Munoz is great besides being a Hottie. He mind is sexier than he is! He loves he students and geniunely cares for them. His honors classes are awesome and you never fall asleep in his class because he keeps it interesting!

Professor Munoz has been one of the type of teacher that changes your perceptive of life. I know I'm definitly guilty of that. I loved he's class. Not only was he intersting and helpfull, he's way has made me a better writer. You cant go wrong with Munoz, he's the best!

When I had this Prof. he was intersting and down to earth. Till this day I still think he's the hottest Prof. with a very deep sexy voice. (That's all I could consentrate on during class)

This professor is really hard for English 065 but i learn a lot in his class.

English is not my strongest subject and I was very leary about taking the class. As I have endured the challenges with each class session, I feel a little more confident in my English skills. Instructor Munoz gives the best that he has to give to see that all his students make it to the next level.

I got to admit that I feared the first day of class. Immediately I knew that his class would be a challenge, but now I am glad to have stayed around. I learned so much in his class in such a short time. This Professor tries to do so much for his students to succeed in his class, but to successed in English. Highly recommended him as a Professor.

Absolutely love, love, loved this class! Very easy! Yes sometimes I got an essay back with a D but the rewrites always helped me easily bounce back. He gave us a few quizzes, the midterm and the final & honestly I never studied for one and still got an A in the class. The class was also good b/c we talked about real life issues! Very helpfull teacher he can help you reach a higher level of writing and he's always willing to talk to you if you have any questions. He is a hard grader but he allows you to re-write your essays and he writes suggestions on how to improve your essay if you follow his suggestions you will see a huge difference in your paper.

I had Mr. Munoz for 3 english courses at Elac. He is very strict-but you will learn in his class. He is the best professor I've ever had!! I highly recomend him. Because of the courses I took with him I now am a better writer. He is a hard grader, but that is because he really wants you to learn.

Best English instructor at ELAC. That does not mean EASY! On the contrary he is very challenging. I was dropped from ENG103 for not turning in a paper; my fault! I did not read my syllabus. Id take him again if I could. He truly has your best interest at heart; especially if you are transfering to University. Easy english prof will only hurt you.

One of my favorite teachers and I considered him as one of the best instrutors at ELAC. However, remember to turn in your essays when they are due,or he'll drop you. I learned a lot in his class. I think everyone will become a better writer when he/she survives in his class.

Mr. Munoz is a VERY hekpful teacher. He wants to prepare us for the university. That does not mean that he will give you easy assignments. On the contrary, he is VERY challenging. But all the hard work is worth it in the longrun because you'll feel like you actually learned the material. Higly recommended if you're not affraid of a challenge.

As expected of an online course, it was CONSTANT writing. Every week, writing writing writing. On the plus side, he was lenient with his grades and gives you the opportunity to rewrite each of the 3 required essays.

By far one of the best teachers I've ever had. ELAC needs more professors like him! His directions are very clear, so if you follow his instructions, you'll get good grades on the essays; but, he does allow rewrites. Makes himself available to his students. Prof. Muñoz was incredibly helpful. After arriving from HS with little preparation his course gave me the tools I needed improve key areas (style, grammar etc). This professor really pushed me to my limits with the Research Paper, where I researched a topic on Asian American college discrimination in the U.S. I think the professor taught me a lot of things I've already known previously, put he really pushed my capabilities and limits to write fluidly. I took his wed class, I enjoyed being in his class, the lectures and reading assignments are interesting . His lectures modules are great. When I have a question , I would email him and he response that same day, not unless its the week end , then I would receive an answers on the next school day.

Takes long time to get work graded back but does provide feedback. Have to participate in Discussions weekly. Gives you grace period of 2 days after due date to turn in assignments. Don't take this class if you work full time. He is a great professor but homework is excessive, however working hard gives good results. This class would teach you good English writing in just 1 semester. After all, he is a great professor, only little detail, too much homework.

I took him for English 128 and he literally is the only teacher in the English department that can truly make you a better writer. His lessons are gold valuable and I always referred back to them when I took 101,102,103, and 127. You will not regret taking his class unless you don't care about improving your writing skills.

If you want to truly learn, take Professor Munoz! Attendance is a mandatory; missing a day will be hell for the next. If you are having difficulty writing, I highly suggest you to take Professor Munoz!

He is easy to access even online and you can contest your grade with him if you feel he missed something. He leads you by the hand in the paper writing process until the final. He honestly isn't asking a lot and is passionate about English. An easy A if you do all the work and pay attention to the criteria.

I need a teacher who can work with me.. He is to advanced. Although he is a great motivator and encouraging. Its too much for me to deal. Maybe because im taking 9 other units but its hard for me.

