If you love writing, then this is the class for you. Mr.Duggan's class is easy, it's just ALOT of work. There are no test except for quizzes plus he gives you the questions before hand. He's awkward at first, but after awhile you get use to it. Easy A, just be prepared to work
This class was great. He gives quizzes that he prepares you for very well. the term paper is not one big thing due at the end, it is a process which I loved because it made me get an A on the final term paper. His final is two hours of nothing but speed writing to try and answer all the questions but he is a great funny teacher. A bit odd at first.
Go to his office if there is ever any questions. He is so helpful and I actually wish I could take another class of his!
I can definitely tell you now that he is quite intimidating and his assignments are confusing. He has a lot of personal opinions he likes to incorporate in his lectures so you don''t know if the notes you''re taking is from the textbook or if it''s his personal opinion. I honestly struggled through this semester trying to keep up.
If I could take this class over I would! One of the few professors that really made my learning experience worthwhile! He doesn't give out too many tests and you will barely have homework. Just 2 papers and 2 power points. He gives extra credit for attendance (especially on Fridays). Make sure to take notes! You will learn a lot from this man!
Prepare to write novels my fingers were almost bleeding at the end of the written final exam. All of the assignments were basically papers leading up to the final paper and I think we had one or two quizzes that weren't a written assignment. I would say he should have taught English but he's so into politics and history it's actually entertaining.
Terrific teacher he knows the material and wants you to know it too. There are a couple in class assignments so attendance is a must. Midterm and final consist of writing he doesn't do multiple choice test. The assignments, midterm and final are based on his lectures so if you got to class and pay attention you have nothing to worry about.
Loved this class! Very easy and understandable. Very clear on instruction and doesn't ask for anything over the top. If you read and take notes during the lectures ( all powerpoints) you will receive an easy A. I didn't read as much and still received a high B in the class. Gives you study guides that look identical to the midterm and the final!
This is a good class specially for anyone interested in politics. His class will teach you about how the world works and how politics affects it. His two big assignments are essays and his tests are all short(long) answer and essays so you will be writing about what you know. I thoroughly disagree with anyone saying he puts his own opinion.
He really seems to talk about the Smiths too much for a Political Science class, and has a Morrissey metaphor for everything. Otherwise, great class!
Gives extra credit EVERY Friday, sometimes even on Monday and Wednesday, everything in notes is in book, just 2 tests, midterm and final, but they are all essay writing and he is detail oriented so you get about an hour and 15 mins to write three essay's each test, other than that he was a good professor.
he's an awesome teacher. there's really nothing more to say. he'll keep you engaged in the class and make you laugh every time. definitely take him.
An excellent professor. He is engaged and loves his subject. If you do the work, get involved, and study like you're supposed to, you WILL pass. TBH if you fail, it's because you didn't put forth the effort. He's one of my all time favorite professors in any subject at TCC.
Professor Duggan is very passionate about the subjects he teaches, which makes learning from him that much more enjoyable. I took his INR2002 and CPO2001 courses in the same semester, and both courses complimented each other. If you are interested in politics of any kind, you will certainly learn a lot from him. Highly recommended.
Prof Duggan is honestly one of the best professors I've had at TCC. He is a really funny guy with a foul mouth, and truly loves politics. He gives a quiz every day which are one word answers on the same sheet of paper for everyone, so essentially show up and get a 100%. Attendance is key! His lectures are long but not boring, shows a lot of videos.
He gives chances for extra credit but If you take notes in class then you will do good on the final and midterm. Those are his two only tests. And maybe 3 simple quizzes.
Great guy. Really funny too. Only has two exams which are the midterm and final. Also gives out a lot of quizzes that are really easy. Definitely would take another class with him. He's really passionate on politics
he loses your work, and doesn't really have a concept to his lectures. He veers off topic more so often then others. If you CAN. I recommend to take another professor
Professor Duggan is a very well rounded teacher with entertaining lectures that provide great knowledge on topics at hand as well as current events. He is always available in his office if you have any questions. Test are easy if u study and the paper is not too bad. He really cares about his students and their progression in education.
Such an amazing professor. He knows his stuff! His lectures are great and well received. I really loved this class. I didn't have alot of knowledge on international politics, but he laid a great foundation for my INR classes at FSU which you will definitely need. Please remember this is college so you have to do the work to reap the benefits!
I really enjoyed this class. Show up to class and you will get a good grade.
