Would definitely take again. Ed does a great job of explaining how to do the HW problems. He had a great attitude even though several of my classmates wasted class time complaining about the book, projects, and exams. I do wish he would have been more consistent with the way he collected HW.
He's pretty cool, the class just sucks.
Didn't learn much in class, which made exams pretty hard, had homework assignments but were collected sometimes, but brief exercises during class helps, overall though not that bad
Ed was a great teacher who had a lot of interest in the subject. I highly suggest taking him for accounting.
Ed was overall a great professor. Accounting is not an easy subject but he always took the time to explain concepts and go over homework problems. He always was available to talk during office hours or arrange a time if you needed to speak with him or needed additional help. His upbeat attitude made it easy to pay attention & very enthusiastic!!!!!
Where to begin. All the reviews of him had to be written by him. Class consists of him rambling about something then he says we are "qualified" to work on problems in the book. Exam questions are worded so they will confuse you. Horrible teacher that does not care and "teaches" because he cannot do. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Very nice guy, however, he really can't teach. He is fairly new to the field. Rarely ever lectures but excepts you to know everything. Is very unclear of how to do problems. Sits at his desk and reads powerpoint slides and doesn't explain much of anything. He does, however, curve pretty big. I wouldn't suggest him.
This is the second time I have had him, the first time was for 250, he has since gotten much worse. Doesn't know what he is doing, grades homework ridiculously, doesn't post assignments online so you know what is due, and makes the final 30 questions and worth 200 points. Avoid this guy like the plague, he just further hurts CMU as a school
He is a goofy guy. I think he changed his teaching style this semester to give more homework which was hard to keep up with. He was unclear about what was assigned. He gives pop quizzes which hurt my grade. He does curve though.
I attended every class, did every homework assignment (what I understood of it) and studied for every exam and I am still getting a poor grade in the class. Very unorganized. I've done well in every class at CMU until this one. It may or may not just be the class but regardless, he made the class unfortunately difficult.
Ed is deff. a professor that cares about his students. Even though he is disorganized 90% of the time, if you come to class every time, pay attention, do the group work and the homework you should be fine. Expect quizes at the end of every chapter. He always gives his classes a nice curve at the end too. Every exam, and quiz is multiple choice.
He is a pretty funny guy at times and is down to earth. He's not the greatest teacher but then again it is accounting. Make sure you bring your laptop you will use it almost every class. There is also assigned groups and assigned seats.
Unlike other teachers Ed used real life examples integrated with the lessons. Iff you follow the lectures, read the chapter, and do all of the assigned homework you will not only pass but have a good understanding of accounting. Laptops basically required.
Ed is a solid professor. My biggest issue with him was with exams in that he would use the book's exams which try to trick you when it comes to questions. The project was not that difficult and he is very nice. He does curve the class the best that he can. For those that complain about him, wait till you have some of the "core" professors.
Ed is a great professor. The people who complain about him on here are looking for an easy A. They forget that work is involved in order to succeed. Ed doesn't hand you your grade like most students want. You have to earn it. As long as you are willing to work, and put in the time and effort Ed makes the class great. There are much worse ACC profs.
A really funny guy that is willing to work with you through a lot. I had to miss class for 2 weeks and he was really understanding and helped me out a lot. Pay attention to class and do the practice exams on blackboard and you'll be fine!
I love Ed. He is a great and funny guy. He is not the easiest teacher and there is a lot of outside learning you have to do yourself. But he is a great guy and I'm glad I took the class with him. Overall, 7/10 on enjoyment and learning in the class.
Ed is the only professor you should take for ACC 255! He gave extra credit which was added to your exam scores and that helped me so much. You just have to be willing to go to the extra credit. Also go to his office hours before class because he will let you do practice problems that will be on a quiz or exam! Such a funny guy! Loved having Ed!
Awesome guy! always willing to help. if you are willing to put in the effort he is willing to help. if not, well he's not stupid either...
Ed is a great teacher that is really there to see YOU succeed. Just put in the work and he will do the rest. Accounting is a vigorous course, he will give you the basics to start off and you will master those with his help!
He was definitely my favorite instructor this year. He was super enthusiastic about the subject, and tried to make the class as interesting as possible by switching things up, lecturing for some time, then going into the hw, and more. If you want a class with an instructor who actually cares about the success of his students, take a class with Ed.
Ed is a fantastic teacher! The class can be hard at times, but if you speak up and ask questions, he'll do all he can to help you out. As long as you do most of the work that he assigns, you'll do great in his class. Also, be prepared when you go to class because he will ask you individual questions to see if you understand.