Hands-down an awesome professor. Guides you through the essays and assignments. Lectures are easy to understand with a perfect touch of humor. Absolutely recommend. For someone who is not good at English, I was pleasantly surprised at how much success I found in his class.

Yes, my grade was a C ... not a perfect score BUT ! Im surprised I didnt fail. To have done bad in 3 essays and the final and still at least pass the class?that means he cared for me. This professor makes you feel like your legitimately in college holds you to a higher standard because he believes in your abilities. Assigns a lot of homework lots of papers to do but his lectures outline everything, you basically fill in the blanks then your training wheels come off for the exams. Great introduction for me back into college.

Taken English 101 with this professor was an amazing experience for me. The class was tough at the beginning, once I got to understand what I was supposed to do about it, it just flew. This professor really push me up to the next level which is writing at any top university level.

Tough class, but Mr. Munoz is very understanding and caring. Although readings and lectures can be tedious, the one thing he will give credit on is your effort to do the assignments. Just do the best you can as possible and you'll be fine.

I took his summer course and it was difficult at first but he does offer a lot of feedback. If you're eager to learn and challenge yourself, you'll find the class to be super rewarding.

I learn how to write because of this professor. You will work hard for your grade, but it is worth it. He wants you to learn and you will learn. He takes you back to learning how to properly write a title. He is a great professor and makes sure you leave his class learning something new. I enjoyed his class and i would take him again.

This is my second time taking his class, and I cannot stress enough that if you care to expand your understanding of English writing then you should definitely take his class. He really cares about what he teaches and offers a lot of opportunity for students to raise their grade. He gives a lot of great feed back and his grading is clear as day.

He gives you what you need to succeed and is very clear on what you need to turn it for points. Don't miss a class or else you'll be confused on what you missed out. He makes everyone take notes and those notes have the answers for all the work he wants you to complete.

Amazing Professor! Weekly discussions, weekly quizzes, easy and interesting lectures. Need to follow instructions and you will be good. Allows couple days to submit assignments. Professor Munoz was great, I learned to write better and learned to analyzed arguments better. I enjoyed his calls. Online only, no live meetings.

Enjoyed Professor Munoz's class but it was heavy. Get ready to read and write a lot of 1,500 worded papers. Although it is a lot he does offer many extra credit opportunities which is a great plus.

I took this during summer. There are weekly discussion posts and 5 essays total, two timed, but his outlines help major. Quizzes are super easy if you read the material. He expects formal writing skills, like a pro. The thing is he does not really give feedback so you would need to visit office hours for that. He offers EC too, highly recommend!

took his class during summer, discussion every week , quiz as well , we had about 3 essays plus a midterm(essay) , final (essay) and a research paper . it was a lot of work for a 5 week class but definitely a great challenge.

I took Professor Munoz during the spring and by far this class has been one of my favorite. I learned so much, there is a lot of note taking but the lectures were never boring and very informative. There is a lot of reading, but all the readings were all interesting. I would definitely take this class again.

I took his online English 102 class for Fall Semester and it was not hard at all. Just make sure to be prepared for a lot of reading from the textbook and writing. He gives out short easy quizzes to check for comprehension. Discussions every week related to readings. They are five 1,500 words essays. Overall, good & lenient professor.

Took him for Fall. He is a great teacher and very communicative. I will definitely take him again. There is only 400 word discussion posts, quizzes and annotations for every assigned reading, and 5 essays total (1,500 words). It is a bit stressful at times with the readings but you might get the hang of it. Gives out up to 3-4 readings.

There were a lot of mini-assignments that ended up being really helpful for the papers we wrote; the modules were resourceful and great to refer back to. I took 8-week session, so it was fast and a bit overwhelming, but I got good feedback on all my papers, and most of it was pretty interesting. There were a lot of mix-ups in due and start dates.

I took his online class on fall 2024 and this professor cares about students although it can be a little confusing sometimes just do your best and you will pass, do not miss assignments He usually gives you a time frame from Monday-Thursday to take the class.Get prepare to read A LOT but you do not need to remember everything. I will take him again

Are you looking for an English 101 class that will actually help you succeed? If so, you need to take it with Professor Muñoz. Hands down, he is one of the best professors you'll ever have. If you fail this class, it's honestly because you didn't put in the work. He genuinely wants his students to pass and does everything to set you up for success.

Professor Munoz is amazing, he teaches you unlike the other professors who get mad when you ask them questions. Don't procrastinate there is something due almost everyday, it's a lot of work so plan accordingly.

This is my first English class in college, and omg Professor Munoz is the best! This is honestly an easy A Just don't procrastinate and do your work, and you will be fine. There is literally no reason to fail this class because he literally helps you and gives you a lot of time. All he wants you to do is to succeed.

Best Professor at ELAC. There's no pressure at all and the assignment is very light. Highly recommended
