Not very hard for me, i took this class in high school. Its all review, a lot of work though. He goes over everything. He is very clear, but his accent is a little weird. I recommend him as a teacher.

Mr. Morakas is so awsome. I hate math but he makes it very intresting, his stories are totally cheesey but are enjoyable and make the class fun. You also will not find a more helpfull teacher, he will always help you durring office hours. He is very clear and a great teacher. However he has never ate a hamburger. The Dude is awsome.

Prof Morales is, not only hilarious, but also a great teacher. I haven't taken a math course in years and he made it easy to pick up where I left off. Half the class isn't doing well, but I'm sure it is because they don't do the homework and don't ask when they don't understand it because he would gladly go over the problems. Best 160 teacher!

Morales is the best Math teacher, and the proof is that his classes are the first to fill up. the class is difficult with any teacher, but he is down to help, and is very generous. he bought the whole class food even!

He's funny, nice and very helpful. He often brings treats to the class. I wouldn't say he's a bad teacher, I think half of the class dropped because the materials were tough and since we were behind, he went a lil too fast. His tests sometimes a lil hard but he's very willing to work with students

MUST KNOW: put's you in groups every other day must finish assignment sheets, will ask you to go to the board & do a problem, gives a gateway exam that you must pass besides the regular exams.

Mr. Morales is very helpful. If you need help he's always willing to help you. You must complete the homework and class assignments. I got a "B," although I do not like math. I liked his class. I do not think anyone will fail his class, since he makes it clear and easy. Also, he's so sweet... he takes pizza and soda once, to his students.

Morales is a fantastic teacher. He makes sure you really understand, offers over 1 test worth of points in extra credit, and makes every effort to help everyone succeed. I loved his class, even though it was at 7.45am, 5 days a week.

Overall I recommend Morales as a Math teacher. Math is not easy nor interesting but Morales makes it the best of it. The only con is he does not provide a study guide to the tests. If you study and do the homework there is no way you fail the class. I barely passed the final and failed a couple of tests and still passed the class. Take morales!

Very good teacher! Prof. Morales is very nice and helpful; ask questions in class or visit him during office hours if you don't understand something. The class does take up a lot of time because you MUST do the homework problems to get a good grade. I got an "A".

He is by far the best math teacher I've ever had! No exageration, I've hated math since 7th grade, and thanks to him, I now have an interest in math. I highly recommend him. He's a great teacher. He is very enthusiastic about what he does and always cracks jokes regarding math. He always does a great job at explaining things and thoroughly answers any questions. My only gripe is that the homework/classwork was too easy and did not properly prepare you for what was on the exams.

I got an a in this class and I took it in the summer. I would say this instructor is awesome because i took him twice and i passed him twice. I could say that he is chaning his way of conducting his class to a more flexible instructor. So I'd recommend him for math 23 and 40

he is a bit of a hard grader on the tests and he does give a lot of extra credit failing or not. he makes it clear when his office hours and encourages people to come and ask questions when confused. keep up with the homework and ask questions and the class should be easy

He is a very, and I mean VERY picky grader. He is passionate about teaching and I loved his energy. Approachable and really knowledgeable guy. He will be patient enough to answer any question. This is not an easy course, so obviously if you don't prepare well enough you won't get a good grade.

Professor Morales is a great teacher, and he's hilarious. He makes his lectures interesting, but effective at the same time. Online HW is a must (not book, but code), and it also serves as practice. As long as you pay attention, do the HW, and study for tests, there's no reason not to pass. Definitely recommend him!

You must have the code to do homeworkquiz. Participation is a must. He's a great teacher just a really hard grader on the test. Keep in mind going in. You don't need the book as much. Just make sure you have the code.

Really cool teacher! Had him at 6:30 in the morning in fall semester 2014. He makes a lot of jokes and is always trying to get the class to laugh. The homework isn't so bad as long as you keep up the pace and the tests are just like the homework. TAKE HIM!

He knows the material and clearly has a passion for teaching. He is trying to set up young students to succeed in future classes and at jobs, so attendance matters, participation matters, details matter. He does joke and digress, but it's nbd unless you already have a chip on your shoulder. Math can be a dry subject, so why not keep things light?

Pay attention and take good notes, you'll be fine. Make sure you understand, if you don't, ask right away. He'll explain until you understand. It's a usual math class where you must put in the effort. He's a great teacher and is really passionate about math. He does crack jokes here and there, makes the class laugh. Amazing lectures, class can be intense, but you gotta visit him during office hours for help because the class is intense he's always willing to help. Professor Morales saved my life! Math was so difficult to undertsand before I took his course. We were up on the board solving problems and helping each other out. He is a great professor.

This math professor is honestly one of the best math professor I have ever came across. He actually tries to get you involved in the class, he is friendly and funny making it easy to ask for help. Math has always been a bit difficult for me but Prof. Morales helped me understand things better and enough to stick to me on those tests.

Very smart guy, know his stuff, but I feel his exam are difficult even if you understand the material easy to loose points even if the final answer is correct. No extra credit available to help students who struggle at testing or need a few more points to pass. Enjoy the class and his funny inputs.