I really enjoyed professor Duggan's classes. He really makes sure his students understand his lectures by connecting important topics with contemporary examples or current events. His class is easy as pie as long as you show up to class. There are also many opportunities for extra credit and there's a ton that students can learn from him.
(Express sessions)Quizzes almost everyday, if you miss morethan 4 quizzes just drop the class before its to late.
Likeable guy. Tries to keep things interesting
Going into this class, I expected it to be my least favorite of the classes I was taking and it ended up being my favorite. Dr. Duggan explains things clearly and it's nice to have a class that discusses current events. There are quizzes everyday, so if you don't show up you won't pass.
Took the class online, he was a VERY slow graders, he does leave helpful notes on the quizzes. LOTS and LOTS of writing. each week there was a discussion and an open book quiz due. The midterm and test were based off those but we didn't get quiz grades back until the day before.
Interesting lectures. He's not boring. Makes u think
I took this class online. It's not easy and it's no hard. I was very lazy and so was he. He's a VERY SLOW grader, and feedback on quizzes are horrible. Two tests one final one midterm and all short answer (yea I know it sucks) do the discussions (Easy Grade) and don't miss a quiz or you will fail.
Yes, Dr. Duggan expects you to read the text books and show up to class. Welcome to college! Once you've done the reading participation is easy. Lectures are engaging (because you actually know what he is talking about), fun & interesting!
Great teacher! I would never miss a class!
If you take an online course with him prepare to have none of your assignments graded prior to taking either exam. Hard to know if you have a subject mastered and take exams on it if you don't know if you're passing the quizzes and other assignments. I've NEVER had this issue with any other professor before. I would not recommend him to anyone.
Finishes his class and his is the worst professor I have ever had. We are two days away from final grade posting and there are 20 assignments not graded. The quizzes are graded 7 weeks after the due date. If you have a brain, don't take this man's class. He believes that extra credit is required and your grade will suffer if you do not do the EC.
The best professor I've ever had. I took him for Intro to Poli Sci and I learned a lot. I know no more about politics than I did before taking the class. I did not have thinky pain either. I learned a lot about Rumsfeld and then sometime around the middle of November I learned a lot about Comey. He used to talk about Rumseld. Now he talks Comey.
If you show up to every class and participate this is an easy A. However, he has quiz's every day for the first 2/3 of the semester and yes; they count for a lot, so show up. But other than that, 9/10 teacher would take again.
Professor Duggan is by far the best. I've taken him for INR and POS2001. He is very passionate about what he teaches. Always so welcoming during office hours. Hilarious man! There is a quiz every day so showing up is necessary. We used the book for the first couple of weeks but then he goes about his own lectures which are better.
Dr. Duggan gives compelling lectures that make the material memorable. Calendar is on syllabus with due dates; accessible outside of class; genuinely caring. Do the readings, participate in discussion, don't miss class, and you will get an A. This professor and his class inspired me to go into this field, instead of just law school by default.
Professor Duggan was by far one of my favorite teachers; not only at TCC but in general. He is so passionate about politics and really makes the class interesting. He's super cool and laid-back and is always open for in-class discussions. I would definitely recommend him.
Duggan is the greatest. He cares about his students and never gives assignments. There is a quiz every day but extremely easy.. mostly just about current events. We did use the book a few times so you may want it. If you don't like profanity and bad language then you should reconsider because he has the worst sailor mouth
Extremely passionate and knowledgeable about his subject. Works with his students and builds a rapport with them. He changed my view of the world and politics. He definitely prepares you for higher level classes. He gives a fantastic crash course of the world of International Relations. Prepare for profanity. Ask him about Saudi Arabia and Comey.
Loved him. He's interesting, easy to listen to and learn from, and funny. I wish I could have him for all of my history classes.
Duggan is awesome. He really cares about people leaving the class with a thorough understanding of what they've learned. His assignments are clear, the study guides completely reflect the tests, and he gives you the essays ahead of time. Attendance does matter but he is reasonable. However, he takes longer than any prof EVER to grade things.
Duggan is a good man and politics is his LIFE! LOL. Take good notes, and do not buy the book. We did not use it the entire semester. Most importantly, study the nationalization test. You pass all his test if you know this basic information. TRUST ME
Only tests are midterm and final which are all written, no multiple choice. Easy class if you take notes on his lectures. Know whats going on in the news to get extra credit. Assignments are easy and come straight from the book or online. He is very funny and passionate, wants you to pass and LEARN.
He lets you write down current events in politics/world news for extra credit on quizzes which helped me so much. And he also mentioned that he teaches an International Relations course so if you need/want to take that course & his class is available TAKE IT!!!!
