Mr. Attar is a great teacher, very helpful. i would recommend him, he takes his time with each student and your guranteed an A in his class coming from a student who took geometry twice in high school and didnt take algebra 2 in high school. There is no one else like him!

I took professor Attar for a 5 week summer course. He was very clear and understanding. I actually understood All the topics being taught in a math class for the first time ever!

I took Eddy Attar for both Math 0312 and Math 1314 in Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 respectively and made two As. He is very helpful, clear, consice and makes Math fun. He does reviews that is similar to the tests. I would take him again in an instant. By far the BEST teacher I've had in my life. I was a poor Math student until I took his class.

I have taken Professor Attar for my first two remedial math classes and he is the BEST!! When I say I have literally never been good at math I mean it! He makes everything SOOOO easy and so understandable and takes his time with his students! He will even let you get with a partner for all the quizzes and use notes as well. Highly recommend him.

Great professor! Answers your emails/concerns promptly. Is always there to help. Took him online. 4 tests total (including final). All tests in person. 20 questions each exam, 33 for the final. Homework is done on my math lab. His reviews are just like his tests. Would definitely recommend him.

I haven't taken a math class in over 10 years, with that said, Mr. Attar is the best hands down. Makes math easy to understand. Test and quizzes were kinda tough but you have to study whats he tells you. Made an A. Very nice teacher. Book not required, can access the book online with connect math.

Took Attar for Math 0409 and 0312 Best Math teacher! He makes learning math easy. His quizzes is just like his exams. He have really good methods of teaching. I highly recommend him! Professor attar is really good at helping you understand. Im personally bad at math and struggle so much to understand, he does kind of move along very quick but he teaches in a way you could understand. NO LATE TURN IN'S though, I had an emergency out of town and couldn't complete a quiz and I wasn't able to take it but he replaced it with final.

Great Professor. Have taken for all remedial classes and lowest grade has been a "B". Homework is moderate and does not require an extensive amount of time as long as you attend class take adequate notes and ask questions for full understanding. Extremely patient with all students and answer any questions with care.

Took him for Math 0409 passed it with an A, 0312 and 1314 passed them with a B. You have to really study if you want to pass though, but overall he knows how to teach and will help you when you dont understand something.

Im horrible at math. After reading the reviews I decided to take him and overall I have to say that was the best decision Ive made. I never understood math for years from other teachers until Prof Attar he taught so well that math seemed easy to me. Like any regular class study is key component to passing exams. The Best Math Professor I've had. I had to retake this class because my other professor explained way too fast but Professor Attar explains very good he helps you after class and during quizes, he cares for his students and wants them to pass. Mr. attar is awesome. He knows his job pretty well. Gives us pretty good examples and easy ways to learn new stuff. Home Works are good too. All quizzes are open book with groups. He makes homework pretty short and easy for all. 3 Test and a departmental final. You will leave 20mins early and if u wanna ask questions then stay! SIMPLE

This is sad to say but should be an inspiration to anyone reading this comment. I failed math 0309 three times prior to taking Prof. Attars class. He made math so simple for once in my life and gave the whole class so much help. Prof. Attar really wants all his students to pass. TAKE HIM ! YOU WILL PASS MATH AND UNDERSTAND IT!

I don't know where to begin with the compliments for Professor Attar. He is an amazing professor. He wants you to pass, so he extends himself to tutor after class on homework questions and/or lecture. He's very caring and calm. He breaks down the problems in the lecture to the point of understanding clearly. I would most definitely recommend him!

I tried taking math 1314 previously after failing. I took this class on summer and well it was easy for me. The test are the quizzes. The teacher cares that you I guess wont get disappointed. Sometimes you can get really disappointed and frustrated. This class did not make me feel stupid and I passed with an A. He teaches good.

Professor Attar was very good at explaining the work we had to do in class. He cared a lot about us understanding what we went over. There aren't many professors that care so much about you learning, but he helps you if you're stuck. I recommended him to a friend, and I am glad I took his class because I'm not very good at math and he helped me.

Not gonna lie, despite him always helping you and going over things thoroughly and slowly I still felt very confused by some things, but I think that was personally just me. But other things I finally learned and understood after years of failing. He will always help you and doesn't make you feel dumb even if you keep on having trouble with it.

Its been 13 years since I looked at an algebra problem. I was nervous, I continued to put off taking algebra bc I feared it would lower the GPA I worked so hard to achieve. I took 0106 as a requirement before taking 0332P. If you have difficulties in algebra he's your guy. His patience and easy shortcuts will really help you understand it so much better.

I took his 5 week summer class. Lectures were recorded, Respondus Lockdown Browser w/webcam was required for all tests and quizzes. I used photo math and mathway on every test, quiz and hw assignment. I did the bare minimum and didn't study at all, yet I passed with a low B. If you make more of an effort than I did you'll for sure make an A.

Professor Attar is sweet,respectful, and is amazing at his job. This man needs a raise! All the times that i took him i got a high A. You have to work for your grade, but trust me makes it easy.

Best teacher EVER! Lectures are really informational and always checks on students and asks questions to make sure everyone understands the concepts. He reviews each quiz and test prior to test dates and they're very helpful refreshers. Textbook helps but I barely used it. Great Professor, if you don't understand the lecture he will explain it. Quizzes are taken in groups and open notes. Tests are taken alone. Overall great understanding of the class and no problems with the professor.

Prof. Attar was really nice, clearly reviewed materials. Always went over quizzes (total of 5), 2 attempts. Tests (3) were like quizzes. One final exam. Hw is important, uses ConnectMath, unlimited retries. Course calendar was accurate. Easy to talk to. When we didn't have enough time in class, he made videos from home, really cool for that.

He is not your typical snobby professor that makes judgement and is pretty professional with all that he does. Professor Eddy Attar is a great math professor. He records classes for students' convenience and listens to their needs. He's not a tough grader, and homework is manageable. He adjusts schedules and helps struggling students. If you are not good at math and keep struggling, please take this class my math is abysmal but got an A class is worth it.

He will go out of his way to help you and won't leave till you understand. Wish I could take him for every math class I take. He is the sweetest and most caring professor ever I wish him the best retirement.

He is the best teacher i have had my entire college experience, I'm so grateful that i got to have him as a professor before he retired.
