Very enthusiastic. You can tell she loves her job. She gives great examples, and makes sure you understand fully what she's talking about. Very interesting at times. She shows great videos to go along with what you're talking about, to help you learn more.

Ms. Strickland is so nice, she is very helpful, and wants to make a difference in students' lives. Her tests aren't hard if you go to class, and maybe crack the book, but WARNING--if you take her, give her the respect she deserves- don't walk out of her class to answer a phone call, even though she will say nothing. I will come after you!!

I recommend anyone majoring in business to take her class before leaving TCC because she is so easy and you really don't have to purchase the book for the class because she has all the notes for the exams and she gives you critical thinking questions before each exam so you know exactly what is on the exam.

VERY EASY all classes are cancel on FRIDAYS :) because she puts the work blackboard, very easy I hardly paid attention made D's on my test for GEB1011 final exam Extra EASY passed this course with a B+, took her for FIN1100 hardly listen made a B+ in that course as well, offers extra credit and her work is super easy.

I took the class online. The assignments were easy and she makes it clear what she expects you to know on the test. I would take her again.

She is the best business teacher!! I took it as an elective class, and she was super and easy. Just do the work, and you'll do fine, tests were not hard at all. We did one group project, but she doesnt grade hard at all! I HIGHLY recommend her!

There are no surprises with her.Text book is MANDATORY to pass this class. Her teaching style leaves a lot to be desired BUT it will make a lot more sense when you study the text book. Tests are fair, lots of bonus points opportunities. If you're the sort who likes to be spoon-fed every step of the way, don't take her. Overall, I liked her.

Terrific professor and a nice lady. You HAVE to read the book and do the assignments according to the syllabus. Then everything makes perfect sense AND it's easier to keep up. I would take her again....

She is a great techer. She gies plenty of opportunities to get extra credit. If you come to class on the day after you took a test, she will give extra credit points just for coming to class. Once I made a flat 65D on a test, but I did so much extra credit and always came to class, my grade ended up being a 82B just for that test. TAKE HER!!!!

You should go to class and take notes. She shows various kinds of resources, so the class is not boring. Besides, she tries to give students good grades providing several extra credit chances. Thus, if you're not that lazy, you will get A. You need to buy a book with MyBizLab access code. Take her!

Took class online, good and helpful teacher. Tests are kinda hard and you have to go to the testing center to take them but if you study you should do pretty well

Financial Accounting itself is very hard, but Mrs. Strickland explained very well and gave us a lot of extra points. Go to class and do what she asked you to do. You get A (or B).

Ms. Strickland is the sweetest lady ever. DO THE WILEYPLUS HW!! it can really help or hurt your grade. She moves fast so DEFF read the chapters before class. She gives a lot of extra credit and take advantage of it! By the 3rd test you'll def. need it. Accounting is a hard class but she makes it as easy as possible.

Mrs. Strickland is probably the nicest Accounting teacher you'll come by. She's really enthusiastic about her class and she really wants all of her students to pass. So, she's really helpsul, you just have to pay attention, do the hw and try to keep up with her because she tends to go a little fast with the notes, but she gives a lot of examples.

Mrs. Strickland is a wonderful teacher and an even better person. She will bend over backwards for her students and the respect most students have for her is apparent. Accounting is a tough class, but Mrs. Strickland comes to class with a smile on her face everyday and she truly cares about her students well being. Wonderful to say the least.

Professor Strickland is amazing! Her curriculum is well thought out and she empowers her students with everything tool they need to succeed. Accounting can be tough, but Strickland goes above and beyond to help her students. I definitely recommended taking her class!

She is a very nice lady, but her tests are just not what she teaches. You post and post and post in class but you are tested on vocabulary. It's a bit annoying to understand exactly what she teaches and not know what to expect on the tests. The Wiley homework is useless.

i love her. she is very upbeat and personable. tries to make the class as easy as possible. shes very clear. but make sure you read the textbook. she goes over a lot of problems in class but her test have a lot of vocabulary so make sure you not only know how to post transactions but are fluent with the terminology.

