I loved his class. All you have to do is read and be on time. He grades fairly I almost got an A. He is great,he makes this chocolate something candy that is ummmm! tell him to bring it to class. I recomend it.

Easy class if you do all the work he tells you to. You have to follow instructions and do the work EXACTLY the way he tells you to. You need to be ON TIME so if you know that you are going to be fighting traffic, don't take him.

This professor is very easy, but he is very unforgiving with the students that he doesn't like and if you talk in class he will throw you out of his class, and he will make you drop the course. In other words I don't recommend him at all.

You really cannot get an easier than this professor. Everything is said and written in black and white. FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY AND YOU WILL GET AN "A"

What an easy class. He tells you what he expects, so if you follow the directions on his hand outs,you should have no problem getting an A in his class. He has a lot of energy and is very funny.

he is a great teacher but there was this one quiz where you have to put refutations and all this stuff that is kind of a stupid quiz but its hard so be careful with that one quiz because it can mess up your grade alot... other than that he's a great teacher

He is the best teacher ever. This class is an easy A not because it's easy but because he makes sure that everybody understands the material.

Not a hard class but you really need to be careful with little details in the assigment because that can really affect your grade. There is this one test that if pretty stupid and very unusual that can be tricky and really drop your grade but I would still recommend the class. Its fun.

Fun,I guess,but gives way too much work and even if the work is easy or not he's picky about it, like he cares about small details that other teachers don't. He even gives you a paper explaining exactly how he wants a simple 1 page essay! If your paper is not exact you don't get credit.

ATTENTION!! Take this professor! It's hard at the begining because you have to write the term paper first, and if you dont then there is no way to pass the class... and he might seem a little mean.. when and if he shows up to class... but after the midterm point, he is super easy going! The best!

I loved him.. The whole class is like a stand up comedy routine. Only one term paper which is by his own format and very easy. Rest of the grades are very easy quizzes on short stories. I ended the class with over 100%.

Prof. Machado is a good teacher but he is not nice to students. He grades unfairly. The research paper is by his style and is easy. He assigns readings, does quizes and assigns wrting essay for every class meeting. He is late/absent very often. Make sure you get to class on time the first day or you will loose your first 10 point quiz.

Mr. Machado is awesome, whoever talks bad about him is because they did not follow his instructions. This guy is crazy. You will get a good grade if you do as he says... Do your research paper, read the stories, and show up for class. He says at the beginning of class to be there on time, but the truth is that he is always showing up late or he doesn't even show up at all. I recommend to take him if you are looking for a slack class.

This professor is awesome. Has one research paper which is not a big deal because he makes you turn it in by sections. After that its about reading these short stories and having easy quizzes about them. He gives plenty of extra credit. He is extremely organized which is also a plus. TAKE HIM! You will always be laughing in his class!

I cannot put it in any other words, TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. He's clear with his assignments. He's extremely funny. All you need to do is be dedicated to the class and you'll be fine. It's specific work that he gives out, but its SUPER easy.

Great professor very easy. You do not need the book all the stories are online. He is very straight forward cuts out all the crap that most professor teach he show you what you need to know and that's its. Highly recommend him.

If you dont do what you are here to do, which is study then do not take his class. Very easy class, do you homework, do the reserach paper, grid test, journals, and easy reading with quiz and you got yourself an "A". Everyone ragging on him here did not do anything right. Easy A. His assignments are idiot proof. On a more substantial level, he gives great insights that are usefull in life. You should already know grammar by now, he will never touch on the subject. Only one journal entry will be checked for it but it can cost you an F if there are enough mistakes.

this man is so easy!!!! his class is about reading short stories (which you will have 5 question quizzes on for the next class) & writing 1 pg essays on the topics he gives you. you can be a terrible writer but as long as you follow his DIRECTIONS, you get an A. he's full of knowledge and very humorous. never uses more than 20 min of the class time

I took professor Machado for ENC1102. This class seriously couldnt have been any easier. The ONLY thing challenging in this course would have to be the Research paper but even that he pretty much tells you exactly how it must be done. I dont reccomned anyone to buy the book because I found every short stories online

i was planning to drop this class for the 1st week. but luckily i ended up with a B (extremely close to an A.3 points away.)without the reading i couldve got an A already. The so-called SHORT stories are actually lengthy.Be ready to read a lot and the given questions are specific details beaware!overall: Journals,story quizzies, & research papers!!

The person under me does not know what they are talking about. This is the best ENC proff. you need the book he does give you stories to read and 5 qson quizes which are super simple. he goes step by step with the research paper in his own way so the only way to fail is to not research at all. i got an A. hes great i highly recommend

This professor is straight to the point. He doesn't waste very much time. Read for the quizzes before class, they are easy. And definitely do the research paper. Follow all his guidelines for the research paper and journal entries (he's picky with that). But he's a great teacher and you will definitely enjoy his stories and his class.

EASIEST A OF LIFE. You will not learn anything in this class. You need the book cause he assigns stories that you will have a quiz for the following class. Really, really funny guy. His class is a joke though. You won't learn much, if at all. He likes to go off topic a lot. Buy the book only for the reading quizzes. The stories are really weird and can be hard to understand at times. Take him, it's impossible to fail.

He makes you read a story for homework and quizzes you the next day in class. You write five journal entries and one research paper, no midterm or final. You won't learn much, but he lets you leave early often and you'll get an easy A.

You know.. I had this guy back in 2004. Yes, his dreaded research paper... If you just follow what he says, do what he says, you will get an A. It's not that bad. At FIU I had to do a 75 page paper, big difference from his 7 page paper! If you want to learn and you know how to follow rules, he is a breeze.

I had him ages ago and is by far one of the most memorable educators I've had.

One of the better professors I've had, made learning the dry material a lot more fun. There are quizzes every day but as long as you are there for the classes it shouldn't be too hard. He does allow extra credit and will drop the lowest quiz/test grade.
