I liked him a lot. Very entertaining and I actually learned stuff in his class. If you get on his bad side though it could be down hill from there. Would definetly recommend him though.

Mr. Ed is very approachable both in and out of his classroom. If you pay attention in class, and complete the assigned tasks, it is very difficult to do poorly. His tests are difficult, but nothing to be feared in comparison to his razor sharp wit.

Mr. Ed is the greatest. He is so funny. **Don't make stupid comments in his class or he will annihilate you!

Excellent teacher who is very well versed in this area. Essays are brought home b4 tests. His tests are pretty fair. I like the way he plays games with the class and teases everyone. Keeps you interested and on your toes to knowing the material.

mr ed is cool as hell he is a great teacher and makes the clas fun as hell. he is very sarcastic but that is what makes the class so fun. he explain great and give lots of extra credit. so if you read and pay attention you will pass easily

I failed all his test and he gave me a B. I took him twice and I was a familiar face so he was nice to me. If you get him talking about something he likes, he'll get sidetracked and forget lecture. Awesome teacher and good storyteller.

Great teacher! I am signing up for him again next semester. You do actually have to try and read, but as long as you read the chapter you will be fine. Gives options for extra credit by turning things in early. Tells very funny stories! I highly suggest this teacher!

Great Guy, Great Teacher. At first he scares you and is harsh on everyone, but once he gets to know you he is a great man. Enjoyed his class and definately would take him again. Just come to class, and do your work, and be attentive.

Had him back in 2001 and he was awesome. He's very sarcastic and dry, but he's funny as hell. He made the class very entertaining. If he likes you then you're definitely getting a good grade. Just read the material and go over the notes and you'll be fine.

Mr. Szymanski is an excellent teacher. He has traveled to many places and has even seen some of the things that he teaches. He also makes learning fun!

If you take is class, don't call him anything but Mr. Ed. He is an easygoing teacher with a great personality. But, make sure you don't get on his dark side. If you do what he asks you to do, it is an easy A, and you might end up having dinner at his house.

Easy to understand, give great presentation in class. Test are ok nothing to hard. Gives extra credit. Intresting stories added to lessons. Works well with any student with a disability. Don't be afraid of this teacher. He is fantastic...

This is my 2nd class w/him and it's just as fun as the first 1. He's very funny & gives tons of extra credit. We play games & watch videos. Tests are good but you have to read..seriously. He also grades alot on your papers so as long as they are as long as he wants them and u have outlines and cover sheets for all,you will get an "A"

Great Professor, you must study for his test, but he gives reviews. The papers are not hard, just stay on top of them. Lots, Lots, and Lots of extra credit. No reason anyone can not get an "A" in this class.

Truth is Professor Ed is very cool guy. At first it might not seem that way but give it two weeks and you'll see he's very nice and funny and tells intresting stories that relate to the class topics. You learn allot about your self and other views of people. It's not a serious class but it's a class you can enjoy and isn't stressful.

I took "Mr. Ed's" classes a semester ago. He ranks up there with my most favorite professors. He's the man to go to for Hummanities. I Highly recommend him and promise that the class will never be boring. He is VERY imformative and offers first hand accounts (because he is so old) in history. It is rumored that he was a model for Michelangelo.

He is a good teacher, but you can't be afraid to do your work. All of your assignments need to be in and you shouldn't be late to his class. I highly recommend his class to anyone that likes to learn and laugh at the same time. He loves to tell stories.

Took him for philosophy 15 years ago. He was one of the best teachers I ever had, and one of the few whose full name I still remember. Yes, he's very funny & interesting.. I remember reading a book on Morality he gave me, and I gave him Zippy the Pinhead. Now I'm reading Karl Popper and owe my continued interest in philosophy to him.

He's cool. Very sarcastic & can be a jerk, but its funny. He cancels half the classes, in fact I had a MWF & he changed it to just MW because he wanted Fridays off! All you talk about is his dogs, he gives a couple of tests w/ a study guide. But for your final grade, I seriously think he just gives you any random grade thats not failing. Take him!

Mr. Ed is a great professor. I am currently taking Intro to Humanities. He gives a lot of extra credit opportunities and is pretty funny when he lectures. He is sarcastic, so if you don't have a sense of humor, then don't take him. He gives reviews for tests and the essay questions for the tests are take-home.

This man is a hoot! I loved the class its so much fun. Just do the little work that he assigns. Feel free to try and be his buddy. Me and my pal were his favorites he likes to mess around with students and make grade wagers.

This is most likely the best teacher that I have EVER had!! I have taken him twice now and have loved him and had learned so much both times. You would not have a full and complete life until you take one of his courses.

took Humanities & Baroque. Funny, entertaining teacher. Says awful insults to students, it only means he likes you. Several missed classes- but he was sick, extra credit opportunities. Talks a lot about himself, not so much about humanities. smart guy though, he knows his stuff. Study for tests, they are not so easy. Fun class.

I took him for Ren. and Baroque it was such an easy course! He assigns only 3 simple papers and a few (VERY) difficult tests. He always curves the tests though so there is no excuse not to do great. He says all the time "Just read the book". If you read the book, you'll ace his tests without the curve. He definately picks favorites but he's awesome

Szymanski's quite a character. I enjoyed his class very much. I learned some valuable lessons taking his Renaissance and Baroque course. Listen to his stories, they may be on his tests! And beware Jeopardy from Hell! A game where all students go up against him alone with review question. Chances are you WILL NOT win

hes hilarious, probably one of the funniest profs ive ever met. his class is VERY easy, we watched movies 90% of the time, but they are very interesting and pertain to the subject were studying. didnt learn too much but it was a very entertaining class. hes awesome!

You will not learn anything pertaining to religion. Cancels class all the time. Talks off topic about traveling, glass, wine...Watch movies alot. Have to write 3-4 papers.

This guy is a little crazy but awesome at the same time. You will barely have to do any homework or read the book. Bring it to class so you can know what he's talking about. Every class your going to get a 'Mr. Ed story' about something crazy in his life, but they are usually super funny. VERY EASY CLASS. Any class that he teaches...take it easy A.
