EASY class, interesting intro to communication studies, good for freshmen. He's not self-absorbed, he just has good life exp. & examples. Corny funny, but better than a total square, I'd say. Kellerman is a really nice guy!

Kellerman gets tougher in upper level division classes. But he's just as helpful as he was in COM1000. You just have to spend more time on his class this time around.

For a 2nd period class during the summer, Dr. K does a good job keeping us awake and entertained. It's an amusing and informative class. My favorite lecture so far is nonverbal communication...does the girl like you or not? Easy A to keep a 4.0 :)

Kellerman is a really nice guy, and always ready to help. This class is really easy as long as you mildly pay attention.

Study his study guides and you will guaranteed get an A in the exams. Do the extra credit.

Very nice and considerate. Gives extra credit and has random attendance checks, so show up to class. I think you have to work hard to get anything under an A in his class. He cares about students succeeding in his class and you will as long as you put in some sort of effort. No major reports.

random attendances, only 3 exams, no other work....i bought the notes for this class...showed up bc i had to, barely paid attention..got an A..read the short chapters at the end of the text book, sometimes they helped more on test than the notetakers notes

Good public speaker. Likes to speak about his personal life a lot! Tests aren't very challenging, but you must know material pretty well. Very detailed. Make sure you attend class, attendance taken- and movies are frequently shown, which makes class less boring. Extra Credit is given! Good luck!

Intercultural Communication- 1/2 the class are athletes. Just go to class. Do the papers. No tests. Don't even bother purchasing the textbook or his course packet. Got an A in the class without EVER using either. Easy A for Gordon Rule and S,I credit.

He's a cool guy. Talks about tennis alot and tries to be really "hip". Watched a lot of movies and he told good stories. It's an easy A, as long as you go to class bc he takes attendance and give ALOT of extra credit. Get the review from HIM-not the given in class- before the test and youll ace it!!

intercultural communication is a class that i recomend to anybody, not only because it is easy and you get both gr and I credits, but because you really learn alot about other cultures, it was so interesting to me, best class ever

Mr. Kellerman is a very cool guy. He does try to be hip in front of the class, but that is what makes him stand out from other professors, i mean he isnt some boring professor just standing up ther lecturing so boring.

He is an awesome guy, so willing to help you find sources, etc. He may not always have the most interesting stories to tell, but he is usually entertaining. I feel he is very likely to help you out if you really needed him, in or out of class.

A teacher who is extremely passionate for what he teaches; Communications within human beings. He knows his material in depth and has many real examples that are sean in every day life. I enjoy his class extensively with his entertaining stories and videos.

Funny interesting professor and an eassssy class. Would recommend the class to anyone. Make sure you go to class because there is an attendance grade. I found the content to be pretty interesting as well.

class is very easy. A lot of writing but is gordon rule. dont need to take notes in class or even read the book. no tests, only a few papers. he is helpful if you are struggling or will extend deadlines very easily. easy class, just writing. helpful and fun personality

Really easy class and nice professor. He has a lot of knowledge about the topic and always brings a great deal of videos as examples to supplement his lectures. I would totally recommend the course even as a general elective.

Easy and fun class. We watched lots of movies, never any homework. If you go to class and get all of your attendances, its not hard to get an A. I made Bs on my first two tests, with all of my attendance points and an A on the final, I pulled off an A.

I loved this class so much, and Kellerman is such an amazing professor. The lectures are witty, interesting, and insightful. I loved all of the videos he used as supplements, and the information really opened up an interest in future communication classes. He's the ultimate gator. Definitely take him before you leave UF!

I highly recommend Dr.Kellerman's classes especially if you need a boost for your GPA. As long as you memorize his notes for COM1000 and do the essays for SPC4710, you'll get an A in the class. Couldn't get any easier than this. I also highly recommend Diana Nagy's and Stephanie Webster's classes in the communication dept.

Great teacher, easy class! Prof. Kellerman makes everything very fun and interesting. Attendance is a grade but attending lectures is not boring or difficult; it is a fun class to sit through.