I am taking two of Mrs. Strickland's online courses (FIN 1100 and GEB 1011) and she is a wonderful teacher! She responds to your emails quickly and she tries to help you and every way possible. I wish I was able to take her on campus courses. Take her she is the best!

In this class, you must read unless you already have a background in the subject. If you read, you'll pass the weekly quizzes. There are 3 tests and they count as 75% of your grade. If you fail the tests, you will most fail the class.

WONDERFUL Professor! She give GREAT explanations and she's actually kinda funny! She explains things in a very understandable way. She's really nice and upbeat. Tests are challenging but COMPLETELY Passable (i got an A on all of them) 4 tests, wiley plus assignments, and cumulative final. SHE IS AWESOME! TAKE HER!!

Amazing financial accounting professor. She was organized, helpful, and answered all questions. She breaks down a difficult subject and explains it in a way that it can be genuinely learned. She's kind and really wants her students to suceed. The course is difficult, but if you attend class, do your homework, and attend reviews, you'll do well.

AMAZING TEACHER!! If you are like me you've heard horror stories about financial accounting so I was really scared. She has made me love this class and has taught everything in such a great way I'm so happy to have picked her. 10/10 would take again. Yes the actual class is tough but she makes is a lot better.

Amazing teacher, there is a lot of work with this class but she is so sweet and understanding. Make sure you do all of your assignments , if your having trouble message her she responds back quickly and helps you understand. I took two of her classes (FIN1100 + GEB1101 both online) over the summer and she was the bomb dot com , highly recommend.

Lets be honest, nobody really wants to take Accounting, but if you have to take it, id take it with Edith. She's a southern belle, that knows what she is talking about. But you have to put the work in. Go to class, do all the homework, and ahead of time because it takes a long time. GO to the tutor sessions she offers, and youll pass.

Professor Strickland was clear on here grading and what she expected. If you do the work and put in the time it's an easy A. I am taking her again in the Fall for Financial Accounting and I am looking forward to it!

Mrs. Strickland is a real gem who cares a lot about her students. If you don't understand something she will explain it carefully until you get it. Her lectures are not boring & they make you want to participate. The test are very straight forward from the material learned. You still must study but she's the best Accounting professor. Extra credit.

She is very helpful outside class keep up on your assignments, review her study guides for each test, and youre guaranteed to get B or C. Getting an A seemed possible in hind sight, but it would have taken every ounce of energy and perhaps a bit of luck. Still, accounting shouldn't be easy anyway so I welcomed the challenge and it was fun to learn.

Mrs. Strickland is a truly great teacher. It is obvious that she cares a lot about her students and their success, and will help you in any way possible (including a fair amount of extra credit). It may not be this way for every class, but in my class, she recorded lectures for online students, which we could access from the website. Overall great.

Had to retake this class after failing it last semester and ended up being very pleased with Ms. Strickland. She gives extra credit which will help you a lot and tests can be hard (since accounting itself is pretty difficult) but make sure you practice the textbook questions (which help) and watch the lectures (she makes good ones too!!)

Very hard concepts to learn so this course was very difficult for me, but the professor provided more than enough material for us to succeed with recorded class lectures etc. I had to spend more time studying for this than any class Ive ever taken before, but I enjoyed what I learned a lot and I def recommend this teacher for accounting.

You will work your butt of in the class but if you are a good student you will pass. Just study and make sure youre taking good notes, the tests really follow the study topics so study those! Overall a great experience & I will be taking her again for Managerial.

Ms. Strickland really is a wonderful teacher. You just have to do the work, meaning take notes ahead of the class because her lectures are pretty fast you won't have time to take all the notes in the class only enough time to highlight the important things. So stay on top of your notes, do the practice assignments, & study. You should survive :)

She offers extra credit for exams. If you ask a question she'll give you a thorough answer. Pay attention during lecture and you'll be fine.