My favorite Prof. at TCC! I took him for a poly sci summer C class. He is very caring about his students & emphasizes class participation. The study guides for the midterm/final were verbatim of the tests. He had a quiz at the beginning of almost every class that was worth 45% of your grade but if you show up & pay attention YOU WILL PASS. trust me
I had him at 9:30 am and he was so entertaining that I was able to actually pay attention and not fall asleep. He's VERY passionate about politics, if your are in the POS, Law or CJ field I would definitely take him. You learn a MULTITUDE of things and they actually stick! He gives amazing study guides for his exams and offers tons of extra credit!
Took his class, at some points it was challenging, but he will take his time to explain. Is not bias of you based of different views. Super funny and passionate about what he does. He has to at least drink 10 cups of coffee a day.
Dr. Duggan is a fantastic professor who is truly passionate about International Relations. He goes into such depth while discussing topics in class that it makes each class a very interesting learning experience. He has a vast amount of wisdom about life in general he is happy to share as well. He is an amazing person. Takes forever to grade things
Professor Duggan was super informative yet far from boring, he has so much knowledge in politics and shows it in his lectures im surprised he doesnt work for the president honestly. The homework is a pain in the butt, but its worth 100 points and the class is all so easy if you show up you will pass.
Great class! Professor Duggan gives great lecture's. The midterm and final were both 3 different essays in class, but they were easy. All around great class. Would definitely take him again.
Amazing class! Professor Duggan is very enthusiastic about his course. He curses like a sailor but keeps the class interesting. If I could retake his class 100 times I would. Absolutely loved him and his lectures. Make sure you keep up with the news as thats what his daily quizzes are on. Also hes big on attendance but other than that, 10/10!
Favorite professor I've ever taken. If you pay attention to what you're supposed to be reading (reading which is actually entertaining) and/or pay attention to current events you'll do great. Highly recommend to any student trying to get into politics or who enjoys discussing politics. Take every class he offers.
He really cares of your learning, classes are pretty interesting and sometimes even fun.
Dr. Duggan gives great lectures. I believe he is preparing his students for their future at a major university, if thats their intent. Class isnt hard, but if you want an A, it isnt easy either. He expects you to take responsibility for your learning and take an active role in class discussions. If you do well in his class, youll be fine.
This was the best IR class I've taken at TCC. I began with an interest in Russia and left really loving Russia. I am now going to study in Russia when I graduate and all because of this class I hope to realize my dream of working with my hero Putin, the greatest man on Earth, all because of this class.
Dr. Duggan is probably the best professor I've ever had. His lectures were amazing and kept me intrigued. He does have a bit of a potty mouth, but it made his lectures even better. He definitely tries to prepare students for university. He assigns a lot of articles and frontline videos that he quizzes you on, but they're all pretty interesting.
Dr. Duggan is very straight forward in what he expects, and his expectations are quite high. He will not hesitate to tell you if you are messing up, but the constructive criticism I received from him only made me more determined. However, if you attend class as you should, pay very close attention and take adequate notes, you will excel.
Dr. Duggan is a great professor. If you dont come to class you will miss daily questions which affect your grade. Gives great feedback and is very helpful. I learned a lot in this class & would definitely take him again.
Dugan is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. He is very straight forward about what is expected and will work with you to make sure you understand what is needed to earn a good grade. His lectures are very interesting and is generally a super nice guy. Loved his class!
I took Intro to Politics with professor Duggan and as someone who hates politics, he really sparked my interest. His passion really shows through in his lectures. Hell offer extra credit for those who work hard enough, and he holds a quiz at the beginning of class nearly every day. As long as you pay attention and read, youll pass easily.
Professor Duggan is one of the best professors I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and patient. He wants his students to succeed and excel in his class. He is super passionate about teaching and about politics. Even if you werent interested in the subject before, he definitely makes it fun and easy!
Lectures a lot
Dr. Duggan is passionate about what he teaches and he really tries to get his students involved. His class is lecture-heavy and is pretty much what you expect from taking a college class. If you enjoy Politics and Current Events then you will enjoy the lectures and this class. Usually a Quiz before class, so do the readings.
Great professor and really passionate about politics and he expects you to be just as passionate. Quiz just about every class, he doesn't seem to grade every single one though. Overall, pretty general grader, and great teacher!
SO I like this class but he is slow on grading. I have an assignment that he hasnt graded and he said he can't grade it until I do the work which isnt really fair. Why do I have to do an assignment for him to grade it? I emailed him three minutes ago and he still hasnt written me back which is also not fair. He does teach well n made me think once.
