She was very nice and knows her subject well. The tests/quizes were a little hard, and the reading was piled on. The one thing that really bugged me-she never went over what we read, just the history behind everything(which wasnt neccessary for this course..) So I still dont know what the hell was goin on in some of the stuff we reading.

Her class was a little hard, but not too bad. She gives so much extra credit. The reading load is a bit much. If you keep up on the readings the class will be easy, and if not just do one of the many extra credit assignments. She gave out about ten or twelve. Enough to raise ones grade about 10%. Not a bad class at all.

A lot of reading and she expects you to understand it all without explaining any of it. Read and figure out all the twists and turns and you will be fine for the quizzes/tests. This woman is possibly the worst teacher at SDSU. Actually, she doesn’t teach, she just gives hand outs left and right like we are in elementary school again and puts us into groups. Dr. Frampton is straightforward. The is a lot of reading, bu this IS a literature course. Attendance is mandatory, and she will definitely know your name within the first few weeks. She's really nice and helpful. Basically, attend class and do your readings, and you will be off to a good start. Tests are all short answer questions. Good luck!

She is a pretty easy A, but there is a lot of reading. My problem with her is that she believes objective writing is obsolete. She is also very elitist in her idea that everyone should write in the first person. exams were timed so that you had no time to even think what the right answer is, grade is heavily weighed on these exams and you have NO time. is so paranoid about cheating and will have you talk to her about unnecessary things. gives extra credit but it has no weigh in the final grade. this is supposed to be an easy class..

I learned to have fun writing from Dr. Frampton and I'm super grateful. You read two novels for the class so start early and you'll ace the class. No required meetings on campus or Zoom. Tons of extra credit - do it all. Best prof at SDSU!

She is kind and very interested in students' learning. Don't want to learn? This class is not for you. Papers/tests are based on detailed reading assignments and lectures. Class is asynchronous but you won't pass if you don't do the reading or want to use AI on assignments. I learned more in this class about writing than any other course at SDSU!

OMG, Frampton is the best professor at SDSU! I learned more in one office hour with her than all my previous Eng teachers. She spends time and care with her students. The class is asynchronous. Readings and lectures are a must for doing well on exams and papers. Using AI will not get you a passing grade.

unrealistic times for exams. Gives little to no feedback as to why grades are low. Is extremely paranoid of everyone using AI, assumes if your answer is "generic" or "simple" that you used AI, it was supposed to be a simple class and was fully online. Don't take this class if you have this professor, go with someone else.

Dr. Frampton saved me, and I'm so grateful!!! A different prof in the Eng Dept told me I should change majors because I didn't have what it takes, but Frampton helped me to become a great writer by finding my true voice. I loved reading Zadie Smith's White Teeth in her class and the discussions of racism in Britain.

She was very nice! Her energy was amazing but the way exams are based on the lecture and all the books she provides you. Embedded quizzes you can take as many times so don't worry too much. Her course mainly composed of discussion boards and embedded quizzes. Super easy and not a lot of stress!

Where do I even begin? She is passionate about her work, she is passionate about her students, and most of all, passionate about making sure you pass! She is a fountain of literature knowledge, and I would take all of her classes if I could each semester. If you run into ANY issues, just communicate with her. She is very flexible and kind.

Dr. F is sooo sweet and an angel. Her class was easy besides the exams. We had 60 questions with 30 min. The class average was around a D. DO ALL THE EXTRA CREDIT thats the only thing that saved my grade. She gives amazing feedback and is so helpful and kind. The rest of the class were discussion boards and a final essay and presentation. Take her!

For being online, the in person work was less than ideal. Difficult with scheduling unless you knew people in the class already. She was super kind and lectures were fun. Class exams are unrealistic with 30 minutes for 60 questions and use lockdown browser. Class grades were a low average for the exams. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT!

Lectures were fun, and the books were intriguing although very chunky. Lots of work and exams were difficult being that they were 30 min for 60 questions. And along with the final exam, there is also a final paper. The workload is honestly too much if you work, too. Discussion boards were always interesting to read. I would love to take her again.

She only has 3 tests and if you do bad on just one of them, you are 100% failing the entire class unless you do ALL the extra credit which is insane. She also uses Respondus Browser which makes it very difficult to take online tests when some peoples laptops cannot back it up because not everyone has a nice new laptop.

ENG 544. Okay so I've taken her twice yall. She's the nicest prof ever. Test are hard but I never studied so duh. I failed all the tests except the final, got an 85, and ended up with an A- overall. Everything else is so easy and do all the extra credit to pass! Everything else she gave 100% on so just focus on the tests fr. You can do it !!

Professor Frampton is one of my all-time favorites. I had to retake this course due to extenuating circumstances in my personal life, and she was super understanding. As someone who is disabled, when I needed to use my accommodations, she was super flexible and happy to offer alternatives. Overall a great experience.

This professor made an online class feel impossible. The final project (which you worked on all semester) required you to meet up in person with a group. Her exams were super short time frames with lots of questions, making it impossible to think through any choices. She did offer extra credit, probably the only reason a lot of us still passed.

Second time taking this professor, her exams are insanely tough and you do not get enough time. There was a lot of reading on top of the lectures, made it pretty impossible to keep up with her weekly schedule. She does offer extra credit, DO IT! You also are required to meet on zoom with a small group 3 times throughout the semester.

Professor Frampton seems like a lovely person but she somehow expects us to take a 50 question exam in 30 minutes which is truly impossible. I understand wanting your students in an online class to not cheat, but at least give one minute per question. class is extremely lecture and reading heavy so it was hard to keep up if you have other classes

Professor Frampton seams to be a nice person and she does give us a lot of extra credit oportunities. However, she expects us to answer 75 questions in 40 minutes! That's humanly impossible. I understand that she is trying to avoid cheating but 30 seconds per question is not nearly enough time.

This class was honestly a waste of time. We are expected to take a 50 question exam in 30mins for the final without being able to go back to questions. On top of that, the questions are dependent on 1 word differences. I have worked so hard in this class and over 1/3 of your points are dependent on the last week of classes.
