This is a good professor, but don't expect cakewalk. He would seem supereasy at first, but he would later turn out hard. You also have to pay close attention to the news reports because you would be asked to discuss political news events. Assignments are weighted as follows Quiz 10%, Part 10%, TP 20%, Mid Term 30%, Final 30%. Just letting you know.

Prof. Munoz is an excellent lecturer; very articulate and relevant content. The best way to succeed in his class is by doing all the reading and attending class for his lectures which makes the textbook come to life.

Mr.Munoz's class is literally by the book; you read the chapters word-for-word and you'll do well. Make sure you study a lot and PARTICIPATE in class at least once everyday. This guy is not a difficult teacher. Just attend every class, participate, read the book, and you'll be fine.

Honors summer course definitely kept me busy. 2 texts which are crucial; lectures also help everything to sink in. 4 mini-papers, 1 midterm & 1 final (60% of grade), and 3 quizes (1 is dropped). The class is ok, a lil boring. You have to study to get a certain grade. Many ppl dropped b/c of the first quizz (I got a D in the first quiz)but during last weeks, he is easier. This is a pretty easy class just do the readings and get ready for the tests. He will give you a review sheet that contains exactly what you need to study. You might want to go to class since he will give you points for participation and attendance plus the quizzes are exactly on what he talks on class so take good notes.

he tells you everything on the test and you must study. i didn't do any of the readings and just crammed the day before the test and got a B so it's pretty easy to pass. He is also very helpful if you have any questions although he may not seem like it.

This Professor is extremely kind, any time I had a question he responded to my e-mails within 24 hrs. I'm taking his online Political Science 10 class right now and today I'm dropping it because it is extremely difficult. A quiz once a week, chapters are really long I took 10 pages of notes per chapter and I'm still failing every quiz.

Took his online class. Fairly easy, LOTS of reading. 1 quiz a week. Aside from quizzes, midterms and finals there is an essay and a journal entry due. If you plan on taking this, remember to do the journal every month or so, rather than doing it all in the week before it's due.

Professor Munoz's lectures are quite lackluster. Every class is just him talking and answering his own questions. That being said, he is quite funny. I personally enjoyed this class. I took it over the spring 2012 semester online.I thought the class was a lot of work, but it was very manageable. I got an A in his class. Overall an amazing professor! He spends about 80%-85% of each class giving lecture. However, his lectures are not boring. The lectures elaborate on the assigned readings. He knows his stuff! Test are fair, but they are very long. You will need every minute you get to complete his quiz/test. Long story short, I would recommend his class.

I took POLI 1 with him over the winter term. It's constant work, but if you study a lot and do what he asks of you, you'll do well. He is very clear about what he expects from you. Just don't procrastinate on ANYTHING! There are a lot of tests and papers due throughout the semester, but they don't require a ton of work.

Taking a online class with him you will have tests every week, quizzes, a paper during the semester and a journal project. I do not understand how people think it is difficult to get a passing grade because it really is not hard and you only have to keep up with the test and quizzes every week and do the paper and journal project.

Prof. Munoz is old-school, because he teaches by solely getting up in front of the class and explaining the material to you. So, you'll miss a lot of info if you don't show up. A little bit impatient, but does answer your questions well. You are entirely responsible for your grade, and he is clear in what he expects from you. No frills.

Professor Munoz is really great at responding to emails and is open to all questions. Even in an online course, he responds accordingly. His class is very straight-forward and the work is not too difficult. There is a quiz every week and the work is fairly simple as long as you read the textbook.

He is the best Political Science professor I have ever had and this was my second Political Science that I took with him and the first time I took him was Political Science One on campus and then Political Science Ten online but if you are going for a Political Science degree you should definitely take his class and he is clear in what he expect.

His syllabus is very clear, he has you read a chapter weekly that is broken down into 5-8 sections per chapter, each section has a test you are expected to complete plus an exam after each chapter. He's a bit blunt and direct but still gives good feedback and detailed answers to Qs. He lectures you on everything you need to know, you just need to listen and take notes as fast as you can during lectures. He basically gave me the answers to the short answer questions on the final exam if you just listen and record all the examples he gives.

A very dense class with a lot of writing and material to go over, but can be expected only over a 6-week period. Although being a lot, the material is relatively straightforward, so it is important to stay on top of your work and not fall behind in order to succeed. Mr. Munoz is very formal and blunt, although is still very accessible and helpful.

Go to SI meetings! super helpful if the lecture was a little confusing for you, he is very lecture heavy and the exams will reflect if you were listening or not or even read the textbook, so pay attention and go to SI meetings when you can! Class is not too difficult. You just have to read textbook, watch his lectures and do weekly quizzes. (Can feel slow at times..) Quizzes and exams are a breeze as long as you have done your reading. Does not grade tough either, gives extra credit opportunity as well. Just an overall great professor. Would take his other classes as well!

Probably one of the best college professors I've ever had in my entire life, it felt like I wasn't taking a class at all with the way we were skimming thru the course the entire semester (in a good way).

I took online and honestly yes you do have assignments and papers to do but again it is an Honors course. He is a fair grader and your effort in the class will reflect that. He gives extra credit opportunities as well due at the end of the semester. Textbook is relevant to current events and enjoyable to read and he lets you express your opinions!!

He's willing to work with students with varying circumstances and is very understanding. His lectures are very straightforward. Whatever he teaches will be on the exams/quizzes, no hidden topics or concepts. The textbook is about $45 but save your money and just attend every class and take good notes! He drops the lowest test grade and offers EC!

Youll only have 3 quizzes, lowest grade gets removed, and midterm/final. Don't be afraid to ask questions, he is super helpful/nice. Take notes! His lectures carry lots of important info. Grading isnt harsh. Offers extra credit at the end. Gives you take home essays for final/midterm. If you put in effort and show up you will pass hes not difficult

Professor can be a bit intense, but the class is manageable if you stay on top of the reading and utilize resources like the textbook and study sessions. Unstuckstudy was a lifesaver for test prep.

Lecture heavy, each class is a guaranteed lecture. Recommend you take notes each lecture because you're going to need that information for the quizzes and assignments. His voice is kind of monotone and a LITTLE slow...kind of makes you sleepy. BUT TRUST, you're going to need that lecture so make sure you're WOKE. He's funny sometimes which is cool.

Overall very straightforward class. Content is not difficult but the writing assignments (including discussion posts) are graded toughly. He always gives feedback when you lose points and tells you exactly why, though. You will be writing several long essays and a research paper, but you have a lot of time if you do not procrastinate.