Professor Duggan is a lot to process in the beginning, he cares about his students academic future beyond TCC. THIS CLASS IS ESSAY HEAVY (ENC1103)! The exams are essays and the daily quizzes are essays. You can not use notes, it is all memorization. Good Luck, if you choose him as your professor. It takes one month for him to grade each assignment.
He's my favorite. Super engaging and knows how to make people listen to topics they dislike/don't know much about. Super smart. Only thing is that he didn't put grades in until the last week of school except for 7 things. Quiz in every class but they're easy. LOTS of extra credit. Tests are essay format, so memorization is key. High expectations.
Dr. Duggan is the BOMB. He is super passionate about government and politics. He is pretty lecture heavy but I don't think anyone minds because he makes things really interesting and he is a super funny guy. His tests are easy as he gives you the questions in advance to study. Do his papers and follow his expectation and you will pass this class.
He thinks the President is not the second most important person ever which is wrong because he fights the swamp everyday but Duggan teaches well anyway and its sad he doesnt see the golden of 45.
He's a great professor that thoroughly prepares you for a four year university or what you can expect in an upper level POS class at FSU. He is a great lecturer and I always enjoyed all of our in class discussions. Dr. Duggan's tests helped me become a better writer and recall information at a rapid pace, which you have to be able to do at FSU!
Dr Duggan is the best professor I ever had. As long as you show up to class and participate you will have no problem. The final paper seems intimidating but he will sit down with you 1 on 1 outside of his office hours to help if you are putting in the effort. His lectures were never dull and his personality and knowledge are unmatched 10/10 recemon
Dr. Duggan was honestly one of my favorite professors. He makes his lectures fun and interesting, very engaging. Hes very understanding and will work with you. His tests are intimidating but if you do what he says and write the essays in advice youll do perfectly fine. I also used index cards and it helped a lot!!
I took him for POS1041 Summer express class in 2020. It was supposed to be in a classroom but due to COVID 19, all classes were online. Dr Duggan tried to spark interest in topics by relating them to current events. If you have a strong political belief he encourages debate and decision. Be ready to write! ALL quizzes and tests are essay based.
Skip class you won't pass. He gives a mini quiz at the start of each class to make sure you read the book chapter but he lets you know the question the day before. Super easy class if you try. If you know little anything about the course material before your GOLDEN. He's golden too.
Professor Dugan was one of the best professors I have ever had. Its truly up to each individual person (if you show up to class, participate, read etc.) to get an A. Participation comes naturally as the professor knows to flow the class. There is a written quiz during the beginning of each class but they are easy and as long as you read youre
Professor Duggan is lecture-heavy and gives a mini quiz at the beginning of each class. Pay attention and you will get an A. He is the most interesting in the best way dude at TCC. He has real-world experience and doesn't BS you. I have taken him three times now and he's the best; POS1041, INR2002, and CPO2001.
One of the best teachers I've had in my life, super inspired and very knowledgeable. He doesn't force his political affiliation and didn't show it. I would take this class over and over again if it gave me my requirements for an AA. TCC is incredibly lucky to have him teach and you would be lucky as well if you can take one of his classes.
An amazing professor, highly recommended. There is a quiz everyday that's on the content from the last lecture. If you pay attention and engage, you'll pass.
He's fun and quirky! Clearly passionate about the subject does tend to end up going on tangents but pssst that's the best part. One major essay and everyday mini quizzes
Mr Duggan is ok. He's caring and uniquely different. If you have a hard time with this subject, communicating with him is helpful. It became a little difficult between emails and phone but speaking after class would be your best option. Get ready to be called out if you're quiet like me. Stay on point with homework(reading book) , you'll regret it
Overall is a good teacher the entire class time he might even go overtime! Hes clearly passionate about the subject he wants you to understand what it is to be a citizen. Tests and exams are essay style formatted. One paper for the entire semester!
Best teacher I have ever had. Simple as that. As a college freshman, I made a ton of memories and had a lot of fun. My happiest moments however were in Dr. Duggan's class.
He's one of the good ones. I took this class because my sister did and loved it. This semester for gov. & politics, we focused mostly on the history of Black American's history within the country as well as the overall structure of the American Government. Always entertaining and always debate stimulating. Would take another class with him.
Professor Duggan was a good Professor. When taking his course reading the text is vital to your grade because you will have to explain your understanding in assignments. The information you cannot access from Google. He wants to see you do your best and always leaves constructive feedback which will help you in further assignments.