Ed is one of the nicest guys on campus. He's really funny and down to earth. The class was pretty tough but he will do anything to help you learn. One of the better accounting teachers.
Ed is great teacher! He adapts the class to his students and he really wants you to succeed. His tests are a little difficult but if you study hard you should do fine. Ed also gives out prep questions and problems to help you really get the chapter. Would definitely take him again!
Ed is a great professor and an even better person. He wants to see his students succeed and will work as hard for you as you will. A lot of outside reading will need to be done before class to be prepared for his he questions he asks before class at random. Ed is goofy and will make class not so boring
Ed is a great guy, but his class is work. BUY THE BOOK. You do class prep questions out of it and they are simple. He calls on random people so be prepared. He wants his students to do well and understand and will do anything for you. He takes attendance so go if you want a good grade. He also gives out random quizzes. Take his class. hes better.
Take Ed's class. He is the easiest out of the acc prof's. His class is work though, there is class prep questions and he calls on random people during class to go over them. He hands out random quizzes sometimes just for attendance so make sure you go. He will help you in any way he can. he wants his students to succeed. Great guy :)
Lets face it ACC 302 sucks but Ed does everything he can to make it a little bit more clear and does his best to succeed. The material isn't any easier though
Doesn't teach you a thing. Instead of actually teaching you the material he gives you a list of questions to do so you can teach yourself the material. Then goes over the answers in class. Not a good way to learn and takes about 3 to 4 hours to do the homework each time. Goes on tangents and gets side tracked. Terrible professor
Ed is a really goofy guy, but he's good. The hardest part about his class is that you have to read up a little before class & answer some prep questions. Once in class, he goes over the questions with you & calls on random people to answer. If you don't have an answer, you get marked down. He gives 20 question quizzes, DO THE REVIEWS.
Ed is awesome! I loved going to class because he was so enthusiastic about accounting and you can totally tell he wants the best for his students. He is also really chill and relatable.
Ed is a great guy! I had him for 250 ad 255, it was very challenging for me but he is always there to help his students out, he wants to see you succeed. Lots of prep homework for the class. Do the homework, study and go to class and you'll do fine. Take Ed if you can he makes going to class worth it.
Ed is an awesome teacher that will always be there for you. There are 4 assessments with a final.. all 20 questions and multiple choice, also allowed to use an index card on all test. You MUST do the homework assigned before class. At the beginning of the semester you will rec. a card if your card is chosen in class you must answer the question.
Ed is a great guy that really cares about his students. He gives a lot of reading and expects you to get it all done before class but is always willing to answer questions and go more in depth on the topic. I am always trying to get into his accounting classes.
Good teacher for a hard class. He takes attendance everyday so you have to go to get a good grade. Exams are pretty easy, 20 mc questions. He's a great accounting teacher though, I wouldn't want to take the class with anyone else. If you're thinking about accounting major, he does a great job with general knowledge you need.
Ed was horrible. Didn't help the class with reviewing for any exams and wouldn't set a curve even when the average grade was 60% on a test. Really nice guy to talk to but doesn't know how to teach. He just does it on the board and expects you to understand the material. Don't waste your time or money on Ed woelfert.
For this class you really have to work for a good grade. You pretty much have to teach yourself the material. If you read the book and do the homework, you should be fine. Ed wasn't a terrible teacher, students just didn't want to put any effort into the class. I would definitely take another accounting class with Ed.
Wonderful professor and extremely cute.
Ed is hilarious and can crack down at times, but only because he wants people to do their best. He makes accounting fun and accessible. He really hates cell phones and will kick you out of class if he sees yours out, so beware. If you're willing to put a little effort in, he'll give you the help to do well in his class and accounting overall.
Great professor, had him for 4 different accounting courses all at diferent levels - 101, 255,302, and 598. knows his stuff and is always willing to help out. be ready to work your butt off but if your going into accounting you know that already. if your a business major who has to take his courses then just show the effort and he will help.
Ed does a great job making accounting bearable. Expect to read the chapter and do practice problems before coming into class. He will call on students randomly to answer questions. If you ask for help, he will definitely do whatever he can to help you understand. I would suggest taking any accounting class you can with Ed.
Ed makes accounting rather enjoyable and is a very respectable professor. He doesn't like students to be on their phones and will send you home if he catches you on it during class. But he jokes around and tries to leave a good impression on you both as a student and a young adult. Definitely a good decision to register for one of Ed's classes.
