Calc2 is the hardest math I've ever taken and I got an A thanks to Edilio. He is a brain; he teaches in a way that you understand everything. He was my tutor for Calculus 1&2 and I love him. Took mac1133 and 1105 with Edilio. Both had online HW and multiple test. Took mac1147 with him and it's an easy going lectures, but the content is difficult. His an easy professor, but for Mac1147 was not a walk in the park and had no HW but seven test. His very funny and approachable.

This guy explains everything steps by steps so there is no way you can fail in his class. He has an accent and is difficult to understand. Most students used their phones during his tests/exams but he will take away your test/exam and give you a zero if he catches you the second time. He cares about his students and wants all of them to pass. He'll even give you extra points if you go to the lab to do the review before each test/exam.

He always explained everything that was going to be on the test. If you completed the study guides, you could use them as extra credit on your tests. Each assignment usually had 8-12 questions, while the quizzes were 5 and completed at home. Formulas could be written on the board for tests occasionally. Overall the class was really easy.

He is hands down the best professor by far i have taken. He gives chances after chances and works with you if you have a bad grade or a grade that worries you. Furthermore, the practice is basically the test. Also helps is going to the Math tutoring lab. He even implies to go. Do what your suppose to do and you will not fail.

Since it was remote learning w/ Covid, tests were multiple choice and probably a much easier class than in person conditions, but he still did a great job of teaching foundations for future classes. His lectures are straight to the point, he would usually finish class an hour early, he always gave extra credit opportunities for his tests, do your homework because it really boosts your grade. He will help you pass, trust me. His accent is heavy but you will be able to overlook it because he really does help you get your grade up. Take him.

Ver thick accent and fast lectures but if you really want an A, this is the class to take. Redo the questions outside of class. He gives A LOT of extra credit opportunities. We got 4 module test and a cum. final. He told us exactly the types of questions we would be getting. He does reviews before each test and lowest grade gets replaced by finals.

One of the best math professors ever! Gives a lot of extra credit opportunities and even though you gotta take notes class in his class, he's very straightforward. The accent could be a bit of a problem for some but it's no big deal. Before the five tests that are needed to take for the class grade, he gives study guides with clear exc. examples.

Professor Hernandez's lectures are straightforward, though his heavy accent takes some getting used to. The homework and tests can be challenging, but he provides helpful study guides. unstuck ai proved invaluable for test prep. Overall, he's an engaging professor who wants you to succeed.

If you're taking trigonometry for credits, this professor is the way to go, he makes your life a lot easier. Best math teacher so far.

After not taking math for what seemed forever ago, I stumbled across Prof. Hernandez on his MDC live class. Although a heavy accent, he really helped me by looking over tests and giving the class extra 5 points if they used the math lab to prepare for tests. Lots of homework's, 4 tests and an optional final exam. Overall, I enjoyed his class.

I took his class this spring very understand, book make sure you show up for class every day because you will be lost if you don't. participate in class which make the class more fun. Hi attitude very much welcoming ask any question he is happy to go over it with you and help you understand. Take his class if you want pass trust me very easy.

Best math professor at MDC,just take the class you will learn a lot and it's very easy to pass.

No need to turn on camera/mic for Zoom. All HWs open to do at own rate. No exam (including final) is proctored (MAC 1147). Heavy accent. Very kind. Tip: Accelerate/finish all HWs in the 1st week so you are free for the rest of the semester, and just show up for exams on the dates he opens them. Usually cuts class earlier. Easy A, just HW heavy.

4 tests and one final, HW all open at start of class and due at end of semester. Extra credit every test for completing test review with on campus tutoring. Classes are quick and tests weren't proctored. Had to provide pictures of your work for exams. Extremely helpful and will cooperate with you if needed.

TAKE HIM! All HWs are open from beginning of semester. Get that over with quick! There's 4 tests and 1 final, all done on MyMathLab, nothing proctored, extremely easy to Ace. Final exam's grade will replace lowest Test grade. Heavy accent. Attendance is NOT mandatory. If you want an easy A+ without learning that much Calc, take him.

He is a great teacher, it was an extremely easy class. If you want an easy way or free class take him, he gives 4 test and a final all nonproctored, you just need to provide the work after turning it in. All the homework is done through pearson and lets you do it till the last day of class, and if you need to retake a test he is considerate.
