Don't take him . You're being rushed and he assigns way to much homework with not enough time to complete it. He claims to be "funny" but our grades aren't a joke

don't take this class if you work, have family, friends, a boyfriend, or a life for that matter. i REGRET taking this class so much. the professor covers everything on the board while he's writing, making it impossible to learn cause we can't even see the steps on how to solve anything. then he gives like 3-4 assignments a week of 70+ questions.

Don't take this class if you like to solve math problems your own way. You do the math problem horizontal instead of vertically and the answer is automatically wrong. The point is to get the answer not to think like him! His homeworks will be the end of you. This man definitely thinks that the students live's revolve only around him. Never again..

Very unfair and not helpful. I raised my hand for about ten minutes to ask a question and he ignored me completely. (I was sitting in the second row mind you) and online homework does not help. My class of 45 dropped to 10 by the fifth class.

I have never had an issue with math before until I took this class. It's a miracle that I was able to pass with a B but it was no thanks to the professor. He teaches too quickly and expects you to know everything already and if you don't he makes you feel like an idiot. I passed this class with A LOT of tutoring, I wouldnt recommend him to anyone.

Don't take this class. There are many wonderful math professors at Miami Dade and although Edony is very funny, he really isn't all too good. He gives many quizzes and his tests are very heavy. He is hard to reach by email and usually doesn't even respond.

Occasionally funny but tough class with many quizzes and tests. Might be better off taking another professor.

Keep in mind that mac1105 is not an easy class, however, professor doesn't make it any easier. He is sarcastic and comes off as rude when you ask questions in class; the class is test heavy (consisting of many pop quizzes and tests) and assigns a lot of online assignments. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone who actually wants to pass the class.

He is the worst math teacher i have ever had. Dont take him if you want a good grade. He makes you do a homework on a lesson he hasnt even taught and then doesnt even teach good

Has a strong Haitian accent and sometimes difficult to understand and his lectures are as difficult. Gets really annoyed when you ask him questions about the lecture. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

DONT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. He is the worse. He has a thick accent. Doesnt even know half of the things he teaches. Always messes up. He does inappropriate jokes. He wont care if you have an emergency and have to miss he will still drop you. Is terrible to talk to. And doesnt even teach correctly. I will never take this teacher ever. Worse mistake

This teacher is the worse teacher Ive ever met. He doesnt know what he teaches. Gets mad when he messes up. Doesnt even go over or tell you about test. If you miss and excuse it he will still drop you. Goes off topic and makes fun of other egnicities. I still dont know how that man got a degree to teach. DONT EVER GET HIM

Warning. Don't take this proffessor. He speeds throughout all his lessons. His jokes are funny but they are distracting especially since he skips through all the problem without explaining. He makes this class so hard and doesn't let you use other methods that are easier to solve problems on the test.

I am currently taking MAC1105 with Pricivil and I must advise you to NOT take him if you are reading this! Initially he seems funny/caring but when it comes down to it he is a very tough grader and has little mercy on his students!! Didn't take my homework because I didn't staple it. Doesn't give credit on tests when you get the answer correct.

He has no mercy for giving very time consuming assignments. Without giving proper instructions and timely feedback, he asks all assignments to be "typed" and without allowing you to solve problems use methods that are easier. The assignments that he gave were not easy to find. His grading instruction and feedback were not clear at all.

He sucks so bad I made an account to say he sucks instead of just reading people say it. Unless you have all the time in the world to do math, you're gonna walk out with a C at best.

HORRIBLE, DO NOT TAKE HIM. HE IS VERY SARCASTIC AND RUDE WHEN YOU ASK QUESTIONS. HE DOES NOT TEACH AT ALL.

His is a very funny and nice professor, but when it comes down to it he is a very tough grader and his test are even tougher.

Dont recommend at all took him for both Mat and Mac and if you struggle with math worst professor for you there are better options.

This man does not teach. The students became the professor for the semester because the way this man lectures is HORRIBLE!! He needs a different profession because he doesn't even have any idea what he is doing.

This professor does not have your best interest at heart, I dont recommend a professor that does not care for his students enough to help them out with any issues regarding his online platforms for homework and tests.

One more thing, he gives homework without telling the students so be prepared to check my math lab every day for homeworks and tests. I wish the students who take him a lot of luck.

This professor does not lecture, a lecture is basically a person explaining and going into detail with each topic, this professor does not do that, all he does is the questions and move on with no further explanation unless asked by another student. Please dont take this professor unless you plan on learning all the criteria by yourself.

Do not take this professor unless you want to fail. His grading criteria are basically impossible unless you are a super genius. The tests are worth 80% of your grade so if you're not good at taking tests you won't pass his class. Might as well not even do the homework since it doesn't even bring up your grade if you get A's on all of them.

The grading percentages are a joke. You have to teach yourself and do a solid 50+ hw assignments which are only worth 10% of your grade. There is nothing to help your grade since midterm and final are worth basically half of your grade. Do not take this class online.

Took him for statistics midterm and finals are worth 55% of your grades there is a lot of homework which only equals 10% of your grade I got a good grades on homework and quizzes and the midterm and final grade made me fail the class completely. He enters grades at the last minute too.

Personally I did not like him at all. He does not teach he just solves the problems and does not explain how to get there. Tests make up a majority of your grade so if you dont pass them you'll barely pass the class. He is also a bit rude.M y class would end at 10:50 and sometimes he would keep on teaching until almost 11.

Worst teacher I've ever had in my whole schooling experience. Doesn't know how to teach. You basically pay for a class to teach yourself. He just does the problem on the board and if you get it you get it. He told the class one day "it's not my responsibility to make sure you guys understand the lesson."

This guy doesn't care about his job at all. It's like he wants the class to fail. I understand where he is coming from though, I wouldn't care about my job either if I was only getting paid 30-40k.

I don't suggest taking this class unless you're a math wizard. He puts math questions on HW and Tests that he didn't even go over. He also thinks he is funny, which he's not. He's actually annoying IMO. Only reason I passed was because I'm good at teaching myself, which was stressful.

This guy is really bad at his job. He need to find something else to do because teaching is not it. I honestly don't know how I passed this class.

Professor is condescending and rude but then will put on an act of being inspirational and Christian and that he runs and exercises, and that you should do as he does in life. Tough Grader. Doesn't Start Class on Time. Will use his cell phone in class while students are waiting on his next lesson. When you ask for help from him, expect an attitude

This professor is not a good teacher. He doesn't explain things clearly and bombards you with unnecessary questions, refusing to continue the lesson unless you answer them. It's really hard to learn from him, especially in such a tough subject. I wouldn't recommend this class to anyone.

I had an online class with this professor and because I didn't turn in a "meet your classmates assignment" (first assignment of the course) he dropped me?? I emailed him nicely letting him know I had other classes and a demanding job and he sent a rude email back not giving me the chance to re-enter his class. TBH should've known bc of his ratings.

Mandatory 2 hour long class where he doesn't stop talking from start to finish. Requires you to look at the powerpoints he sends the night before or 2 nights before class to take notes. Makes the lesson harder to understand than it really is. Cracks mostly unfunny jokes at random times. Randomly gets loud in an obnoxious way throughout the class.
