One of the best professors I have ever had.His intro to Sociology class was pretty easy. As long as you pay attention to the power points. He's a really wonderful man with a lot of interesting stories that made the class pretty fun. I would recommend it.

Dr. Lynton is very friendly and approachable both inside and outside of the class. He is also clear and concise in his lectures. The projects are not difficult but provide good experience. Average writingreading expectations. Class attendance and a minimal amount of work outside the class are sufficient to pass.

Dr. Lynton is a great professor he makes you think beyond your ability and takes you out of your shell to speak infront of people. He is very energetic and keeps the class focused. You will learn a lot if you read the material and engage in the classroom discussions. I recommend you taking a class with him .

Dr. Lynton is a real good professor, very lenient and understanding, although he does sometimes forget some things its all good, he gives us extra time to do them. His teaching methods are very hands on first person experience so you can get the full effect and really understand what he wants you to know. By far the best professor i've ever had.

Family violence class taught me a lot. I enjoyed the class discussions and group projects he had us participate in. We presented in UCD which was a blast. I recommend taking Dr. Lynton whether it's for this class or any class. He is funny and very nice! This is a hard topic but the class handles every topic was respect. TAKE HIM!

Not going to lie, it took me a while to warm up to this class. But by the end of the semester, I found myself disappointed that we had missed so many scheduled class times. Love that the professor is a go with the flow kind of guy and it's more about understanding material than how many tests he can give.

Dr. Lynton's Victimology class has great lectures, most every class he takes participation points so read and stay on top of your work. He is very nice and funny so that helps with the class because some of the topics are hard to talk about since it is a victims class. He is teaching you what to look for and it helps with your own life. Take him!!!

overall love the class but only negative thing to point out is that the class revolves around response papers requiring a response paper almost every week.

Every time I take a class with Dr. Lynton I always end up learning and taking more than what I had initially thought I would learn. I can say that I will use what I learned here out in the field.

Dr. Lynton is an easygoing teacher and awesome! He is organized and has all the material on the class page. His information for the class is easily processed and we do critical thinking exercises. Little participation which helps to work with others and for the future. This class is stress free and fun. He is always available to students.

This class was really interesting! Every time the students met for class, we usually were put into groups to do activities associated with the chapters we read that week. Instructor was ready to help and reminded us to call or e-mail if we had any questions or concerns. Instructor made the class really fun and engaging this semester!

This was my first night class at TWU and although we did get out pretty late Dr. Lynton tried his best to get everything covered in a timely mannered. The class is very easy, just turn in your assignments on time & read the book and the answers are right in front of your eyes.

Dr. Lynton is always there for his students and always has your back. Simply do what he says in the syllabus, come to class prepared and do all the assignments and you will get an A. He is very fair and has fun with his students.

Dr. Lynton makes the time in class an enjoyable learning experience. There are not many professors that can engage in the way that he does with students. I took a 2.5 hour long class that met once a week and time flew by. Good teacher and good class.

Loved this class, there are a lot of group activities within class time, but if you have him for 2:30 hrs its fun instead of just sitting through a lecture! Although he has really great lectures and keeps everyone engaged! Only thing I can complain about is TOO many reader questions!

In this class where sometimes very difficult subject matter is taught, Dr. Lynton not only brings the issues to light as well as makes it come to life. Dr. Lynton needs a raise, the only ways you fail this class is you don't pay attention or don't come at all . He makes it so hard for you not to to pay attention because he keeps every one engaged in the course. So, the only true way to fail is to not come to class.

Great professor.

Dr. L is very straight forward. if you come to class and do the work you will pass. All his test are online multiple choice. Must come to class because you will do group work and it also counts as a participation grade. He is easy to talk to and very funny!

Reading is key to this class, each week there is a new reader question that goes into each chapter. If you don't read you get left behind. There are 2 fun assignments that really get the students out into the real world. I enjoy that aspect because it helps get us prepared.

This class was a general education class but I walked away from it wanting to change my career path. Everything is clearly laid out, he makes it easy to follow, and the book is well written. He is understanding if something happen and gives good feedback. If you do not take him you are missing out on a great criminal justice experience!

Dr. Lynton is very committed to his class and provides a great learning environment (handshakes, always smiling, encouraging student participation). It was a pleasure to spend 1h15min every Tuesday and Thursday in this class that thinks outside the box and is very interactive. It's also cool to have a teacher who speaks from experience.

Loved Dr. Lynton ! Great Man

I cannot tell you of a day where I found his lectures boring. He has a way of keeping everyone engaged. He had 5 exams, 10 easy quizzes, a FEMA assignment, and a few assignments that require you to make a commercial. They are really simple, and as long as you do it, you'll earn the grade. Workload is not heavy and you'll take something with you.

Prof. Lynton's class is engaging and interactive. The workload is manageable, with exams, quizzes, and projects that allow you to apply what you learn. I found unstuck study helpful for study prep, along with the free textbook. Overall, a great class experience.

Dr. Lynton is an amazing individual, who like he's mentioned, would never hesitate to give us a hand, of course he can be strict if we don't respond back to him but once that whole bit is over he goes back to being the go lucky guy that he is! (Also you should check out his and Dr. Adkinsons comic book room!)

Teaching style is more do a lecture for half the class time or less then get the students to participate in what we're learning that day. Lectures are fun and the class partricipitation makes time go by fast and enjoyable.

It's a special topics class called Perception and Reality. So get ready to look at a lot of news, media in general, group projects and a lotttt of debates. Other than that just show up and talk, It is a fun class.

This was my first time having having Dr. Lynton as a professor and I loved the class. You can tell Dr. Lynton is passionate about the subject and cares about the individual student. The majority of the classes are very collaborative and keep you engaged. Overall 10/10.

Dr Lynton is more than a teacher and aims to know his students on a personal level which helps the learning environment. Great professor. I would most definitely take him again.

Dr. Lynton is one of my favorite professors. He is an extremely fair grader and genuinely cares about his students and their opinions. He provides a learning environment that encourages active participation. This is the second class I have taken with him and hope to take more before I graduate.

I love Dr. Lynton's class! You will always be on your toes, but you will have a blast in this class. Be prepared for anything!