I had Ed for 3 different classes (ACC 101, 255, 302), and really enjoyed having him. He is always willing to stop in the hall and chat about whatever. He's very passionate about teaching and is always trying to improve and get feedback, unlike some ACC profs. His classes are tough, but that's accounting. If you study, you will be fine.
I have had Ed for 2 classes now, and will take any class I can with him. He cares about his students, makes it clear what you need to know, and helps make sure you know it. The class, and subject, aren't easy, but if you do the work and study, you will be fine. I'd recommend Ed for any class.
Ed is a super fun guy. He assigns material he wants you to learn, makes you teach yourself the material before class, and then goes over it in class. 4 exams are 20 questions each, but he drops the lowest score and allows for a cheat sheet. The class it is a lot of work, and he makes you work for your grade, but I defiantly learned a lot.
Ed is a cool guy. He sincerely wants everyone in his class to leave feeling like they learned a lot. He gives a lot of homework but it helps in the long run. If you're a REALLY shy person I would probably pick a different teacher. He has cards with our names and asks people to go to the front of the class to help him with the problem. its harmless.
He seems very friendly at first but if you aren't prepared in his class he will call you out and be very grumpy.
If you have the chance, take this class with Ed. He really cares about his students and will go out of his way to make you his priority. The class itself has very difficult material, but Ed makes it understandable. The tests are multiple choice, and you get points for showing up prepared every day. If you do the work, you will excel in his class.
He is a really nice professor who you can go to for anything but he isn't the best professor. He makes you learn very difficult material and makes it even more confusing in class. He is a great connection to the accounting world but the class isn't organized. Make sure you don't miss class or you you will lose a lot of points. Also very hard exams.
His lectures are students answering questions from a handout given the week before. Make sure you answer all of the questions because he randomly picks people to answer and if you don't have the answer you get points deducted. 5 tests (counting final) all multiple choice and 20 questions, get a couple wrong and your grade is shot.
Ed is a great guy. He's intimidating in his syllabus, but he's not in person. He does randomly call on people to answer homework q's in front of class, so you have to do the homework. This class is tough but he really is accessible and wants everyone to do well. He puts slideshows, practice exams, and study guides online so you know what is on exam
Didn't learn a thing from him in this course. Learned everything by myself by reading the textbook. Doesn't teach just scribbles on the white board and calls on random people for answers.
Was fortunate enough to end up with him as my accounting professor than the previous professor who was going to teach the course b/c this was one of the easiest classes I've taken. I doubt he will teach this section and class again b/c he was just given it since the previous professor retired 3 weeks into the year, but honestly a nice guy and easy!
Ed cares about his students and wants you to understand the material. However, his teaching is hard. It's a flipped class and you have to know and be able to present the material to the class. His exams are 20-25 MC questions(they are difficult-get a notecard). He has a hard time answering questions because he expects you to know it from the book.
I loved him. He has such a quirky personality and makes class not so bad. His exams are always 25 questions multiple choice and you get at least one flashcard. There is review work due for almost every class so you have to do the review problems at home and then be ready to talk about and present the work.
Ed is an amazing person & professor! 302 is a very difficult class, but he tries his best to help the students learn the materials. Not a ton of hw, but you do have to come to class everyday. There's only a few exams & each one is around 20 questions, so you HAVE to study and know the material really well to get a good grade.
Ed is very smart, but he doesn't always click with certain students. You have to learn to understand his teaching methods to do well in this class. You have to go to class and HAVE HOMEWORK DONE FOR POINTS EVERYDAY. His exams are 20 points and kinda hard to read. He gives cumulative EC with each exam. He tries his best to help and is usually nice.
Eds class if one of my favorite classes at CMU so far. I came into class absolutely dreading accounting and left actually enjoying the process of homework and studying. His exams are multiple choice 20 questions but not easy. He gives a ton of study material which is extremely helpful for the exams. He loves helping anyone he can
Ed is a great guy. go to his office hours if you have questions and hes really helpful. he just flipped his class to a lecture, but the time goes by fast. he makes accounting enjoyable. always hated numbers but he changed that and really cares about his students. tests are 20-25 multiple choice and as long as you go to class and study you'll pass
Deeply cares about our success, but is not good at teaching. Complains about the textbook all the time, but then makes us use it. Unclear on what we need to do for assignments and makes lots of errors on them, his attendance policy is overly strict, but he also gives easy exams. He is a nice guy, but not a good professor.
