Dr. Brecker is an excellent teacher. He knows his material very well and has a fun, laid back personlaity. I will take as many classes with him as possible. He has made the lectures fun and informative at the same time. I highly recomend him!!!

Makes learning difficult material fun and easy. He is very fair when it comes to the tests. The semester, he got sick and had to leave at the end. The class suffered tremendously in his absense due to a difficult substitute.

A&P 1- he is a great professor. Pay attention and study you will do fine! He is willing to help you, as long as you speak up. I would take him again if Healthcare was my major, he's very smart! And yeah, he goes off subject alot but his stories are interesting and funny, lol!

I would recommend taking professor Brecker. He knows his stuff and is very clear on what you have to know for the tests. You def have to show up to class and pay attention. I got a B in the class, but I also spent countless hours going over the models and studying in the library. The hard work pays off in the end. TAKE BRECKER! No questions asked..

Not only does he teach and give you ways to better remember the vast information, but he has a great personality. He's extremly helpful and keeps the class entertained. Hes a good professor but you definately have to study his handouts. If you dont study you will fail. He drops your lowest grade but he doesnt give any extra credit. I got an A in his class and i will try 2 take him for A & P and biology 2

hes a cool teacher, he tells some stories that are funny as hell! if you fail his class its because your lazy and you were looking for easy street. after his labs your allowed to stay and review the bones and stuff as long as you need, most people run out the door and then wonder why they can pass a test!

Really great teacher. He is very detailed and clear in his explanations. If you memorize his notes, you will ace the tests. His lectures are very interesting , makes connections to real-world problems and healthcare that really make the class worth it. The "trick" questions are easy, and why shouldn't a teacher challenge his students?

TOOK DR BRECKER FOR THE LAB.ITS NOT AN EASY CLASS BUT HE USES EXAMPLES THAT MAKE IT BETTER. HIS TESTS ARE WHAT HE TEACHES, N SOMETIMES HE TELLS THESE STORIES THAT ARE FUNNY AS HELL! AFTER CLASS U CAN STAY N REVIEW BUT MOST PEOPLE RUN OUT AND THEN CRY THAT THE CLASS IS TOO HARD.

I had him for Bio lecture and Anatomy1 and LAB and now have him Anatomy 2 lecture, and this teacher is AWESOME. His notes are GREAT and I will keep them until I get to Med school. Take him! By the way I got an A in everything, just a litte effort is required besides you have to put some efforts in studying if you want to succeed in the health field

I agree on some previous comments that his class isn't exactly easy, but the information is very upfront. He gives you the notes and lectures straight from them. You don't use the book at all, and if you show up and study A LOT you'll do fine. The test aren't exactly easy but honestly, if you study the notes you can't go wrong.

To keep it simple his class is straight to the point. He only gives you important information that you need to know in general and for the test.The people who said his class was tricky obviously didn't stick around long enough. He is very helpful and makes class interesting and easy to understand.

I dont get what all the fuss is about, he's not the easiest but I think he is ok, took lab and lecture and many of us passed with A's, some B's. The people who didnt pass didnt study at all there is just no way you studied and failed. Anyway will take him for A&P 2 Fall should be less stressful(6wk classes tough). Will never do that again.

he does get off topic and his test are reallllllllllllly tricky but he does give u the notes he just expects you to know the notes inside and out and the test questions he uses makes u doubt yourself a lot

Course was hard but he made it very easy. He explains the materials, you really have to study and his tests are what he talks about in class and gives extra credits on exams. very helpfull..Trust me everyone i had an A.

He is a very good teacher passes out notes at the beginning of class,so dont be late!He's a patient guy and if you dont understand something speak up because he moves quickly or will get off topic.His tests come from the notes he gives, for the most part and the rest is from things he repeats in class so dont rely soley on those handouts,TAKE NOTES

He gives you his exact notes which can be tricky information. Study alot and make sure you complely understand them because the test questions are exactly on the material. I thought he was funny and i enjoyed his class.

I really don't understand all the negative comments. After reading them I was really concerned, which led me to prepare mentally. Prof. Brecker breaks it down to a manageable level. Like in any class where you expect to learn you must study and understand the subject matter. I have an "A" thus far. HOW? by studying. And yes I have a life.

I enjoyed this class very much. Yes it was easy b/c i studied the notes and he breakes everything down to where it is understandable. Great teacher. I wish i could take him for bsc2086, but all his classes were full. Don't beleive what other students say cuz he teaches good and knows his stuff...

This is the absolute best professor I have ever had at this college. I have taken over 20 classes. I drive over 1 hour to go to Lake Worth and he is worth it! Anyone who complains about him should not go into any medical field! This is a weed out course. He is very clear and has a great sense of humor. Going to take him again!

Dr Brecker is a good teacher. His tests are hard, but he gives you the material. You have to do a lot os studying otherwise don't even bother to take his class. Ho does answer questions. STUDY! STUDY! STUDY!

