Absoulute best teacher in the world! He helps you with anything you need if you have questions all you have to do is text him or email him and he will help you out. He gives you study guides before every test. The test are very easy they come straight from the study guide. BEST TEACHER EVER!!!

Yes, I gave this professor a good rating. He is easy, helpful, and clear. However, nothing you learn in his class will stick with you. It's all open book tests and spitting back facts. If you care about actual LEARNING, take someone else. Also, don't buy that ridiculously overpriced book- you don't need it.

He was the most unusual teacher I have ever had. He got straight to the point and never saw the need to keep us for the whole class with busy work. If you show up to class and take notes, it is almost impossible to fail.

Excellent teacher! Going to class is not necessary, but I would recommend to take the notes. He lets out early (lecture and lab) and gives study guides with the exact questions that will be on the test.

Words cannot explain how wonderful Mr Nebel is. I took him for Biology and Micro and passed with a "B" both times. I love this teacher and wish he taught more classes, just so I can take him again. Anyone who pass up the opportunity to take one of his classes are crazy!!!!!!

literally so easy, the study guide is the test.

fall 16, Bio 141, 143, 114 ( the hardest). I can honestly say he knows his stuff and convey the information to student great. Being a biology 1 class I could also tell that he tried to keep the material as simple as possible. He grades test fast. The bio 141 and bio 114 consist of 5 test. Bio 143 is 2 test. I earned A's in all courses.

Nebel was an amazing teacher, I took his class for micro211, he explains lectures very well, test are straight forward from the study guides, study the study guides and you will ace the class.

Mr. Nebel is a great teacher. He gives great study guides but if you do not know the material he told you to study, you will not pass the test. No multiple choice or anything like that. Test is almost identical to study guide. Will take again for future classes.

Mr. Nebel is AWESOME! I would take him for every class if I could. I took him for Micro and Biol lec/lab, his grading and what is expected is so clear for all of his test. If you know the study guide, you will know the test. TAKE HIM!

The semester is just beginning and I can honestly say that Mr. Nebel is the best! He is caring, very understanding, & such a sweet guy! Mr. Nebel is fantastic! There are 6 tests and I believe 1-2 papers throughout this semester. The first test was a breeze! I must say that everyone who said the study guides are the test were right! Mr. Nebel is an awesome instructor. Although attendance is not mandatory, you want to come to class because he will give you the information that will be on the test. He doesn't give trick questions. What he says will be on the test, is on the test. We had 4 tests, no cumulative. Would most definitely take again.

This is my second time taking microbiology lab and he make it real easy to understand and more fun than last time I took it. Really makes sure you know what you need to know and explains everything. I definitely recommend taking him.

It was really awesome, the material is just difficult at times. He doesn't spoon feed you. You have to know the material and no how to apply it. Would def take him again.

This was probably the best format Ive seen from a professor in my college career. Hes super nice and wants you to succeed! He has study guides for each exam that you just fill in with your notes and etc. and youll pass! Studied hard but he made it so simply, especially compared to other professors at dcc.

Just finished a 4-week mini-session on-line course. As a working professional, this format was perfect for me! He made everything very clear and understandable. He also held regular optional meetings in case anyone needed to go over things in person. I wish all teachers taught like him!

Taking him for virtual on-line covid class. Really makes sure everyone has everything they need. Laid back and makes things interesting. Pay attention to what he says to study. You should definitely take his classes!

I have to say that I found his lecture monotonous, he didn't explain it in a way that was easy for ME to understand (extreme visual learner). However, I studied all the materials he provided us, which was very helpful!

He gives you a chapter reading and assignments due from that chapter each week to keep you on track to take the exam. Around 4 chapter per exam. Wish I took him for lab also!!!

Best professor I've ever had. Watch his videos and know the study guide & related material forward and backwards like he says. (There's only 33 questions so it's easy to mess up.) His lectures are interesting and he makes things easy to understand. Might even miss hearing..."Right? Right." He cares about his students!

Professor Nebel was awesome this Spring Semester. Even though the class was online he made sure we understood each module. He made time to have open lab for students who need it, gave us time to complete each assignment and gave us the opportunity to finish the work ahead of time. I would definitely recommend him to other students in the future.

I took this class because I failed Biology at LSU back to back. This was by far the easiest class I have ever taken. All you have to do is study the study guide and you will pass the test. The test is the study guide, but just reworded. Professor Nobel was very understanding and cared about all students passing.

I took this class online, but he welcomes you to attend in person lecture or labs if needed & vice versa for in person enrolled students! Easy to understand. Print PPT and take notes on them during lecture. Pay CLOSE ATTENTION to weekly quiz questions. Those questions come up on exams, the final or very similar questions. Love him!

Very knowledgeable in Microbiology. Class isn't about taking a lot of notes but about listening. Do your work at your own pace until test day. He has study guides for tests, stick to those and you'll pass easily. Finish the textbook assignments and easy A it is. Learned so much in here and he makes the class entertaining and personable.

Biol 211 is an easy class with Prof Nebel, If you study the Study guides i promise you, you will do well on the test, Even though i took him face to face for this class he allows students to choose online with lockdown browser or face to face to take exams. He is a very caring guy and knowledgeable in Microbiology.Take him you wont be disappointed.

I usually go city park campus, but I've heard so many good things about Mr. Nebel I had to take him for Bio210, he is easy going, hilarious and makes lectures easy to understand. Clearly breaks down the material and I enjoyed his class, 10/10 will take again!

Dr Nobel is great, the class was hard mainly because of all the scientific names to memorize. But the lectures were super conscience and informative. His study guides are super to the point and the tests reflected that. There are a few assignments each chapter that were helpful for boosting grade. Would definitely take his classes again.