Ed is an amazing ACC professor and a great one to start with. His lectures can be confusing and he ALWAYS writes on the whiteboard, rather than printing notes, which can be frustrating (expect abbreviations). Get comfortable and try to learn. Listen to him, do the prep work, study, meet with him, & learn from your mistakes bc questions come back.
Ed was a decent teacher. He is very caring and tells you how much he wants you to succeed. His lectures can get boring and confusing sometimes but you have to just get used to his teaching style as it is unique. For exams you get an hour for 24ish multiple choice/t/f questions and the last 15 min he goes over the answers so you know how you did.
Pretty great professor, these are my ratings before everything went online due to COVID. However, you have to go to class, have to participate, have to bring your textbook. He is very accessible outside of class and always makes time for students.
Ed is awesome. I'm rating him pre-COVID. The class is lecture-heavy, and if you don't go to lecture you probably won't pass. He marks you down points every absence. Little to no homework. Ed goes over exams the class before so definitely go to the class before the exam. I took ACC201 3 times and failed and ended with an A- with Ed. Great prof. L
So I've learned almost nothing in this class. His lectures are really weird because... he really doesn't lecture? He just helps you work on practice problems without really explaining them. If you want to actually learn the topic, I don't recommend him. Really nice guy though.
Bitter due to COVID hell probably try to take this down, -and suggest I study harder with a YouTube video.
This was the hardest class I took this semester. He is a nice guy but it is very clear he doesn't like teaching online, which I get, but it's time to adapt. Doesn't lecture, just sits there on an excel sheet and says nothing. I emailed him asking for help on one of the topics, and all he sent me back was a video on how to study.0/10 do not recommend
Professor Woelfert is the worst professor I have had at CMU. He is unwilling to work with students and is straight out rude when a student does ask a question. He ignored multiple emails, skipped his own office hours and would refuse to discuss grades. I would not recommend taking this class unless you are okay with an unhelpful professor.
Take a different prof. if you can. He might be a good person but a horrible teacher. He frequently yelled at us for not understanding questions or partcipating (over 30 minutes), annoyed when we asked questions, didn't explain due dates well, quizzes were over the weekend and can't go back to prev. problems, and he lectured awkwardly and terribly.
I have never suffered more in a class before. I am learning more on my own with trial and error than I learn from him. He's monotone and sounds very bored. There were a few questions on an exam that didn't have a correct answer, he said "it's not worth debating" and linked a video about "dealing with incompetence" and chunking your studying...
Prof. Woelfert is a great person who I felt genuinely cared about the success of his students. His class isnt easy though, and you NEED to read and understand the material, you can't skate by with only lecture. I also disagree with the other posters saying he is rude when you ask questions , because he was excited whenever I asked a question.
Lectures are super dry and slow. Assignments are easy and quizzes/tests weren't too bad. Did not actually learn a lot about accounting but it was an somewhat easy A.
one of the worst professors ive ever had. eds a great guy and super nice, but he cant teach to save his life. exams can bring your grade down 30 points and the class/group work will not bring them up at all. doesnt even know the material properly to teach it and will yell and go off on students for asking for help or practice problems
Ed is a great guy hes really funny, but I did not learn a thing. He teaches in a way where you learn outside of class then he quizzes/asks questions in class. Extremely hw and groupwork heavy. I would spend hours each week on hw only to come in and fail every quiz and exam. There was no direction in class, I never knew what to expect on exams
Worst professor Ive ever had. He doesnt know how to teach at all. When students would ask for help he got mad that we werent learning it ourselves. We asked for extra practice questions and he refused. Class consists of prep work and group work in class. If you can, take anyone other than Woelfert.
Ed is a great guy. He genuinely cares how the class is doing and makes adjustments to allow people to pass. The class is taught in a flipped classroom format so you learn the material before coming in. He was always open to questions and if you study the group works for exams you will do really well.
Ed is not really an ideal prof. You will learn the most from WileyPlus (where the work is) and the reading than you will in class (in regards to understanding the content). Yet if you miss class youre screwed because he grades on participation. To get a passing grade you pretty much just have to do the homework and do good enough on the exams.
Ed is by far my favorite professor I have ever had. I had him for ACC 250 and ACC 255. He cares so much about his students and gets so excited when they succeed. His lectures might be tough to follow some times, but he is more than willing to explain it to you until you understand. He is also hilarious. I recommend him to anyone taking 250/255.
