Very useful. Sometimes the lectures can get long and tiring and boring. He's sometimes sarcastic which is sometimes annoying. When he talks, you'll notice something white on his bottom lip that looks like a spit ball which is weird because then he just swallows it and it shows up again later. Quizzes are easy, i didnt even read the text book. Easy A !!!!!!

Probably the best professor I had. Just hope you dont get put in a class with people who dont talk or participate. Read the material so that you can do him and everyone else a favor. The assignments and exams are very easy to do if pay attention in class and review the outline and listen to the audio files that he provides. This is the professor you must enroll in! He's amazing and hilarious. His lectures are great, and they'll help you get an understanding of the chapters. The assignments he provides on Blackboard aren't that difficult. Be sure to review the chapter modules before you take the exams, as most of the questions will come from there along with lectures.

Very good professor, he truly cares about his students. he gave me advice on college after laguardia, and i would hear him talk to students about thier life and personal stuff.

He's a pretty chill guy honestly, he's very good at teaching things in a way where you will understand, and the homework isn't that bad (there isn't really any work for class besides reviewing the outline). But he is hard to reach out to, he does not answer emails, get his personal number if you want a response. He's great though :)

His lectures were fun and interesting but are summaries of the textbook. He offers tests online and though textbook cost is 129.99 the textbook offers a lot of information about the concept of business and teaches how to use EXCEL. The blackboard assignments also were interesting and simple. Overall, 10/10 :)

If you want to understand fundamental business concepts in a simple way and with concrete examples, you should definitely choose Professor Goodman. His teaching method is practical and will serve you in the long term. He is an amazing professor.

He cares about all his students and everything he teaches is pretty much right there, if you pay attention to everything he posts like exam outlines and listen to his lectures you pretty much pass the class.