Never have a I had an instructor who so critical of grading papers. Dr. Morales knows his stuff, but he has no empathy for his students when it comes to grading. His lectures are good but his tests are hard. I would not take this class again.

The homework/quizzes are posted online, as long as you do those and understand the material, the tests won't be too bad. Don't be like me and forget to check for the homework and quizzes! He attempts to help students remember certain concepts by making analogies which are sometimes funny. He likes to tell personal stories which are funny as well

Professor Morales is great and has a weird good sense of humor. His lectures are easy to follow he gives you the notes worksheet. The people that wrote bad comments probably got a bad grade. The exams are easy if you study no trick question and n more than 20 problems per test and he gives partial points. I will take him again best Math professor.

It was my second time taking math 180. He does give a lot of homework but it does count for points. Its not an easy class but its possible to pass if you do the work, & study. His tests arent the easiest BUT they are fair and passable. Hes very nice (& funny). Go to his office hours. Hes always willing to help.

I took him before COVID-19 which progressed to online class setting so I got to know him in person first. Hes a very happy and jolly Professor. I didnt like him at first because he would put us in groups and answer some kind of activity. But he explains well, and although he does make mistake at times, I think hes a great teacher.

Professor Morales is an amazing teacher. Theres a lot of homework involved but its online and the website helps a lot if you dont understand. He really helps if anything is unclear. I took math 80 multiple times and this is the class I passed due to his commitment. Hes a bit of a tough grader but hes hilarious!

Took Morales for math 80 and I loved his way of teaching. Took him for 150 through covid wasnt the best experience. He is a tough grader but his lectures are very straight forward. Long test and very stressing but overall hes a great professor.

Lectures are mediocre. Will reply to emails in a relatively prompt manner. Need to use the methods taught instead of previously learned methods. Homework due at the end of each week and is usually about 2-3 hours worth of work.

Math 191 is a difficult subject, but he makes it not only easy but enjoyable. By far my favorite professor at El co he's full of funny stories and actually cares about his students lives. If you put in effort and ask for help you will get an A for sure.

Took Mr. Morales for stat. He was very caringand inspirational. Truly cared about the students passing his course. Although the class was in person, he allowed exams to be taken online which was a major plus. No extra credit given due to how easy it was to receive 100% on homework. I highly recommend taking Mr. Morales

A ton of homework through Pearson MyLab. It's not difficult, but you need ample time to do his class. The grading rubric is very clear and he is responsive to emails.

Prof Morales was a great instructor! I enjoyed watching his rich lecture videos and his attentiveness to reminding students of deadlines. I appreciated his EC opportunities as well. I wished I wouldve figured this out sooner but taking advantage of the multi. attempts per quiz/exam/hw over a course of days will benefit your grade in the long run.

Overall, I enjoyed taking math 191 with Professor Morales. He is very nice and patient so I strongly suggest attending office hours. He is very supportive and wants you to succeed. Calc 2 is a class that you need to put effort in regardless of the professor so make sure you reach out. His exam questions are fair so just make sure to study ahead.

Took Math150, Stats class with Dr. Morales for spring 24'. i recommend taking this class 100%. Anytime i had questions, i would email him and he would reply on a timely manner. He was very detailed on the work that needed to be done. Quiz and test is reviewed for no surprises! If you put in the time and effort, you will easily pass with an A.

Professor Morales is a great professor. His lectures are awesome and constantly keep me engaged. His tests are intermediate and require a lot of studying. If you are taking this course, make sure to study the lecture notes and do all homework and extra practice problems. Overall, I'd 100% recommend this course to any incoming students.

he's a very good lecturer, only gives 6-7 problems per test, gives lots of extra credit opportunities, he uses Webassign for homework/textbook, he's a very strict grader when it comes to the tests but an amazing professor nonetheless, definitely would recommend and definitely would take him again for future math classes if given the opportunity.

Professor Morales has a unique teaching style, but if you engage with it, the class can be manageable. Definitely utilize all available resources, like the textbook, office hours, and study tools like Unstuckstudy, to stay on top of the material. The exams are challenging, so consistent effort is key.

took 191 fall 2024 he rarely skips steps when going through solutions so it's easy to follow not fully lecture, students also do problems together on whiteboard for homework its webassign ($130 for the sem) and its a bit lengthy but worth doing to do well on tests extra credit opportunities 4.5/5 prof

I took this class over the Summer online and it was a great course! He provides lots of materials like study guides with easy-to-follow lectures. There is assigned homework but it helps to prepare you for the tests which were fairly written. I recommend his course if you're ready to put in avg. effort! He responds to emails and is very caring.

Great lectures. More hands-on. Will put problems on the whiteboard to work on with classmates. Room gets really hot, but you learn a lot from each other—very welcoming environment. 10/10 lectures that are really engaging. Hw is much harder than the exams, and the final is harder than the exams, but not too crazy. Lots of EC as well. Great prof