Great professor, I was struggling in the beginning of the year and began meeting with him twice a week to get extra help. He helped me work through problems and realize the mistakes i was making. His help outside of the classroom is the only reason I got an A- maybe an A (depending on my final exam) and not a C.
Literally the best professor I have had at Central Michigan, Ed really cares that every single one of his students succeeds.
Ed was a very nice guy and wants students to succeed. He spends a lot of time out of class with students who take him up on it. You need to be in class and participate often and early. If you show up and try you will succeed.
Very nice guy but lectures are hard to follow. Participation is mandatory
Make sure you do your homework and understand the short answer problems. This will be crucial for your exams. He can be hard to learn from but he is super willing to help you out if you have questions or want extra help.
BUS102 is a very easy class with Ed. Only have class once a week and there is usually an assignment per week for 6 weeks. Then class gets easy. Usually he lets us out early. No finals and is a pretty chill guy.
Ed was a super nice guy, but very disorganized making this class difficult to follow. Some days he would be in a great mood, but others he would target students and leave class unannounced. I know this was his first time teaching this class so most of the coursework was new and unfamiliar. We never really did much in class.
He really cares about all of his students. Some of his lectures were hard to follow. But if you complete the class prep and read the designated section before class like he recommends it makes the class a lot better. I used classes more as a review and time to ask him questions rather than to learn the content for the first time.
Ed is an amazing person he really is, but your gonna have to teach accounting to yourself and work around ed's unorganized classroom yourself so good luck.
.
Doesn't teach, just reviews what he expects you to have already read. Not willing to discuss grades with you, doesn't care if you try to express concerns, is really insistent on you teaching yourself. Not enough time on quizzes/exams, very vague answers to questions, etc. He's funny though so i guess thats a plus
Ed's class was all over the place. His lectures were super confusing and his handwriting was hard to read. But the homework was done in class, and the homework is pretty much the exams.
Honestly pretty rude. Get ready to teach yourself the whole class. Doesn't explain anything at all. He can be nice and funny, but if he is having a bad day he just might storm out of the classroom or slam a kids laptop.
I just went to class 90% of the time, took notes on his lectures, all the quizzes, tests and exams are based off those lectures and inclass practices, and got an A. Just go to class, or get a friend to take good notes, the work isn't that hard otherwise, it's math though so it's not gonna be the easiest lol.
Makes it easy to fail. Takes attendance points away when you answer a verbal question incorrectly. While you can earn them back it takes twice as many right answers to cover for one incorrect one. Very hard to read his handwriting and jumps around in the notes making it hard to follow along.
Ed came off harsh at first, but throughout the semester he began to grow on me. I would say he's your best bet at an accounting professor. Make sure you read the chapters and take good notes before he goes over them in class. If you do this and pay attention, you should be fine. His tests are also really easy!
Ed is a cool professor and I feel like he is misunderstood sometimes. He teaches fast, which is efficient for learning the amount of material needed throughout the course. If you build a relationship with him and least show some effort or interest in the course you will do just fine in the end.
Accounting is not the most interesting subject but I really enjoyed taking this class with Ed. I feel that he is often misunderstood. Ed is a great guy and he really does just want you to succeed. Take advantage of his office hours!!! He is always willing to help. He appreciates participation so try to answer questions even if you are wrong
Not a great experience with ed, AND ITS ONLY MID SEMESTER. Such a demeaning tone towards students when they don't answer his questions in class, and drags it on way too long. Hard to learn when that is happening. Consider this a "crash out" course in a way. Would not recommend this guy if you are actually looking to LEARN.
The way this guy tries to get his students to do participation is probably the worst. If you dont feel like getting ridiculed for not doing something cause you actually dont know the answer, and are in the class to learn it, this isnt the class for you.
U would not take him if you have the option.
Wildcard professor. Honestly, he'll be calm somedays and angry the next. However, his lectures are incredibly easy to understand and follow and he is very personable. He has the ability to make accounting fun and wants to see his students succeed.
Ed is a bit scary at first, but if you participate and get to know him, he's a great guy. As far as lectures and understanding the material goes, he doesn't explain things the best and I think he forgets that we haven't worked in a bank for 20 years. However, I think he's your best bet for an accounting professor at CMU.
Woelfert gives lessons and you have to spend your own time learning it. He made the class very self-dependent, and you could only improve if you put the work in. He was funny, nice to talk to, and was always willing to help out as much as he could, but most lectures were fast paced and hard to grasp at first. Lots of quizzes but necessary to excel.