The people who rate Duggan bad are the people who never showed up to class and expected an easy A. He makes you work for it but understands when you need help and is willing to help along the way. He leaves grading to the last minute but it is always very generous with a curve. I have taken him for 3 classes and each and every time ended with an A.
Dr. Duggan is my fav prof at TCC. he is educated and intruiging. his lectures are the best part of class, be warned that his tests are difficult. overall, just show up to class and engage with him.
I had Dr. Duggan for INR 2002 and intro to poli sci last year, and he is the best. His lectures are super entertaining and he is clearly passionate about politics. Anyone who disagrees is just wrong, he is golden and my best memories at TCC were made in his class.
Show up for pop quizes, do your best and show you did the reading and he is an AMAZING professor who is very passionate about what he teaches.
The entire class was essays (quizzes and tests) and his lectures are more important than the book (you don't need the book). His lectures are engaging on most days and you need to take good notes and study them because he has a written quiz every class period. He gives you the quiz question before class so that helps. Study and you will pass.
If you want a professor you can contact outside of class, do not take him. The class is not hard, but if you need anything you will not get help or a response. He says you need to read the book, but if you attend all of the classes he pretty much discusses what you need to pass the quizzes and tests. His lectures can be engaging. Overall not bad.
Duggan is an excellent professor. SUPER energetic! Daily quizzes are majority of your grade, so doing the readings is very important. Personally, I don't think the textbook is necessary bc we never used it but it was a "requirement". Exam's are essay based. If you have questions try to ask IN class. Just show up to every class ready and you'll pass
I'm going to be honest, the course was not hard. It's essay based, but not impossible if you go to class, take notes, and study. Also, he's unreachable outside of class so make sure you ask all your question in or after class.
Probably my favorite class at tcc so far. We mostly talk about current news and he makes it very entertaining. Attendance is mandatory because every day he gives a written quiz, but he posts the questions on Canvas a day before. There were 2 long tests given but he posts the questions for them too so that you know exactly what to study
By far my favorite class. Amazing, enthusiastic lectures. Gives a small quiz everyday so show up. Tests are essays done in a short time so cram up on details and information, but overall easy class.
One of the best teachers. Took forever to grade, but if you show up to every class, you pass. 1 question free response quiz in the beginning of every class, the question is posted before so you can just come with your response ready. The test prompts get posted before the test, no surprises. All tests were essays. Being a good writer is necessary.
Great teacher!
As long as you show up you will definitely learn something from his lectures; they were entertaining & informative. Quizzes every day, two tests, & then the final; easy as long as you study. Many extra credit opportunities. Only cons are he can be difficult to reach out to, & you cant write notes on your computer (only hand written)
THE BEST! I loved this class so much that I want to minor in IR now. Mr. Duggan made this class so interesting and fun because he truly cares. Attendance is mandatory due to daily quizzes and tests are straightforward if you put in some effort to understanding.
BEST PROFESSOR! This man is truly passionate about his teachings and his students! Attendance is mandatory because, at the beginning of each class, there's a quiz. However, quiz questions are posted on Canvas 24hrs ahead of time. The textbook is interesting and his lectures are exciting! Exams are in-person and paper-based, so be prepared to READ!!
Dr. Duggan is the best Professor @ TCC. His class is engaging, entertaining, and educational. If you are willing to put in the work, study hard, and read the assignments, you will succeed. Don't take this class if you are not willing to put in 110%. His lectures are epic and you learn a lot. Just be ready to do handwritten quizzes every class!
Professor Duggan has been my favorite by far, and I wish I could take International Relations with him again! His classes are lecture heavy so you need to attend class, He does use and reference the textbook, he does 4 tests throughout the semester where you will write 4 pages answering 2 questions (get the prompt over a week before the test)
Great professor, great class. Everything everyone says is true. Best way to get in touch outside of class is office hours, don't even try to email him.
(online express course)He gave a paper a week, nothing else, but it was extensive. If u were writing less than 1000 words itd be a miracle. He wouldnt give much structure for the paper other than hints for what he wanted. He expected you to watch multiple hour long videos for just one quiz and I never understood his grading methods. +turnitin snob
Prof. Duggan & I met on Zoom for class discussions as it was online. He is kind, follows his syllabus, & has clear grading criteria. Comprehending the material enough to express it in writing is important. The essays aren't tough, they just need effort. He values all opinions and is passionate about his job. I enjoyed the class & learned a lot!