He's a good teacher who is passionate about what he does. Very funny and down-to-earth. He provides a LOT of help if you need it on your speeches and isn't too hard on you as far as grading. Makes you feel very comfortable speaking in front of the class. (Three times, actually.) ;)

I actually looked forward to his classes. He just showed funny videos and talked about family and tennis. Real nice guy as long as the class is respectful. Don't miss class, he takes random attendance.

Look, this is the easiest class at UF. If you want to meet some student-athletes, this class is for you. You are guaranteed an A if you show up for his attendance checks. The tests are THAT easy. I'm pretty sure this class was designed to keep jocks enrolled.

Cool teacher. The class is one of the few super easy classes left. Lots of opportunity for extra credit. and the class is interesting.

Very laid back prof and easy to listen to. If you want an easy A take this but if you're looking to see if you want to be a CSD major take SPA 2024 instead. Nice filler class is you need one more and don't want a lot of work. Easier classes are PLP2000,FOS2001,EEX3312,ENY1001.

really nice professor. goes with the flow. entertaining class. make sure you go to the review sessions he holds outside of class before exams, there he gives you all the info you need to know for the test.

Kellerman is hilarious. His lectures are fun to go to. I gave him a "hot" rating because one of the first days of class he mentioned his rating on "Rate my professor" and that he was disapointed no one rated him as being good looking. Do yourself a favor and take this class. Easy and fun at the same time! :)

Kellerman is by far the best professor I have had at UF! His lectures are so much fun and you do learn a lot. Kellerman wants all of his students to pass. Although attendance is not mandatory, he randomly one a week gives 5 extra credit points for attendance. If you study his study guide you cannot get anything less than a "B" on his exam.

Kellerman is the best guy in the world. period. he randomly takes attendance, but that should be moot as his class is fun and entertaining. if you study the study guide he gives out before each test you will do fine.

At first I thought Kellerman was a jerk- all he does is talk about himself. But he is actually a nice guy. The material is common sense- so easy. I would take this class over and over again- EASY A. And really cool videos.

He lectures us on double standards and then proceeds to perfectly emulate the model "bad example" all the while stroking his ego telling everyone to be like him. He unprofessionally bad mouths people he doesn't like and barks moral orders at his students as if he were the next Bodhisattva, while failing completely to practice what he preaches.

Cool teacher! He keeps the class interesting. i study the night before and day of test and got an A in the class. important: make sure you listen to the "key phrases" given and stick to the study guide and you will be fine!!

The dude is pretty stellar, go to class for extra credit and don't talk in class; he will put you in your place if you do. Make note cards on the study guide he gives you the day before the test and you should be fine. I highly recommend getting the course pack and reading the chapter before you go to class you'll be able to answer his questions.

For a communications professor he really is crystal clear... :D You will enjoy the Gator jokes, the home made videos, and the cheezyness of the class... but its still very enjoyable! Take it for the hell of it! :D it cooooolll :D

Dr. Kellerman is cool! Very open and hilarious. The course packet is available at on off campus bookstore that costs $50. you do not even need it if you attend class and go to the study sessions. Take this class :)

EASY and INTERESTING class. you can get the coursepack used and its way cheaper (plus u can luck out and get the study guides filled out too sometimes!)ridic easy tests if you read the chapters right before, the reviews he have too are benefical if u dont pay attention, he tells u the key words so u get an A. Take this class. Not the most interesting of subjects but he plays some pretty entertaining videos to go along with what he's teaching. Easy tests, but don't blow off studying for them. I got a 76 on the first one and A's on the next two. He can be funny, sometimes.

He is a very easy teacher. Make sure you go to lecture though as he takes his exam questions straight off of what he goes through in class. He also gives out attendance scores which makes going to class necessary if you want an A.

dr. k is super nice and easygoing. did a lot of writing, but it wasn't unmanageable for a gordon rule credit. be aware that he can be egotistical, but the class is interesting and worthwhile. lots of videos and dont have to take notes. 4 mini papers (1-2pgs) and 2 long ones (6ish pgs) w/ no exams. easy A if ya do the work!

