i LOVE her! she's like a grandmother to you. so nice, easy grader. lectures are interesting, tests are word for word off the review. the ONLY prof you should take for this course!

Mrs. MacDonald is an accomplished American History Professor. She is well read and enjoys the study of American History and human nature. Although she is older than your typical college professor, she uses e-mail to communicate with her student.

Easy A! All tests were take home. 2 essays over movies watched in class. Just go to class(its kinda boring)and you will do fine.

Pretty easy. she emails you if you have questions, even though she's about 145 yrs old. you dont have to go to class because tests are take-home and straight from the book, and even in order. make sure you go to class on video days though(essays)

Class is really borring. She gives a review that if u look up all the answers in the book you will do well in the class. You must go to class on video days and take notes because u write an essay in class on one of the videos. No real work to do in class just site there and listen to her talk.

Easiest teacher EVER. All you have to do is read the book and show up for test days and video days. We had an Essay Day instead of having to write a bunch of essays. Her tests are easy and weighted. In class she goes over questions for review that could be looked up.

Yea she changed her style of not having take home tests but the class is still easy. Just come to review days where she tells u basically everything on the test which you have to look up in book, theres curves, and need to go on video days! Overall sweet she reminds you of a grandma

Very nice professor who I believe to be fair. She uses common sense in her grading and overall structure of the class. She'd rather teach than create a bunch of busy work for students. Her tests are pretty easy as long as you use the study guide

EDIE MAC is sneaky indeed! Heres what you have to do to get an A. (I did it) 1. Go to class and be her friend lol. 2.Only study the day before the test and memorize ALL her key points (which are basically the test questions). 3. For her essay do not misspell any word like annalyzed the mutha. = A!

Easy easy easy. Don't have to go to class other than on video days. All you have to do to get an A is study either from the CD that comes with the book (they are the exact questions from the test) or make index cards and simply memorize them. She tells you every topic you need to know for the tests. Just be nice and you're guarenteed an A!

Edith MacDonald is a very sweet person. I never saw her when she wasn't smiling. The test review sheets consist of everything on the exams. Do the online stuff and you are guaranteed a good grade. The video sheet and essay are a piece of cake. I highly recommend this teacher!

she is such a cute little old lady. She gave us all of the originally 10 point open note quizzes to take home and just bring back to class finished. She showed us multiple videos and we had to do one page writeups on them. Very easy teacher. very nice lady and very understanding.

I hardly ever went to class (only on exam days and due dates). I still managed to get an A in this class just by going to the textbook website and memorizing answers to multiple choice, key terms, and key people. Exams are word for word from textbook website. Edith is a VERY kind person though.

Ok, to get an A in the class, just do the online study guides and watch the videos in her class. I would have gotten an A if it weren't for the first test we took. My internet was down and I couldn't do the online practice. Seriously, the video essays I typed in class while watching the videos. You will go just fine in this class.

This class is REALLY easy as long as you do the online questions, they are practically the same as the ones on the test. Go to class on the video days, the writing assignments are VERY simple... she is definitely one of your easiest choices!

This is THE sweetest lady EVER. She's a really easy grader and keeps the subject interesting with cool little facts mentioned throughout her speeches. I HIGHLY recommend taking the course during the summer. I got the highest grade in the class! :D

One of the easiest classes iv ever taken she gave us 17 take home tests i got a 100 on every one i dont think i did more than 2 on my own and the final was just a mix of the questions from the tests .... she is extremely nice and trys to be funny we got out early every day if you dont get an A your either beyond lazy or dont belong in college

Very nice lady. Make sure u go 2 class b/c you never know when she will put on a video, which is VERY IMPORTANT 4 your grade. I must admit I was lazy in her class and but I still ended up with a B. Thank God for that take home final!!!! If you read and look at the key words and people on the review list that she gives, you'll do fine on her tests.

I've never liked History, still don't, but this is THE easiest class I've ever taken. All tests are directly (verbatim) from online quizzes (which you can redo before e-mailing to her for perfect score). If a student fails to get an "A" in this course, then they made NO effort. An easy "A."

Seriously, this class is a joke. Don't bother buying the book. Weekly quizzes which you can do until you get the grade you want, all exams come STRAIGHT from quizzes, and 2 easy papers. I never went to class and have around a 98 average. I still can't get over what a joke this class is, take her for EASY A, not to learn!

WOW! SO GREAT! You don't have to go to class, there is no class on Fridays because u take a quiz online which is ridiculously easy (no studying required at all due to the set up of the website, if u know what i mean). For tests you simply memorize the quizzes and get an A. 1 or 2 papers assigned but it's nothing when you see how simple the class is

Great professor, her lectures are like stories and heavily supplemented by videos. Class is only Mon. and Wed. Fri is for "online study". The exams are straight from the online quizzes. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK (you don't need it for anything she requires you to do and she doesn't want you to use it for the essay). Easy A class.

I took this class in the summer. For summer we had 3 exams and all of them were based on the quizzes she assigns=easy. However class is somewhat mandatory because she will play videos but she will ask questions that you have to answer in a bluebook and at the end of class she stamps them to prevent ppl from doing it at home. overall very easy class

She's such a sweet older lady. You can tell she knows a lot about her history, and knows what she's talking about. One of the easiest classes. You must have an access code to pass her class though. A lot of the assignments are online. If you review online, her tests are really easy. You shouldn't have a problem passing with an A+.

DO NOT RENT THE REQUIRED TEXTBOOK. All the quizzes are taking using the textbook access code. She then copy and pastes the quiz questions for the test. If you memorize the quiz questions, you'll be passing. She does take attendance only when she shows a video in class. It is difficult to determine when this will be; show up most of the time

This course was so easy! And the professor is such a sweet lady. I wish I had her again now that I am in AMH 2020. But that class was a breeze. Just show up, because she takes attendance almost every day. Thats it. The only grades she puts in are attendance, online quizzes (EASY!), 3 tests (pulls questions from the quizzes), and a research paper.