I was in his class for one day and dropped right after. He seems very passionate about what he teaches, but in an intense stressful way. He never stops aggressively moving around, and he throws foul language into every sentence. If you want a teacher who doesn't yell their lectures at you, I wouldn't recommend.
Best professor I've had so far!
Very sweet and very passionate about learning as well as lectures. Gives homework and quizzes every single class. Does not tell you witch ones he grades. only 4 grades in the grade book and their is only 2 days left of the semester. Tests are 4 pages long and are so hard.
Professor Duggan is by far the best professor I've had. His classes will 100% prepare you for the tests and he gives extra credit in all of them. He truly cares about his students and will accommodate anything you need. This class was fantastic, entertaining, and very important. If you are considering taking him, it is a no-brainer.
Dr. Duggan is by far one of the best professors at TCC. He is very knowledgeable, and his lectures are very informative. Show up and do the work and readings, and you will have no issue passing his class.
PAY ATTENTION DURING LECTURES! said that he'll give anyone extra credit if they watch the movie 'Lincoln' as it related to what we were learning, and I think I was the only student to actually listen to him and got the extra points on my final! Very passionate and straight forward with what he expects from you! definitely one of the best!
Undoubtedly, Dr. Duggan's lectures, homework, and exams thoroughly prepared me for my current coursework at FSU; in fifty minutes, he manages to expand upon the major theories in his field using real-world examples that enlighten students while urging them to explore these topics outside of the classroom. The exams are rigorous, but helpful. 5/5!
Take this as a sign to TAKE HIS CLASS. He has been by far my favorite teacher. He taught so well to the point of me retaining everything and lets be honest, 9/10 times when taking a class you can't even remember what was on the first test. There is not enough words where I can explain more but please TAKE THIS COURSE WITH THIS TEACHER!!!
Loved his class! One of the most engaging professors I've had. Take LOTS of notes, ask questions, show up for the daily quizzes, and you will absolutely pass. The tests were quite rigorous but if you pay attention, study, & prepare for them you will be just fine. Invest in a comfortable pen/pencil, you handwrite everything.
I loved this class and Duggan! It's an easy A as long as you pay attention and take notes during lectures. For written essay exams, he gives you all the answers during class.Attendance is super important, especially on Fridays,he knows people skip that day and gives a random attendance grade. Not the professor who makes things harder than needed.
Dr. Duggan's lectures are captivating, and his passion for the subject shines through. The workload is manageable with attendance, readings, and unstuckstudy for study prep. Challenging but rewarding - a must-take class!
Mr. Duggan was really nice and understanding but you basically have to teach yourself. His test are in person 5 page papers on things that are extremely hard to memorize. He grades softly but gives no class work and no home work so at the end of the semester I had 2 test and the final in the gradebook. He also has no lecture outline.
Professor Duggan is crazy in the best way possible. If you want to learn the textbook material this isn't the class but Duggan teaches with real life experiences in an entertaining way. Be prepared for lots of intense lectures but pay attention and you'll learn some really valuable things. Awesome class and fairly easy A with a little studying.
I loved his class! He's super passionate about what he teaches. I showed up every day on time and he would give me extra credit. Really enjoyed his lectures. He encourages you to read the chapters at home before we go over them in class. Seemed lenient for students that didn't show up a lot but I dont know what grades they got so idk how lenient
I for one hated history and learning about the past. Professor Duggan changed my whole perspective. He made the material easy to digest and very engaging. I know my rights and how to defend myself. But most importantly I realize my voice matters and I can be heard. All thanks to Dr. Duggan.
His lecture is good. you will be ready to take the Florida civic exam after the course. He cares about attendance, but he understands the absences. Available at office hours and responds to the emails.
Dr. Duggan is by far the best professor I have ever had. He cares deeply about what he is teaching in any of his classes and uses real life experiences and examples to back up what he's talking about. Very funny guy with a lot of energy. Not a lot of graded work so put a lot of effort into the tests and you'll be fine. I've already taken 3 classes!
Hes a very good professor and you will learn a lot in his class. He brings in real world things and relates into the lesson. He doesn't give any homework as long as you show up to class you will get an easy a. He makes the lectures pretty inserting and a very engaging teacher.
Great! learned a lot through this class. Lectures were filled with so much knowledge and passion.
He only teaches in lectures, but the lectures are SUPER engaging and he's clearly very passionate about what he teaches! Attendance is important because he'll often give out easy extra credit quizzes to those who show up. There is a textbook with the class, but if you pay attention and study the topics before the exams, you don't need it.