6 mandatory/random attendance checks. If you go to the optional reviews given by the TA, she will tell you what to write on the study guide which is basically the test. Just study the study guide and you'll guarantee 100%'s on the tests. Kellerman is repetitive and can be obnoxious but a decent guy with simplistic but mildly interesting information

I took COM 1000 during summer B, and I find this class fairly easy. There are mandatory/random attendance checks. Also, there are extra credit opportunities that will only benefit your grade. His class requires a coursepack, which is only useful when an exam is coming up. Exams aren't that bad if you STUDY! Pay attention to the videos as well!

This is the funniest proffessor I've ever had. You have the random attendence checks/quizzes five or six times. No big deal. But the exams are straight off his review sessions, almost word for word. They are just vocab tests. I got a 98 in the class. Very easy going and fun class. Definately recommend it.

This class is really easy. Test questions are straight from the textbook (which isn't such a bad read) and he gives a good review sheet before every exam. He takes random attendance so go to class. Class can be very boring but he does random attendance which is part of your grade. If you study enough for the exams you can do good. Class averages for exams are usually around the 80's. Gives out extra credit so this can help out with your grade.

Don't be mistaken, Dr. Kellerman's class isnt as easy as say, FOS2001 or PLP2000 but it was still easy if you put some sort of effort. I thought it was going to be easy, but apparently not. I do not know how I messed up on the test. We all have our off classes though. I am sure it is doable for most of you tough.

Great buffer class, but you need to actually go to class, tests are based off the lecture and random videos/things he says. Its also beneficial to read the text, especially if you missed a class, all the info to fill in the notes outline is in the text part! Makes the subject entertaining and easy to relate to for all majors and ages

Very nice guy. Understands others' culture. Respect others. Definitely a lecturer that you can get along with. The Malaysian students like him very much for his nice characteristics.

Not the easiest A. Attendance is mandatory for a few points, then only three test grades and 10 pts extra credit. If you mess up on one test like I did, you're screwed. He talks way too much about himself so its boring in class. No text book, only outline packet, so you must take notes.

Its an even easier course when taken online. This is a really easy Gen ed and he gives a lot of extra credit where it can bring you up a whole letter grade or more. Just make a study guide for the tests and read all the articles. The reading quizzes are super easy and aren't timed.

One of the easiest online classes you will ever take. Sure, you have to keep up with the discussion posts every week. But, still. Very easy A with minimal studying. He gave SO MANY extra credit opportunities. The only reason you wouldn't get an A is because you're lazy.

Class is easy lectures boring

Take the class seriously - especially the presentations. I lost an A by 10 points because I wanted to blow off the final. Great class - instructor is passionate about the subject and has plenty of examples. Make sure you spend some time on your speeches and don't cover material he knows (i.e. communications, immigration, etc.) or he will drill you.

Online class, so not very difficult. As long as you read the necessary assignments then you will pass.

Kellerman is very knowledgable about his subject. You do need to buy his textbook, but it's cheap and small. His lectures are a tad annoying (I put them on 1.4 speed) but his tests are extremely predictable and all online. He does provide extra credit through quick research surveys and going to occasional events. Easy A and interesting content.

Great professor! I prefer his teaching style which is more focused on sharing a lot of his personal experiences and offering the class opportunities to share their experiences in different areas and less about reading a textbook. I find this method of lecturing a lot more interesting. The class is not too hard and if you show up you'll be fine.

He is a great teacher, passioned about his class. Wants to help you to grow. tough grader but will work with you if you ask for. Lots of stories and examples. Pretty reasonable. Gives extra credit by going to see speeches that he asks to watch on campus. Totally would retake it, makes you feel comfortable speaking in front other people.

Dr. Kellerman talks a lot about his travels in his classes. In other classes, they feel a bit out of place, but in his Intercultural class, they really lend to his ability to provide real examples of intercultural exchanges. He writes fun and educational assignments and seems to enjoy giving his students a true multicultural experience.

I really enjoy his commentary, he's really funny. A very blunt person, but that's what makes him likable, and even though some videos are very old, his material is all easy to learn.

Dr. Kellerman is a great professor and the course, COM1000, was definitely an easy A as long as you read the coursepack and the resources the professor provides for you. In addition, towards the end of the course, a lot of extra credit is given. Overall easy course with helpful information that is applicable to life!
