This guy is so much fun. He is really laid back and easy going, and is also really funny. He has a lot of good points and is very inspirational. What I really like about him is that he really loves his job. He interacts with the students as if we are all on the same level. GREAT TEACHER!

Yes there are a lot of "library" days. Attendance is mandatory, but a lot of classes are short. You need to show up bec the days you have class there is crucial information. Make sure you understand instructions given before leaving class. You must be self-disciplined. You are given the foundation of how to write a large paper. Good stuff!

Wasn't at all what I expected, but once I let go of my expectations and began to trust Webb's process ... it was a great opportunity to research a topic of my choosing! While Webb is often available to provide individual help and he workshops papers, he does not waste everyone's time -- he sends the more advanced to the library. Great class!

Very laid back, and an overall cool guy. Sometimes a little unorganized but nobody is perfect. Interesting class conversations, but workshops for the most part aren't very useful. I enjoyed his teaching methods a lot and as long as you do your work, it's a very easy A. For a summer class from my experience, I recommend him.

I like his style of teaching. He kept me on task and didn't require a bunch of meaningless reading. We built our papers from beginning to end. If we needed help he was there. His style may not be for everyone, but it worked for me.

He doesn't waste anyone's time. He gives you the necessary skills to go on to the next class. I missed a day which I couldn't turn in two of the work. Manage to still get an A because I have given my all on the portfolio. From someone like me who isn?t good in English he taught me a lot.

Professor Webb is a motivating instructor. He is more concerned with the class atmosphere and exploration of your writing style than grading grammatical errors. He assumes you know how to spell and write a research paper from High School, which should be obvious. He could stand to be a bit more organized but overall this course was amazing.

He is kind of a nut job at times, and some stuff you are just like why are we doing this. But he is honestly so chill, and he is so clear on his assignments that everyone should get an A or B in the class for sure!

If you show up to class, pay attention, and follow his writing guidelines, and do the work you can get an A no problem. As far as favoritism I see it time and time again with students and instructors; It's a no-brainer. The ones that show self-respect and respect for the teacher by showing up on time and doing the work tend to be "favorites".

Professor Webb was not like any English teacher that I have ever had, however he was one of the best. He was very helpful and knowledge in writing papers. He taught me the very best fundamentals in APA format that help me in my continuing education at NAU.

This class may not be a good fit for those who want to be told exactly what to do and not take personal initiative.

Professor Webb's class this semester was GREAT! The way the curriculum is set up makes the class a much better experience for both us students and Prof Webb. Our classroom discussions were very interesting and were always conducted at a high level. It's not rocket science, just do your work and you will do great! Much respect for Prof Webb!

Great hair! I thought he was nuts when he told us how much we would be writing, but he made it so manageable with due dates in-between to keep you on track.

He gives out templates which fixates on the technical aspect of writing a university level research paper. You follow his rubric, you have an A. That simple.

He is a multi talented, passionate, opinionated man who is 100% open to you presenting your viewpoint. Hint: Pick a topic you want to research for the next semester. Great, great guy; very funny and personable. His teaching though, may divide some people. If you are looking for an incredibly easy A, this is the professor for you. If, however, you are part of the minority wanting to learn through your work and want to become a better writer overall, you may want to look elsewhere.

Webb was pretty chill. Don't expect NOT to participate. It takes effort to get a good grade but I'm sure anyone could pass this class if they showed up, turned in assignments and participated.

English 101 was great with Professor Webb! If you want an overall easy A (participation and effort still matters here, of course), he is the guy for you. He is also extremely funny, friendly, and approachable; don't be afraid to ask for any help or clarification from him. I would absolutely take ANY of his classes again in a heartbeat!

Mr. Webb has a very clear grading criteria, meaning that as long as you follow the rubric and the outlines given the class is easy to pass. After leaving the class I can now write a correct research paper moving forward. The professor was an excellent charismatic teacher and it was clear to see he wanted you to pass the class.

I really loved the class, the way everything was taught and explained. Things weren't too hard if you just put in the effort and time. The field trips were really nice and enjoyable. The best part had to be using the equipment.

Seriously thought this guy was hilarious. Clear grading rubric and plenty of detail so no guesswork is needed. Overall, super easy class in my opinion just do the work and you're practically guaranteed an A. Did his best to explain if there was any confusion and always seemed to be having a good time. He provided a clear rubric, and at times I was confused as was most of my class, but all you have to do is let him know, and ask for him to explain the research paper structure, and he will clear up any concerns. The class was not the traditional english class that I expected. It required thinking and creative writing. He gave us projects that allowed us to express our voice in different ways. And we worked with adobe putting out written voice behind meaningful pictures and clips. He teaches a lot more than english but life skills. Highly recommended!

Not a traditional English class but I was pleasantly surprised to learn we used the top of the line adobe software to make documentaries and films to incorporate our ideas and stories. I acquired computer and software skills to expand my ability to be competitive in the collegiate field. Eddie is an amazing teacher who cares for his students!

Easy A! You only write one paper throughout the entire semester

frustrating only because assignments were never clear , it really was a class that just stressed you out but in the end it ended up being simpler than you thought. only like two major assignments that you're graded on. awesome professor whenever sarcasm isn't involved.

Webb has created an environment where he respects many students opinions and asks for them. There are rubrics for what is graded, given weeks in advance. So if you get a bad grade it's because you either aren't doing the work (minimal) or not showing up for class. 4 papers, 3 are short and the fourth you have a long time. learning MIXED MEDIA

Teaches you like free thinking adults. So what if his approach is non-linear, I learned how to format a doctoral grade dissertation so quit whining about not learning punctuation. You wont do good in this class if youre a child . Took this class 2 years ago and still use his techniques as a senior. Met my wife in this class too.

The only thing you need to do to pass this class is to apply yourself. Dr. Webb gives very clear instructions and assignments, all that is asked is that you actually put some effort into your writing and make it your own. This is not the type of class where you're assigned multiple essays with a rubric all semester but instead personal projects.
