The biggest thing to take away is that the book is necessary to be read as there is a lot of material covered in a relatively short period. It would be nice if there was time for discussing differing economic theories instead of being spoon fed Keynesian policy, but I guess that is a problem with academia, not specific to Professor Luquette.

The best professor! Eco. is a hard subject but he always made it as easy as possible. He uses a lot of real life examples which made it easier to understand! He truly cares about his students & does his best to help us succeed! He provides a lot of extra credit opportunities. He needs to improve on staying on track but other than that amazing prof!

I defiantly appreciated how he was a no non-sense professor. He expects you to do the work, and if you do, no worries. The course moved at a consistent pace with no surprises. I would have liked more professor assignments to check understanding so that I would have known what HE wanted, not just the mind taps that cover things he doesn't focus on.

The professor provided interesting examples and always gets the class involved. He gives everyone several chances to bring their grades up. Though, I don’t think that he should add any extra chapters to the exams just because we are ahead. He should also post important due dates in bold, all caps, and several times on blackboard.

Very good teacher and easy class. Mr. Ed is funny and a great teacher. To get a good grade you need to read the book, show up to class and listen to lectures. Something to improve the class on is to maybe write stuff up on the projector to help out students on what is important during lectures.

Effective: The Learnsmart Quizzes Need Improvements Lectures – Many of his lectures are interesting however, they quickly get off topic. Furthermore, note taking in his class is very difficulty. He may seem strict during class, but he is willing to work with students if you visit during office hours. Only suggestion: For Mr.Ed to give other economic perspectives contrasting the Textbook's conservative slant.

Mr. Luquette was a great overall all teacher. He explained the topics we were covering clearly and gave plenty of opportunities to ask questions if needed. He has 4 tests including the final and drops the lowest one. He has a good sense of humor and try's to get the class to participate in his lectures. I would definitely take him again, great prof

Professor Luquette is incredibly funny and keeps his lectures light. If you don't feel like going to class you will miss out on easy grades at times, and other times you won't even get vital information for taking tests. However he covers mostly what's in the text so if you HAVE to skip class, doing the homework will keep you current with the class

Economics is a tremendous subject and influenced by his astonishing speeches. If you want to pass and become his student leader, sit in the front and write notes, he will ask where he left off. You'll look like a champ from U.T. Austin. Show up, listen carefully, take notes, and help others answer questions if possible. These are the keys to pass.

Professor Luquette did a really good job with teaching the course by explaining the material well and giving a good amount of examples, especially when it came to the graphs. Could improve on not speaking too fast for people to understand, but other than that was a really good professor especially on a topic as difficult as economics.

Other than that, gives good amount of examples that really helped.