Another kick as semester, with hard work and studying I passed A&P 2 Lab with an A. Lecture is still to be determined havent taken final yet but if I STUDY I will get another A. People posting that he sucks, simply did not study I knew some of them and know how they expect to make it with no preparation. Yes you actually work for ur grades, CRAZY!!

Sounds like his ex wife is probably vengeful and writing all of these nasty comments herself! I found dr. brecker to be one of the best instructors ever! He was not only very knowledgable but very good at teaching a very tough subject. I have over 3 years of college and he is among the best I've had! Many students just don't want to study very hard

He is the best professor I've had at PBCC/PBSC. He is extremely knowledgable and cares about the student. Tells exactly what's on the test and answers all questions throughly. You must study to pass but you will learn alot! I got A's in both classes with him. He talks about his pet peeves alot but if you follow his sugjestions you do better.

AWESOME teacher. Never stayed for an entire lab session. once you were done you could leave. 2 practicals and 2 easy quizes. I cant speak for his lecture class. but would take him for any lab. hes a good guy. just act your age!

BEST professor EVER! Gives handouts for notes. Tests RIGHT from handouts. Must critically think AND study hard. VERY helpful, funny but SERIOUS about learning. Study hard - KNOW the material and there is no reason you cannot pull an "A". Bad reviews are from lazy students that did not study and could not "Think". By far, best professor I have had!

My BFF and I both found that his tests were hard enough to where you would truly have to study and understand the material in order to pass. My biggest problem with this prof was unfair grading. He is known to that C to B- curve, but not B to A curve. If you plan on working your butt off for a good grade, take someone FAIR!

I am a returning student who holds a bachelors degree and this has been one of my favorite classes! The tests were EXACTLY based of his notes that HE PROVIDES YOU. Years ago, we had to write our own notes when the professor was lecturing. They wouldn't type, outline & give them to you. Stop complaining- all you have to do is study & understand it.

Excellent teacher for lecture. (Didn't have him for lab). Don't study the book too much, he e-mails you notes which are WAY better, and easier to understand. I'll be taking him for Anatomy 2 as well. Great sense of humor as well!

In my opinion Professor Brecker is one of the Top Professors in all of PBSC, the guy is so passionate about teaching. Students who are not willing to spend a little bit more time tu studying says that his diifficult but I disagree. Even I had to repeat his class, to me he is still one of the best professors.

Dr. Brecker makes a very difficult, time-consuming class much easier. Great lectures, easy to understand, and very fair in grading. Drops lowest exam out of five (except for final, final stays). Taking him again for A&P 2.

The course is not easy. He emails you notes which he would go over in class. STUDY HIS NOTES HARD to pass the tests. Getting an A is not impossible but you have to study hard. He tells funny stories.

I knew just from reading the syllubus, Dr. Brecker meant business. He is one of the best professors I have ever had. Very helpful. Will repeat things several times if you speak up and say you don't understand. Inserts his own personal stories to help students understand the material. He is quite animated during lecture, it's definitely not boring!

took his lab,great prof., but he means business. he can be arrogant, but hes hilarious. doesnt tolerate immaturity. Out of 28 students, the semester ended with only 4 and Im the only one that passed with a B. Everyone else struggled for a C.I was literally 2 points from an overall A and he didnt give it to me.

Prof. Brecker is the best. He knows what he's talking about, funny (at times), and makes it easy. He basically tells you what's going to be on the quizzes and praticals so if you get anything below a B, it's your own fault. Study and you'll be fine. I got an A. :)))

Dr. Brecker is very knowledgeable and He cares about his students. He is not easy and don't expect to get an A in his class if you are not willing to put time into deciphering and studying the material. I am a better Physician Assistant student because he was my professor. I highly recommend Dr. Brecker.

I took his express course over the summer and got an A in this class and on every quiz and test. He did talk too much about nonsense and goes off topic, but he tells you everything that is on the test you just have to pay attention. If you get lower than a B, it's your own fault. Tape record if you need to, he allows it.

He sends you the notes to his lectures ahead of time. What is on the notes is EXACTLY what is on his tests. If you don't have to time nor a good memory I wouldn't suggest taking him. He drops your lowest test score. Overall, his class is easy plus he can be funny. It felt like a high school course.

You will never find an "easy" A & P lab professor, it is a hard class that requires your time. That said, Dr. Brecker is a great teacher. He does leave students to learn on their own a lot after his lecture, but he has no problem answering any questions a student may have. He does expect a lot out of his students. He is quite personable as well.

Dr. Brecker has been one of my favorite professors the last two semesters. Took him for AP1 and AP2. He challenges you and makes you think but you are a better student for it. Anyone that gives him a bad review did not try very hard. With minimal studying and paying attention in class I got As both semesters. Great teacher if you want to learn.

Good teacher overall, but doesn't go out of his way to make it easier on you. Tells you to know basically everything in the book when you only need 50 things to know for final or midterm. Good if you're going into med field, it really prepares you. Overall good but need to put in a LOT of study time. I got 98% on midterm & final but put in work.