He is a horrible teacher. He cannot teach the subject at all, making it impossible to understand. He is very passive-aggressive to every student in the class and rude. Never is any student prepared for his exams or classes which results in most students getting a 60 or worse. He never explains well enough the material or assignments. Take a better
If you enjoy exams deciding your grade, and not knowing any subject on the exams because you have to self teach yourself the material, then this professor is for you.
He is a very nice person but not the best professor and he can come off as passive aggressive sometimes. There is a lot of homework after every class and you basically have to teach yourself everything. I would not recommend this class.
Ed is a great guy in general and easy to get to know, but other than that, the way he teaches was just a struggle for me, and i basically had to try and learn everything myself after the first test. So i overall wouldnt reccomend this for any up and coming accounting students
Ed is a good guy and easy to joke around with. But as a professor, he is really not great. He runs his lectures unorganized, and you often leave feeling more confused than when you came into class. 98% of the class was me teaching myself. I would recommend taking Acc 250 or 255 with a more knowledgeable professor.
He was not a horrible professor, but he was kind of all over the place and hard to understand at times. I also could never read his writing.
i dont hate many people, i hate this man. the only word i can use to describe him is mean. he is seriously one of the meanest people i have ever encountered.
Professor Ed's class can be challenging, but the material is manageable if you attend regularly, do the homework, and utilize resources like ChatGPT and unstuck study for study prep. He cares about student success, so don't hesitate to ask for help.
Didn't really teach us at all. Left class often and we all just sat there. He writes stuff on the board and talks really fast but you can't read it and he uses abbreviations and we have no idea what he is writing. Sometimes is a little sassy too and can come off as passive aggressive. DO NOT recommend taking his class...
ed tries his best, but is passive aggressive at his best. he expects u to know the material already and just review in class. uses a ‘card system' to cold call people in class. cusses at students who don't answer his questions. confuses himself while doing problems very frequently. generally rude and unhelpful. i won't be taking him again.
Woelfert is a very nice guy, very passionate about his work, a little bit too much some times, very emotional professor, spends all class lecturing to.. pretty much just himself, really just kinda needs a friend or something. Assignments aren't bad, he really wants participation from everyone, overall not horrible, he likes to change things up too
Eddie gets a bad wrap on here. He is a very nice guy, and he has his days where he's maybe not in the best mood. Overall, he really wants his students to succeed and allows for opportunities to do so. He does randomly call on you at times and will change the format of homework from time to time, but overall his class was a good experience.
Ed can either can be really good or really bad, depending on his mood. He has a "tough love" vibe. He cares but doesn't express it well. I learned a lot in the class, but had to teach myself. If your class is quiet, it will not be a fun semester. I like Ed, but I wouldn't take his class again.
Ed truly cares about his students and wants to see people succeed he just has a very interesting way to go about it. He is very scatter brained and really hard to follow, you pretty much learn nothing in class so be prepared to teach yourself online. He can be very moody, so you never know if he is going to be really nice or yell at everyone.
I loved Ed's class! Quizzes and tests were manageable and he was always willing to help. He is really cool guy and has some really cool stories. I would recommend Ed's class!
He genuinely cares about his students and is a cool guy. However I pay to go here to learn not teach myself everything while he literally shuffles cards. He doesn't teach and expects you to do everything yourself.
Be prepared to learn nothing in class. All he does is yell at the class for not participating or not doing anything when he barely gives any instructions. Outside of class he is kind, but other than that its horrible.
Not a hard class, but you will have to teach yourself. I dont know how a professor can not lecture or teach a single thing yet still have a job. The class is easy and material is easy but you have to teach yourself. Get attendance points for answering questions in an excel file, wouldn't recommend if you actually want to learn.
Eddie is a complex case. Such a nice guy most of the time especially out of class, but sometimes in class he'll get all pissed if people didn't do exactly what he wanted. I like him a lot, and the class isn't too hard, but you will have to be comfortable teaching yourself and learning the material your own. Class time is just doing problems.
Ed is all over the place, he leaves class a lot and is not aware of anything. He expects you to teach yourself and come to class knowing everything. The test are not good, he words then differently then learned. I had a tutor for the class and still ended up almost failing.
Ed is a good guy but when it comes to teaching it's hard to understand a lot of the lessons. He does not teach the material in class so you have to teach yourself and the in class lectures are all just going over the homework on a spreadsheet where people are picked by cards to answer. Also an assigned seating chart.