Brecker is amazing, helpful, and honestly cares about his students. The first 4 tests he gives he drops the lowest score and final exam is calculated into your grade. He teaches right from his notes, which is the exact information that is on his tests, does a review and gives sample test questions similar to what will be on the test. Taking again!

Brecker was very clear from beginning. You are going to have to pay attention in his class and STUDY STUDY STUDY! I studied like 1-2 days prior to exam and still passed. he does take attendance.

What I loved about professor brecker was he got straight to the point. He tells you exactly what to expect on the midterm and finals, and he lets you out early if there is nothing else to teach. He teaches a little fast so pay attention, study and everything will be alright.

I enjoyed this class, I've learned a lot. Of course there will be a lot of studying but its A&P what do you expect? He is a great teacher and really prepares you for the medical field. He gives out handouts and extra credit, which can help a lot. He doesn't make you study as much as all the other lab teachers do, only things you need to know.

Professor Brecker really knows his stuff. I really love his teaching method. You print his notes, so you can actually pay attention to his lecture instead of writing the whole time. (all teachers should do this!) He consistently reminds you what it takes to be successful. He is an endless pit of knowledge when it comes to AP.

Breck-master-flex will not baby you and his class is not easy, however if you are willing to do the work he is an excellent teacher.

Cracks a couple of jokes and anecdotal stories that tie in with the reading. but other then that its serious talk. test are difficult (Mostly the final). a bit tricky but i would agree with brecker on the fact that everything is completely in the notes. don't only memorize, understand.

One of the BEST professors I have ever had! He is tough BUT if you study and put the time in when you're done you know your stuff! Wish he taught more of the classes I need to take. If you want to know your material and NOT fall asleep in class Brecker is the professor to take. Nothing but good to say about this professor :)

He is amazing, i took him for both a&p 1 and 2 lecture. Both times he was extremely helpful. You have to STUDY!!! thats is part of being in the medical field! He gives 5 tests and drops lowest out of 4. That is it no homework. But again you have to study at least and hr and a half 4 times a week! HE ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT YOU!!!

He is a good professor. He lectures during class on his notes, and if you take the time to study them (on his faculty page) you will do PERFECTLY on his exams! I've never missed more than two questions out of 70 or more so far! People make it harder than what it is. It's Anatomy. You need to study. He doesn't try to trick you. He's awesome.

DO NOT BUY A TEXTBOOK! Print out his lecture notes! EVERYTHING on his tests comes DIRECTLY from his lecture notes! Go to class!! READ READ READ his notes & you will pass!! His class WILL BE hard if you don't print out, read & bring your lecture notes to class!! If YOU ARE LAZY & DON'T WANT TO READ HIS NOTES YOU WILL NOT PASS!!

He is a great professor. All of the tests were based off of his notes. If you don't print the notes, you won't pass. He doesn't use the book at all, so don't but it if you take this professor. He only gives extra credit for going to si sessions. Make sure you go to class. If you don't understand the notes, he clears up the confusion in lecture.

Alright listen up. He is not that difficult, he has all the notes online and literally gives tests of off notes that you have access to so really how could you fail?? you just have to study and you're good to go. He drops one test out of 4 (not including final). He can get annoying sometimes but otherwise hes pretty chill.

Don't buy the text book. The tests are literally taken straight off of his notes. EVERY. SINGLE. QUESTION. No comprehensive questions. If you fail the class, you didn't study his notes. Point blank. I've taken him for both AP1 and AP2 lecture and haven't had a problem. It's ANATOMY. It's not going to be a walk in the park. That's the point.

Dr. Brecker is the best professor you can get for Anatomy 1 and 2 lecture. He is so funny and goes out of his way to explain the processes. His notes are all online and his tests are based off of them. If you aren't willing to learn, don't take him, but he is preparing you for the HESI and you will leave this course understanding the material.

Great Professor you will learn a lot. You must study to do well on the tests. Questions can be a little challenging but as long as you study you will be fine. I took him for lecture and lab. Lab was easier for me than lecture just because its hands on and he gives exact whats on each quiz or midterm/final.

Brecker is tough. The good thing about his class is that he gives us his own notes, and his tests are all on his notes. So technically, you have to read and study them because they will all be on there. His lectures are ok; he reads off the notes and follows a PowerPoint. He always tries to make the class laugh.

He is a great professor does make u work for that A he really does help not like the most professor who just says " yeah just read every single word from the textbook" no this professor will go to each page and say highlight this. This will be on the exam :0 wat professor does that .someone who is willing to help you get that A :)

Dr. Brecker gives no homework what so ever. You show up to class take notes and review at home. There are 5 test. The lowest be will dropped and the final you must take which also will not be dropped. Everything in his notes is fair game on the test so there are no surprises. Study and know the notes inside and out and you should be fine.
